Pros: Crew was nice, polite, and fairly accommodating. Would prefer to be given the full can of soda, instead of a glass which is 1/2 can and need to ask for more. Xtra leg room seat was ok.
Cons: Boarding wasn't great. Long lines. Deask lady gave my extra leg room seat, that I had bought and paid for, away to another person which made my boarding pass invalid. Made my boarding longer. Then no overhead space avail when I did get on and I was in bulkhead seat. I got my seat back.. But it was annoying, unnecessary, and uncalled for. And the woman who did it did not apologize.
Pros: Kudos to the employees who really tried to help rather than pay mere lip service.
Cons: The plane experienced a mechanical issue forcing us to return to the gate after waiting for an hour. The staff was clearly overwhelmed and focused on moving us along (Cheryl) rather than resolving our need to reach our destinations.it wasn’t until we found one extremely patient and persistent employee (LaShondra-?) who booked us through NYC rather than Atlanta so we reached Rochester on the same day. So the questions are- why don’t the airport hold a larger inventory of parts, why aren’t there back up planes and why doesn’t the software better cope with these types of situations?
Cons: My son was flying on United from Colorado Springs to Denver, then on to Seattle for Thanksgiving. He rushed through as quickly as he could, but the door to the place was closing and it left 10 minutes early. United recorded him as a 'No Show', and there policy now is to cancel the entire ticket is you miss any segment of a round trip ticket. Thus, his entire $900 was forfeited, he couldn't even pay a change fee to catch a later flight. I hate American, and now I hate United just as much. These airlines shills have been allowed to go out of business when they last filled for bankruptcy. We fly in quite a few international airlines, and outside of Alaska, Jet Blue and Delta, maybe Southwest, US carriers are absolutely bottom of the barrel and it's clear that their employees don't care whatsoever. Will never book again in United or American. I'll try Amtrak before either of those carriers.
Pros: Crew worked hard under difficult circumstances but flight was not well equipped
Cons: First we boarded and then had to deviate and move to a different delayed flight. No head sets, tv did not work , seat was very uncomfortable.
Pros: What mede this trip so poor was that the agent at the desk informed me that as I was boarding the plane my carry on suitcase had to be checked due to limited space in the overhead bins. This is the same carry on that I have stored in overheads on literally over 100 flights including a United flight 4 days earlier. I was the approximately the fith passenger to board in group 3 and after I let her check my bag I walked on to the plane to see not only was it only one quarter full of passengers, most of the overhead bins were completely empty. So I had to go to baggage claim to get my checked bag after we landed which took almost 40 minutes. Very frustrating!

Pros: The crew was nice and came by often.
Cons: There was a dog on the 10 hour flight, I thought United Airlines had an 8 hour limit. The dog barked throughout the flight, so obviously it was a pet not a service animal. UA needs to enforce its own policy.
