Cons: "Copa check in is now at Terminal 3, but boarding is from Tom Bradley Inter'l Terminal. We did not see a regular "high placed" sign for Copa which caused us to make two circuits until we saw the street side sigm which is in a nondescript area and easy to miss. My entertainment touch screen was not responsive and sticky. It froze twice. However after bringing it to the attention of the crew, they did make the effort of resetting it. In this regard I highly commend the very tall FA who was a credit to his profession. It still had problems but did work somewhat. I will add that in all my prior experiences in which this problem occurs the FA's are too busy, or forget to reset the entertainment system, so I happy that he did. The interior did not seemed to be very clean there were food stains on the pull out tray and no in flight magazine in my seat pocket. the cabin crew was nice, youngish but did not have enough personality to tell off passengers doing things that they shouldn't out of common courtesy like the passenger seated next to me playing Chinese language videos out loud on his i phone. The same group spent a lot of time burping and then spending an inordinate length of time picking their teeth with wooden toothpicks which did not make for a pleasant scene. I almost lost my appetite seeing which what vigor they went at it, what were they expecting to find? They would then spit the residue in the air making me a bit nauseous. The food was dire especially the two melted cheese/beef/chicken sandwiches served near the last third of the trip. The main lunch ravioli meal served earlier was not bad. The bottom line is that the flight was uneventful with nothing to note, but there is definite room for improvement."

Multiple people stood in the aisle to use the restrooms (6-7) which meant they were in our faces (I thought the US limited how many people can stand in line on a plane post 9/11); people also got up and did not pay attention to seat belt signs throughout the flight and the crew did nothing. The film was the same one shown Southbound, not as listed in magazine. We were late taking off and late landing (the latter beyond the captain's control, don't know about why we were late to take off)."

Why do you (as an airline company) care how or when I am getting out of a country when the customs control itself doesn't care. If it's a rule for a country, let the country control it! This made for a lot of stress for us trying to get through check-in trying to "prove" we were leaving the country. Awful check-in process/rules. We were pretty worried about missing the flight in Panama City because that meant we missed our fight home. The crew was wonderful and changed our seats to the front of the plane so we wouldn't miss the flight. If he hadn't had done that, we 100% would have missed the flight .I will recommend Copa to everyone."

Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

Woman was very gracious and understanding that she was asking for an accommodation. Ends up her flight to Philly had been moved to a different gate after they had found a volunteer to switch seats. Volunteer was totally unfazed but Desk crew made it seem as tho the Muslim mom was at fault for the time and trouble they had had to go through to accommodate her. She apologized profusely and was very appreciative for the trouble evernote had gone to for her. . As she walked away the crew looked at each other and shook their heads. Pretty crummy way to treat customers!"

I was told to take it as a carry-on. I told them I thought it was too large. They disagreed. In any event, I took the package to security and was told it was too large! I am really disappointed in the service and am hoping this is not because American Airlines is now running US airways."

After that, we then had to stay in another hour and a half line to get through TSA. The whole time, we kept trying to explain to the different airport staff that we had a connecting flight that we needed to catch, however nothing was being done by any of the parties to ensure that we would make it to our connecting flight. All parties (Customs, TSA, & American Airlines) just kept trying to pass the blame to each other instead of helping us and were rude on top of that. The delays were out of our control causing us to not only miss our flight, but also caused us to have to spend more money to stay at a hotel in Phoenix since the next flight available was not until the morning. This situation has also caused both my husband and me to miss work, causing us to miss out on today's wages. This entire situation has been the worst airport experience we've ever had, and we've traveled all over the world. We usually fly with American Airlines, and would hate to have to go with another airline, but we would have to if this situation is not rectified, and if we are not compensated for all of the additional costs imposed on us."

The baggage fees are insanely expensive and the seats are so close together on the plane you feel like you are sitting in each others lap. Considering how many passengers they have on the plane and how much money they make show how horrible the baggage fees are because clearly they are making profit. Also, you can't even get water without paying for it. Everything here costs, this is why I will continue to fly with Southwest and I will never fly with this airline again."

The representatives @ Phoenix told us we wouldn't have ANY issues with our connecting flight to FLL as they would use the same aircraft When we landed Dallas, they told us our flight to FLL was waiting for us which was a complete LIE. The representatives at Dallas were disengaged and didn't seem to look for options to get us out of there,. Finally, a representative came and told us we had 2 options: OPTION 1: Stay in Dallas 31 HOURS!! and take the next flight to FLL (no hotel arrangements were offered) or take the next flight to Orlando and move ground to FLL. Very disappointed with your service. NEVER FLYING ON SPIRIT AGAIN"

Different high charges of baggage purchases from ticket purchase, before online check-in, counter check-in and at gate which could be surprises for many non season travelers as well as online travel agents do not seems to provide enough info and alerts of the different charges of baggages, etc. Also charges for at the counter check-in is an absolute no no for travelers who may not be internet or computer literate."

This was my first time flying on Spirit and I asked for a pillow and the response I received from the Flight Attendant was "What!....we don't have pillows" Another reason I was unhappy was because on my connecting flight from Texas to Chicago we were delayed on the plane and NOBODY told us what the problem was and why we were not moving to the runway. After 42 minutes we were told "we are waiting for paperwork from Maintenance" that is it! Not how long they expect the wait to be or come around and offer us some drinks or snacks. The Flight Attendants DID NOT even walk the aisle....not even once! We finally took off after 75 minute delay. It was if we were on the plane alone...this is not how I would have handled the situation. I also obtained the Spirit credit card to rack up some miles, but not I am giving it a second thought!"

Silly me, I didn't check the fine print-- Spirit charges to CARRY ON a bag. Both ways. The $30 I thought I saved was quickly erased when I ended up spending $90 to carry a duffel bag on the plane. All FOUR of my flights were delayed by nearly two hours. Seats were thin, sparsely padded, and cramped."
Pros: "The crew coming back had a sense of humor. Made it more enjoyable."
Cons: "Still think your luggage rates are outrageous. What I saved on flight the luggage check in rate made it more expensive. Probably won't use you again. Sorry, but money is tight. And charging the outrageoust rates for snacks. Shame on you."
Pros: "Flights were on time and smooth, crew was pleasant."
Cons: "A lot of extra cost with Spirit which you don't see when you book with sites like Kayak. Spirit charges for seats if you want to select one and charges for every bag, including carry ons."
Cons: "I got slammed with baggage fees because I booked through a 3rd Party. I tried to pay for my bags online before I came to the airport but their website wouldn't let me. This caused me to be up-charged 30% on my bag fees by having to check in at the airport!!! Another gentleman and his wife had the same issue when I was at the bag-check. I will never take spirit again."
Pros: "On the way back from Denver to Phoenix I did like the instructional Stewart he made it fun to listen to"
Cons: "The fact that you have to buy everything even just a soda or water. You had to pay $50 each Way for a check in baggage. I don't think I will fly Spirit again for those reasons. Had to pay extra for a requested seat. The list is too long."
Pros: "What did I like? Getting of your airline and being done with Spirit for forever. I won't ever use our recommend Spirit to ANYONE. Not even my worst enemy."
Cons: "I did not like having to pay for a carry on bag, a drink/snack that is normally complimentary on any other airline. I did not like the upset and annoyed attitude of your staff. I did not like the very uncomfortable seats. I did not like the woman next to me being told that she would just have to be cold because Spirit did not carry blankets even for a charge. Cons: "It was a complete JOKE! Spirit was delayed from Minneapolis to Phoenix because the Pilot over slept? Really? Delayed for 3 hours and that is unacceptable! From Phoenix to Minneapolis it was delayed 30 minutes and I missed my shuttle from Minneapolis to Eau Claire! I will NEVER fly Spirit again."

Pros: "The overall price was good - but you do get what you pay for. You do have to watch your carry-ons and weight of any checked bags. If you do your homework you'll be OK. Don't expect anything free - take a water bottle with you or snacks as they are not provided - again, cost cutting moves to save money. The crew was friendly and did handle a drunk guy accordingly."
Cons: "We had to make a travel change and got nailed. Ouch. Also, the seating is very tight, the seats do not recline so you felt very packed in. There is not a lot of leg room, so on both flights I felt the person's knees in back of me from time to time."
Cons: "Sitting in an airport for 12 hours and arriving home 14 hours late, sore and tired."
Pros: "I purchased an exit row seat for the additional leg room which was plenty. The seat itself was difficult for a 3 plus hour flight."

Cons: "Everything costs you. I had never flown Spirit before and didn't know what to expect. They have these strict measurements for carry on. My computer bag was a couple of inches too long, and i was paranoid of having to pay $100 at the gate, if I had to check it. Instead, paid $45, and no one even paid attention. Same went with my wife. Also paranoid about overweight baggage, which cost you extra over 40 lbs. i would rather pay more up front than stress aboit baggage, and pay for a window seat. Southwest has Spirit beat all around."

Cons: "The crew told us in the beginning that the toilet at the back of the plane was broken. It was a holiday weekend so I'm sure there wasn't just another plane sitting around to swap out for but it was really inconvenient and uncomfortable."

Cons: "On the first try, (last Monday) I didn't like the cancellation! On the second try, (last Wednesday) I didn't like the delay which would have made me miss my connecting flight! I missed work last week because of it. I had to get a refund and book another flight else where. I didn't make it home til this past Friday."
Pros: "The orange juice was great. I liked sitting in the big front. The lighting was good for reading my book which I did for the whole flight. The people I met on the plane were so interesting."
Cons: "I paid for a big front but was assigned a regular seat. The flight crew corrected my seating. In the future they said i should buy through the Spirit website."
Cons: "All Denver flights were cancelled so after talking with Spirit Airlines the first flight they could get me back to Denver was Dec. 20th which was 5 days later. Extremely poor customer service. I will never intentionally book a flight on Spirit every again."
Pros: "Everything about this airline is great!! People don't like reading the airline rules and then get surprised about stuff. They tell you everything and nothing is a scam. Super smooth and super friendly and they wait by the door to greet you and it's awesome!! 4th time flying and would do many more!!"

Pros: "If you are going just for a weekend and can fit everything in your backpack and laptop bag, then this is the airline for you. The seats do feel a little tighter that other airlines. On the redeye flight, the coach seating was a van bench with 3 seat belts which is strange, however no one was sitting next to me so I was quite comfortable."
Cons: "Low fare airlines attract a different kind of customer. Half are like the typical "Walmart" customer. If you can tolerate that, then the fare is worth it. Also, someone was passing silent gas all flight long. It turned out it might have been the service dog behind me. I am not sure but it was disgusting. I was burned in the past because of their baggage fees. As long as you can fit everything in a back pack, then this is the airline for you."

I had to pay 55. To check baggage so I could have my computer and purse with me as well. Not Sure I will fly with them again. The 110. Xtra for luggage brought the cost of the flight higher than United Airlines. Financial surprises when traveling cause ugly results !"
