Cons: Flight was delayed causing the connection impossible. Delta provides no way to communicate directly with a human making rebooking impossible. The lack of care destroyed our family reunion.
Cons: Not losing my bag on a direct flight
Pros: Trip was ok
Cons: The flight was delayed 1 hour
Pros: Professional crew, no fanfare, standard was excellence.
Cons: Faster flight time in air...
Pros: The screens, quality, travel, attendants
Cons: The exit row door in 12B kept making a high pitch squealing noise...very unnerving
Pros: Flight experience was good
Cons: Delayed bording 1.5 hours due to staffing issues
Pros: The crew was nice.
Cons: Having cocktails available on-board
Cons: Boarding announcements were hardly audible. We chose comfort seats for extra payment but that still did not turn out to be comfort class. Seat classes are confusing. No temperature was taken before boarding.
Cons: The wheel to my luggage broke off in deltas care so if that could have not happened it would have been way better.
Cons: Everything was great and went smoothly.
Cons: Love delta. Everything was excellent
Pros: Crew was very nice and accommodating
Cons: Food service
Pros: Great crew
Pros: Clear announcements, nicely stated mask rem8nders, center seats open
Pros: Very clean, kind w mask instructions, like boarding back to front
Pros: I liked the fact I was put into a quality seat after I had booked a normal economy seat. Nice upgrade. I got lots of leg room.
Cons: The flight was delayed because of a maintenance issue. We made up some of the time, but it was an issue.
Pros: I love that the plane has extra space available between seats (with no one in the middle) & that everyone was encouraged to keep their mask on at all times.
Pros: Crew was wonderful
Cons: This COVID to be over
Cons: Comfier seats
Pros: Sanitized, open middle seats, comfortable
Cons: We were stuck on the tarmac for 40+ minutes due to our gate being blocked by another plane. We almost missed our connection and had to run through the airport with our luggage and the staff at our second gate yelling “hurry up” at us like it was our fault.
Pros: Seat size
Cons: Everything was just fine
Cons: We had a 2.5 hour delay because there was someone missing in the crew. It sounded like it hadn’t been properly planned for the flight so it was frustrating. However, once that person showed up, everything was great and the crew was very sweet
Pros: Covid safety protocols and people following was excellent.
Cons: Serve alcohol :)
Pros: One flight attendant was adamant about a passenger across from me, covering his nose AND mouth during the flight and constantly checked to make sure he was following the rules.
Cons: The safety instructions portion of the flight was not thorough. They just held up the large card and stood there. No true demonstration which was important to me as I was sitting in the emergency exit row.
Pros: As expected of Delta. With Covid, even the food service understandably was limited. They had prepackaged goodies, albeit not much flexibility, but I had no complaints. Mid row was empty per Covid, for flight comfort, this was somewhat a plus. Knowing air was filtered with HEPA filters every 2 minutes with fresh oxygen and outside air mix was also reassuring.
Pros: Great crew and friendly
Pros: Everything was amazing
Cons: Nothing really.
Cons: Well if my future father in law was on the flight it would have been wonderful, but he passed away July 7th, and I did get refunded, and we are mourning his loss and keep getting notifications about the flight and emails which makes it very difficult mentally. So it would be nice if Delta would get their process of refunds especially when it's a death to maybe not get notified. I was the one that purchased the tickets for him in April.
Pros: Crew great....moved passengers around near us for Covid related separation.
Cons: Cramped.....too many seats in too small of a plane....I'm 6ft / 190 lbs
Pros: Crew was very attentive. I appreciated the extra spacing between passengers.
Cons: I would have liked to see alcohol served.
Pros: Crew was night seat sucked plane was cramped
Pros: Empty middle seat; disinfectant wipes. I know these measures were implemented because of COVID but I wouldn’t mind having these last past the pandemic!
Cons: Good for now
Cons: There should not be a pay wall around the internet in today's day and age
Pros: The plane was very new everything was good
Cons: Nothing considering the situation
Cons: The food service on the 3 hour leg but we knew that ahead of time so...
Cons: Best option across the pond, amazing upgrade prices
Pros: It was horrible. Delta really should have cancelled and refunded the flight altogether.
Pros: The entertainment was good.
Cons: The check in and boarding process in Incheon was terrible! My flight ticket was printed and had the wrong name, which the agent at the check in desk did not catch. It was not until I went to the security line when they found a mismatched name. I was asked to go through security THREE TIMES. And then at the gate, I was supposedly "randomly selected" for ANOTHER swab/swipe security check. The flight itself was uncomfortable. There are not enough bathrooms for the number of people seated on the flight. The entertainment was the only excellent and recommendable thing about this delta flight.
Pros: Overall experience was awesome. Always love to fly delta. Nice spacious and clean aircraft. Enjoyed the entertainment system.
Pros: The KLM ground staff were extremely helpful and reassuring when there was confusion with my ticket.
Cons: I booked KLM flights (Cork - Tampa return) but the planes were in fact Aer Lingus and Delta. So I have no idea what KLM is like. When I checked in at Cork the ground staff could only give me a boarding card for the first flight. For the second one she said I would have to go to the Delta counter in Amsterdam. It was difficult to find a counter there or staff as check-in was all by computer. The computer kept saying 'error' when I put in my code. I eventually was directed to a KLM desk (nicely hidden). I was told that my seat no longer existed. At this point the flight was ready to board. Thankfully the KLM ground staff were extremely helpful and reassuring and upgraded my ticket to economy comfort. On the way back, I could only get a boarding card for my first flight. The second two I had to collect at the boarding gate of the second flight.
Cons: Dutch sub titels on fims would be good
Pros: Not applied
Cons: Not applied
Pros: 1. Smooth flight itself and informed by captain well on expected time of arrival with frequent updates
Cons: 1. I already had a tight connection and let the flight attendant know that I was concerned due to the delay. She seemed very laissez faire and there was no information about the connections gate overhead or when I got off the plane. I think that if the flight is delayed, the airline should let passengers know where the close connection gate assignments are to save them time (my flight landed ten minutes after my connection was boarding). 2. The carry on luggage section was impossibly small so I had to gatecheck my bag and it took five minutes to get my bag back. Given the tight connection, this created additional anxiety.
Pros: Same as above.
Pros: Couldn’t find a thing.
Cons: My husband booked West Jet by phone. They spelled my name wrong on the ticket which caused hours of delays tryng to check in...ultimately leading to our missing the flight. The time spent was around 6 hours....4 of them the were on one continuous phone call where we were bumped back and forth between West Jet and Delta. The problem was never fixed and we haven’t flown home yet. We have new flights booked on Delta but only because Delta took pity....West Jet does no refunds or reticketing. If flights are missed you're out on of luck!
Pros: Nothing same useable
Cons: No need
Pros: when you enter Canada and then travel through YVR for another flight it is a total waste. Not the fault of the airline but the way they do things with security
Cons: i would love to seat beside passenger who doesn’t snore bery loud.
Cons: I wasn’t able to choose a seat
Pros: Casual attitude.
Cons: better food option than a few dusty pretzels and a thimble of water.
Pros: Fantastic crew!
Cons: Delayed 2 hours
Pros: Quick flight and it was on schedule
Cons: Better option for movies and tv shows
Pros: The night skyline from above as you fly into LAX is simply awe inspiring with the miles and miles of lights everywhere you look. Quick flight and no hassles.
Cons: The 3 rows of clubs seats ahead me were catered to quite well, but maybe a current dividing that and economy is necessary so you don’t feel so 2nd class.
Pros: The flight didn’t get cancelled. We didn’t crash.
Cons: Flight was delayed because it came from Toronto and it needed to be cleaned.
Pros: The crew was friendly and provided great service.
Pros: On time, free coffee, free pretzels
Cons: Going home.
Cons: Super Cold airplane and it’s not the only west Ket that was freezing. the crew kept skipping my row for drinks for some reason. the landing was rough.
Cons: Booked our seats 24 hours in advance and could not get seats together. Airline expects us to pay extra for reasonable expectations as that
Pros: Crew very kind and smily. Very punctual.
Cons: Prices ridiculous, one coors light 7dollars and with 7 dollars you buy 12 coors light in Mexico!!!. Food really bad and prices worse. No entertainment.
Pros: Left and arrived on time, friendly Westjet crew as always.
Cons: Tiny TV screens, no real food, seat cushion was so compacted it was uncomfortable.
Pros: The crew were very amiable and one member in particular was quite funny during the seat belt demonstration. First one I've paid attention to the entire time.
Cons: Plane was freezing cold and seats were quite uncomfortable.
Pros: Made it home faster than thought.
Cons: Could use a pillow/blanket on a long, overnight flight like this. Small amounts of turbulence also cancelled in-flight services. Very uncomfortable flight.
Cons: They stopped renting out iPads on board. If don’t have own screens or for some reason couldn’t download app, makes for a long flight. Overall, great flight; all on time. Leg room borderline. Window seats can’t sneak to bathroom without waking others. Pretty much need to all get up to let them out.
Cons: They used the rough air condition story to hip us out of full service, The conditions were fine . I bought the plus and did that because of a food option. They ripped me off Thanks Bryan ELLIOTT Previous flyer Lost my trust
Pros: Plane, stewardesses on the plane
Cons: Where to start. Booked a higher priced ticket as layover was minimal. Westjet later emails, saying layover is now 7 hours?!?! We booked a connector with air canada with only a 2hr layover. We decided to keep the checked bags on the Westjet later connector to be less hassle. Westjet agents at airport did not mention that you cannot do that. So it wasn’t until we arrived at the layover point, we were told we had to pull the bags and re-check them in with Air Canada, go through the whole rigamarile of checkin, baggage check, and security. Not something you want to deal with when you are at the tail end of a red-eye flight. So thumbs down. In Westjet’s defense, they did give me a 200 dollar credit toward a future flight when I kicked up a fuss about the change to a 7-hour layover.
Pros: Boarding and flight attendants.
Cons: Not enough food selection
Pros: Price was perfect.
Cons: Airlines don't have small tv's to watch and give out cheap snacks. Flairaire is so cheap you even have to buy your beverage unless it's a glass of water. Wasn't overly impressed with this airline. Also getting your itenairy online was also difficult. I had to change email information and call customer service which was in Spanish not English language. Then while lining up at the airport to process and check bags there was no computer to self serve and get through the line up faster and efficiently. The main clerk that helps with the line up was rude to passengers. Stating that on a domestic flight you need to be 2 hours ahead of boarding. Which most of us were a good 90 minutes to pre boarding. All of the struggles can be avoided with self serve check-in and prepaid bag check. The flight and crew were friendly and pleasant.
Pros: It was a quiet flight. Quick loading. Got to sit with my friends.
Cons: Seats were rock hard. Less leg space, price of bags to high, too many people bring on over-sized carry on taking up all the overhead bins. No entertainment options for flight
Pros: Staff was extremely friendly, super helpful. Wasn't as jam packed as most flights so it was nice to have some extra leg room.
Cons: No in flight movie or distraction of some sort but was still a very calm quiet flight which is just as good.
Pros: On time efficient friendly helpful crew
Cons: Expensive food choices, small seats , small seat back pockets to store my stuff !
Cons: We sat on the tarmac in the plane for 4 hours when 20 minutes into the delay the flight attendants knew they weren't going to be able to fly with us, and instead of cancelling the flight 20 minutes into the delay we sat on the plane for 4 hours while the crew knew we were not going to take off. There were a handful of infants and children (my 10 month old nephew included) and for the crew to keep the passengers on the plane for 4 hours when they knew the flight was going to be cancelled is unacceptable.
Pros: Crew ok.
Cons: Was told need to fix my ticket from Bangkok. So after waiting over an hour to get ticket fixed, found out didn't need to. Then a rush through security . Lucky Westjet flight delayed (usual) And made flight by running to gate. Then get to sit on plane for an hour. AGAIN. Two flights on Westjet and two delayed and two sat in the plane an hour. First time missed my connecting to Hong Kong and Bangkok. I know nothing perfect, but this seems to be the norm. Next time will try to find someone else to fly with.
Pros: No much..
Cons: To start.. due to your company combining two out going Toronto flights in Vancouver and then being late off the ground in Vancouver because if that we missed our connecting flight in Toronto to Ottawa. This in turn made us miss a very important appointment in Ottawa. I’m sure the company loves that they saved money by combining those flights however you flunked the test with me. All the corporate could care less about me missing my flight after they look at the bottom line but I will be taking my $1600 plus money elsewhere in the future because of the aggravation, frustration and I don’t care attitude that your company has provided me. I’ll I want to do is get back to Vancouver in my return flight hopefully put most likely on time with my two girls and forget that your company does exists. Thanks for the headaches and goodbye..
Pros: Hannah was a lovely accommodating woman thourghly enjoyed her service, i slept the whole way to Prince George. Crew was welcoming and accommodating.
Cons: Didnt know i bought west jet plus seats. Enjoyed my service though. May think of buying plus again some time soon on one of my up comming trips
Pros: Some of the people who helped with wheelchair assistance for my dad were kind.
Cons: 1. I previously asked for wheelchair assistance for my father and when we dropped off our bags the agent said she would get someone and told us to sit in the waiting area. After five minutes no one came so I went to the assistance desk and they said they hadn't been informed so they sent someone right away. If I hadn't been there to ask, I don't know how long my mom and dad would have sat there. 2. The man who wheeled my dad to the gate was very nice and he said he arranged for all of us to sit together, which was nice because I wasn't able to sit with my parents since we weren't able to choose the same row when we booked. When we boarded, we found out that the seats hadn't been changed, and the person who previously booked the seat beside my parents refused to move so I sat in the row beside them. These problems were minor but they highlighted a lack of communication between staff and the attendant dealing with us wasn't the most friendly either. I used to fly westjet in the early days when I still lived in Canada and I've noticed that the level of service has gone down. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity and space to comment. Asunción Perez
Pros: Friendly flight attendants
Cons: I traveled from Vancouver to Edmonton today on WS 320 and one of my luggage was delayed. I had to wait through many phone call queues to get in contact with an agent and none of them were very useful. I was informed that my baggage would arrive in Edmonton at 5pm and be contacted to arrange delivery options but I had not heard anything from them and it is already past 8pm. I had to stay at home to wait for the phone call which resulted me in canceling my evening plans. The luggage contains frozen home made goods and various food items I brought back from my recent trip to Taiwan. With the food not being in a freezer for over 12 hours at this point they've likely all gone bad. I am extremely displeased with the bagging service especially when I had PAID to get my bags checked. I was told that packing food in checked bags comes with a risk and is a game but everything in life is a risk and I find that excuse from an agent very unacceptable. I am also very upset that WestJet does not offer compensation for food damages because the foods in my luggage are definitely worth over $200 and some are not obtainable in Canada.
Cons: delayed 2 hours and I missed my connecting flight
Cons: I dislike that westjet tried to get me to pay for my seats when I initially bought the ticket, only to discover later that the seats are free if I choose them at check in. I didn’t pay the seat charge but there is a breach of trust in them trying to con me that makes me not want to fly with them again.
Pros: Actually, and sadly, not very much.
Cons: These guys just will not take any action to seat you next to the people you would like to sit with, even if you are married to them and have been for over 30 years! No amount of asking nicely will get you any action at all. Six hour flights and you get a coffee and cookie. Flight stewardess makes you wait in the aisle behind row 3 for the bathroom - sure, just stand there and tower over some other poor traveller, don't stand right next to me - I'm a flight stewardess for goodness sakes! Having flown professionally, and for business and leisure for over 40 years I offer this advice - pick another airline - these guys do not deserve to be in the business.
Pros: Order ahead food was easy and selection was tasty
Cons: Bring a book! Apps to have your entertainment on individual devices is a bad idea.
Pros: Flight was delayed an hour
Pros: The breezy, confident preflight announcements of the crew, including (from the Captain) "We are flying into Kelowna today, where the weather is always awesome even though it is a bit overcast and 5 degrees C..." and from the flight attendant on landing, "We have arrived in Kelowna. If you live here--Lucky You! You are almost home! And if you don't live here, welcome to the Okanagan! We hope you enjoy your stay." I was only disappointed that the sentence including 'lucky you' was not included in the French translation. C'est d'hommage...
Pros: friendly and relaxed crew, clean plane, on time
Cons: No entertainment center on plane
Pros: Quick and comfortable
Cons: No tv but understanding for price of flight
Cons: To the best of my knowledge I paid for a window seat on my trip to Montreal. It was the only option I elected to pay for, yet, I found myself in the middle seat. A personal life lesson we’ll learned and an experience to be remembered & considered, under advisement, on any future bookings.
Pros: The flight attendants were amazing!
Cons: The head phone jack for my tv was broken which was annoying but not the worst thing ever because I just listened along with my wife beside me. If I hadn't known the person beside me and have been able to listen to share theirs it would have been way worse.
Cons: No choice for seating - my husband and I were seated separately
Cons: Didn't know I needed to download Westjet app before the flight and bring my own device
Pros: Low cost, supportive seating
Cons: Meals are extra Arrived a bit early and had to wait about 15 min for someone to attach the gate
Pros: Crew were really nice and good entertainment.
Cons: Paying for food and alcohol was a bit of a downer.
Pros: At 6’9” tall, it was decent
Cons: Not on the flight
Cons: Seats are thick but zero lumbar. Back too short at shoulders and I'm only 5'8"
Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
Cons: Flight was delayed over 3 hours because they had No crew to operate the flight! Such poor customer service on Americans part as well. No answers and rude agents when you tried to ask any questions
Pros: Everything was on time considering the heavy Holidays travels.
Pros: Air Crew was professional and polite - flight was quick and lasted less than 90 minutes in the air, was overall enjoyable
Cons: Gate attendant was fairly rude (could be a result of holiday travel stress) - several travelers didn’t speak English fluently, and she would snap at them or roll her eyes they weren’t comprehending instructions. Boarded extremely early (almost an hour) but sat on tarmac for some time - eventually took off about 20 minutes late. Not airlines fault and likely result of holiday backlog Retrieving baggage from plane was biggest issue - use a carry on to but was required to valet bag as opposed to storing overhead. Baggage unloading was late (again, holiday backlog) but no personnel were available to inform passengers of delay, and bags were not in initial cart. Resulted a delay of offloading by roughly 20 minutes. Was ultimately found in the second wave of luggage, and witnessed baggage handlers tossing luggage carelessly onto cart floor. Nothing was damaged but was annoyed at lack of communication and overall disorganization.
Pros: Seat extraordinarily comfortable
Pros: The speed at which everything was handled.
Cons: It was great
Pros: The crew was amazing, and the duration of flight time was reasonable
Cons: Comfort of the seat, space between seats
Pros: No amazing crew, just average. The should airline should have follow through on a specific request, but the airline's computer wipes out such things.
Cons: Airlines should listen to the requests of the passengers.
Pros: All was ok accept they charge 32dollar for bag.
Cons: Travel with free bag.
Pros: On time,
Cons: WiFi didn't work.
Cons: The booking process. Went through a third party (ka$@k) and at the last minute was transferred to a cheap aggregator I had never heard of. Needless to say customer service was a joke. Plain fraud.
Pros: Flight was smooth...take off to landing
Cons: Typical tight seating, aircraft showing age.
Cons: Flight delayed 24 hrs
Pros: The seat was comfortable and the flight attendant was very helpful with all the questions I had, thanks for the wonderful first time flying.
Cons: Nothing give a 10/10
Cons: Make seat available for two of us together not every one in a deferent row
Pros: Even thou flight was delayed we arrive at a decent time.
Cons: Tray table was dirty
Cons: Flight was 45 mins late. No drinks or snacks. Small plane. Forced to valet checkin carryon luggage :/
Cons: Flight delayed by 2 hours due mechanical issue Missed connecting flight Waited in line for 2 hours for a hotel comp. had to pay 20$ to get to hotel because there was no shuttle Still stuck in Dallas. Never made it to Sam fran. Extremely disappointed I expect compensation
Pros: The fight was awesome from takeoff to landing. This has been one of the first flights that my ears did not pop and hurt in years!!! We took off about 10 minutes late waiting on a crew member but made the time up in the air. Great flight!!
Pros: Friendly, professional, polite, perfect.
Cons: Flight arrived over 40 min late and despite my connecting flight still being connected to the gate I was told I couldn’t board. There were 5 people trying to connect to the same flight so it’s pretty rediculous that we were told to rebook when the plane didn’t leave the gate for 15 more minutes. This was the call of the airline and it was handled poorly. The rebooking agent was also extremely rude and seemed totally self absorbed. This was my worst flying experience out of approximately 50 flights this year. Never again American.
Pros: The flight crew were friendly.
Cons: The boarding staff member was extremely overwhelmed being the only person at the desk. She visibly looked frazzled & made it well known. It made me feel insecure about the flight. Then the maintenance crew didn’t notice that there was a dead bird in one of the engines until after we were fully boarded and had to sit on the plane for an hour over our expected time. I appreciated the fact that they were being through for our safety, but catch that before you have people board.
Pros: The crew was great and made light of a relatively tense situation. This was a connecting flight for many passengers which was delayed so many of us were missing our connections. The crew still did a great job keeping everyone comfortable and boarding us quickly.
Cons: Unfortunately our plane was grounded in Chicago before our leg of the trip even began. By the time it arrived in YYZ many of us would already be missing connections. Due to a smaller plane we have to stow most of our carry on below which caused a bit of chaos while disembarking trying to retrieve bags and hustle to the next flights. Since I knew before leaving YYZ we were quite delayed my husband drove to ORD to pick me up instead of waiting 24hr for the next flight to St. Louis. It added 8 hours of driving for him to an already long day but we made the best of it.
Cons: Boarding at Terminal 3 gate A8 was slow and a single line makes for a lengthy process.
Cons: Nothing bad on this particular flight but im traumatized from my auckland to sydney flight
Pros: Nice crew
Cons: Old equipment
Pros: good price and a good route
Cons: This turned out to be a 'code share' flight operated by American Airlines. As such, neither Qantas nor American Airlines would allow me to buy premium seats so we could have extra leg room. They said the 'code share' blocks seat sales! Be ware Also found out that American Airlines does not serve meals on flights from Toronto to LAX. I was told they only serve meals on "international flights" but that I could buy a sandwich or snack. Unfortunately they only had 4 sandwiches on board , which sold within the first 2 rows of the plane!
Pros: Boarding was a breeze
Pros: Snow ruined flight. Crew was great.
Cons: No entertainment with this flight. Cookies good.
Pros: The seats were comfortable and the boarding process was very well organized.
Cons: The plane had a very good entertainment system with a lot of good movies, but the flight had no earphones available, so only the passengers that had their own ear/headphones could use it. Other than that, the flight attendants were not kind in any way and items present in the onboard menu, were not available, as I asked for Pringles and there was none. I did not see anybody eating some food in this flight, other than the mini pretzels served. How a 3hour flight arriving at 09 PM, had no food onboard?
Pros: We missed this flight.
Cons: Background info: we flew from Dublin to Toronto (Aer Lingus) and we were supposed to fly Toronto to Los Angeles on American Airlines; however, we had a British Airways flight number for both of these flights. We missed our connecting flight in Toronto with American Airlines (we had a 2 hour layover) despite landing on-time (de-boarded a few minutes late). I suggest avoiding the Toronto airport ALWAYS as every passenger must pick up his/her luggage even if you have a connecting flight, and then re-check the baggage with the next flight. Apparently the baggage handlers were on strike and some of the customs agents as well which added to the delays. Well, after going through Canadian customs and picking up our luggage (which took quite awhile) we arrived at the American Airlines ticketing kiosk about 45 minutes before our flight. The computer told us we were too late for this flight and to see a representative. We proceeded to wait in line for an American Airlines representative only to be told this was Aer Lingus' fault (we had just flown with them); even though we had a BA flight number.. After searching for an Aer Lingus representative we were finally told they were probably all on the Aer Lingus flight that was currently about to leave. An Aer Lingus representative was paged to the ticketing counter (took well over 30 minutes for anyone to show up) and what proceeded was an argument (for well over an hour) between British Airways and Aer Lingus representatives about whose responsibility it was to re-book us. After an hour at least of poor customer service, we were finally rebooked by British Airways on the last flight to LAX (on Air Canada). Moral of the story: avoid Toronto and fly direct.
Pros: Boarding as quick and efficient. Staff were friendly and courteous
Cons: Nothing bad to comment on as the trip was a smooth trip
Cons: Connecting to LAX through Toronto was frustrating. We were told in Dublin that our bags were checked all the way through to LA and they weren't. (Been through Toronto before and thought maybe they had changed the procedure) Airport signage could be improved to accurately inform of baggage pickup and drop off with your connecting air carrier. (Our traveling companions ended up missing the flight home in the confusion.) The airport is going through renovations, maybe it will improve. The flight to LA wasn't stocked properly with food. They ran out of sandwiches/fruit and cheese plates by the first few rows in the main cabin. No earbuds available for those who needed them. Cramped seating. This flight was with BA partner American Airlines
Cons: A few issues: 1) I was not given seat tgth with my 9 year old and was not helped in finding seats together 2) they lost my bag after I took it through customs and I'm still (a week already) waiting for it.
Cons: Too long of a layover when flying from san diego through phoenix to detroit. Need to look for improvement in scheduling to make this a trip enjoyable.
Pros: Crew was apologetic.
Cons: PHL ground stop no known reason. Good weather. Even pilot was at a loss. 4 hours total delay, 3 of which spent in tarmac.
Cons: The fact the flight was delayed for 5 hours due to weather.
Pros: The AA app for entertainment works well, friendly crew.
Cons: The flight was delayed 90+ minutes, yet they didn't tell anyone until 90 minutes prior to departure. They knew of system delays and should have updated many hours before the flight but they didn't and had us all there very early waiting around doing nothing.
Pros: The crew is good
Pros: Easy direct flight from Detroit to Miami. The flight was on time, and we had no problems. The cost of the flight was approximately $180 round trip, which I thought was a good value.
Cons: Checking a single bag costs $25 each way, which is irritating when they beg to check all the carry-ons at the gate.
Pros: It was very smooth once we were able to take off!
Cons: We were delayed in the plane almost an hour with no cool air. They had technical problems.
Pros: Everything was great. Slept the entire flight.
Cons: Delayed three separate times, American Airlines employees were rude when asked why the flight kept getting delayed. Arrived 3 hours later than expected.
Cons: Flight from Ny to Detroit was delayed for 2 hrs. Coming back was worse after multiple delays, they cancelled the flight. they put me on a flight for next day with 2 connections which will reach ny almost 20 hrs later, no aplogises, no hotel room. After more calls put me in another United flight later that night which also finally got cancelled. I had to book a new flight with delta and paid $460 on the spot for that. Still awaiting my refund from American for the return leg which was cancelled and left a lady traveling alone stranded at Detroit airport in the night. Apology or compensation -- forget it, you will never get that! Only now if they can refund my cancelled flight...
Pros: Finally getting to my final destination and out of DFW.
Cons: The flight was originally scheduled to take off at 8:20 pm, but due to several delays did not end up getting off the ground until after 11 pm. After being in the air for about 45 minutes we were informed that there were issues with the engine and that we would be turning around and heading back to Dallas. By this point it was after midnight, and although I was appreciative that safely is a priority, there was no communication as to what the next steps were. After landing we were finally told that we would have to deplane, and after we sat around the gate for awhile we were informed that the flight would be delayed until 5 am. Being 12:50 am at this point a hotel would have been nice, but we were informed that AA was "out of hotels" but that if we wanted we could have a $12 food voucher to use at the one restaurant that was open several terminals over. The AA employee assisting in handing out the food vouchers seemed extremely unapologetic about the situation which didn't help with the frustration everyone was feeling. I will not be booking with AA again, and will be passing along my negative experience to family and friends. It is worth spending the extra money on a ticket for an airline that is more reliable with better customer service.
Cons: The only reason for the one star, is that there was no entertainment or did on the flight. So those categories didn't apply. For me, in my flight experience, it's to get to where i need to be and not to be entertained. Food and drinks aren't needed, I can get that when i get to my destination.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Didn’t get to pick seats
Pros: The boarding was smooth and quick, flight arrived early. Service onboard was very good
Pros: It's a direct flight.
Cons: Everything - the plane was last updated in 1989 (you can still see where the cathode ray screens were bolted to the central overhead bins), the entertainment is laughable, several didn't work - passengers were given choice of putting up with that or getting off flight. A flight to endure, not enjoy
Pros: New airbus 350-390 are worst than older planes. Economic class space is even smaller now, no storage space for the last few rows
Cons: Last 3-5 central rows in economy class have no space for carryons. On top of that, at arrival we realized they have lost our bagage, all 6, so we’re left with carryons. This may be our very last trip with Lufthansa.
Pros: Nothing at all.
Cons: A 1 hour flight, delayed. Meant I missed my entire flight and stayed I Ottawa International for 8 joirs
Cons: There was no coffee or tea available on the flight
Pros: Great staff!
Pros: Quick flight. Dlient Service in check-in was excellent, she went the extra mile to change my return flight to a more reasonable time.
Cons: No snacks unless you are willing to pay more than 10 dollars lol
Pros: On time and pleasant staff
Pros: Breakfast was excellent
Cons: TV screen were too dark
Pros: Great service from flight attendants. Flight was smooth once airborne
Cons: Delayed Flight Seats seemed very small for an Air Canada Plane
Cons: My baggage did not make the flight. It took 3 days to return it to me
Pros: Once boarded, the crew was pleasant and very helpful. It was a smooth flight.
Cons: Air Canada check-in at YOW was overwhelmed. There were not enough agents to handle the amount of passengers or flights they had going out. I waited 50 minutes in a check-in line and almost missed my flight. Passengers in front and behind me had the same experience. Air Canada really needs to examine their operations at YOW and manage the situation better.
Pros: Walking past the Turkish Airlines desk in Dulles and knowing I would NEVER have to interact with these monsters again.
Cons: I am an experienced traveler. I've been to 17 countries and have flown over a million miles in both business and coach. My wife encountered a problem in Istanbul that involved an airport transit visa through Canada. I am certain that any other airline we’ve ever flown would’ve assisted us, since it was easily resolved. To Turkish Airlines, this is simply a part of their business model and a chance to make more money. It took about 8 hours of our time at 5 different airport locations to eventually buy new tickets to get back the next day. Our original tickets say: “REISSUE With 200.00 USD penalty. What I didn’t see was the fine print at the bottom: “Turkish Airlines reserves the right to change rules regarding ticket changes and refunds.”. They mean it. As bad as our personal experience was, the real reason we are so appalled is that we were there long enough to see this is the norm for them. In our single day there, we saw at least 100 other travelers going through similar things. The ONLY solution ever offered is to purchase another ticket. We witnessed several people weeping. Many losing control and shouting. Their own personnel were screaming at customers (in a separate office area though, it was all yucks and laughing). These were people of all nationalities. Africans, Asians, Europeans. We were lucky because we had the means to purchase new tickets. Others clearly didn’t. I really don’t know what happened to some of them. One moment was very symbolic of the entire experience. Another vanquished traveler was paying $843 for a new ticket with cash. He handed her $845 but she, of course, had no change. Instead of the $5, he gave her two $1 bills. I had one in my pocket so gave it to her as well. She held my $1 bill up and pointed to the corner which had a very small piece torn off…no ink was missing…and sneered “I can’t accept this. She did this simply because she could. We were powerless. She knew it and reveled in it.
Pros: Got there with minimal delays
Cons: Inattentive staff, broken tray table, seats not cleaned between flight ( covered in food crumbs), small seats
Pros: MIGHT give me a refund, and not WILL give me a refund
Cons: Service personnel at Air Canada were very helpful and re-booked me several times and when none of those flights left, they said they would refer me to refund department.
Pros: Boarding was excellent, most of the staff except one was excellent. The flight was smooth. Got hooked on a new series that I started watching on the plane.
Cons: The wait time between flights on the way home was brutal but you expect that if you are flying on points. What made it worse was that I had to leave the secure area and collect my bags then wait 8 hours in the airport only to go through security again. On top of that trying to get my baggage tag there was a female agent that should have retired 100 years ago directing people like it was our fault she still had to work. If you can't be nice you should not be in customer service.
Pros: Long slow lines. Insufficient signage for US Global Entry. Too few and slow US Customs. Largest plane ever flown to Florida from Northeast.
Cons: Flight delayed by 2 hours
Pros: Staff were incredibly kind, courteous, and knowledgeable. I need wheelchair assistance and they handled that beautifully, asking thoughtful questions about my needs and adapting their plans to my answers. They also helped me with stowing my carry-on since I would have struggled alone.
Cons: Unfortunately, through no fault of the flight crew or gate crew, we got one of the few remaining planes in the fleet that are so old that they can't fit a full carry-on bag in the overhead bins or under the seats. Larger carry-on items had to be checked through to final destination, which made a lot of passengers upset -- either because they were business people who needed to be able to work on the flight, or they had important baby gear in there that they would need before that, or they were traveling far away using multiple airlines and were rightly worried about lost luggage.
Pros: Rouge flights are not comfortable no room for your legs and on a four and half flight very uncomfortable. Soft drinks are free but not even a bag of nuts.
Cons: Bag damaged. No one to report damage to
Cons: My seat partner had a dog with her. I like dogs but it was more of a irritant and distraction, didn't seem that nice for the dog either. What happened to the pretzel/nut snacks?
Pros: Efficient boarding
Cons: The headphone jack on my seat was broken which for a 5.5 hour flight is quite difficult. The only compensation the air flight attendant offered was a glass of wine, which I couldn't drink due to being on medication. I had purchased 3 meals and 2 snacks so she could have comped one of them. This is the second time I experienced this on Air Canada with little to no appropriate service recovery. I had my iPad~an offer of free wii fii would have also been an option
Pros: It was a short flight and there was entertainment on board.
Cons: Missed my original flight due to the delay in the flight from Newark. Had to be placed on standby and this was the third available flight to Toronto I got on. Boarding took forever for some reason. People were in line for at least half an hour so they gave out free earphones to compensate. Otherwise you'd have to purchase it.
Cons: On a 4+ hour flight, I was really surprised that there were no snacks or food included in the ticket; only paid "cafe" options.
Cons: Flight was cancelled after we already were sitting in the plane for 1.5 hour.
Pros: - plane had more legroom than the usual - plane left and landed on time, an always welcome outcome for an AC flight - in flight movie selection was good
Cons: - plane was overbooked, and boarding took a while - staff only offered drink refreshments (ex. coke, coffee, etc) once, rather than the usual twice. The other time they just came by with water, which the flight attendant accidentally over-poured and spilled some on the middle passenger between me and the attendant. Good thing it was only water... - more turbulence than usual, but out of the control of the pilot
Cons: The last leg of our entire trip, and it was late. We left about 1.5 hours late and they had trouble getting the gate to the plane when we landed. A long trip home was made even longer. I was very surprised that there were so many issues with timeliness on AC flights. In our outbound to Athens, two of the three flights left late, and they had to rebook part of our trip to accommodate. And the return trip was more of the same. I expected AC to be world-class and it was more like a regional airline in terms of performance.
Pros: The flight crew went advice and beyond to help look after our two kids (ages 2 and 4). It was a full flight but they were the only children on board.
Cons: Baggage fees and leg room.
Cons: Audio jack for entertainment weren't working.
Pros: The entertainment system was fine as far as selection goes.
Cons: The stewardesses were slow in doling out beverages, so much so that they didn't even get half the plane. As well as I was told they don't do free snacks on the linger flights and this being a shorter flight and should have therefore given out pretzels or whatever.
Cons: Very rude staff, my flight from Dublin was delayed for three hours on the runway why they fix the leak for the restrooms. Once we landed I had to clear customs in Canada and get to the new flight. They told me when I finally had to make through the airport and through customs that I need to manage my time better and understand and give myself plenty of time to make the flight.. REALLY??? It wasn't my fault that their crappy plane wasn't working right wasn't my fault we were delayed but I need to manage my time better I think they fell and bumped their head!!
Cons: I will never fly Air Canada between Detroit and Toronto again. Both ways the crew looked exhausted and like they were rather be anyplace but working our flight. Both times they took our carry ons without giving us a choice. For our flight out this was a stressful nuisance because we had to catch a connecting overseas flight. This involved my husband and son going to baggage claim and then having to go back through customs and TSA. The whole point of carry ons is to avoid this. Luckily we didn't miss our international flight but not a good way to begin a trip of a lifetime. Flight was completely uncomfortable and it seemed like no one cared. Should have driven
Pros: Airlines keep the cabin too cold. On the domestic of the travel leg blankets were for additional pay which is crazy - I understand about meals, but blankets are required only because the conditions offered by the airline are uncomfortable. One luggage was lost, but that is now almost part of travel.
Pros: Staff was courteous and friendly. Check-in was quick and painless, despite the mobile boarding pass not working properly.
Cons: Did not ear food or use the in-flight entertainment. Seats are TINY! As a person with very broad shoulders, I found myself literally wedged into a corner as to not bump the person next to me. These planes should not be 3 seater when they are designed for two.
Cons: Delayed flight, nearly missed connection, lost luggage, inconsiderate staff
Pros: Staff was at least friendly
Cons: For a 5+ hour flight only beverages were offered - anything else (such as a snack or small meal) had to be purchased. Very cheap service IMO. The selection of entertainment (movies/tv shows) was exceptionally limited and out of date. Their way of boarding the plane (via zone) is very backwards as families with children weren't asked to board until half way through the plane loading (unless those families had already paid for the more expensive zone upgrades). Most airlines let them load first to give them extra time. My checked bag was 1.2kg over the limit so I had to open the bag and switch 1.2kg of clothing into my carry on in front of the rest of those checking in. What an embarrassment and such foolery. All in all Westjet does a better job for trips across Canada. Will not be trying Air Canada again.
Cons: Squeezed in like sardines. Nickled and dimed at every turn.
Pros: They our sits for a better one because of my 6 year old son.
Cons: Never made connecting flight due to delays on first leg of the trip. Airline was generally apathetic to situation.
Cons: Air Canada as well as WestJet charge exuberant amounts for local flights. They offer services and leg room of a budget airline while charging prices at the top range of a regular airline. Lack of proper competition in Canada allows Air Canada and WestJet to charge whatever they want since there are no other real options
Cons: Cancelled my flight. I have zero faith in Air Canada.
Pros: A nice short flight: there isn't much to say here, but the flight was smooth.
Cons: The crewman seemed somewhat pushy. Perhaps a recalcitrant passenger put him in a bad mood.
Pros: Crew was courteous and efficient.
Cons: No variety in menu for a long time (business class)
Cons: Want a refund
Pros: The flight qmwent without issue once we took iff
Cons: There was maintenance needed on the plane before we could take off and that delayed us further from take off.
Cons: Late crew caused delays
Pros: Economy seating for such a small plane was great.
Cons: This flight- one of the crew (female) had a miserable attitude. Like we were an inconvenience.
Pros: The flight was easy and quick. These small planes are actually pretty comfortable.
Cons: Waiting for a gate in Chicago is never fun. Most people on the plane seemed to have tight connections, and I'm guessing most of us missed them. I only made mine because the next flight was delayed.
Cons: Flight could’ve been on time.
Pros: See above
Cons: See above
Pros: Left early and arrived early!
Cons: WiFi didn’t work
Pros: The airbus seats were far more comfortable than the 737-800 seats that we had on the orevious outgoing flight. It shows comfort is possible when the airline selects the right equipment.
Cons: Not delay the flight causing me to not have enough time to connect In Frankfurt.
Pros: Just outstanding handling of any upcoming issue, comforting travelers, helping lost moms not knowing what to do with their unbehaving sceaming kids. Helping rude business travelers to get more alcohol without charging them, and many challenges along that line, just handled amazingly!
Cons: just the food items available, would be so nice to have a few more options for purchase!
Pros: The connection time Mach very well。
Cons: I learned that 3 flight together long hours have no food been sever and we have time to get food from airport. Next time I will do better☺。
Cons: All of my fligts has been delayed and resceduled, so instead of 18 hours to go to hawaii, it took me 36h
Pros: On time. Comfortable and smooth flight
Cons: Delays due to to weather is not a new thing to worry, but flight delay should be informed early to the passengers so that I should have planned the arrival to the airport accordingly, but I was told just before the gate prior to boarding time and the delay was around 3 hrs.
Pros: The United staff and flight were great, no complaints. We arrived a few minutes too late for my partner to check in with his luggage so they even arranged it so that he would be able to still catch the flight but the luggage would be sent on the following flight. Definitely saved us from the stress of having to be split up and worried on when there would be room for him to catch an alternate flight.
Cons: My complaints are with Newark airport (EWR). The AirTran took over 10-15min to arrive and when it finally did we had to get off and wait for another one which didn’t have space for everyone so a group of us had to wait even longer for the next one to arrive. A guy said he missed his flight last time that happened. They had more trains going to the parking lot for customers leaving the airport than they did for people catching their flights! Then there was only one security check in line, even for expedited check in. Despite allocating extra time for our overall commute, we still made it right on time for boarding so make sure to give yourself PLENTY of time when dealing with EWR.
Cons: The fact my luggage didn’t arrive with me in Detroit and that we were 30 min late and couldn’t get off the plane because of lighting like come on!!
Pros: The flight crew was courteous and efficient.
Cons: The boarding time lasted an hour as the front desk staff at the gate insisted that I needed a visa travel document for my connection in China (multiple leg journey). What they failed to realize is that nobody needs a visa for China if they’re connecting in transit. It took a phone call and 3 staff members to sort things out. Not something that I want to deal with at 5:00 am. Moreover, due to the de icing, the flight was late and i just made it to my connecting flight in Newark. It was quite a hair-raising experience overall.
Pros: Boarding was quick and the crew was attentive
Cons: The flight left an hour late. When arrived in Detroit the ground crew left our bags on the plane. It took over another hour to figure out what happened. The attendant was not on duty.
Pros: Nothing really everyhing was mediocre.
Cons: Delayed baggage, smelly flight, food
Pros: Not much, the plane and crew were fine. The RJ's are getting old and dirty though.
Cons: Delayed, delayed, delayed. The crew is less than sympathetic. No way would I fly United if it wasn't a non-stop flight.
Pros: There were five flights out of our gate and we couldn't hear who was supposed to board because three people would be cross talking at the same time. All united flights.
Pros: Timely boarding and excellent service
Cons: The allottedseating and leg space per person. I felt extremely closed in, it was very to get things out of my carry on bags. I could barely move.
Cons: It was a long delay, which meant I missed my connection at O'Hare even though I had a 3 hour window.
Pros: Crew was nice
Cons: Flight was 4 hours late. The seat was so small, I could not open the tablet (folding tablet in armrest). I am 6" tall and medium built. That tablet can only fit a kid
Pros: seats are comfortable
Cons: 1)Very cold cabin atmosphere. 2)Very noisy passengers wish the attendants can announce saying "since its a late night flight we request our passengers to keep their voices low" Some people just don't have common sense
Pros: On time. Announcer at gate could have been a little clearer.
Cons: No complaints.
Pros: Quick boarding m
Cons: 1.5 hour delay
Pros: Efficient and on time
Pros: Kind flight attendants
Pros: I liked that when the plane actually arrived to newark that the boarding was swift. The pilot and flight crew were good.
Cons: The plane was late. I flew out of Detroit because it was cheaper than flying out of Cleveland where I live. So due to this flight being late I had to pay more then expected to get my car out of the parking garage and got home an hour and a half later than expected which got me home at 3am versus 130am (original time I would have been home IF the plane would have been on time).
Cons: I was put on an Air Canada flight and sat on the tarmac for almost THREE hours in MTL. Finally took off and am stuck in Toronto overnight. Air Canada was very unhelpful. I have to sleep in the airport. No food vouchers. Sucks.
Pros: Boarding was quick, staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: No in flight entertainment...
Pros: The flight attendants were very responsive
Cons: The food was very disappointing. Dry fried chicken with rice.
Cons: My seat didn't recline, no free movies/TV.
Pros: Flight attendants tried.. United booked a hotel room for the night.
Cons: Poor communication on gate change. Delay on flight boarding, and there were issues with engine. Stuck on the tarmac with no AC, they had us off-boarded since everyone was sweating. Reboarded after, no AC still until takeoff. Delayed more than two hours- this was last flight, and caused me to miss connection flight. Was supposed to arrive in final destination at 11pm that night- ended up getting there at 9:40AM next day.
Pros: I have absolutely nothing to say good about this airport
Cons: We were canceled (our flight in Newark) were herded around like cattle and then left to fend for ourselves .. With no apologies .. We got jumbled around to three different flights until we found one that would fit they try to get us on one flight and boarded in like 45 minutes and there was no way were going to make it manageable us around again , it was awful..
Cons: Delay caused us to miss last flight of day. We have been sleeping on floor of airport for 9 hours. Same thing happened in the beginning of the trip from dallas to chicago. Oh, it was our honeymoon!
Pros: Getting home finally
Cons: Miscommunication with customer service regarding stand by flights, representatives were extremely rude, spent 7 hrs at airport during departure and 7 at airport during arrival, constant gate changes and that's just to say the least
Pros: The crew on United was very helpful on my July 2 flight
Cons: You sold me a ticket on Lufthansa. When I got to Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris I waited 45 minutes in line to check in with Lufthansa. When I got to the counter they said they had no record of my reservation. When I showed them the Lufthansa reservation they told me it actually was for a United flight, even though it clearly said Lufthansa . I had to wait another 45 minutes in the United line to retrieve my boarding pass, then about another hour to go through passport control and security. I barely made my flight. I will never make a reservation through Kayak again. I am deleting your app.
Pros: Never on Air Canada again. Food was miserable. They literally told me that they ran out of food (on the flight from Montreal to Casablanca). No kidding. They told us that the flight was full and no more food was available! When we asked for water, they did not bring water. I am not sure if they were out of water because the flight was full! That would be something! Bathrooms were not usable. Utterly dirty. My six-year old daughter refused to use the bathrooms. Water was flowing and the smell was horrible. They should clean that. I can go on but what is the point???
Cons: The list would be too long. So, what did I like is a better question in this case. Honestly, I am not even sure if I liked anything. I mean some people were nice, but why? Do I expect people to be rude? I mean, I need to like something extraordinary, something that others don't do. I can't remember anything remarkable. Just nothing.
Pros: For all everything was OK
Pros: The seats were more confortable. They could be a bit taller for head room but space between seats and the width of seats were very comfortable.
Cons: The crew seemed very unpleasant. The guy (head crew) was very rude. When asking us to do things he just said it with a tone that was very unneeded. You could tell he didn't want to be there. The lady flight artendant was nice just facially her expressions make her look stand off ish. They talked about passengers to each other in the aisle ways and made comments that "they've talk to this lady each several times and she's not listening". Seemed like private conversation they could try and have.
Cons: The flight was late/ delayed over 6 hours. The crew was rude and very unprofessional. This was the worst experience i have ever had flying. I can honestly say I will Never fly United airlines again. I understand that flights get delayed, but when every worker at the flight check in desk, and flight attendants are rude and have a smug attitude as if they don't care then at that point i walk away from ever doing business with you again.
Cons: My flight was cancelled. When I called United I was in hold for an hour only to be told that my airline was not United but Air Canada. When I called air canada I was on hold for another 45 minutes. They rescheduled my flight for another day. I lost one day of my vacation.
Cons: The flight was delayed 2 hours without any real explanation of why. They ended up moving us to a new gate at the last minute.
Pros: Only an hour flight
Cons: Same as earlier flight but didn't try wifi.
