The flight was safe.

Hi. I was shocked that there was no food served on the 6 hour flight from Boston to LA. And the seats are way too small. I’m not large and I felt like I couldn’t breathe. There wasn’t enough help, either.

Lost luggage. The Aeromexico Rep at the departures desk was mildly helpful. She told me the person I need to speak to was busy and that I should go downstairs and wait by McDonald's. She said i should sit, because it could take a long time. She didn't ask my name nor tell me who I should be waiting for. Just to wait. I had to ask for the persons name I should be waiting for and if she would be wearing a AM suit. I asked if there was a desk where she would be, and with an attitude the Rep, said "I already told, you just go wait by McDonald's". After waiting for an hour and asking every woman that walked by if they were Stephanie, I finally found her. She was walking by, clearly not looking for me. I had to follow her and stop her. If not she would have walked right by. Once we spoke, she was very helpful.

We got an upgrade to 1st class. However because it’s an older plane, 1st class was just recliner seats. This was an overnight flight, so anything helped. It would have been nicer to have seats lay further back in 1st class. We did not have food since we slept the whole way.

Due to the earthquakes, the film festival I was going to was cancelled. Ten days prior to the flight I called AeroMexico to cancel and they said there would be a cancellation penalty, which was fine. When I tried to redeem my credit, they said there was also an additional "No-show fee" even though I called to cancel 10 days prior, which left a total of $70 credit after all their penalties. I called and emailed to complain but they did nothing but pass me to someone else who was equally unhelpful. I will never fly AeroMexico for any reason in the future.

Aeromexico truly is the worst airline on the planet. I travel all the time and I am the type of person who never complains. Six months ago when I came to Mexico and my daughter’s fiancé died of a heart attack they gave me the worst service of my life. And now again today they’re completely 100% at fault for me missing my flight. I was seven hours at the airport waiting for the flight and they didn’t post it on the boards. They never put a gate up. Other people also missed the flight. They offered no compensation, they wouldn’t pay for a hotel or a shuttle, absolutely reprehensible. Do not do business with this company

Our flight got changed and we received no notification. Instead of 1 stop we ended up with two. Two flights were delayed therefore we missed the third one. Just a terrible experience. The staff was very rude, had no people skills, and didn’t know how to explain the situation.
