Cons: "Shady business practices, to change a flight there is a 125.00 charge. Unethical and I will never fly with them again. Many other options, including driving or Amtrak. Most airlines suck, Alaska is another crappy, money-hungry airline."

Cons: "For my first time flying with them, you would hope that your luggage makes it to your final destination. Since it didn’t, many plans in Hancock had to be rearranged and my ride has to rearrange her schedule. Not to mention, I had to rearrange my schedule again just to pick it up at the airport the next day."
Pros: "I enjoyed what felt like more room, especially since the flight was relatively empty and the lovely crew who seemed to be in very good spirits."
Cons: "I wish that there was food included in the price of the ticket and that there would be screens for viewing on the back of seats like with other companies. I find this to be a nice perk for flights longer than 3 hours."

Cons: "Our luggage was lost upon our return trip. While helpful, they didn't automatically offer a customer service gesture discount without request. This was mentioned upon disembarking from the jet. However, the claim attendant did not mention it at customer service to my wife. I had to go and mention what was stated by the flight attendant. While waiting again in line, I observed that the customer service person did not mention it to the two families in front of me."
Pros: "When flight was delayed for better than two hours with mechanical problems, they allowed us off the plane, kept us briefed, made up some of the time in the air, provided free drinks and discounts on subsequent flights. If you can't be perfect, they displayed an exemplary response when things went wrong."

Pros: "They were helpful and polite while boarding and flying. They even give you a complimentary glass of wine or beer on board. All in all my experience was extremely pleasant. They have been much better than my experience last week with united. I would very much recommend Alaska if you have the option."

Cons: "Because if weather, were were placed into a holding pattern, then rerouted to Ontario, where we were refueled and then flown back to San Diego. Very little information was passed along. The crew began to get short and frustrated with the passengers."

Pros: "The crew were even more friendly and chatted with me, the flight was more empty so I had an entire row to myself and was able to sit near the lavatory. I was ablessed to watch "Hidden Figures" during the flight, a movie I had been anxious to watch but had not had the time. And the coffee was delicious! Whenever I make my own travel arrangements I always fly with Alaska!"

They didn't have beverage service and announced, " with the tailwind and the bumps we've decided there's no time for the beverage service ". The flight took the same as usually and the bumps we hit were on decent and the service would have been completed by then.... Horizon is lame, they give the Alaska Airlines name a black eye!"

This delay caused us to almost miss our window to get to Seattle (which was already delayed by almost 2 hours). Luckily we had a 3 1/2 hour layover or we would have missed our only connection. There was also a communication breakdown between our crew and Seattle, almost causing us to deplane...luckily avoided at the last minute when Seattle changed their minds...ugh. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL."

Pros: "I boooked through Kayak based on recommendations fron Rick Steves. When I tried to check in the night before, I was told I wasn't on the flights I had booked. Turns out SAS had switched me to a later flight without any notice. It took hours on the night I was readying yo leave for a three-week trip to find out what had happened. At best, I would have found out the next day at the airport and waited an extra three hours. Not the big fun! At worst, who knows? Would someone have been able to figure it out in time? Huge run-around!"

STRANDED AT AIRPORT TIL AFTER 9 PM, when hotel shuttle could come get me! Missed seeing my mother, who is in a Skilled Nursing Facility here -- THE ENTIRE REASON FOR MY TRIP! And now I can't see her this morning either, because I have to take the hotel shuttle BACK TO THE AIRPORT to pick up the rental car that I PAID IN ADVANCE TO RESERVE BEGINNING YESTERDAY!!!"

Cons: "I had a connection flight to San Francisco and then from there to Honolulu and the flight from Portland to SF got delayed 5 times to up to 4 hours late so I would've missed my second flight from SF to HNL. They couldn't do anything about it so they put me on the next available flight, the next MORNING. So I had to go spend a night in a hotel which I had to pay for and wait for the next flight in the morning the next day. Next day the flight got delayed yet again this time little over 2 hours. So I would've missed the flight from San Francisco do Honolulu yet again. This time they managed to find a little later flight and put me on that but still had to wait at the airports for over 8 hours. Super mad about how United works... Had problems with my boss as well because I was supposed to work the next day but they rescheduled my flight for that day. Really not a pleasant experience..."
