Other airlines seemed to move their passengers thru quickly so it was a JetBlue issue not an airport issue. Also, my TV did not work and kept going blank every minute or less. I just gave up on using it. That seemed to be an isolated problem as I did not see this happening to anyone else."

We were suppose to arrive at our destination at twenty minutes after midnight, and instead did not arrive until 2:30 a.m. You felt like the pilot got on the plane when you did with no planning involved on how to get to Austin. I later learned that Jet Blue has the worst on time record of all the airlines. And you got nothing to compensate you for the inconvenience. I am really disappointed in Kayak for not making it known on our ticket that we were flying from New York to Austin on Jet Blue. When buying my tickets on Kayak, it appeared on my itinerary that all my flights were on Iceland Air. It was very confusing to me, as I don't travel very frequently. And airport staff is not very helpful when you are in this situation. Due to all the confusion, I will probably use another airline search tool for my next trip to see if I can lessen the confusion."

This has happened 3 out of the last 4 flights we booked with JetBlue. Thankfully, they didn't switch the equipment and our flight departed with a minor delay. We've learned not to fly JetBlue if we have a connection or really need to be somewhere at the time advertised."
Pros: "Early morning departure from Logan creates a lot of traffic at terminal C. Boston hasn’t quite worked out the best way to handle the popularity of JetBlue. New checkin procedures just built att term C are a bit confusing, passengers self tag their bags and drop off. Overall, be generous with the time you give yourself at Logan. JetBlue embrar 190 to Austin is a nice plane. Clean, pretty quiet. Extra space is a good upgrade. Overall no big negatives, great carrier, with good people running the flight, with great equipment. Passenger space is great in more space seats, and among the best in std seats. Arrival in Austin is simple, great little airport."

Eyemasks and earplugs are provided, which is ridiculous. I can easily pack those. Traveling with bulky pillows and blankets just to be able to sleep is crazy. No meals on Jetblue, even on international flights. All other airlines from US to LIma have meal service. No entertainment on international flights All other airlines from US have movies, games or free onboard WIFI. Seats have very little recline so your head falls forward if you try to relax. The headrest is not adjustable for height or side to side support. The benefit of having extra leg room is offset by the fact that you have to bring pillows, blankets, food and entertainment. The value is not there. The rates I paid were comparable to other US airlines flying the same route."

Certainly it is very hard to damaged a Samsonite ultralight (carbon fiber) and also certainly it is worth close to US 500. I am going to arrive to my final destination in Toronto with my claim and see what happened. I hope Avianca will honour me to either repair my luggage in Toronto or exchange it for another one similar."

First, flight was delayed until 2pm, then 4pm, 6:30pm and finally 8:15pm. They could have told us to leave and come back at 8pm.We were there since 8am and many passengers even earlier. I was with my 6 year old daughter. I got tired of requesting a charger for my cell to be able to use it for work reasons and they kept IGNORING me and would not even make the effort. Never again Avianca."

From now on I will always look forward for flying with Avianca."

I was a loyal customer for Continental but it ended when United took over. So far Avianca has replaced Continental in my list of airlines that I would consider. And KAYAK was awesome as always......"

Cons: "I'm writing this review in behalf of my mother, who had a nightmare in Lima, Peru. Avianca changed her flight without prior notice (email or phone). She is a 72 years old woman that had a stroke three years ago, can't be exposed to any stressful situation, she needed to take medication at 9:30am LIFETIME! They didn't asked if she had a health condition, they just decided to change her flight from the one at 10:00am to the one at 5:00pm. Maybe they would be able to guess it as she was so nervous, she showed worried and confused in the counter where they informed her the "news" during check-in process. She arrived 3 1/2 hours in advance to the airport in order to avoid flight stress. She doesn't have family in Lima, so they sent her to a nice hotel (but far), arrived at 10:15am so she took her medication late. Very stressful episode for me and my family after trying to contact her as the hotel didn't let her call us (Avianca said she would have an international courtesy call). My mother called a friend of mine informing her the situation, that is how I knew about this. She didn't ate correctly that day as her food has to be low sodium. They should have arranged her flight in a same group plane and avoid old persons (with conditions) wait 9 hours. There are no words to express my frustration as nobody could help me in Avianca customer service. They should have priorities and consideration for elder people as this kind of situations are harmful for them, their blood pressure and their hearts! CERO COMMON SENSE!"

However if you have had a very short night the only thing you want is to sleep a little bit in the plane. Because the chairs could not recline this became very difficult. I didn't like having to pay $2400 for a ticket when you dropped the price after the Paris incident & I found the same ticket would have cost me only $869. I should be reimbursed the difference. I also don't understand why we had to wait till 10:15 to sit inside the gate area. Directions for boarding should have been clearer."

The wait time at check in is extremely too long. I waited for two hours. I had 20 mins to make my flight after security and customs check.

My flight from Lima to La has been delay for 2 hours l has to run because l had a conecction from La to Phoenix of course the airport was a mess because it was under construcción. My coneccion was delay again for 45 minutes! Well l made it l guess! The landing was horrible!!

But the change cost of the ticket was the most offensive thing. I feel robbed, in a time of tragedy."

Cons: "I flew home on the LATAM600 Lima to LAX. My flight was suppose to leave noon on May 25. Unfortunately we were delayed until noon the following day, May 26. I understand these matters are out of attendant's control, but the changes were not communicated in English and everyone was extremely slow to get us situated. Our flight was officially canceled at 5:30 pm, and it took five more hours for the attendants to get us to a hotel. In the morning, the transportation was not communicated well that I missed the bus. During all this, they never tried to re-book anyone either. I would pass on flying LATAM in the future."

They said I would have to go back downstairs to the desk again. have a visible disability that affects the way I walk, and typically I do not require a wheelchair. I give myself enough time to get to my destination, but thanks to Brunella I was running incredibly late. I finally arrived though my flight was then rerouted to Orlando due to weather conditions at Miami and never arrived in Miami. The pilot of this flight LA2514 decided he was done and wouldn't fly there at all. The passengers were informed they would take buses to Miami."

Pros: "Despite having a high "Sapphire" status with this One World Partner and being promised "preferente" seats by the airline when I reserved seats months ago, I was unable to view the seats or check in online. Both their App and their online system were down and unavailable. We were never able to view our actual seats online. The "preferred seats" my group on 5 could not have been worse!! We were seated consistently in row 11 or the very last row of the aircraft immediately in front of the lavatory, where the seats do not recline at all and where you hear and smell the bathroom for the entire flight.. There was NO space to breathe in our seats. I have traveled on dozens of airlines and this experience and these seats were the WORST! After this happened once, I specifically asked to insure that it would not happen again and was told that seats on my next flights were good but they were the same horrible seats. Part of our itinerary was on LAN and part was on TAM, who have now combined into 1 airline, but still operate on separate systems. So LAN customer service could not see the seats for TAM flights and vice versa. Their online system reflected a changed time for our return flight from 145pm to 250pm from Rio. We verified it 3 times (even though we could not check in or view our seats because of "technical difficulties" we could see the new departure tie, and the change was confirmed by our Sheraton concierge, but when we arrived to the airport they informed us that we had arrived to late for our 145pm flight! We showed them the app that showed our flight was changed to 250pm and they could not explain the problem. We were delayed 4 hours and arrived too late for dinner in Santiago. The final 4 hour flight at 4am flight from Santiago to Lima was torture. The seat in front was literally 6 inches in front of my face when they reclined and I could not recline. It was absolute TORTURE! Avoid this airline! To add the agony, they have lost my bag and do not know where it is!"

Aeromexico staff needed to look into it to discover the gate had been moved. Not impressed with their internal communications. The flight departed about 40 minutes late. Not bad. The food was awful. When she did finally find us seats with barely enough time left to get to the gate to board, she had put two of us on stand-by for the connecting flight. There should have been no question about us having seats let alone being put on stand-by. We had booked this flight well in advance and had confirmation from the booking site and AeroMexico. When we got to Mexico City, they had already bumped the two on stand-by off our flight and put them on another flight the would leave 6 hours later that day. Again there was no possible justification for this, especially since the flight they should have been on with us was only 2/3 full. Although this was less of a nightmare that my 1st flight with AeroMexico had been, again the staff was unhelpful and purposely caused us inconvenience and delay for unacceptable reasons. I intend to never fly with AeroMexico and will tell everyone I know not to fly with them either."
