The plane should have been ready at least an hour early. If not, notify us if the delay then , not at scheduled boarding."

They lost our luggage even though the next flight we went on didn't leave until 45 minutes later. Our luggage finally arrived late that night and we got it the next day, albeit with about an hour of phone calls as they didn't give my phone number to the delivery service. I called the next morning in response to the voice message. The Southwest folks had trouble finding our ticket as they had put it under my girlfriend's name and entered my address incorrectly. I got the delivery service number and called them. I was told that they'd call me when the driver got in as we were staying at an AirBnb and it was a locked apartment building. They didn't call and I had to make two more calls to finally arrange to be at the apartment to obtain our luggage. So, all told we lost about 10 hours of our vacation having to deal with all of the above."

The previous crew served us beverages at least 2-3 times and carried water up and down. Coming from +90 degree weather everyone is thirsty. I bought food soon as I got on, I have a toddler.. it was delivered over 2 hrs later, luckily I came prepared with lots of snacks. Also there are no hot vegetarian meal purchase options on the flight to Mexcio/Costa Rica (which was the first leg of our trip) we had to make do with cheese/fruit platters."

Well, 6:30 passed and they had my bag but they couldn't tell me when it would be delivered and they use a third party company who they didn't have a contact number for or any answer as to when it would be delivered (I needed several things for work so it was a rush). Lastly, the lady I spoke to on the phone said it was my fault that I would not be there to receive the bag the following day as they did what they are supposed to. I was really surprised with how bad this customer service was as a whole. No communication and just nasty."

There were not enough people to staff the bars in the JFK terminal before our flight boarded. Waited 15 minutes for one bartender to return from break. At next bar, in front of gate #16 there was no bartender. After 15 minutes someone appeared, only to take orders and disappear. Finally got a drink at a restaurant, nearby, but they said the drink had to be consumed there, not taken in the plane. No alcohol was offered on the plane between JFK and Burlington. Baggage crew ripped the handle off my Rimowan luggage."

It was a plane full of first time flyers, with resulting chaos. And they kept their cool throughout."

But it sure makes it trying for people who are sharing the same cramped space. You don't realize that there's an art to being a good passenger until you see passengers who are unskilled at being passengers. I know this sounds very unkind, but it was a late flight."
Pros: "The check in line was a little long, but moved quickly. Then the unthinkable happened and we got wind of our friend passing just as we got to the front. The woman working at the counter felt so bad for us that she actually moved us into our own row so that we could have the space to grieve. We were also traveling with a dog so that in itself was so kind and accommodating."
Cons: "The ambient lighting used throughout the cabin was too bright and stimulating to let me fall asleep in an overnight flight, should have been dimmed more or turned off. The seats did not help the comfort levels either, should have been able to recline a tad bid more. The carry-on-bag situation is getting out of control, you should crack down on people who bring too many bags or oversized bags that should be checked in instead."

We were stuck behind 14 other planes in line to take off and I understand delays happen but the AC wasn't working for some reason and it was extremely hot. The passengers were all super uncomfortable. I wish if they knew we were going to be delayed that they would let us just wait at the gate vs. suffer in the sauna plane."
Pros: "Everything was pretty good like usual, except when we landed we sat on the runway for 45 minutes waiting for a gate as ours was occupied by a plane that was having mechanical issues. Not great."
Cons: "When I was transferred to Delta's website to book, the date was reset to 6 months in the future. It happened to be the same Monday the 26th so that's why I didn't notice. Delta refused to refund my money. This was a terrible experience and I plan not to use Kayak or Delta again!"
Cons: "Took 8 hours to get from Oakland to Los Angeles. Flight delayed then cancelled at Oakland. Driven from there to San Francisco. That flight delayed by 45 minutes. Got on board and then they neede 4 people to get off the plane since it was overweight. That took another hour. Bad day of travel."

Cons: "Had a 4 1/2 hour delay from Minneapolis to NY city. Which of course cause me to miss my flight to Europe. There was no attempt to find another flight that would get me there in time. By the time I got to NY it was close to Midnight, and the only hotel available was 40 mins away from the airport at an additional cost of $270 for the room and uber rides. No compensation even offered or provided for extra expenses they caused by us leaving so late. Thank you Sun Country for starting my vacation off so well."

When I chose my seat online, I was made to believe it was basically a full flight (only ~3 seats were available and they were all middle seats) so I spent $25 on an exit row seat. Once we boarded, it became apparent that there were a TON of open seats and I would have been able to get an aisle. Kind of sketchy for them to misrepresent the seating like that."

Also, you'd think after being delayed for that amount of time we'd get an apology or some "thanks for your patience" pretzels, but no. Drinks and snacks still come at a price. I won't be flying this airline ever again."

Really, it was such a fantastic experience!"
