I don't consider myself overly tall or large at 5'10" and 190 pounds, yet I did not have circulation in my legs for nearly the entire flight. The pilot indicated that flight would be only 9 1/2 hours and ended up being 14.5 hours due to a maintenance issue that required us to make a stop in Anchorage. Pilot said it would only take 30-40 minutes to repair (supplemental oxygen bottle was apparently empty) and after 3 1/2hrs I think we were finally airborne, only to be delayed an additional 45 minutes or so upon landing because our gate was occupied by another plane. So what, they can't find another gate to use? The whole flight there was also delayed for an unexpected stop in Anchorage to get more fuel for the flight. Did they not complete proper flight planning? I'm a pilot and I know you can check winds aloft and plan your route with ample fuel for emergencies. So did this pilot not properly plan for the flight? I can go on and on about why I won't be flying with Delta for a long long time....so the 5,000 air miles they gave me as a courtesy for putting me through so much pain...well those extra miles are useless to me. How about refunding me the cost of my horrible flight?"

How on earth did it make any sense, I am not even muslim? I did not even mention about muslim. Those dumbass at justfly.com do not have any level of professionalism. I tried to contact china southern airlines, they are always busy, after several attempts, finally somebody on the phone talking chinese shitty accents that only understood a few english. Chinese passenger crowded and with the shitty attitudes. One of the old guy drop the heavy coffee cup on my son's head and hurt real bad when he pulled his bag immediately after the land when he is not supposed to. I have a return ticket to deal with again with pain in a few days. then I will never fly with this shitty airlines. At Gongzhau, kids are hungry in transit, tried to buy food, told they only take Yuan. there was no ATM in transit. had to exchange Yuan and thats the only option there if you want to buy something. Airport wi-fi sucks, no connectivity even after logging into the shitty local advertisers websites. Finally, crew were to manage some kind of food, but did not like it at all. shitty shitty. do no fly this airlines of chinese route at all."

This made the 10 hour flight very uncomfortable as I went hours without water. Also, use of iPad for reading books wasn't allowed after the flight was established, I'm not sure who came up with these regulations but after spending a month on various flights in Asia, this was the only flight where I encountered these issues. Also, there was no vegetarian option in economy. Fortunatly, the staff brought a left over dinner from business class but I find it hard to believe that flight to the US would not have a vegetarian option."

I was also seated across from a woman who didn't realize how stupid it was to bring a toddler on a 12 hour flight, and he screamed pretty much the entire time. I couldn't sleep at all and not even headphones drowned it out. That part wasn't really the airline's fault though, and I could see that the flight attendants were asking her several times to get her son to quiet down. I just wish there were regulations on these sorts of situations. Everyone around you suffers when you bring a small child on a very long flight because they will inevitably be bored, cranky and uncomfortable, and because we are confined to our seats, we are forced to suffer through it all. I wish that children under a certain age would not be allowed to board flights over a certain length of time except for special circumstances."

The worst is arriving at LAX at 8;39AM which is earlier than anticipated and not getting a gate opened until 9:25AM (approx) sitting on the runway not being told what is going on and when the captain does make an announcement it is to tell us he apologizes for the delay but then proceeds to announce that he and the crew have to go back and to PSP and LAX four more times. I found that inappropriate to tell us about his work schedule when Im trying to get to the gate for my connecting flight"

So of course they find you another flight in LA which is a good 3+ hours away so you can spend another 3 hours to get to your gate to wait 2 more hours to go to take of so you can reach your destination making you late for work and making you call out. Just because they wanted to make sure every single seat was filled."

And now I can't see her this morning either, because I have to take the hotel shuttle BACK TO THE AIRPORT to pick up the rental car that I PAID IN ADVANCE TO RESERVE BEGINNING YESTERDAY!!!"

Pros: "After the first two delays, they upgraded me to 1st class, it was lovely. They offered nuts and water while we waited. The pilots and crew were nice."
Cons: "Every plane was delayed so much that I missed all my connecting flights. The first one was because they still had plane maintenance to do (3 & 1/2hour delay) The second, they forgot to transfer the the log book when it was full and they had to scan 26pages while we all waited with a bunch of pissed off business men who were yelling and booing the pilot:(. The third flight was delayed so much that I couldn't fly out till the next day."
