Cons: "The boarding process is quite confusing with all the different categories of people prior to the actual listed "zone" boarding. As an example, if you have a "Zone 2" boarding pass, you think you will be second to board when in reality that means you are second to last to board. After those who need extra time, those with small children, active military, premier, whatever.... all that covers about 2/3 of the passengers. Then of course there's all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with."

Cons: "Getting through security at the LAX Delta Terminal 2 was chaotic and the slowest I have ever encountered. There were two lines which moved at very different speeds. My husband got through his line 15min before I was finished in the other line. One line required iPads to be other, the other didn't. Something was seriously wrong with how things were being handled. Bathrooms onboard were a pigstie."

Cons: "5 minutes until boarding at JFK we were told to transfer gates; upon arriving by shuttle to the new gate, passengers were informed the aircraft was downsized and 20 people needed to be bumped. I volunteered since I had a flexible schedule so Delta re-issued me a ticket at 9am JFK for a 10am flight out of La Guardia. I trusted them I'd make it in time and they said they called taxis for us so we left to go catch them. Actually, no taxis were to be found so we had to call our own and were significantly delayed. I was in the first group of 5 people to be re-issued and arrive at La Guardia. Everyone else bolted but my new boarding pass didn't work and they actually didn't properly re-issue my ticket as I had been booked as leg 3 of my international flight from Malaysia. After they called three different departments including China they were able to print my ticket at 9:54am so I sprinted through the security and to my gate and was able to somehow make the flight as they were closing the door. However probably 14 or so of the original bumped passengers definitely didn't make it."

I was super excited to finally get upgraded! Then the plane had problems we were then again delayed and had to deplane. We were told this would be a 2 hour delay. I proceeded to try an get on the next flight at 8:20 while asking about a window seat the lady told me I would have to pay an additional $19! Well I had already paid $50. So the nice lady put me on that flight after I had already asked for window seat. She put me in the middle seat! I get that planes have problems and flights are delayed! There was so much bad yesterday then good and I feel like delta should know. It's more and more bad everytime I fly! Please fix these problems!"

By ths point it was 5 pm, had been at airport since 8:30 -- no food offered, no apologies, not even a glass of water. Of course, no flights back to US so I was stuck an extra day, completely messed up school and work. I THOUGHT I was booking with Iberia but it was a code share. I WILL NEVER fly American Airlines again!"

A little embarrassing that an airline in America can't afford a hotel for people stranded in a city overnight."

Cons: "When the pilot took off at LGA he said "everyone here is trying to take off at the same time" so we'd be delayed by 30 min. Not once was there a mention of any other reason. By the time we got to DC I had JUST missed my connecting flight. It was listed nowhere on the departures screen and I realized I had to take an outdoor bus to the other half of the "c" terminal which was very confusing. I got there and had missed the connecting flight and stand in line for 20 min for someone to tell me that I would be stuck in DC overnight. At this point rain had started pouring and they told me that because my mishap was due to weather they would provide no meal or hotel voucher. Weather was not the issue and I was stuck in DC overnight by myself and not compensated for hotels or meals."

Cons: "Washington airport grounded our flight for no apparent reason while we were on the runway in Indy about to take off, then didn't tell us when we could expect the delay to end."

Pros: "The flight was half an hour late but we borded quickly and got in the air quickly so I felt like they were doing their best to make up time. The flight was smooth and crew was nice."

After 11 hours of travel under by belt for the day, I prepare for the final leg by removing my very small cross-body from my "personal item" so that I can easily access my passport and boarding pass. The gate crew makes me stand there and put everything away before getting on the plane while I continue to struggle with my carry-on. this could have easily been done once I was settled and buckled into my seat instead of holding up the line. I have priority boarding, clearly there is plenty of time to reorganize once I am on the plane and out of the way!"

While their automatic message said they would reschedule my trip and call me with the new information, having relied on this before only to receive a recorded message two hours later saying they could not reschedule and asking me to call them, I called them right away - only to spend 90 minutes on hold. Then the AA agent tried to book me on two flights that ultimately did not have seats. Finally she booked me on a flight that was 24 hours later--and when I got to the airport, I had to spend another 20 minutes at the counter because, according the counter person, the AA agent did not get the details right. AA cancelled my flight and yet all other airlines kept flying. This is the third time I have flown AA and the third time that they have cancelled my flight and delayed my trip home by 24 hours or more. I've lost three days of vacation due to AA. I will not fly them any more."

Once in board we find out that they can't take off because they need to fix the "entertainment system" but apparently they sent the wrong technician who didn't know how to fix it and had to wait for the right one. I'm not even sure what had to be fixed since there wasn't even any entertainment offered after they fixed it. Once we arrived there were about 100 bags sitting in the bag claim and an equal number of people standing around waiting for bags. None of which was associated with our flight. Then it took forever to get the luggage out for our flight."

I was told there were no more flights to DC until Saturday, which was totally unacceptable for me. I got on standby to a flight to Philadelphia but had to rent a $220 rental car in order to get home at a reasonable time."

Along the way the crew was great, but American is run by someone who does not care about customer service. I won't be flying with American anymore."

Cons: "On the flight back home, AA cancelled my connecting flight, and did not bother to notify me, even though I have my account set up for them to notify me of flight changes. If not for the Kayak app on my phone, I would have flown to an airport where I may well have been stranded for hours, if not the following day, for a flight that no longer existed, since I had already checked-in on-line and would have gone directly to my first flight. Thanks to flight status monitoring by Kayak, I got an email from Kayak telling me that the flight was cancelled before I left for the airport so that I could go to an AA desk. They were particularly unhelpful and uninformed, and it was only sheer luck that I was able to get on the first flight I was on stand-by. I know this sounds like a commercial, but put the Kayak app on your smartphone and don't travel without it. AA will quite happily leave you stranded without it!"

Cons: "Now that American has completed their takeover of US Air, they have downgraded the planes on the CHS/DCA route to crappy little Canadair regional jets. Boarding/disembarking at DCA is via bus at the dreaded cattlecar gate 35X. What was a pleasant flight experience on US Air is now something to dread. Fortunately, Jet Blue also flies this route with full size planes and boarding gates."

Pros: "The flight itself was uneventful, but I was extremely dissatisfied having to reschedule 2 flights on very short notice"
Cons: "I had a 3 leg trip: Seattle to NY to DC to Seattle. First my early morning non-stop flight from Seattle to NY was cancelled around 5 PM the previous day. I was able to get on another flight with one stop and was stuck in middle seats for both flights - although I had paid for a premium seat on the nonstop flight that was cancelled. Then I got notified around noon that my 5:15 PM flight from NY to DC that day was cancelled. American left me a voice mail that they had automatically rebooked me for the following day without checking to see if that worked for me - despite that fact that they had other same day flights available! I was able to rearrange my schedule and get on an earlier flight - but was extremely unhappy with the short notice, and their assumption that I would be fine getting in the next day!"

Cons: "Cannot get seat assignments on line. "Sorry!" says the message. Late take-off from BDL. Gate attendant doesn't like answering questions and could be friendlier. Having to check roller planeside. Would prefer a larger plane. Plane could have been cleaner. Delay at DCA while waiting for jetway. Couldn't robots move the jetways to the planes?"

Cons: "Overall the flight was great. I was carrying a suit in a hanging bag and asked the flight attendant in first class if there was a place I could hang it. She politely offered to hang it behind the last row of first class since none were in use. When getting off the plane, I grabbed my bag as I walked off and the other flight attendant said "you can't put your bag there, it isn't for you" to which I replied that I was told I could use the hanger. She then said "well you shouldn't have been given permission, and don't do it again, it isn't for you." The tone was a bit rude, and maybe the consistency should be reviewed."

Cons: "Because of the short connection time the group of people including me made it to the gate a bit late. However the plane was still at the gate and did not leave for another 15 minutes. But they refused to take us on board saying t was too late, as a result: They sent us with the next flight to Chicago instead of Washington DC. My whole schedule was messed up as i had to fly through Chicago. My luggage was lost and i only received it 2 days later. Will file the complaint."

At Dulles Airport, I checked in at the Brussels Airline counter, only to be told that since I was on a flight operated by United, then I had to go to the United Airlines counter to check in. At UA, I was handed a boarding pass which advised that my seat will be assigned at the gate. I saw on the monitor where the available seats were-1 window, the remainder middle row. I got the feeling that since I bought a ticket which cost less than what the other United Airlines customers paid for, then I was being relegated to seats that the other travelers didn't desire."

Cons: "The plane operated from LV to Washington smelled like urine. Yak! The plane from Washington to Vienna: Food - nothing special. The new touch screan tv's are great to watch but terrible to feel. The person sitting behind me kept hitting buttons for 7 hours, so i didn't get any sleep at all. I was furious!!!! And exhauated. Will not fly with these airlines again nor will reccomend."

Cons: "UA flights always get delayed and this time I failed to catch my connecting flight to London. I was rescheduled to the flight in the morning of the second day. And when we were heading for London half way, the pilot said some sensors stopped working and we had to come back to Dulles. To be honest, I will never take UA flights anymore, it is just TERRIBLE!"

Pros: "Both flights were great! They left on time, the one from San Diego left earlier than scheduled. Kayak was most informative with flight info and upon arrival, indicating the bagage claim number via email!"

Why are airlines permited to give such low levels of service? Why are they allowed to charge extra fees for ordinary seats? And no complimentary entertainment. All that NOTHING" service and for very high fees.I got suckered into paying a lot extra for premium Economy. The Premium was the extra money they stole. The Economy was the new definition of bare bones."

Cons: "I didn't like everything. All my United flight were delayed, the international was cancelled after waiting for 7 hours of delays."

Cons: "I spent over 150 for an upgrade for a red eye for a flight I already spent over 500. Your crew lacked attention in service and one specific crew member (male) woke me up twice due to the loudness of his voice. Disappointed in the quality for the amount spent."

I was told my United that South African airlines doesn't have a "luggage contract" with ASky so my bags could not be tagged to my final destination. This is bizarre because Kayak didn't inform me of this when I bought my ticket otherwise I would never have bought that flight."

Cons: "Although I purchased my ticket more than four months prior, due to some complication or miscommunication between SAS and US Air, my seat had been filled and someone had to be "bought off the plane" with a voucher and better seat. If someone wouldn't have taken the offer, I would have missed all of my flight waiting on a new connection."

Pros: "The seat itself was comfortable but the leg room for my taller companion was a bit tight."
Cons: "It was a 5 hour flight and on the outgoing flight not even a snack was offered. On the return flight a very small bag of spicy pretzel bits was offered. When I went to get on the return flight I had a small sling purse, a small yarn bag (both hung on the same arm) and a bag of food for the lunch they wouldn't serve me. I was told I couldn't get on the flight with 3 bags, even though all 3 would fit under the seat. The free entertainment contained a grey box over part of the image reminding I could pay for more. Was only given a tiny glass of soda, I remember when they would give a can. I will consider another airline in the future."

Pros: "First overseas flight to Europe. Very impressed with everything with the flight. Comfortable, great crew, great food. Thank you!"

Cons: "Apparently, if you pay extra for carry on luggage and you have seats in rows two and three, you can’t use the overhead compartment, which then somewhat defeats the extra legroom you paid for when your carry on has to go under the seat ahead of you. And the flight attendant was rather rude in her insistence about where my luggage “couldn’t” go."

Cons: "I paid to be in group one. Got there a little late. 1 minute. They locked me out and rudely told me to go to the back of the long line Seat in 3rd roe and no recline ! Old plane no screen. Good bye frontier and frontier credit card . What a looser airline"

This flight was almost canceled all together due to mechanical problems but after long long delays, Frontier got me were I needed to go. Really liked being texted flight updates so I was aware of what was going on."

Cons: "You pay for carry on or checked bag and it's the same cost if you do it online. Wait to get to the counter to check a bag and prepare for the shaft! Nothing but water is free, not even soda pop. Basically, Frontier keeps getting worse and worse. I'll pay extra and travel Alaska Airlines whenever possible. They still treat you like a person rather than a piece of cargo, and you probably save money in the long run!"

Cons: "1 - couldn't understand boarding calls due to announcer using a gameshow host voice 2 - plastic bucket seats with seat like foam velcroed to bucket 3 - tray was so small a can of coke filled available space 4 - all food had to be paid for nothing complimentary 5 - no entertainment for a 3+ hour flight 6 - had to pay for carry on luggage 7 - we arrived 25 min early but then had to wait an hour at the baggage claim (could be Denver airport's fault) I summed it up as they call it Frontier Airlines as it feels like your taking part in the Oregon Trail and everyone dies of dysentery."

Pros: "It is so convenient and was a pleasure to get in and out. Pick up was a little crazy but still nicer than other airports."

Pros: "Frontier offered to re-book on "first" available flight which was Friday, 12/23, three days from original flight. Totally unacceptable, no offer for any compensation. Had to buy a last minute ticket on another airline at $550 per ticket for my daughter and myself total $1100. Luckily we are still getting home for Christmas, but no thanks to Frontier. Soon, in addition, to all the extra fees, frontier will start charging a fee for "guaranteed to get to your destination". Frontier flights are cheap, but they do not guarantee to get you to your destination in a reasonable amount of time."

We were going to carry on luggage but it was more expensive than checked luggage so we ended up checking luggage. Lower cost flight but by the time we paid for the seating and upgrades we could have gone with another airline. Even soft drinks were a charge. Nothing free here."

Also the flight crew should realize that just because we refuse to pay $1.99 for a soft drink doesn't mean we aren't thirsty. Water should've been offered more than one time. The seats are extremely uncomfortable and no option to recline doesn't make them better. Overall cheap price for a cheap airline I guess. I learned my lesson and won't be flying with you again."

Cons: "They charged $40 for a carry on bag! This was not disclosed on Kayak's price quote. The seats are literally as tight together as humanly possible - so much so the trays are only a out. 4" deep. Chairs don't lean back. Last time I'll ever fly Frontier under any circumstance."

Cons: "Got to Denver a half hour early. Frontier Operations didn't have a gate for us to park at and we sat on the Tarmac for OVER AN HOUR. Why wouldn't the pilot have radioed ahead to alert Operations that we were coming in early? Why didn't anyone apologize for our inconvenience? Pretty fed up with Frontier at this point."

Pros: "The safety of the flight, kindness of the attendants and the cleanliness of the plane."
Cons: "The hidden fees. I purchased a ticket not knowing that I would then have to pay for a seat! How ridiculous is that??? Did you expect I would hold on to a handle like on a subway??? If I purchase a ticket, I expect that to include a seat. Your ploy to attract people to purchase tickets, and then charge up the nose for even a seat as well as a carry on bag and peanuts, is not impressive. I will not purchase a ticket on Frontier again and I will definitely let my friends and family know that they will be paying just as much for Southwest if they do so. I'd rather know up front what the total charges will be. Very disappointed in this aspect of my purchase."

Cons: "We were delayed 3 and a half hours because of a water leak. Shouldn't that have been checked the plane the night before since we were the first flight out? Since we were delayed, they decided to give us breakfast vouchers (very nice) but they gave it to some people then not to others. When they finally decided to give them to the rest of us, we had 30 minutes before we had to board again! We could have been doing that with the 3 whole hours we had! I won't be flying frontier again, that's for sure!"

On return flight bag fee was $10 more, I asked why, holiday rate I was told. So my small, carefully and frugally packed bag cost $70 to fly. Irritating. No more Frontier for me. And they have the gall to put a wolf on plane tail, referred to as Virginia by the flight people.Such an insult to both the animal and the woman."
