I would love it if Alaska Airlines brought back the complimentary beverage service on short flights

the flight was fine, But I paid extra for an Aisle seat both planes and did not get what I paid for when you pay an extra almost $80 and do not get the desired seats it was frustrating I don't fly much because of my legs need more room. thank you for your attention to this

Our seat assignments were mysteriously changed such that our boarding was delayed when they tried to fix it, but to no avail. It took more than 15 min. before we sat down. Then the catering delayed our plane for 35 min.

We missed the flight. I had a passport issue and told the check in desk that I’m trying to resolve it but when I got approved for entry to USA at 3:32, one hour before departure, the employees had left the desk at 3:30. I tried calling and texting the numbers on the sign. No luck. Waited till the agents came back and couldn’t get a flight to our destination or close, so we flew to Las Vegas instead and drove 6 hrs to San Diego where I missed one night’s stay and the car rental that was reserved there. Extra car rental and hotel in Las Vegas was over $300. Lost tine and money. I wanted to extend the trip by two days but the $1600 SAVER fare wouldn’t let me make changes. Hours on the phone to find out there are no exceptions and no credit if cancelled in advance. Very disappointed. My son’s first vacation with me in 17 years. Wasted a lot of money. Next time I will use a local travel agent.

Boarding was late with no communication. Flight was over an hour late with virtually no communication or updates. The app showed we had departed and were scheduled to arrive on time even though we sat on the tarmac for nearly an hour. People who were using the app to track our progress to pick us up were given erroneous information. Flight attendant was snooty when asked why app was showing us as delayed and arriving on time even though we had not left and ultimate’s not leave for over an hour. Just poor and arrogant.

My luggage was lost and doesn’t appear to be arrived any time soon.

Check in was a nightmare. We had about 15 people ahead of us but were in line for 45 minutes for priority passengers. Two people were checking in dogs and it took them forever. They even took the dogs out of the kennels to weigh them separately. Crazy! Then when we reached the front of the check in line we were told they couldn’t check us in because we were too early. Had to wait 19 minutes to check in and then check ourselves in and get back in line to drop our bags. This was first class! If I can avoid it I will never fly Alaska again. I sure didn’t get what I paid for.

It would have Bern better if the flight was on time.

It was fine… I guess. The flight was delayed and we sat on the tarmac for some time. I was late to my meeting. There was no food or snack served in first class, only drinks. It was pretty mediocre.

It was pretty straight forward, no glitches or hidden costs

The whole plane smelled and felt old. The seats were very uncomfortable. Multiple delays. Extra fees.

For goodness sake, board from the back of the plane to the front and assign overhead space. It would fix everything. Seriously.

Aircraft had technical issues. After 3 hours of trying to resolve, flight was cancelled. Was booked on a flight leaving 12 hours after intended departure. Now on 4 flights instead of 2 and a day late to my destination.

PDX staff was great and we arrived on time in YVR.

Horrible I had a health emergency and couldn’t go Air Canada refused to allow me to reschedule

Really poor travel experience. My first flight was cancelled, which cut my international trip short and threw off my schedule. I will not be flying Air Canada again if I can so help it. The crew and in-flight experience was pleasant and enjoyable but the consistent delays and cancellations are not worth it.

Economy middle seat was so narrow that I could not sit back comfortably with passengers on either side of me. Over the 9-hour flight, with my body slightly twisted most of that time, my previously-healthy left knee became very painful, even though I got up to walk multiple times. The knee is still painful 3 weeks later. Otherwise, it was a nice flight, but I was crippled over my entire vacation.

The staff were condescending and withheld at times. There were times when they appeared to be more concerned with socializing with each other than appearing professional. I know it must be a hard job, but being chatty and handsy with each other in the public view only to be condescending to customers isn’t a good look.

No entertainment what’s so ever so you may want to prepare yourself. Our flight was delayed.
