I called the help desk and after 40 minutes and 4 different people they said that in fact that the flight 008 from Bohota to Miami was delayed. Very Poor communication between company departments and poor communication alerts to costumers. In addittion, the only explanation from counter staff was "airplane maintance". Really? For an international flight from Bogota where you have located your main airplane base ? I do believe that land staff is very poorly train compared to inflight crew. Land staff has very poor supervision to improve costumer service."

I couldn’t get home on the other airline because it was full, so I had to buy another ticket to another city and had a family member pick me up, so we drove an additional hour. From the time I went to the airport in La Paz, took me 24 hours to get home. I had to work the next day."

Cons: "Apparently our seats got sold to someone else and they had to send us to Panama and then Miami with another airline (Copa Airlines) with their oldest plane. Longest and slowest line at check in counter. Very disappointed. They said we were going to get a refund and haven't seen it yet."
Cons: "The direct flight to Miami was postpone at 1:00 in the morning. They sent me to Panama and then to Miami in the last back seat of the 2 flights. My suitcase is still in Panama. Not delivered in Miami. The flight Panama-Miami was really dirty. What a disaster!"

All the flights had meals even though some of them were strange times, and a good beverage selection was also offered. The in-flight entertainment was pretty top-notch. Great ticket price though, and somehow I lucked out and had some free seats next to me in some of the flights. very friendly staff and crew."
Cons: "all the flights that I was on didn't even start boarding until about 20 minutes before the plane was supposed to take off. This resulted in all the flights I was on being around 45 minutes to an hour late taking off. The cabin size was very small, it was hard to fit my stuff in the overhead compartment. not a lot of legroom and for a 6 foot one guy, this was a bit of an issue and I had some intense leg pain from my position. for the low-cost flight that I got I did have some seemingly out-of-the-way layovers and they were also quite long. would be great to see airplanes that The option to choose a bunk bed instead of a regular seat so that you could rest on redeye flights or just take naps in general."

Pros: "Their service has lowered the standards though and that is why I do not grade them 5 stars. In particular the crew in the plane was not as nice and the food was not as good as before. Compared to other airlines I frequent though, Avianca is the best."
Pros: "On the flight down from Miami to Cartagena, we did not expect a meal...and since we are all vegetarians, pretty much did not get one, but the flight attendants gave us what they could. I called Avianca and requested vegetarian and received for all 6 of us! Also, pleased that my whole family was seated in one row."

Cons: "My office in UK needed to change my departure day electronically. She was told she needed (for complex reasons) to go to London to do this - ridiculous as we live on the Isle of Wight. The other option was I needed to go to the airport to change it and pay supplement. Luckily it was only a 30min taxi ride from my hotel. The desk staff could see the issue and resolved the problem within 20mins - extremely helpful. A shame this could not be sorted in UK by phone and email"

On this flight, me and my son were left without a hot breakfast and their excuse was "sorry, we ran out" so we got only the leftovers from the serving trays. Cons: "Awful flight attendant that was rude in not passing a snack to us and then not handing a bottle of water to me when snacks were being stroked to the passengers. When asking her why she didn't provide us a snack she said that this is a plane and when the captain says we have to land that she doesn't have to pass out snacks. The interesting thing is that all the other passengers around us receive snacks and bottled water except us. When we were leaving the plane after it landed my mom had to stay behind while I went to the front of the plane a good wheelchair assistance. The same stewardess said why did your son leave you and my mother had to correct her and say that he went to the front to get wheelchair assistance. The lady was very rude and didn't know proper manners."

Pros: "There were many delays and cancellations due to bad thunderstorms at LGA. Despite a few hours delayed (because the airport was closed due to the storm), the flight was still schedule to leave! I was very happy about that. They did issue waivers for those who could not make the later time. Once delta got the ok to fly.. The flight left the gate very fast and we arrived and exited the plane super fast too. The process was so efficient and quick, I did not feel the waiting period. The flight attendance were so happy and positive, they made he flight very enjoyable. Great job delta!"

Dinner was okay, but they served wine with it which made it better, also included with price of the flight. They did offer headphones for those that wanted/needed then for the inflight movie, once again included with the price of the flight."

Cons: "flying from Medellin to Orlando, it will take in a direct fly 4 hours max. It took us 9 hours to get to Orlando. The waiting time in Panama was to long (4 hours, more than what it will take the whole fly if it was direct). When we land i took forever (25 min) to reach the point where we can get off from the airplane. Then it took 1 and half hour to get our suitcases."

Everything was fine but our flight was delayed an hour with no explanation and then we ended up sitting in the airplane for an hour and a half. I assumed they airport crew was loading luggage into the plane. But no explanation was given. The flight attendants were awesome and I ended up with a whole row to myself."

Boarding was a bit unusual - they're splitting the passengeres to maaaaaany groups - military, no carry-on luggage, disabled, with kids, with carry on to put under the plane, first class and finally the regulars... Not sure if that actually speeds up the process, seems officious.."

Cons: "From the time we were waiting for the plane, the attendants at the airport gate came across rude / and threatening when asking for people to check their carry-ons. While we had no carry-ons it was very striking as I have never heard this kind of communication in decades of traveling with different airlines. While on the plane, we sat in the absolute back seat, and also caught "attitude" of attendants when they communicated to one another about the carry-ons they were holding for the agent. Eye-rolling and tone. These frustrations should not be aired to customers."
Pros: "Crew was friendly and professional and helped people with their bags. There wasn't a big difference between this airline and other bigger airlines. Some flights will be better than others depending upon the crew and passengers and weather, but passengers are packed in one lost all the flights."
Cons: "Took a long time for passengers to board and "line" was clogged up at the gate by people waiting. People need to get out of the way of those boarding. Ran out of video machines by the time they got halfway down the aisle."

Cons: "While returning to my seat after using the toilet I witnessed an older, female, blond flight attendant be inappropriate with a passenger. The passenger happened to have a hijab on. The flight attendant repeatedly, & with a raised voice, told the passenger to go back to her seat and even put her hands on her shoulders three times pushing her in the direction of her seat. Meanwhile, the passenger was in line for the bathroom and, more importantly, was waiting for her much younger brother who was in line 3 people ahead of her; The flight attendant either could not hear us try to tell her that she was waiting for her younger brother or did not care. It made me feel very uncomfortable as she seemed to be singling this woman out. The woman was very appropriate wth her, despite being discriminated against as well as having had been pushed away."
Pros: "The flight itself was great, the only problem was when we landed we waited on tar mat for almost hour. Already a 4 hour flight so it added additional hour. Otherwise check in , flight and baggage claim was great."

Announcements were informal - really felt like we were on a training flight. Staff wasn't helping people with bags or to find their seats like other airlines do. Maybe this more relaxed atmosphere is why the prices are lower? If so, that's fine with me - but doesn't seem like you're gunning to attract more business or be anything other than the airline in between the disgusting model of Spirit and the lame cost-cutting of major airlines. Like, innovation is only possible via dissension, and I'm sure your business is having the same troubles with idiot senior leaders as every other US corporate business is, but if you're going to ask for feedback, the feedback is stop being so blah and stand for something other than your Board. Plenty of ideas out there - stop being so pro-short term profit and start having some fun!"

No seat-back entertainment screens, not power outlets so you could watch on your own device, one bottle of water for a five hour flight, and ride, inattentive cabin crew. I should point out that while I booked through BA, both flights were operated by American Airlines."

Pros: "That was my first experience with the Airbus 380. The plane is an excellent ship and the takeoff and landing was surprisingly smooth. Flying is very stable as well. Although it has two decks you are just in one and it looks like any other long distance plane. Seats are a bit narrow but comfortable. Entertainment is individual and plenty of options. Economy cabin is divided in two sections and each section has its own lavatories."
Cons: "The boarding and disembarking operation is never-ending and of course economy class has to wait until business and first -that are considerably large- have completed their getting out. Even with two exits for the two decks it was very slow. On boarding I also noticed that several passengers boarded the wrong deck: nobody but a generic sign was telling them what gate was theirs. With 450 or 500 passengers the chance that something goes wrong increases. In our case a passenger didn't make the connexion and the luggage had to be removed. Food is just fine. Surprisingly the beverage was extremely short of options: just wine or water, no coke or sodas. Same with supper: just coffee, water or juice. The trip was long -9 hours- but no water was offered between meals."

Cons: "Flight was operated by American Airlines. Aircraft was insanely old, with no personal entertainment system, but only a few overhead monitors for all passengers, which played OLD movies. That is unbelievable and unacceptable in 2018. Seats pitch was pretty small and I even had to fly on a broken seat that would not recline, for a 11 hours flight. The most uncomfortable flight I have ever flew. If that wasn't enough to make the experience the worst possible, flight attendance was rude! I strongly suggest to avoid American Airlines at all cost."

Pros: "I haven't left Miaimi. American Airlines employees are horrible. After arriving from London they told me to pick up my check in baggage proceed to drop bag near exit 5. When I arrived it was crowded nobody know which line is for checkin and which line is for dropping the bag. I finally went to the counter and ask and the lady said, she couldn't accept it as it was 30 left before departure. She pointed me to another lady who also washed her hand. They were both reluctant and finally accepted my baggage but the security line was too long for me to reach departure on time. Horrible. The ladies who at the departure counter have different asnwer for my checked in baggage. I/m so tired from this domestic flight that I haven't completed."

Cons: "Big negative was switching planes at Heathrow. Heathrow transfer services for people with their own wheelchairs was a horror. At one point we were put on a shuttle bus underscored with no body to help us when we disembarked . Once someone showed up they complained that they had to push wheelchair so far to gate which of course was the furthest distance away."

Pros: "British Airways is always my first choice when I fly. You always know what you will get and the familiarity of knowing the booking system, the lounge, the seats. All this needs to be weighed up with a disinterested crew (and I am generalising which is unfair!) and dated planes"
Cons: "The plane is dated. There was dust in the lockers, my seat got stuck and the entertainment screen was difficult to see. But my big disappointment with this the disinterest of the cabin crew. The purser sits and completes his paperwork while coffee is slowly dripping out of an overflowing disposal unit, collecting under his shoe. The cabin crew on my aisle kept on forgetting what food people ordered and if you were snoozing or not in your seat while she did her round, you missed your chance."
Cons: "I don't get no dinner on the flight from Miami to London Heathrow and I felt faint from hunger on board. When I complain to one of the flight crew ,we one hour and forty five minutes left to land,she gave me a pretzel bunch and a cup of tea."

Cons: "We booked World plus, extra money, and they put us in the last row against wall where the seats hardly recline. I complained but we were well into our flight when we told the stewardess she did not get back to us regarding changing seats. She came back about 20 minutes laterwith unacceptable seats,far from our overhead and we could not sit together. We declined. My husband had to board early because his foot was in a special brace after recent surgery. They could only move him to a center seat where he would hae to risk someone stepping on his foot. We are 70 years old.We had one small meal on an 8.5 hour flight."

Pros: "A380 planes hold far too many people for the capacity of the departure terminal making the gate experience sonewhat of a spill over. Seating maps at check in did not make available a single seat close to us for a third member of our party who had booked an equal ticket on a separate booking. Yet after n boarding there were seats physically available that were not offered by check in staff. Meal trash was left for far too long before collection in our seats which was upper deck final rear cabin. Plane noise during flight was very low, excellent. Miami Airport is a logistical immigration process nightmare. We look forward to BA using FLL instead directly from the UK."

Cons: "The designer of the business class seats used by British Aiways is surely an acrobat who flies no longer that's two hours. And those at British Aiways who bought into this design probably don't fly at all. Passengers who are sitting in a window seat must literally walk over the passenger in the aisle seat in order to get to the aisle. Flight attendants must serve the passengers on window seats right over those sitting in the aisles. The seats are narrow, and if you're sitting in the aisle, you don't even have a space to put your bottle of water or reading glasses. I can go on and on. This is my last flight on British if I can manage."

Cons: "In all fairness to British airways this was actually "operated by AA" and their customer service leaves much to be desired. Traffic to get into the airport was the worst I've ever seen. When we finally arrived, Although we checked in prior to arrival, we still had to wait in line for over an hour to check in our bags! We told the agents three times our flight was boarding, however, they were almost nasty and would not expedite us. they finally started to call our flight and we were pulled from the line, even then it was very disorganized how we were processed. We had to run through security and the long terminal and along with others in our flight that had been in line, were the last to board as the flight was delayed waiting for us. One of the worst experiences ever. They really need to do something about their check in process as we were not the only ones subjected to these delays. The plane had technical problems landing and had to be towed in but thank God we made it."
