Boarding was a bit more chaotic than usual and the gate agent made no announcement about boarding procedure, which certainly contributed to the scrum resulting. I arrived from the Skyclub several minutes prior to boarding time and was unable to find a path through to the Priority Boarding Lane. As boarding began she had to redirect at least seventy-five percent of those in front of me as they were not in First Class. Had she made one or more clear announcements about boarding procedure I rather doubt such a misunderstanding would have occurred with so many."
Cons: "For the third Delta flight in a row (all First Class) the crew did not make any effort to keep economy class cuctomers form storing bags in the First Class overhead or using the only First Class laveratory during flight. This flight I was unable to utilize the laveratory even once due to this excessive and continuous useage. Trying to do my bit to reduce our carbon footprint, yet I am sorely tempted to return to charter service when disrespect of the airlines own basic service class rules gets piled on top of TSA hassles."

Cons: "Delta Flight #1661 I paid for 1st class. My first flight was late so I arrived at the gate after boarding began. When the gate attendant scanned my ticket another printed. When he handed me the ticket my seat had changed to seat 25E. I told the attendant that I had paid for first class. He asked me to step aside while he contacted his supervisor, Joe. Then I had to wait until ENTIRE flight had boarded which defeated part of the reason I paid for the upgrade. This was on top of the fact I was so thirsty because 1st flight didn't have drink service and because it was late I had to book it to the connection arriving sweaty, hot and needing to use the bathroom. I was told they had given my seat away to someone as a free upgrade. Joe offered me a $100 voucher to take other seat which was less than I paid for 1st class, plus the seat was a middle seat in the rear of the plane. When I told him as much, he tried to manipulate me by telling me that they would have to kick someone out of my seat. When I declined the downgrade, they made me stand by while they kicked someone out of my seat which was embarrassing and humiliating. Then, when they handed me a new boarding pass, it was not the seat I had paid for and selected, instead it was in the first row, which I’ve always hated because there is no under seat storage and I cannot keep my backpack with me. When I pay for first class, it is primarily so that I can board first and so that I have extra room to work (which I need access to my bag to do). While I was trying to take out the minimum of the things I needed from my bag and figure out how to manage without it, 3 times a flight attendant told me they had to take my bag (since I was the last person to board they tried to prevent me from using the bathroom and they were anxious to leave early). I tried to explain that Delta had prevented me from boarding earlier and that they gave away the seat I paid for which was NOT the first row."

Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

However, I discovered at check-in I would actually be traveling on American Airlines with a different flight no. I had already provided my BA flight numbers to family. No explanation was give to me prior to flight that this would be the case. Food was terrible- even for Coach class - I don't always expect a gourmet meal, but BA was consistently good in the past, so I had positive expectations. My personal entertainment system did not work properly so I could not use it."

Cons: "We understand that delays happen but due to a delay on American Airlines we have lost our luggage and it doesn't seem likely it will be returned. We had five pieces of luggage lost during our flight from the U.S. to Spain. When we arrived in Madrid we were told that all five pieces had been located. When we went to pick them up the next day there were only four pieces at the airport. We were told the fifth suitcase would be delivered when it was located. It's ten days later and there's no sign of the luggage. It has taken multiple phone calls to get the information about the luggage correct. They assure me that they have everything correctly documented and then when I call back they haven't changed a thing. It has been a very frustrating process overall."

At the airport I was a mess and the airline counter attendant was so amazing helping me ( I had never flown United and had no idea about their luggage policies ect..). She quickly pulled me aside.. helped me with checking in and did her best to fine me another seat thatvwas better than the one I had already chosen.Also, she gave me a hug and her condolences. Flying with an airline that has heart helped me so much during one of the most difficult times of my life. I will absolutely fly with them again."

Was he a prison guard in his previous job? On the way to Newark, I had an aisle seat. One of the stewardesses blazed by me with a cart ramming it into my shoulder without so much as a, "sorry." I'm not a big woman but maybe as I dozed off I leaned over a bit...There is no way she didn't feel her cart hit me. Rudeness, it seems is a part of the culture at United because the flight attendants coming back squeezed past the long line for the bathroom without saying, "excuse me." They did however, say, "I need to get by," and one of them brushed by the gentlemen sitting next to me and bumped his laptop and coffee. Overall it seems that the crew working these particular United flights have forgotten that we pay hard earned money to fly. Some of us are going on vacation, to see loved ones, and some are flying to deal with unpleasant circumstances. The staff may fly several times a day, but most passengers do not. There's a lot of prep and anxiety, that goes into taking a flight and a surly flight crew multiplies that anxiety. No one wants to fly with a crew that hates their job."

Cons: "Flight there was ok. I'm 6ft 3 and have some weight to me but I've never had a problem being able to fit in a seat before. Not even close! The Boeing 737 we rode on the way back home was THE most uncomfortable 3 hours ever. I saw other customers "getting up to go to the bathroom" to stretch and get out of these seats. They were so small, so cramped and the leg room is the worst I've ever had! Hey United, instead of upgrading your older planes to have tv's in all the head rests (which costs money anyways) why don't you retrofit them to have liveable if not comfortable seats/legroom. Absolutely terrible. Considering never flying United again after that flight. I thought longer flights usually get bigger planes with more slightly more comfortable sitting accommodations. Caved and got one of the food boxes....bleh. Just bleh. Supposed to have smoked gouda spread. Tasted like those pretzel and cheese snacks that you give your kids for lunch."
Cons: "Unfortunately, the flight was not a good experience. We boarded and then after an hour, had to deplane. We were told ticket agents would be waiting to help. There were over 200 people and only one agent. A second came later. After an hour and a half, I was issued a new ticket with a layover in DC, that flight was delayed and would have made it impossible to make the connection. I waited in line again, and was helped by a different, much more efficient person. She booked me on American direct to Grand Rapids. That flight was great. It would have been alright if there were more agents or when you called United, they could have helped but did not. It was poorly handled. There was one agent that shined through and if you were lucky enough to get her, life was good."

I've flown over a dozen times this past year, and this was the most uncomfortable I've been. My United flight later this same day on a smaller ERJ or CRJ jet was more comfortable than this flight."

Cons: "The flight was cancelled at 7:30pm for an 8:20 take off. To begin to say how unprofessional and rude the entire ticket counter staff and GM were would take me all day! The level of concern was non existent in wanting to help the passengers get to there destination. Trying to rebook people on a flight 2 days later to me does not constitute making qualifying arrangements. We were given expired dinner vouchers (listed dinner time from 5-8) at 9:15pm to go eat in the airport.... Well I'm not sure if people are aware but when you don't have a flight you are not allowed into the concourse. I also had to repeatedly say that I live 20 minutes away and I do not need a hotel. I didn't have anyone to pick me up and when I asked for a voucher for a cab ride they said they were not offering it even though it's listed on the paper they had given us they offered hotel, food and ground transportation vouchers. At that point I could not deal with the ticket counter any longer. I had to call every place I booked and try and get a refund since my vacation was obviously not happening. Then I called the website listed number for frontier and had to argue with them over what was being done. This whole situation took everyone 3 hours to deal with. I can honestly say there were many irritated customer by this point. Even the few that "understood" we're not so understanding by this point. My flight and baggage were refunded. And a $200 future ticket was issued. But that does not excuse the fact that my vacation was ruined and cancelled bc of frontier. I also lost money on this entire ordeal bc the flight I was coming back on was a different airline. I'm still waiting on a return call from someone at frontier airlines since Wednesday 5/25/2016."

They also did not even have a baggage claim counter like all of the other airlines. I had to go up to departures to the ticketing counter. They were not able to me where my bag was. My flight was a direct flight from Denver to Cleveland so I was incredibly surprised my luggage was lost. I had to handle the whole thing myself. I called Denver airport and was told 2 bags didn't make it on my flight. I was told they couldn't verify it was my bag but it "probably" was. I rushed out Christmas morning to the Cleveland airport to get my bag on the flight it was supposed to be on. It wasn't there. I sat in Cleveland airport for 3 hours on Christmas Day. I was told I would be compensated for my troubles from one Frontier worker then when I got my bag and asked about it I was told no. I will NEVER fly with them again. You get what you pay for....cheaper flight with the worst possible customer service."

Cons: "My flight from Phl to lax was cancelled on 6/28 due to weather. I'm not holding the air line accountable for the weather however I was given two options for the next day flight. I chose of course the same as previously scheduled direct flight from Phl to LAX I was told I would receive a round trip voucher for the inconvenience and I would addition receive an email confirming the modification within 15 mins. Long story short never received the email and I called the air line Spirit and was informed I was booked the wrong flight and the flight I wanted was booked. I was really to work with the air line to fly into almost any line into Cali but after 4 1/2 hours on the phone with the air line I was unable to change my flight. So now I have to take a connecting flight the total time traveling will be over 10 1/2 hours not including arriving 2 hours early to avoid missing my plane for the busy tsa lines. Nevertheless I would be satisfied if their representative would at least take accountable for their mistake and kept telling me that I booked connecting flight vs the direct flight. I was given a lossy $50 voucher which doesn't even cover luggage round trip. I have a flight schedule on 6/14 with the same air line which I'm strongly considering canceling due to the air lines negligence and mistake; however mostly because of the poor customer service the lack of acknowledgement of taken accountability for their mistake."

Then we filled a claim form. my Fatherinlaw was in the car waiting for us for 3 hours. We went home and realized my meds are in the suitcase. I called a few times but they still couldnt track the bag. We had to go shopping for clothes because we had a party that night and I had to buy cosmetic, clothes, toilterites, etc. it was a waste of time. Time I could be spending with my family. Me, my husband and my inlaws called a few times next day (12/23) asking for an update but no one had a clue where the bag is. At this point, we had no idea where to bag is so we had to go shopping again and buy more clothes for next few days. Again, more time, money, gas in car, other people time that had to drive us invested… it was very frustrating. I take a lot of meds which makes me anxious and this created a huge stress on my Christmas vacation. All of my gifts I got for our family was in the suitcase. This was a very frustrating time for me and my husband, not knowing if the family will have gifts ontime. Also, my laptop charger was in the suitcase so I had to take days off from work. We called again a few times on 12/24. we called in again and no answer. We drove all the way to the airport and spoke to a really nice lady. We were at the airport for hours. She couldn’t track the luggage so we went home disappointed. Keep in mind, this was Christmas eve and I could have spent all this time shopping, driving to the airport, to busy stores. By this time I gave up on the bag and accepted we have lost it… I was very very upset because all of my gifts, new clothes I got for the vacation, my cosmetic, my husband’s electronics… We had more than 3K worth stuff in the suitcase. I couldn’t even get hold of the customer service to talk to someone. This was Christmas eve.. and my husband was still trying to call someone. Finally got hold of someone and they said that the bag was in Philly and will get to the house next day 1pm. Ok, great, atleast they could track the bag… Anyways, 1pm next day, no bag..we tried calling all day, but no answer. Finally my husband got hold of someone and they said that the bag will be deliver Xmas night. WOW! But ok. Whtever at this point. We waited all evening.. then called again. They didn’t answer. Finally around 10pm they answered and told my husband that we are 5th in line for the bag delivery and they wont be able to get to us until late in the night. My husband agreed to the time. They called us 230am and asked to verify address which I am glad they did because they had a wrong address. Anyways, my husband was on the phone texting/ calling for directions and finally the bag came at 4am…. The suitcase was damaged. Gladly nothing was missing… HOWEVER, the frustration for the whole week made my Christmas trip a really bad one… I am very big on customer service so it frustrates me that we were not able to contact anyone to get answer.. I understand that the luggage could get lost but not being able to track it for days while you are on vacation in a different state??!!! It was the most frustrating thing me and my family had to deal with."
Cons: "When purchasing my flight with Spirit, I did it for the price- like most people who buy tickets with this airline. I knew I would be charged for my carry on bag, but did not think it would amount to $45.00. My biggest issue with them is that my flight was delayed 3 hours... every single time I fly this airline my flight is delayed. There were no weather issues at all, just always seems like Spirit can't get their act together. Cons: "Well, since the flight was canceled for no reason with a return option of flying home 3 days later (after New Year's Eve and New Years), I'd say my flight experience was pretty miserable. Finally managed to get on a late United flight and wound up paying an extra $300. I will never fly spirit again - too unreliable"
Cons: "No confirm numb. was sent. Disconnected 7 times in a row. Had to call back four times after they said the emailed it and still didn't get it. Fligh was canceled. No ather flight for 3 days. Not enough characters to go on."
Pros: "The only good thing about the flight was the crew everything else was horrible old plane you have to pay for everything even a carry on. The first and last time I fly spirit"

Cons: "I've been using Kayak since the first couple yrs the site was live. I've built up a lot of trust for Kayak over time and have recommended to a lot of friends in multiple countries. Recently, I purchased a ticket on Spirit through Kayak and had something happen that have never happened to me. I arrived at the airport and was charged an additional $112 for a carry on and 1 checked bag. I realize now that this is a Spirit policy, but not only will I never fly that shitty airline again, I will be extremely hesitant to use Kayak for my travel needs. I trust that Kayak clearly states all policies that should be a concern to its users and I have always believed in the prices that you displayed. This is obviously not the case and by working with an airline like this, it ultimately discredits a once reputable site like Kayak. All those yrs of building trust and just one trip puts it all back at zero and opens up opportunity for your competition. Bad business moves and partnerships will lead to more of this. Cons: "They broke my bag very durable fiberglass suitcase, my seat was very uncomfortable, all of the lines were incredibly long, and worst of all none of the agents were even a little bit nice."
Cons: "When we stop at Atlanta there was know there to open the door of the plane. We waited over an 1/2 hour. Then when it was time to reload passengers the system was down and it took over a hour. Our arrival time was 12:30 we did not get to Los Angeles until after 2:30 west coast time. Me husband with dementia was very upset and confused. It was not a pleasant flight."
