I had asked for a wheelchair but I had to hunt down someone and when I disenbarked, there was no one there to help me and I had to walk all the way up the ramp and could not breathe ,a few of the passengers were very upset because I could not catch my breath,they were more helpful than the airlines. The young lady who was supposed to help me did not show. A passenger started to push the wheel chair towards where I was supposed to be picked up by my son. Things were more organized in Portland,Oregon. The flight was very good.
Boarding area was a scrum, instead of a line. Audio selections are poor. The necessity or pre-ordering food is a hassle. Flight was delayed because of human error, not because of weather or mechanical issues.

I’d gladly have volunteered if asked, but they didn’t ask. This most recent flight, the beverage service was extremely slow - it took nearly an hour for them to get down to my relocated seat. By then, it was nearly time to land, so I barely had time to finish. I’ve noticed the cups are smaller now as well. I usually fly rather than drive for the holidays, I think I’m done with flying."
Pros: "There was one crew member who was super nice and had a smile who kept going around asking if anyone would like refills or anything. Also, I like that there were charging ports... even if I didn’t use them. And there was plenty of leg room. Lastly, there was a flamboyant crew member who was really nice as well. I liked him a lot."
Cons: "There was this one older stewardess with short blonde hair who had an attitude the whole time. While she was trying to do drink orders a man had spilled his drink so he asked her for a napkin. She rolled her eyes and gave it to him. I was in an isle seat and I got hit in the back with the cart and all she said was “get out of my way I’m coming through” and it actually really hurt. I got bumped by her another three times. And by no other crew member was I hit on my side. Maybe she was just having a bad day..... or maybe she didn’t like her job.... but it definitely showed."

The flight from SEA to PDX was tight with the smaller seats. My husband is a big man and if he had not been sitting next to me and been a man I did not know it would have been VERY uncomfortable. The flight from PDX to ONT was better with the seats but again we had no way to charge our devices and were asked to pay for the WiFi. Really??? In this day when EVERYONE uses them you are going to punish economy??? If you offer WiFi on the big ALaska planes then it should be offered on all of them. Not sure how hard it would be to wire in charge ports but someone should be working on that."

The cost is almost a wash with what Alaska is reimbursing me, but we'll see what I get refunded since their customer care department is closed on Sundays."

They offered us a shuttle to our gate since we were running late, and then the shuttle dropped us off on the completely opposite end of the airport. We literally had to sprint across the airport with 15 minutes until our plane left, and go through security our second time where the employees were rude and not even slightly helpful. While on the plane the crew was less than friendly and short with passengers. After we landed, someone from our group was also missing their bag and was informed it was left behind in Oregon and wasn't even loaded onto the plane. Seriously the worst airport, worst crew, and worst flying experience I've ever had."

Cons: "my original ticket had a tsa pre-check on it,when i tried to go thru security it would not read so i was told to go back to the counter to have it reprinted,mind you the lines to go thru screening were hundreds of people long that morning,so i did. the reprinted ticket did not have the tsa precheck on it but the ticketperson said it would be fine if i just showed the original. not what happened,i was sent all the way back to the end of general boarding and consequently nearly missed my flight. also there was zero air in the aircraft,it was stifling hot,smelly and miserable.and once again zero ackowledgement of any mvp gold statis of any kind. im starting to wonder whats the point anymore? you used to be alot more ......nice,i guess. and honestly how many very old wrinkled up senior citizens do you guys hire? i dont feel like most of the crew would really be able to handle any type of crisis if there was one. sorry ,i used to be very happy with you and now have been taking Delta more often."

Cons: "A woman thought she had my seat. She said "I am 29A" and so I quickly got the steward so we could resolve the complication. It turned out she read 29A on her itinerary only it was for an earlier leg of the trip. Instead of understanding her accidental oversight, the steward said to us both, "you have 29C and you 29A whats the problem?" I understand he was busy, only 2 passengers booked for the same seat would cause a problem on a full flight. He should have understood her accidental self-seat assignment change because she read the seat from the earlier flight. She and I weren't trying to have issues, we just wanted to sort out what we thought was an overlap in seat assignments."
Pros: "The crew were even more friendly and chatted with me, the flight was more empty so I had an entire row to myself and was able to sit near the lavatory. I was ablessed to watch "Hidden Figures" during the flight, a movie I had been anxious to watch but had not had the time. And the coffee was delicious! Whenever I make my own travel arrangements I always fly with Alaska!"

Cons: "Flight was delayed from GEG -> PDX Before departure, the pilot announced that the flight would be "very bumpy" and so they weren't going to have drink service at all and the flight attendants would stay seated for the duration of the flight. This made me very nervous for the whole flight. However, it was hardly bumpy at all. I arrived tired from getting all worked up over nothing. On the way back to Spokane, the pilot announced before departure that the takeoff and landing would be bumpy, but once we got up to altitude it would be smooth. The reality was totally the opposite. During takeoff it was quite smooth, but then there was so much turbulence at cruising altitude that the pilot came on to say they were cancelling the beverage service halfway through for safety reasons. And then it smoothed out before landing. I thought it was a bad experience on both counts. Why even bother making a prediction about flight conditions if they are so changeable? It only sets people's expectations and then they are disappointed or unsettled."
Pros: "While flying to Portland from Maui, our next flight was cancelled. No one notified us of this while on the plane or as we exited the plane. My mom found out while I was in the bathroom. She talked to the person at the gate we had just arrived at. She told us we were rerouted to a better flight and told us to go to a specific gate. When we arrived at the gate, Rainy (your employee) explained the situation again calmly, printed our boarding passes, told us we had an hour to catch a bite and worked on seating us together on the plane (I am traveling with a child). When we came back to the gate to board, she had taken care of our seating issue and was very nice. If you are going to cancel a flight on a customer, this is exactly how it should be handled. Better flight, better time, calm and helpful staff. This was the most enjoyable flight of our trip. Nice size plane and great staff. Just maybe need to notify the on board stewardess, she doesn't need to project or yell to be heard for the courtesy of those who have been traveling all night."
Cons: "Knowing that we got very little rest on the overnight flight, I was looking forward to a good nap on this flight. I was getting it until the airline assistant decided to have a very loud, very long conversation with a passenger. I could barely hear the passenger, but the employee was speaking as if on stage at an ampitheater! I know where she use to work, how she became a stewardess, how many cities she has worked from, how many days she has off, and again how many cities she has been to, AT VERY LOUD LEVELS!"
Pros: "You know, the plane was crowded, it was a puddle jumper, but I was seated with another woman of a certain age who was so in sync with my joys, concerns for our world, fears for our kids, grands and greats, but hopeful that all will turn out. We were so immersed in our conversation the trip felt like 5 minutes long. Neither of us were skinny miniies and cramped in those 'child-sized' seats made no difference, we so enjoyed our visit. When disembarking, there was a male attendant who said, and I paraphrase: This plane has exits both in front and in the back, you may choose whichever one you choose, but if exiting from the rear door, please be careful (and in light of our destination, I must caution you to DUCK.' Well, Eugene, OR? Ensued chuckles, Go Ducks! and much tittering. I complimented him on his sense of humor and myself said "Alaska Rocks!". Just sayin.... Lynne Ledingham, Alaska flight 2081G"

Seems they can anticipate these issues in advance a little better and be more efficient in resolving them as this is what they do on a daily basis. Once plane available, no crew was available. What happened to our original crew? Attendants @ the desk would mumble "updates" in the overhead phone which were inaudible, prompting passengers to constantly approach the desk to ask about flight status. The whole process seemed unprofessional."

Cons: "No "back of seat" TV's. You were given the option to rent a tablrt for the flight but even when doing that, they reclaim it 30-45 minutes before the end of the flight. On a cross-country, non-stop long flight it would be nice to have the TV's at all seats. Also, with the rented tablet, I was unable to track where we were or follow our progress (as we can with the in-seat TV's). Lastly, on a long-flight, they should have been better stocked. During their second trip to offer food for purchase they were sold out of many items - very limited options at that point."
Pros: "Terrible that I had to carry my carry on down the stairs to plane, lucky it wasn't raining, & then up a flight of stairs to plane with a torn rotator cuff. I felt like I was flying in the 70's. Coming back, a bald headed attendant was very rude. I did not get any refreshments on the way to Portland which they said was a rough ride but ride was smooth. That was ok, that didn't matter if our safety was involved. Also $25 for one bag is a lot to carry hair spray or a few things you can't carry on."

Pros: "The flight to Seattle was seriously delayed but I was able to make my connecting flight to DC."
Cons: "The crew was not very good at updating the worried customers about their connecting flight status considering that there was a 55 minute delay. I was the last person to board and I made it to the gate in the nick of time. It was really stressful. On my way to PDX I used SW and I had a connecting flight in Denver. However the pilot was very good about giving us an update and assuring that we will get there on time. I felt reassured that SW cared for its passengers and was trying to alleviate our stress."

Cons: "The crew miscounted the passengers on 3 occasions forcing them to come row by row to confirm our last names twice. This delay caused us to almost miss our window to get to Seattle (which was already delayed by almost 2 hours). Luckily we had a 3 1/2 hour layover or we would have missed our only connection. There was also a communication breakdown between our crew and Seattle, almost causing us to deplane...luckily avoided at the last minute when Seattle changed their minds...ugh. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL."

Nothing! everything could have been better. again, the tsa workers were horrible. They had bad attitudes, cursing passengers and a general LACK of professionalism. In my future travels, I will not be transitioning through london, and none of my future travel plans will include london. If there agenda was to prevent Americans from visiting there, they succeded.

The crew were nice enough but disinterested in serving us and were annoyed when I asked for a few crackers or bread to help with a stomach ache. Never got any. I had to get up several times to ask for water. Comfort was ok and plane was warm enough. There was several people who came and sat down next to me in the open seat, 6 or 7 different people who left their own seats elsewhere on the plane and came to sit next to me in the open seat. One woman brought her child over, asked me to love another seat over, so her child could lay down and put his feet in my lap. Then, when Inledt for the ladies room, she left him there to kick the seat in front of him and throw his tuna fish sandwich pieces on me and on the floor. I never agreed to play nanny to her child and after I'd paid $750 for a one way ticket from TPA to AMS, I didn't think I should have to. The mother gave me an earful of her bad language when I asked her to take care of her own child and take him and his fishy tuna sandwich back to his own designated seat. I had asked a male flight attendant to handle the situation, neither he nor the other staff, who stood by, cared that it was disturbing me, or that the other passengers were playing musical chairs with empty seats all night. I have flown British Air more than 100 times in my life. For 35 years it was my go to airline for step up in quality, service and class. This time I could have flown several other airlines that would have been $379, $400, 547, 650 for the same flight TPA to London Gatwick then AMS, instead I opted to pay a little more and thought I'd get a little more. Not any more on British Air. Other passengers on the flight were rested when they arrived. Not me, I was tired and disappointed and kicking myself for paying more to fly British Air. This is sadly understandable, as all quality is down with alot of airlines. But it's particularly disappointing that I'm saying that about British Air after all these years. I have only complained one time to an airline over 30 years. This will be my second time. I plan to send this complaint to British Air and ask for a refund."

I usually fly Virgin, but for some reason this was cheaper this time - I will never fly BA/Open Skies again."

The flight was pretty old by itself. Not like the ones that go from London to United States. The Seats were smaller and had a very uneasy contour, the entire plane just looked a little banged up. The crew always seemed in a rush, to busy to even hear or look around."

I dreaded the flight. I was pleasantly surprised how nice the passengers and employees were. After watching the news I expected bedlam and rude people. Everyone everywhere wore masks without hesitation. There were no problems.
This was not a direct route, so it took longer than it should. Connecting in Minneapolis or Chicago would have made better sense than Dallas.
Cons: "Flight was delayed due to weather. That is understandable. However the crew was not helpful in sharing any information with customers about changes to connecting flights. Much time was wasted and I had to reschedule my flight. The staff members that booked my hotel and my new flight were short and brief and not very helpful or accommodating or informative. Overall I didn’t not feel like a welcomed guest and I do not feel enough compensation was offered for such an inconvenience. Not being able to have my bag overnight was a hassle. I had no clean clothes and had to throw out my contacts because I had no solution. I also couldn’t use the meal voucher they gave me because everywhere in the airport was closed by that time. No stipend was given for toiletries or food delivery. Very unimpressed."

They sat there and watched me for an hour not telling me I could not use cash to check in my luggage at the gate after they told me it was double the amount to check it in at the gate. The sight u use on the boarding pass u download on the phone is not clear. It says baggage fee +$25.00. I thought it was 25.00 till the women in Phoenix showed me the + sign. She said “it is confusing”. I did not buy the ticket because it was for an unexpected funeral of my sister. My other sister did so I didn’t see all the stuff from Travelocity. After telling me it would be $50.00 the check in male and female at the gate saw me sitting there for an hour and never told me I couldn’t pay cash. By the time it was boarding time if a nice woman did not offer to use her credit card and I have her the $50 cash I would have missed my flight. The manager at the gate in Portland even told me I would miss my flight. The two check in staff at the gate said “well we didn’t know you only had cash” and they weren’t even concerned that I was going to miss my flight. It would of been nice of them to tell me this when I sat there for an hour after they told me They we’re doubling the price. I would of had time to go back through security, only pay $25.00 and the other nice passenger would have not had to use her credit card. Very rude and poor service especially after a sad occasion of burying your sister!"

Cons: "We were not able to print our boarding passes the day before as expected per the website and purchase docs for the tickets, despite providing passport numbers (several times) and Global Entry registrations. Had to go to a ticket desk at first departure and third departure points to have them printed, with no explanations given. Also not allowed to choose our seats for the third leg. Food was barely edible. Paid extra for roomier seats on one leg, making it more comfortable, but were extremely tight on another leg which had many empty seats scattered throughout the cabin. Cabin attendants seemed more interested in pushing items that generated revenue than providing the ones that came with the ticket (which is never cheap to begin with)."

Cons: "Due to mechanical issues our 8am flight kept getting delayed in 30 minute increments until around 9:45 when the front desk attendants told us the necessary part had to be driven from Seattle and wouldn't be available until noon, and that their was no certainty the part would work, and that we should make other arrangements. So we did, but their earliest we could get us into Chicago was 9:30pm (original arrival was 2pm). We booked the arrangements only to find out that our original flight took off at 10:55 and American didn't even attempt to contact us. The cherry on top was that our flight (which was indirect through SFO) got delayed and we're now going to miss our connection in SFO. So currently looking at 10:30pm arrival in Chicago."

On this particular flight it was the very rude asian flight attendant that really set the mood. The attitude of the staff really makes or breaks the experience and it seems like American Airlines doesnt care about the quality of thier employees"

Instead of making an effort for several passangers to catch the flight from Guadalajara to Fresno (also ran by Volaris) they would not let us board the Fresno flight; even though the gate was still open and the last passengers were boarding. Instead, Volaris sent me to Los Angeles (they gave me the option of flying to Fresno, but 5 days later. I don't live in Guadalajara and that was not my final destination). In Los Angeles, I had to take a cab from the LAX to the Bus Station, take the bus to Fresno (spend all night on the bus) and take a cab to the Fresno airport to pick up my automobile. Thank you Volaris . . . great job!"
Cons: "There were four gate changes. My husband was in a wheelchair and we were running back-and-forth trying to keep up with the changes. They don’t even give you water on the flight. If there is no food OK. But there should be water. The whole thing reminded me of traveling on a second class bus. Won’t do it again"

Then get an e-mail at 1:45 am the day of my flight which was scheduled for 7 am that the pricing value was incorrect and my booking was canceled. I flew from New York to California where I was going to get a connecting flight the next day but my connecting flight purchase was terminated. I have never experienced this and I was left stranded and unable to get to my destination. I had transportation waiting for me and I had to find out the morning of my flight. All I got was an e-mail stating they tried to reach me but that was a LIE because I did not receive any phone calls. The flight I booked was booked right away so no time elapsed for the price to go up. When I called to complain to the company they were unable to help me and no supervisor or manager was available. I was told to call back in 3 hours for someone to assist me but that I was not going to be able to get on my flight because now, the morning of my flight the price was $200 more then what was advertised when booking. This is unacceptable and unprofessional."
