Cons: Flight was delayed causing the connection impossible. Delta provides no way to communicate directly with a human making rebooking impossible. The lack of care destroyed our family reunion.
Cons: Not losing my bag on a direct flight
Pros: Trip was ok
Cons: The flight was delayed 1 hour
Pros: Professional crew, no fanfare, standard was excellence.
Cons: Faster flight time in air...
Pros: The screens, quality, travel, attendants
Cons: The exit row door in 12B kept making a high pitch squealing noise...very unnerving
Pros: Flight experience was good
Cons: Delayed bording 1.5 hours due to staffing issues
Pros: The crew was nice.
Cons: Having cocktails available on-board
Cons: Boarding announcements were hardly audible. We chose comfort seats for extra payment but that still did not turn out to be comfort class. Seat classes are confusing. No temperature was taken before boarding.
Cons: The wheel to my luggage broke off in deltas care so if that could have not happened it would have been way better.
Cons: Everything was great and went smoothly.
Cons: Love delta. Everything was excellent
Pros: Crew was very nice and accommodating
Cons: Food service
Pros: Great crew
Pros: Clear announcements, nicely stated mask rem8nders, center seats open
Pros: Very clean, kind w mask instructions, like boarding back to front
Pros: I liked the fact I was put into a quality seat after I had booked a normal economy seat. Nice upgrade. I got lots of leg room.
Cons: The flight was delayed because of a maintenance issue. We made up some of the time, but it was an issue.
Pros: I love that the plane has extra space available between seats (with no one in the middle) & that everyone was encouraged to keep their mask on at all times.
Pros: Crew was wonderful
Cons: This COVID to be over
Cons: Comfier seats
Pros: Sanitized, open middle seats, comfortable
Cons: We were stuck on the tarmac for 40+ minutes due to our gate being blocked by another plane. We almost missed our connection and had to run through the airport with our luggage and the staff at our second gate yelling “hurry up” at us like it was our fault.
Pros: Seat size
Cons: Everything was just fine
Cons: We had a 2.5 hour delay because there was someone missing in the crew. It sounded like it hadn’t been properly planned for the flight so it was frustrating. However, once that person showed up, everything was great and the crew was very sweet
Pros: Covid safety protocols and people following was excellent.
Cons: Serve alcohol :)
Pros: One flight attendant was adamant about a passenger across from me, covering his nose AND mouth during the flight and constantly checked to make sure he was following the rules.
Cons: The safety instructions portion of the flight was not thorough. They just held up the large card and stood there. No true demonstration which was important to me as I was sitting in the emergency exit row.
Pros: As expected of Delta. With Covid, even the food service understandably was limited. They had prepackaged goodies, albeit not much flexibility, but I had no complaints. Mid row was empty per Covid, for flight comfort, this was somewhat a plus. Knowing air was filtered with HEPA filters every 2 minutes with fresh oxygen and outside air mix was also reassuring.
Pros: Great crew and friendly
Pros: Everything was amazing
Cons: Nothing really.
Cons: Well if my future father in law was on the flight it would have been wonderful, but he passed away July 7th, and I did get refunded, and we are mourning his loss and keep getting notifications about the flight and emails which makes it very difficult mentally. So it would be nice if Delta would get their process of refunds especially when it's a death to maybe not get notified. I was the one that purchased the tickets for him in April.
Pros: Crew great....moved passengers around near us for Covid related separation.
Cons: Cramped.....too many seats in too small of a plane....I'm 6ft / 190 lbs
Pros: Crew was very attentive. I appreciated the extra spacing between passengers.
Cons: I would have liked to see alcohol served.
Pros: Crew was night seat sucked plane was cramped
Pros: Empty middle seat; disinfectant wipes. I know these measures were implemented because of COVID but I wouldn’t mind having these last past the pandemic!
Cons: Good for now
Cons: There should not be a pay wall around the internet in today's day and age
Pros: The plane was very new everything was good
Cons: Nothing considering the situation
Cons: The food service on the 3 hour leg but we knew that ahead of time so...
Cons: Best option across the pond, amazing upgrade prices
Pros: It was horrible. Delta really should have cancelled and refunded the flight altogether.
Pros: The entertainment was good.
Cons: The check in and boarding process in Incheon was terrible! My flight ticket was printed and had the wrong name, which the agent at the check in desk did not catch. It was not until I went to the security line when they found a mismatched name. I was asked to go through security THREE TIMES. And then at the gate, I was supposedly "randomly selected" for ANOTHER swab/swipe security check. The flight itself was uncomfortable. There are not enough bathrooms for the number of people seated on the flight. The entertainment was the only excellent and recommendable thing about this delta flight.
Pros: Overall experience was awesome. Always love to fly delta. Nice spacious and clean aircraft. Enjoyed the entertainment system.
Pros: The KLM ground staff were extremely helpful and reassuring when there was confusion with my ticket.
Cons: I booked KLM flights (Cork - Tampa return) but the planes were in fact Aer Lingus and Delta. So I have no idea what KLM is like. When I checked in at Cork the ground staff could only give me a boarding card for the first flight. For the second one she said I would have to go to the Delta counter in Amsterdam. It was difficult to find a counter there or staff as check-in was all by computer. The computer kept saying 'error' when I put in my code. I eventually was directed to a KLM desk (nicely hidden). I was told that my seat no longer existed. At this point the flight was ready to board. Thankfully the KLM ground staff were extremely helpful and reassuring and upgraded my ticket to economy comfort. On the way back, I could only get a boarding card for my first flight. The second two I had to collect at the boarding gate of the second flight.
Cons: Dutch sub titels on fims would be good
Pros: Not applied
Cons: Not applied
Pros: 1. Smooth flight itself and informed by captain well on expected time of arrival with frequent updates
Cons: 1. I already had a tight connection and let the flight attendant know that I was concerned due to the delay. She seemed very laissez faire and there was no information about the connections gate overhead or when I got off the plane. I think that if the flight is delayed, the airline should let passengers know where the close connection gate assignments are to save them time (my flight landed ten minutes after my connection was boarding). 2. The carry on luggage section was impossibly small so I had to gatecheck my bag and it took five minutes to get my bag back. Given the tight connection, this created additional anxiety.
Pros: Same as above.
Pros: Couldn’t find a thing.
Cons: My husband booked West Jet by phone. They spelled my name wrong on the ticket which caused hours of delays tryng to check in...ultimately leading to our missing the flight. The time spent was around 6 hours....4 of them the were on one continuous phone call where we were bumped back and forth between West Jet and Delta. The problem was never fixed and we haven’t flown home yet. We have new flights booked on Delta but only because Delta took pity....West Jet does no refunds or reticketing. If flights are missed you're out on of luck!
Pros: All excellent
Cons: Snacks without caffeine
Pros: Crew was good
Cons: Montreal airport was awful
Cons: I was delayed a few houts.they could let me fly earlier.
Pros: not much, not even close to the service and comfort I am used to flying.
Cons: Keep planes in working order
Cons: Service is awful, they cancelled a flight and they reserved the wrong flight so we couldn't get to the destination. Had to change airline and extend our flight by 9 hours with our baby. Horrrrrrible experience. Staff didn't seem to care. They put everything on their supervisor and she tried to help
Cons: After landing, we were waiting on the tarmac for sometime and I needed to use the restroom I was an allowed to do so. It would’ve taken me a short short time. I went to The rear of the plane to use the restroom and was told to get in my seat.
Pros: The food
Cons: The staff insisted on putting bags underneath seats for a 13 hours flight...
Pros: Getting home
Cons: Leaving Montreal
Cons: Small plane
Pros: I slept throughout the flight
Pros: I liked the price for my flight however I booked using my AirMiles.
Cons: I have travel with WestJet many times is the past and had nothing but good to say. This was my first time using WestJet Encore and was totally shocked and disappointed. The flight crew i found to be very rude with and had an attitude. The biggest shock was the greetings and all announcements were in English accept the safety rules where the pre-recorded tape was played. If asked about the return flight from Halifax to Montreal, one word to describe it "disaster". I was totally turned off with WestJet. I will for sure continue using Porter as I was always pleased with there service. As they say "you get what you pay for".
Pros: Westjet team is fast, nice and solve issues in one call. I have had very good experiences with westjet! Thank you!
Cons: Today in Montreal during boarding the lady coordinating did not give priority to people with children. We were at leastthree families - we were all upset with the situation. However as I have had very good experiences with west jet I consider this an isolated issue.
Pros: Friendly crew
Cons: No entertainment and bag charge.
Pros: We were late getting to YUL because of traffic, and a West Jet employee went above and beyond to make sure we made it on our flight even though we missed the cut-off time.
Cons: They tried for force us to pay for a different ticket because we had gotten a cheap initial ticket!
Pros: The service of the crew was fantastic.
Cons: No food included just water and Coke.
Pros: entertainment is good
Cons: im just sitting before the restroom (seat 29 C)im realy tall and the people pushing onmy seat all the time and bang my arm and the smell is realy bad and i see to much but in face for long long time because the people waiting on my place .. another bad im telling the crew and the girl she said my only option is wake the girl just beside me for asking to change the seat ...i refuse because SHE SLEEPING ! realy not happy sorry !
Pros: I love flying in a smaller plane. They are usually not full in the morning and so it gave me a lot of space to relax and enjoy the flight from montreal to toronto. The crew was really nice and smilling and they made sure that my pet and I had everything we needed.
Cons: The seats are pretty thin and uncomfortable. There is no wifi or television on board.
Pros: Very friendly
Cons: Flight was cancelled then rescheduled on a flight that was over an hour delayed. We almost lost our connection to Hong Kong as a result. Made for a very stressful journey with 77 year old parent and 8 years old child long waiting/ tiring time and running to gate our flight.
Pros: The seats were vinyl, not fabric - I prefer vinyl. It feels 'cleaner'.
Cons: 1.I did not like the flight crew announcing how great they (the crew) were at the start of announcements before take-off ---- If you are great, don't tell us, act like it - I found both crew members hardly engaging, one was sullen. 2. PA system was a little hard to understand anyway. Crew member should have put volume up and made sure was loud enough , but just seemed like wanted to use a 'cute' half french/half english accent to speak in. 3. Also this flight 3535 on Dec 21 Mtl- Toronto made me nervous although I fly often. Most nervous I have been because pilot took time to gain altitude after take off, and when landing had to accelerate then decelerate a number of times. Landing was (with 2 km/hr winds i.e. not much wind) almost on one wheel. 4. Food does not have to be so cheap e.g. sweet snack bar? Please bring back an assortment of nuts as they are at least nutritious. Thank you for reading.
Cons: I didn’t book the flight. Was just checking and got the confirmation of booking. Called customer service and they cancelled the booking. Question is why there is no confirmation button and how continue button can confirm the booking. Kayak need to check and advise.
Pros: Staff was great
Cons: The 4hour delay on the one hour flight
Pros: Fantastic flight!
Cons: Being stopped at every connection for screening. No communication about why. Nearly missing the connection due to the screenings. Being held in holding because it was being confirmed that my bag would make it on my next flight and then once confirmed it never made it anyways!!! Unprofessional and poorly executed all the way through.
Pros: Good service and on time
Pros: The crew.
Cons: Everything else. Flight was delayed by over an hour, seats are slippery and SO uncomfortable. No food, no entertainment (flight was only an hour).
Pros: I liked that the inside of the plane was new, bright, and modern. Really great craft.
Cons: It was a propeller plane and it doesn’t say that when you book. And they only gave water and pretzels. Nothing else. No soda, no coffee, etc. I was interested in purchasing a snack on board and the stewardess said they don’t sell on the flight because it was so short (40 min flight time.) lgehixh I could understand, but AirCanda offered a variety of snacks and drinks during the same 40 minute flight, so not sure what’s going on.
Pros: It was a comfortable experience, the flight crew were attentive and friendly.
Cons: The lack of space beneath the seat in front of me can be frustrating, especially when one is required to push their small bag underneath it.
Pros: Quick boarding and quick to disembark.
Cons: tiny! you get what you pay for with a turbo prop.
Pros: The flight was on time
Pros: That we didn't crash.
Cons: Two hour delay, disinterested CSA when checking in, clued-out flight attendant, GSA's didn't know how to gate check luggage. Will try to never fly another WestJet flight again!
Pros: - Flight was on time - Friendly crew
Cons: - My flight was from Montreal to Seattle with a connection in Calgary but the agent at the check in in Montreal was unable to confirm whether my luggage would be transferred directly to Seattle or if I had to collect it in Calgary and check in again. The crew should know or be able to verify the information in their database or somewhere at the departure not only when I arrive in Calgary! It adds a stress to the customer not knowing. - Flight of 4.30 hours and no free meals. - Impossible to use my hear phones in the plane so I couldn't hear the TV channels. I was also expecting movies and series like in Delta.
Pros: Flight was on time.
Cons: Seating was very cramped, uncomfortable.
Pros: The airplane being pretty small, boarding and getting off was fast. No issues or delays either.
Pros: Actual flight went off without a hitch to Vancouver no delays in air.
Cons: We were moved gates which is understandable, however once moved the estimated time of departure was constantly changed and missed. There was a reasonable cause for delay (cleaning up puke) but took abnormally long > 2hrs. Staff did not seem to be really giving it there all (understandable as it was late and they were probably tired).
Pros: Crew was great. Flight was on time.
Cons: This older plane had tiny seats in the seat backs. My phone screen was bigger. Thought we might get a meal on a flight of this length and at this time of day.
Pros: Nice and professional service.
Cons: Having to pay for my checked-in bag.
Pros: Customer focus and service
Pros: Free wine and beer.
Cons: Our flight for Toronto on Sept. 5 , # WS589 was delayed of about 1 and half hour; so, me and about 20 other passengers missed our connection in Toronto. The crew said that Pearson airport was on a shut down due to severe thunderstorms. But the weather was nice and sunny when we arrived Toronto; in fact my connecting flight ( Hainan airlines HU 7995 had left 20 min. earlier- on time- for Bejing. The crew in Westjet plane told me that all airlines were delayed in Toronto airport due to bad weather , and so that I would not miss my connecting flight.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: All flights boarded late, they ran out of food for purchase on long flights and the seats are uncomfortable.
Pros: Montreal to Toronto the crew and staff was great and in a good mood and very pleasant
Cons: Connecting flight was cancelled.
Pros: Didn't like anything. Specially the fact that I left home at 3am and I'm still not in LA
Cons: THE DELAYS! 36 HOURS ON THE ROAD AND STILL GOING! NEVER AGAIN!!!!
Pros: The fact that air Canada had a flight around the same time
Cons: Kept delaying with no clear idea of when we'd actually take off
Pros: In-flight service. Complimentary wine & beer. Flight attendants very friendly.
Pros: The service was nice
Cons: TWO gate changes and several delays later, we finally got to Toronto.
Pros: The assistance of the WestJet agent
Cons: I was held by the American immigration for over 30 minnqnwnnni missed the flight
Pros: Much friendlier than their Canadian competitors. Efficient boarding. Caring crew: One flight attendant gave a passenger part of his own breakfast when she wasn't able to eat her nut-containing snack because a nut allergic passenger was on board. Like the power stations at each seat with USB and AC connections.
Cons: The coffee was very weak. More like brown water than coffee. Food choices were very limited. The entertainment system, available by App on my ipad, worked, but intermittently.
Cons: Seats are thick but zero lumbar. Back too short at shoulders and I'm only 5'8"
Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Cons: Flight was delayed over 3 hours because they had No crew to operate the flight! Such poor customer service on Americans part as well. No answers and rude agents when you tried to ask any questions
Cons: I was asked to move from the front of the plane to the second to last row without a thank you or any kind of appreciation...
Pros: The speed at which everything was handled.
Cons: It was great
Pros: The crew was great, the pilot was talented and the on boarding process was quick and smooth.
Pros: Our flight attendant was very polite and with a great attitude.
Cons: The pilot arrived late because he went for a Tim Horton's coffee (I know that because I was in first row and I heard the flight attendants talking about that). Then, after he finally arrived with a tray full of coffees, there was an issue with the jet's computer and had to reset it and we had to wait even more. When we finally arrived, our Gate was taken by other plane already and we had to wait (more) for the first one to be available for us. Then, when we finally got our Gate, there was another issue, now with the "finger". They weren't able to move it and connect it to the plane to get off of it. So we had to wait AGAIN. And finally as soon as we got off the plane, they were supposed to give us our carry ons on the aisle (Because it was a small plane CR700) , but again, we had to wait almost 10 minutes so that they could send the luggage... To make things worse, I had a first class ticket and I couldn't get the perks of it at the airport. Because they said I wasn't flying in an international flight. Come on?! Canada->USA->Mexico is not International??? You lost me AA.
Pros: Nothing was enjoyable.
Cons: The flight was 4 hours late to leave and American did nothing to try and remedy the situation. Unacceptable that we are this late. I missed my meetings and they won’t offer any kind of voucher for future travel. But yet we have to pay for change fees!?!? I will absolutely avoid flying American.
Cons: I tried to mark all EXCELLENT, but I couldn't get the circle to color in the circle excellent.
Pros: I like nothing!!!!!
Cons: My flight was canceled and company didn’t give any other flight.... any compensation for it....
Pros: Flights were on time.
Cons: Seats are too small.
Pros: Flight was smooth...take off to landing
Cons: Maybe had a flight crew on time and a plane that wasn’t 30 years old
Pros: Crew nice- flight smooth
Cons: More leg room
Cons: Flight delayed 24 hrs
Pros: Did good job
Cons: Bigger seats in economy
Cons: Tray table was dirty
Cons: Flight was 45 mins late. No drinks or snacks. Small plane. Forced to valet checkin carryon luggage :/
Pros: The fight was awesome from takeoff to landing. This has been one of the first flights that my ears did not pop and hurt in years!!! We took off about 10 minutes late waiting on a crew member but made the time up in the air. Great flight!!
Pros: Great surprise at the end of a long travel day. New plane, great crew.
Pros: Friendly, professional, polite, perfect.
Pros: The flight crew were friendly.
Cons: The boarding staff member was extremely overwhelmed being the only person at the desk. She visibly looked frazzled & made it well known. It made me feel insecure about the flight. Then the maintenance crew didn’t notice that there was a dead bird in one of the engines until after we were fully boarded and had to sit on the plane for an hour over our expected time. I appreciated the fact that they were being through for our safety, but catch that before you have people board.
Pros: Good boarding and on time departure.
Cons: Very uncomfortable seats and spacement between the seats too small and you feel very cramped specially when the person in front of you reclines his seat you can hardly move.
Pros: Flights were always on time . Most staff members were friendly. Seats are comfortable. I looove that they allow you a purse and a true carry on .
Cons: Movie selection on long flights not impressive .
Cons: Nothing bad on this particular flight but im traumatized from my auckland to sydney flight
Cons: Attendant took too long to hand out drinks, then ran out of water for the back of the plane. By the time we got water it was almost time to land.
Pros: We received an upgrade for our seats, during the flight the staff were very attentive to us. The flight was quiet and calm.
Pros: Snow ruined flight. Crew was great.
Cons: No entertainment with this flight. Cookies good.
Pros: Boarding as quick and efficient. Staff were friendly and courteous
Cons: Nothing bad to comment on as the trip was a smooth trip
Cons: A few issues: 1) I was not given seat tgth with my 9 year old and was not helped in finding seats together 2) they lost my bag after I took it through customs and I'm still (a week already) waiting for it.
Cons: Too long of a layover when flying from san diego through phoenix to detroit. Need to look for improvement in scheduling to make this a trip enjoyable.
Pros: The AA app for entertainment works well, friendly crew.
Cons: The flight was delayed 90+ minutes, yet they didn't tell anyone until 90 minutes prior to departure. They knew of system delays and should have updated many hours before the flight but they didn't and had us all there very early waiting around doing nothing.
Pros: Our flight was cancelled
Cons: Our flight was cancelled And rescheduled and we were not notified. We missed our flight. The next flight was the following day. We missed a day of vacation and $500 a day hotel fees. We felt we should be reimbursed for our flight but the person we talked to wasn't too helpful.
Pros: Snacks and Beverage
Pros: Always on time and always comfortable.
Pros: The crew is good
Pros: Easy direct flight from Detroit to Miami. The flight was on time, and we had no problems. The cost of the flight was approximately $180 round trip, which I thought was a good value.
Cons: Checking a single bag costs $25 each way, which is irritating when they beg to check all the carry-ons at the gate.
Pros: Good crew.
Cons: The plane was delayed for two hours!
Pros: It was very smooth once we were able to take off!
Cons: We were delayed in the plane almost an hour with no cool air. They had technical problems.
Pros: Clean environment of the terminals and the speed of the shuttle.
Cons: no comment.
Pros: Everything was great. Slept the entire flight.
Cons: Delayed three separate times, American Airlines employees were rude when asked why the flight kept getting delayed. Arrived 3 hours later than expected.
Cons: Flight from Ny to Detroit was delayed for 2 hrs. Coming back was worse after multiple delays, they cancelled the flight. they put me on a flight for next day with 2 connections which will reach ny almost 20 hrs later, no aplogises, no hotel room. After more calls put me in another United flight later that night which also finally got cancelled. I had to book a new flight with delta and paid $460 on the spot for that. Still awaiting my refund from American for the return leg which was cancelled and left a lady traveling alone stranded at Detroit airport in the night. Apology or compensation -- forget it, you will never get that! Only now if they can refund my cancelled flight...
Pros: Finally getting to my final destination and out of DFW.
Cons: The flight was originally scheduled to take off at 8:20 pm, but due to several delays did not end up getting off the ground until after 11 pm. After being in the air for about 45 minutes we were informed that there were issues with the engine and that we would be turning around and heading back to Dallas. By this point it was after midnight, and although I was appreciative that safely is a priority, there was no communication as to what the next steps were. After landing we were finally told that we would have to deplane, and after we sat around the gate for awhile we were informed that the flight would be delayed until 5 am. Being 12:50 am at this point a hotel would have been nice, but we were informed that AA was "out of hotels" but that if we wanted we could have a $12 food voucher to use at the one restaurant that was open several terminals over. The AA employee assisting in handing out the food vouchers seemed extremely unapologetic about the situation which didn't help with the frustration everyone was feeling. I will not be booking with AA again, and will be passing along my negative experience to family and friends. It is worth spending the extra money on a ticket for an airline that is more reliable with better customer service.
Pros: The crew was wonderful. Our flight was delayed 3 hours and they did their best to keep all the passengers comfortable and happy.
Cons: There was no food or entertainment to rate
Pros: We arrived safely
Cons: Delay disorganized staff that was not friendly or helpful lost luggage
Cons: The only reason for the one star, is that there was no entertainment or did on the flight. So those categories didn't apply. For me, in my flight experience, it's to get to where i need to be and not to be entertained. Food and drinks aren't needed, I can get that when i get to my destination.
Pros: On board crew were friendly.
Cons: The lady working the gate said they do not upgrade service members to first class and could not upgrade our seats. She told us that all American Airlines have different policys in different states. Which is strange.
Pros: The ease of boarding
Cons: Delay, seats very uncomfortable
Pros: I liked everything, Air Canada and Lufthansa did everything to facilitate travel for the passengers during these uneasy times. Everything is really well organized, on schedule, with outmost courtesy and effort
Cons: Bathroom was disgusting. Sink and toilet clogged and filled with paper
Cons: The plane was loaded front to back and unloaded without any disipline i.e. the usual uncontrolled mob. Neither is a good idea in this time of covid-19.
Cons: For my bistro meal, I would have preferred a wrap or sandwich instead of snack foods
Pros: Everything was fine.
Cons: No issues.
Pros: The spacing was good Sanitary with every Air Canada airplane I’ve been in was good Lighting felt cozy
Cons: Kept hearing a dog and baby cry People not social distancing when plane lands People not wearing their mask right
Pros: First time traveling with my dog and it went well.
Pros: Quiet flight in fairly empty flight
Cons: food choices, no blanket
Cons: My wifi was not working for the entire trip!
Cons: Travel agency did not notify me that I needed to get a Yellow Fever immunization
Pros: It arrived on time.
Cons: The temperature in the cabin was way too cold. People we wearing their jackets and when I mentioned it to the cabin crew member she said a few other people would have to make a similar comment before she could request turning the temperature up. There was also a glitch in the system so that the reading lights for each seat could only be operated by the seat directly in front. The food was very uninspiring and poorly presented. The tea and coffee were awful!!!!!! The choice of movies, etc was very limited. Thank goodness it was a night flight and not too long!
Cons: Connections to US destinations now require your checked in baggage to be processed before you can proceed to your connecting flights. The real problem is that this is no sign or communications describing this. Everyone is simply stopped in the corridor and told that they cannot proceed farther until their name comes up green on a monitor. Unfortunately the monitor switches displays so frequently that it is almost impossible to read. In addition to that it seems names do not always appear on the monitor unless you get your boarding pass scanned a the desk (this is not communicated to you unless you ask why your name is not on the monitor at all). People late for connecting flights (because of inbound flight delays) are required to wait without explanation sometimes needlessly if they don't have a checked bag. A nightmare if you're trying to make your connection. In addition once you've cleared that hurdle you need to go through security again (something we were unprepared for since we were already in the secure area. You then proceed to customs and then your connecting flight (if you haven't already missed it by then). Allow lots of time to get to your connecting flight, and ask to get you boarding pass scanned at that mysterious "checked bag" stop in the corridor.
Pros: Once on the flight, everything went well.
Cons: Real nightmare as I had booked YUL-LYS-BRU with Brussels Airlines (SN). YUL-LYS was operated with Air Canada. Came within 4 minutes of missing flight despite being at airport 3 hrs early. SN had not released ticket to Air Canada so they could not check me in. Had to call SN customer service after AC could not check me in, then wait and wait as they had to try to correct the mistake 3x before AC counter could issue boarding passes. Terrible experience going through this with 2 small kids waiting. It’s as if the two airlines’ systems don’t communicate but passenger is responsible for resolving.
Pros: The crew inside the plane was friendly pretty much the only thing good about the travelling
Cons: The seats were not confortable and old and no entertainment at all ! The food was horrible and the customer service from air Canada at Montreal airport was rude and unprofessional 3 hours delay without even an apology or an explanation! I went to see a person from a air canada at a desk at the boarding gates and he wouldn't even have the courtesy to give me 1 minute of his time to explain why the plane is late his awnser was wait for the announcement and you will see his attitude was very apathetic. Overall I was very disappointed
Pros: Every thing expert the food
Cons: The food
Cons: Was put on a Turkish airlines flight - landed in India 12 hours AFTER scheduled landing. My luggage did not reach India. After numerous calls got only 1 out of 2 of my bags ; 2nd bag still missing 1 week after landing in India WOW
Pros: the crew was nice and helpul with my worry about loosing the flight to tel aviv because the flight to toronto was late due to snow in toronto.
Cons: while on my way to the airport i got a message that my flight was cancelled. luckily i had a friend who took care of putting me on another flight to toronto. weather created changes but just sending a message your flight is cancelled is not the right way to deal with things. when finally arriving to toronot i had to rush to my flight to tel aviv, it was insane, just to realize that also this flight was postponed due to the weather. air canada should be more involved in helping travelers to deal with their connections.
Cons: Although we boarded on time, there was a wait of over 1.5h in the plane. First time in my life i was beyond uncomfortable. What i couldn't understand was why we had to be in the plane for the refueling. It makes more sense to wait in the airport at the gate rather in a tight confined place. I'm overall pissed at the situation. Not to mention my seat was defective and although the seat was up, it would push back the moment you put weight. The flight attendant kept on asking me to place my seat in the upright position (which wasn't possible). To get her off my back, i held my back up with my own weight. I'm disappointed with aircanada.
Cons: I want to seriously complain about Air Canada and Kayak booking systems. I reserved the tickets to Shanghai but there were no place reminding me that I need Canadian VISA to connect flights between two Canadian cities. I am a Chinese citizen who is working at USA and not allowed to change flights in Canada based on the newest government rules. However, in both booking systems, there is no reminders. In my opinion, either Kayak or Air Canada can add a simple checkbox to let the potential guest choose his or her nationality status, then this kind of trouble can be mitigated. We talked and called Air Canada people but no buying. They kept saying this is our responsibility. We bought United Airline tickets at the last minutes and cost us about $2,400 because we cannot wait to get back China to prepare our wedding ceremony and US Visa interview. We are very very disappointed with Air Canada and will keep complaining about this issue. As a service supplier, how cannot you think on behalf of a customer? The air company definitely knows more about government rules than a customer. We did have mistakes of not researching government rules. However, the biggest mistake was we trusted Air Canada and Kayak who we thought had taken care of those kind of issues for us. Thanks.
Pros: Walking past the Turkish Airlines desk in Dulles and knowing I would NEVER have to interact with these monsters again.
Cons: I am an experienced traveler. I've been to 17 countries and have flown over a million miles in both business and coach. My wife encountered a problem in Istanbul that involved an airport transit visa through Canada. I am certain that any other airline we’ve ever flown would’ve assisted us, since it was easily resolved. To Turkish Airlines, this is simply a part of their business model and a chance to make more money. It took about 8 hours of our time at 5 different airport locations to eventually buy new tickets to get back the next day. Our original tickets say: “REISSUE With 200.00 USD penalty. What I didn’t see was the fine print at the bottom: “Turkish Airlines reserves the right to change rules regarding ticket changes and refunds.”. They mean it. As bad as our personal experience was, the real reason we are so appalled is that we were there long enough to see this is the norm for them. In our single day there, we saw at least 100 other travelers going through similar things. The ONLY solution ever offered is to purchase another ticket. We witnessed several people weeping. Many losing control and shouting. Their own personnel were screaming at customers (in a separate office area though, it was all yucks and laughing). These were people of all nationalities. Africans, Asians, Europeans. We were lucky because we had the means to purchase new tickets. Others clearly didn’t. I really don’t know what happened to some of them. One moment was very symbolic of the entire experience. Another vanquished traveler was paying $843 for a new ticket with cash. He handed her $845 but she, of course, had no change. Instead of the $5, he gave her two $1 bills. I had one in my pocket so gave it to her as well. She held my $1 bill up and pointed to the corner which had a very small piece torn off…no ink was missing…and sneered “I can’t accept this. She did this simply because she could. We were powerless. She knew it and reveled in it.
Pros: The gate agents were polite and the boarding was relatively smooth. Food was fine and flight attendants were Excellent!!!
Cons: First point of contact was incredibly rude. First she told me she couldn't find my reservation. Once she did, she gave me a lecture about my married name. Next she refused to let me take my carry on bag saying it was too large even though it fit on all flights to Montreal. Once I proved it would fit with the luggage sizer she had moved on to another customer and ignored me for 10 minutes while I stood there even though my boarding passes were printed. When I got to the flight, I found it could have been gate checked but there was no need as the flight was NOT FULL and my bag fit with no problem at all in the overhead bins. In 35 years of flying this was the worst experience I've ever had.
Pros: Ease of boarding - no long queues. Offer to put hand luggage in the hold with no charge.
Cons: Extreme delays on my return flight which made me miss my connection and get rebooked on another flight for the next day. We were delayed on departure, then on the tarmac, then in the air, and finally when getting off the plane. I am glad that I was rebooked and was given a hotel to stay at, but I did not like the way I was treated by Air Canada staff at customs. I passed through customs only to be sent back into Canada after having crossed through security because the staff decided to close. We were told by other staff members that it was up to them to decide when they were done and to talk them. I ran through the whole airport with about 7 other people to make it. Why make us cross through security only to send us back? There was no one there to guide us on what to do. I had to go through the whole thing again the following day only to have my face cream taken away (it is technically cream, not a liquid) and then be detained. None of this happened AT ALL the day before. I'd give more details but it was a complete mess.
Pros: Great food, comfortable seats.
Cons: Long delay on departure, the ground crew decided to leave without clearing us for the flight. Probably helped cause the luggage catastrophe that followed on the next flight.
Cons: This flight was two and a half hours late. We lost an hour and 45 minutes due to a mechanical problem with our airplane, then lost another 45 minutes due to a storm in Toronto. Air Canada blamed the weather for our late arrival, my missed connection and claimed no responsabilility for the fact that my trip ended up taking more than 24 hours when it was supposed to take about 9 hours. Also, there was the matter of the lost luggage which was a carry on that I accepted to have checked as the Air Canada staff seemed desperate to check our carry ons on a full flight to Toronto from Montreal. I ended up spending the night in the Vancouver airport without access to my luggage.
Pros: Movies for free, although the seat next to mine didn't work. Plenty of leg room.
Cons: Some of it was air canada, some of it was weather and some of it was the montreal airport. scheduled for 6:00 rescheduled 7:00 rescheduled 8:00 boarded 8:30 took off 10:00 1. air caanda - boarded the plane, then came on with announcement that we would be sitting on tarmac for an 1.5 hours. We were delayed for hour and half already, why load us and make us sit in a warm aircraft. Air Canada offered us 10.00 vouchers for dinner... problem was they did it so late nothing was open. It should have been done earlier. 2. weather - caused the initial problem in NYC, no fault of air canada. 3. Montreal airport - Our gates were switched 3 times during the delays. Which happens, however the gate changes started at one end of the airport, moved to the other end of the airport and back to the original end.
Pros: Boarding was good, but pretty bad flights overall. One of the worst I ever had in my life! The plane seats we had had so little cushion that is was painful to sit. My husband was avoiding touching the back by leaning on his arms and he is great shape, don't think elderly and in pain by himself...Entertainment simply non-existent and food as well... The crew were borderline okay. Plus the plane drove for about 20 minutes at Montreal and about 20 in Chicago before we left and after we landed...Let's say I saw parts of O'Hare in Chicago, I didn't even know existed!!!
Cons: Pretty bad flights overall. One of the worst I ever had in my life! The plane seats we had had so little cushion that is was painful to sit. Cons: Our flight was turned around after we had gotten to Toronto. They claimed that they had shut down the airport due to bad weather. They took us back to Montreal where we sat in on the tarmac for two hours. They said that there was a second storm Coming through Toronto and that the airport was shutdown again. They then canceled our flight. After standing in line for three hours at customer service they told me they couldn't get me on another flight until tomorrow night and ariving at my destination two days later. The coustomer service rep then told me to just go ahead and call the customer service number because she couldn't help me. They said they wouldn't pay for any accommodations because it was weather related. The issue with their argument is that only one other flight was canceled into Toronto. Air Canada actually had several more flights that day that that landed in Toronto after they told us the airport was closed. The customer service was embarrassing. They had us wait for over three hours to be helped and there were four desk which at most times they only had two people working. Many times there was only one person. The entire thing was pathetic.
Pros: Air crew was nice. Pilot nice too.
Cons: Old plane. Smaller seat size than comparable airlines. Terrible food: a slice of oily cske, served in a plastic sleeve, must be the new low for an international breakfast...no individual tvs on the sets....hello, step into the 21st century.... And the selection available via your iPad or laptop and their wifi was small, and old...we had paid to upgrade our economy tickets to the next level, and we expected more...the size of the upgraded seats was not great and there wa no foot rest to put your feet on, which is a significant help to someone who flies so many hours and can assist with circulation....
Cons: Tough to have a long-haul flight without functioning seat-back entertainment. Mine never worked. Asked three times about it - three times the system was "rebooted" - to no avail. I told each subsequent flight attendant that it had already been reset - they just "tried" it again. Very frustrating over the course of several hours. No one ever checked to see whether their re-set actually worked. Also, not sure why the window seats now have an arm rest on the window side of the seat - seriously interferes with passenger comfort when trying to sleep.
Cons: One of my three flights was unnecessarily delayed by two hours, enough that I missed my last connection and had to stay overnight in Vancouver. There were no technical complications or weather complications. It was simply because something had been misscheduled and the flight crew needed a longer rest time between flights. This is completely avoidable, and the attendent who checked me in even said so. While the hotel and shuttle were paid for, Air Canada only gave me a $7 breakfast voucher, which was only redeemable at the hotel's measly breakfast counter rather than anywhere in the airport. For the unnecessary delays I had to deal with, i should had received more credit. This was an utterly disappointing travel experience.
Cons: The 6 1/2 hour flight from Montréal CANADA to San Francisco, CA USA, is considered a "shared border flight," which means 1) you pay $25 for your first checked bag, $35 for the next, and $100 for subsequent bags. The food is horrible and the type you'd expect on a puddle jumper from NY to Boston. Clearly Air Canada executives are aware that Canada and the US are separate countries. This is just an attempt to gouge the consumer. Unfortunately Air Canada is the only Airline I can fly out of Montreal so I'm stuck with them. : (
Pros: friendly pilot
Cons: Delayed 25 minutes, and threatened to fly without 15 passengers due to strong headwinds and need to reduce weight. Never heard that one before.
Pros: The plane was nice and spacious. A CA agent stationed by customs helped about five of us get to the front of the line, so we'd make our next flight.
Cons: 1. After playing 20 questions at the check-in kiosk, it was unable to print our documents. 2. So we played 20 questions again and the second machine failed to check us in. 3. The flight was delayed about an hour (due to weather, not your fault), so our connection was tight. We alerted the agent at the gate (along with several others). She didn't help at all. She just told us to go to the gate. Well, we had to go through customs, so that wasn't helpful. What we were asking is if she could alert the gate agents at the next flight that we were running as fast as we could. 4. So five of us get to the next gate as they're paging us that the doors are closing. 5. Our bags didn't make the flight, which wasn't unexpected, but it was worrisome when the agent at our final destination told us she couldn't tell where they were.
Cons: One man wanted me to check an empty carry on bag I travel for 10 years with this high quality foldable carry on bag, it is a tight in their test cradle because of the wheels but it does fit. Even a passanger offer me is support telling the agent he was not reasonable after getting the bag in and out 4 times he still wanted me to check the bag in ? After 10 min arguments he said ok put it on the floor ! I could of put 2 of my foldable bag on the top storage if I had 2.... it was a connecting from same airline a much smaller plane which accepeted the bag . Very unpleasant ! Some people like to feel in power.
Cons: had to pa for poor selection (the cheese "platter" ran out quickly :( )
Cons: Air Canada failed to transfer my bag from flight 1 to connecting flight 2. This not only happened to me but to other people traveling on the same connecting flight as well. My bag was delivered later then the promised time, it was also returned damaged. It is now almost one week since I have taken my flight and I am unable to process a claim because they have not updated my file via their Bag Tracer program. It is clear that they still have a lot of work to do to be considered a real commercial air line company
Cons: Boarding was slow and chaotic because of the number of passengers bringing oversize carry-on bags, presumably to try to avoid the checked-bag fee. The overhead bins filled up early, and passengers squabbled over the available space and objected when flight attendants told them they would have to gate-check their bags. The aisle was congested and blocked for long periods of time as people tried to fit their bags into the bin, and the plane left the gate more than 15 minutes late because of the slow boarding. There were about 100 people on the flight, but only about 20 at baggage claim (including at least two family groups), another indication that the checked-bag fee caused passengers to bring oversize carry-on bags. The overall rating for this flight would be significantly higher if it weren't for the boarding process.
Cons: The last leg of our entire trip, and it was late. We left about 1.5 hours late and they had trouble getting the gate to the plane when we landed. A long trip home was made even longer. I was very surprised that there were so many issues with timeliness on AC flights. In our outbound to Athens, two of the three flights left late, and they had to rebook part of our trip to accommodate. And the return trip was more of the same. I expected AC to be world-class and it was more like a regional airline in terms of performance.
Pros: Nothing in particular stood out in Montreal or the flight to Boston, as better than average...meh
Cons: Our Swiss crew told us over the loudspeaker several times that "even if connecting we still need to get our luggage" which turned out to be false as our luggage was transferred to the Boston bound plane automatically... We were ushered out as a group to a connection security check which required electronic kiosks to be used for scanning our passports photos and fingerprints... They fraught with malfunctions then after waiting in line for s while we did the whole check all over again with s human security agent in s booth... There were only 2 security agents in the booths as well but there really needed to be several more to keep the line moving quicker... After security we walk directly out to departures but no mention of baggage claim, which was fine had we not been misinformed by Swiss initially... We ended up inquiring several times with SirCsnsda staff until it was clear Swiss had misinformed us.
Cons: The port for the earphones didn't work 100% You had to jiggle it to get it to work
Pros: Had a great conversation wih a guy from Switzerland an it really helped to pass the time.
Cons: I didn't like that they either started boarding too early or we waited a long time to get off the runway as it seemed we were on the plane a long time before we actually left. Also we just received our snack and our drink and as soon as we received them, a stewardess told us to all put our tables up and I do believe that it was because we were descending to land. It seemed like forever before we received our snack and then we're told we couldn't use our tables. I think they should have started the snacks earlier as it was quite a big plane and it probably would take quite a long time to serve everyone and the worst part of it all was that I had asked for a can of pop, so I had to hold my can of pop, my glass pop and try to get my snack out of the package which was not easy at all.
Cons: Very rude staff, my flight from Dublin was delayed for three hours on the runway why they fix the leak for the restrooms. Once we landed I had to clear customs in Canada and get to the new flight. They told me when I finally had to make through the airport and through customs that I need to manage my time better and understand and give myself plenty of time to make the flight.. REALLY??? It wasn't my fault that their crappy plane wasn't working right wasn't my fault we were delayed but I need to manage my time better I think they fell and bumped their head!!
Pros: They didnt loose my luggage this time.
Cons: do your self a favor and find a different airline. When i got home and talked to others about my travels the said " what did you expect, i wont fly air canada" I wish i would have know before i booked my flight.
Cons: on march 13/ 2016 booked my tickets on kayak.com so end up getting it with vayama.on july 28 missed my flight for a family raison called vayama and explained the situation they said they will help me just they need to confirm with the airlines (air canada) and they will give me new tickets.no body called me back ,called air canada said: we have ticket but you need to get it from vayama.called vayama again he said sorry about that i will let everyone know and he promise me that i will get help a.s.a.p.did't hear from them left with my wife and two kids in morocco for a week end up buying new tickets from laufthansa
Cons: On the way back from Quebec City to Montreal we were asked to check our carry-ons as luggage, because "there is no room' on the plane. It was an empty flight. ALL overhead compartments were empty. Both flights - Quebec to Montreal and Montreal San Francisco were late. As the result, we have to spend 1.5 hours in the baggage claim area, because "there are no baggage agents in SFO available". THAT WAS THE WHOLE REASON WE ONLY HAD CARRY-ONS! By far, one of the worst flight experience in the last 10 year.
Cons: After waiting 30 minutes after our boarding time, I got an email on my phone saying the gate had changed. No one at the current gate knew anything about it and I went to ask but no one could be found. I asked a man sitting behind the gate, who happened to be the pilot, and he also knew nothing about it. Needless to say, the gate changed and absolutely nobody was told about it. 2 hours later, our flight finally took off, and I was thanked by the pilot for getting us to the right gate... At least he provided a little humor to the situation! Plane also wasn't cleaned, pretzels and trash all over the floor.
Pros: The crew and their sincere attitude to be of help. Wonderful team of professionals.
Cons: One hour delay, which was very tiring for someone who already had gone through the 9 hour flight torture from Athens. The Global Entry for US bound passengers procedure is very confusing. Maybe it would help if the steps were communicated on the US bound passengers before disembarking. First the passport process (easy) then there is this confusing process where we need to see our names in green on the screen, with some staff telling us to move on while others insist that we need to stay back and wait for our names to go green on screens that keep changing. Good idea and intentions to help clear bags, and can be improved. Overall the Montreal to DC flight (with the exception of the awful Montreal airport and the long delay) was excellent.
Pros: I had a wonderful experience with the crew on broad. The pilot was amazing. The cabin Attendent in first class was very lovely and sweet. She was the reason for my nice experience since I had a horrible time with the gate staff.
Cons: I had a horrible time with the gate staff. They made me check my bag at the gate even though it fits in the overhead bin. I did three flight with air canada prior to this flight with the same carryon. I didn't appreciate the ladies attitude. She said I don't care who or what class you fly so took my roller and tagged it. Then she let the guy next to me get on with his bigger roller only because he was first class. I had to upgrade myself to first class to keep my roller on me. I had things that I couldn't part from my carry on. Cost me $500 US dollar and then she said to me. What ever thrills you. Wow. I am star alliance gold with two airlines and I have never ever been treated this way ever. I will never take air canada ever again. The 1800 customer service isn't any better.
Pros: The flight qmwent without issue once we took iff
Cons: There was maintenance needed on the plane before we could take off and that delayed us further from take off.
Cons: Late crew caused delays
Pros: Economy seating for such a small plane was great.
Cons: This flight- one of the crew (female) had a miserable attitude. Like we were an inconvenience.
Pros: The flight was easy and quick. These small planes are actually pretty comfortable.
Cons: Waiting for a gate in Chicago is never fun. Most people on the plane seemed to have tight connections, and I'm guessing most of us missed them. I only made mine because the next flight was delayed.
Cons: Flight could’ve been on time.
Pros: See above
Cons: See above
Pros: Left early and arrived early!
Cons: WiFi didn’t work
Pros: The airbus seats were far more comfortable than the 737-800 seats that we had on the orevious outgoing flight. It shows comfort is possible when the airline selects the right equipment.
Cons: Not delay the flight causing me to not have enough time to connect In Frankfurt.
Pros: Just outstanding handling of any upcoming issue, comforting travelers, helping lost moms not knowing what to do with their unbehaving sceaming kids. Helping rude business travelers to get more alcohol without charging them, and many challenges along that line, just handled amazingly!
Cons: just the food items available, would be so nice to have a few more options for purchase!
Pros: The connection time Mach very well。
Cons: I learned that 3 flight together long hours have no food been sever and we have time to get food from airport. Next time I will do better☺。
Cons: All of my fligts has been delayed and resceduled, so instead of 18 hours to go to hawaii, it took me 36h
Pros: On time. Comfortable and smooth flight
Cons: Delays due to to weather is not a new thing to worry, but flight delay should be informed early to the passengers so that I should have planned the arrival to the airport accordingly, but I was told just before the gate prior to boarding time and the delay was around 3 hrs.
Pros: The United staff and flight were great, no complaints. We arrived a few minutes too late for my partner to check in with his luggage so they even arranged it so that he would be able to still catch the flight but the luggage would be sent on the following flight. Definitely saved us from the stress of having to be split up and worried on when there would be room for him to catch an alternate flight.
Cons: My complaints are with Newark airport (EWR). The AirTran took over 10-15min to arrive and when it finally did we had to get off and wait for another one which didn’t have space for everyone so a group of us had to wait even longer for the next one to arrive. A guy said he missed his flight last time that happened. They had more trains going to the parking lot for customers leaving the airport than they did for people catching their flights! Then there was only one security check in line, even for expedited check in. Despite allocating extra time for our overall commute, we still made it right on time for boarding so make sure to give yourself PLENTY of time when dealing with EWR.
Cons: The fact my luggage didn’t arrive with me in Detroit and that we were 30 min late and couldn’t get off the plane because of lighting like come on!!
Pros: The flight crew was courteous and efficient.
Cons: The boarding time lasted an hour as the front desk staff at the gate insisted that I needed a visa travel document for my connection in China (multiple leg journey). What they failed to realize is that nobody needs a visa for China if they’re connecting in transit. It took a phone call and 3 staff members to sort things out. Not something that I want to deal with at 5:00 am. Moreover, due to the de icing, the flight was late and i just made it to my connecting flight in Newark. It was quite a hair-raising experience overall.
Pros: Boarding was quick and the crew was attentive
Cons: The flight left an hour late. When arrived in Detroit the ground crew left our bags on the plane. It took over another hour to figure out what happened. The attendant was not on duty.
Pros: Nothing really everyhing was mediocre.
Cons: Delayed baggage, smelly flight, food
Pros: Not much, the plane and crew were fine. The RJ's are getting old and dirty though.
Cons: Delayed, delayed, delayed. The crew is less than sympathetic. No way would I fly United if it wasn't a non-stop flight.
Pros: There were five flights out of our gate and we couldn't hear who was supposed to board because three people would be cross talking at the same time. All united flights.
Pros: Timely boarding and excellent service
Cons: The allottedseating and leg space per person. I felt extremely closed in, it was very to get things out of my carry on bags. I could barely move.
Cons: It was a long delay, which meant I missed my connection at O'Hare even though I had a 3 hour window.
Pros: Crew was nice
Cons: Flight was 4 hours late. The seat was so small, I could not open the tablet (folding tablet in armrest). I am 6" tall and medium built. That tablet can only fit a kid
Pros: seats are comfortable
Cons: 1)Very cold cabin atmosphere. 2)Very noisy passengers wish the attendants can announce saying "since its a late night flight we request our passengers to keep their voices low" Some people just don't have common sense
Pros: On time. Announcer at gate could have been a little clearer.
Cons: No complaints.
Pros: Quick boarding m
Cons: 1.5 hour delay
Pros: Efficient and on time
Pros: Kind flight attendants
Pros: I liked that when the plane actually arrived to newark that the boarding was swift. The pilot and flight crew were good.
Cons: The plane was late. I flew out of Detroit because it was cheaper than flying out of Cleveland where I live. So due to this flight being late I had to pay more then expected to get my car out of the parking garage and got home an hour and a half later than expected which got me home at 3am versus 130am (original time I would have been home IF the plane would have been on time).
Cons: I was put on an Air Canada flight and sat on the tarmac for almost THREE hours in MTL. Finally took off and am stuck in Toronto overnight. Air Canada was very unhelpful. I have to sleep in the airport. No food vouchers. Sucks.
Pros: Boarding was quick, staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: No in flight entertainment...
Pros: The flight attendants were very responsive
Cons: The food was very disappointing. Dry fried chicken with rice.
Cons: My seat didn't recline, no free movies/TV.
Pros: Flight attendants tried.. United booked a hotel room for the night.
Cons: Poor communication on gate change. Delay on flight boarding, and there were issues with engine. Stuck on the tarmac with no AC, they had us off-boarded since everyone was sweating. Reboarded after, no AC still until takeoff. Delayed more than two hours- this was last flight, and caused me to miss connection flight. Was supposed to arrive in final destination at 11pm that night- ended up getting there at 9:40AM next day.
Pros: I have absolutely nothing to say good about this airport
Cons: We were canceled (our flight in Newark) were herded around like cattle and then left to fend for ourselves .. With no apologies .. We got jumbled around to three different flights until we found one that would fit they try to get us on one flight and boarded in like 45 minutes and there was no way were going to make it manageable us around again , it was awful..
Cons: Delay caused us to miss last flight of day. We have been sleeping on floor of airport for 9 hours. Same thing happened in the beginning of the trip from dallas to chicago. Oh, it was our honeymoon!
Pros: Getting home finally
Cons: Miscommunication with customer service regarding stand by flights, representatives were extremely rude, spent 7 hrs at airport during departure and 7 at airport during arrival, constant gate changes and that's just to say the least
Pros: The crew on United was very helpful on my July 2 flight
Cons: You sold me a ticket on Lufthansa. When I got to Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris I waited 45 minutes in line to check in with Lufthansa. When I got to the counter they said they had no record of my reservation. When I showed them the Lufthansa reservation they told me it actually was for a United flight, even though it clearly said Lufthansa . I had to wait another 45 minutes in the United line to retrieve my boarding pass, then about another hour to go through passport control and security. I barely made my flight. I will never make a reservation through Kayak again. I am deleting your app.
Pros: Never on Air Canada again. Food was miserable. They literally told me that they ran out of food (on the flight from Montreal to Casablanca). No kidding. They told us that the flight was full and no more food was available! When we asked for water, they did not bring water. I am not sure if they were out of water because the flight was full! That would be something! Bathrooms were not usable. Utterly dirty. My six-year old daughter refused to use the bathrooms. Water was flowing and the smell was horrible. They should clean that. I can go on but what is the point???
Cons: The list would be too long. So, what did I like is a better question in this case. Honestly, I am not even sure if I liked anything. I mean some people were nice, but why? Do I expect people to be rude? I mean, I need to like something extraordinary, something that others don't do. I can't remember anything remarkable. Just nothing.
Pros: For all everything was OK
Pros: The seats were more confortable. They could be a bit taller for head room but space between seats and the width of seats were very comfortable.
Cons: The crew seemed very unpleasant. The guy (head crew) was very rude. When asking us to do things he just said it with a tone that was very unneeded. You could tell he didn't want to be there. The lady flight artendant was nice just facially her expressions make her look stand off ish. They talked about passengers to each other in the aisle ways and made comments that "they've talk to this lady each several times and she's not listening". Seemed like private conversation they could try and have.
Cons: The flight was late/ delayed over 6 hours. The crew was rude and very unprofessional. This was the worst experience i have ever had flying. I can honestly say I will Never fly United airlines again. I understand that flights get delayed, but when every worker at the flight check in desk, and flight attendants are rude and have a smug attitude as if they don't care then at that point i walk away from ever doing business with you again.
Cons: My flight was cancelled. When I called United I was in hold for an hour only to be told that my airline was not United but Air Canada. When I called air canada I was on hold for another 45 minutes. They rescheduled my flight for another day. I lost one day of my vacation.
Cons: The flight was delayed 2 hours without any real explanation of why. They ended up moving us to a new gate at the last minute.
Pros: Only an hour flight
Cons: Same as earlier flight but didn't try wifi.
