He had his jacket the whole time and it made flying on west jet seem sophisticated and like we were important enough to dress up for. Also the female flight attendant that did the announcements was great. She made the announcements in a friendly, slightly humorous way rather than sounding bored and businesslike and "let's just get through this" manner."
Cons: "Lack of ice for drinks and snacks. Also, I have noticed that on many flights now, they start with paid service and then free beverage service and often that is about 2 hours into the flight. I realize you probably do that to keep those who need booze from getting anxious or angry, etc. and to make money, but it makes me, who paid the same for my ticket, feel iike steerage class. It would be nice if those of us who aren't puchasing booze (which also includes those who want booze) could get served first, then do the paid. These are little things, but would distinguish you from others. If I knew when I flew with West Jet I could have several packs of crackers or cookies or a small cheese and cracker pack along with ice in my drink and quick soft drink service along with flight attendants that were allowed to be friendly and have a sense of humor, I would consider West Jet more often and even pay a little more. I would pay to be treated a little better than the others."

Allmost missed the 1st flight getting it fixed, they also didn’t book my child in adjacent seats, despite pre-booking the seats on the flight days before."

I was ending a phone call with the rcmp and without rudely hanging up on him due to my truck being stolen and being out of the country for 11 days. I was yelled at from 6 rows away in a very arrogant rude tone for the whole plane to hear. I was embarrassed and uncomfortable for the rest of the flight as well as being in a bad mood. Not being offered any beverages or food afterwards also made for a long flight. Was not impressed in the slightest as I fly with west jet every week and have never had such a rude flight attendant."

Cons: "Air Canada Rouge is a nasty way to travel. In a standard seat, there is enough room for a very small adult/ child. If you are 6ft tall or more, you are going to be in trouble. If Air Canada gave an extra 3 inches of space for your knees between the seat in front of your own seat, everything else would be bearable. Corporate greed drives jamming in as many seats as humanly possible to ensure that you know how a sardine in a can feels. I am not sure why Air Canada feels justified in charging extra money for a bulkhead seat just so a customer can have a "normal" experience travelling. I would recommend every Air Canada exec goes for a ride on a Rouge Cattle Car to see how enjoyable it is."

Very close to each other and very little padding on cushion of seat. Dirty plane; don’t think they serviced it between flights, garbage in each seat pouch. Very cold on flight, crew did not regulate the climate control. Too many unnecessary announcements both in English then French. Each announcement seemed like it lasted about 10 minutes which no one listen. So much for trying to watch a movie that pauses every time the crew feels the needs to talk. Sat at gate for 30 minutes pass departure time without any explanation until right before we departed (waiting on passengers from late arriving flights). At lease they could have told us. Anyhow this is not the Air Canada of old. Air Canada Rouge shows no signs that they care about the comfort of their passengers."

Cons: "gate assignment kept changing so i bounced through the airport more than i would have liked to since i was trying to get some work done between flights. in addition, the final gate assignment was tight to say the least; people were literally sitting on the floor next to the moving walkway. this isn't an Air Canada problem it's a Pearson problem and made the experience less than pleasant."

The security line inNewsrk was ridiculous. I spoke to a TSA agent who couldn’t have cared less if I missed my flight and a United representative who told me to “just try.” In the end, I had to ask other passengers if I could go ahead of them. While I made my flight with a few minutes to spare, the process could have been much easier and the United Rep could have done more. He could have just called the gate at the very least to let them know I was coming. Apathy is not an indication of good customer service."

No access to the headrest video screen w/o paying for it, lame. Snotty unconcerned flight attendants as well. Overall one of the worst flights I've had in memory. I would pay more next time to fly another airline."
Pros: "I had no problems the gate agent was very nice and I did get the basic economy which that only did I have to pay for my bags but I also got the last seat in the back in the corner which is OK I guess I’ll pay more attention to the fair I still probably saved a little money but I don’t know that I save that much I think that sometimes the boarding agent needs to pay attention to the carry-on luggage for sure bring a lot carry-on luggage which doesn’t allow for others to have carry-on luggage who were in the later groups and then they get penalized with their bags being checked as there’s no more room and they’re not basic economy but other than that I like taking United they have nonstop service between Orlando in Houston and it’s been a wonderful experience most of the time and I think the airlines do a pretty good job considering the traveling public themselves to be very challenging at times professionalism and courtesy works both ways and unfortunately people buy tickets and think that it’s a one-way street. they then run to the media who loves to make it about the big guy versus the little guy anyway good job united and I will continue to fly you when you’re the most appropriate carrier to get me to where I want to be."

They charge higher prices but act like a discount airline. My last trip with them."

Cons: "My first two flights were delayed (1st flight from Changsha to Beijing was delayed for 4 hours and 2nd flight from Beijing to Houston was delayed for 45 mins), so I missed my last flight from Houston to Orlando to go home! And! They lost both of my luggages! Now I'm forced to stay in Houston airport overnight to catch next flight to go home tomorrow morning. Air China did NOT help anything! They wouldn't even help me rebook my flight when they know I will miss my last connect flight."

No warnings from the pilot when we were going through bad weather - just a surprise "HANG ON" as the plane would shake in a frenzy. The chairs were also incredibly uncomfortable and very hard to relax on. I couldnt even sleep well, and it was an overnight trip. Seriously felt so disrespected by the crew and the company, and this experience was the same with all 4 flights I took (to portland and back). I will never again choose United."

Most of their planes did not have screens in the back of the seats. Instead they wanted you to watch on your personal device via their app which worked sub par. The baggage on the return flight was delayed and I almost missed my next flight even though I had a 2 hour 40 min layover. Thankfully that flight was delayed 1 hour and a half. Next time I will stick with airlines I know better. Delta, Emirates, and Qatar all offer superior service and upscale aircraft. The 2k spent was not worth what I received."

Pros: "Crew did the best they could with the cards that were dealt."
Cons: "Delay the flight next time instead of trapping a completely sold out plane on board with very little ac if any at the gate. Totally could have been avoided with some forethought. Kind of surprised at how this was handled in an industry that is attempting to avoid passenger incidents etc."

Cons: "I was pretty upset that I had to go down to baggage claim to get my bag which didn't show up along with any of the other passengers bags for about 35 to 40 minutes. The person who was designated to pick me up was none too happy"
Pros: "That I finally made it to Orlando"
Cons: "Flight was delayed 3 1/2 hours... Took forever to get on plane once on plane people were in wrong seats so I had to keep getting up so they could figure out who was in the wrong seat. Just a mess. Even crew seemed annoyed. Finally got to Orlando at 3am suppose to be there at midnight."
Cons: "I was thoroughly disappointed when I realized that I had to pay to get any type of entertainment on the in-flight screen. That feels like zero effort on the part of the airline to make my flight enjoyable."
Cons: "After United made me miss my connecting flight, I got an alternate flight to a different airport, but not apology, no offer to upgrade, nothing. Already frustrated, and with my knees hitting the seat in front of me because the seats are too close together, a flight attendant scolded me when I dared put my leg in the aisle (which I often do on other airlines without incident). Once on the ground, I went straight to United's baggage office to see if my bag had followed me, and encountered two of the rudest people, cutting me off whenever I said anything more than they needed to enter into their computer. If your job is in customer service, be friendly, apologize when things go wrong, understand that your customers are your reason for being in business, and be helpful."
Cons: "Again, spicy snack. Long flight, you had to have the latest app on your phone or pad to watch a movie, flight from Houston to Boise had movie/tv monitors. Loading 4th group to the back of the plane makes it tough."
Pros: "After being so delayed, movies were free."
Cons: "We were delayed over 3 hours. I don't think I've ever flown with United and not been delayed. Plus they never offered us food on the flight, only whatever was complimentary. Just not a great experience."

Cons: "The flight was delayed almost 2 hours. Then the guy on the front desk was really rude .. Maybe because I'm Latino? I mean he was super friendly with a white guy and a African American girl .. But with me .. Rudeness and bad service .. I said "hello , how are you?".. He didn't answer .. I told him when I did my checkin my boarding pass had "See agent" in the seating section .. He just took the ticket and gave me the last sit available on the plain even though I arrived almost 3 hours before the original departing hour .. I don't know .. It might be the only available sit or it was just a racist thing .. Who knows .. Really disappointed with United. I'll go back with Ameican Airlines."
Pros: "The seats were far more comfortable that frontier. I would have slept through most of my flight but unfortunately there was some pretty bad turbulence for the first half of the flight. Overall tho very comfortable."
Cons: "Kayak failed to alert me that MCO has an A & B bagge pickup areas and did not indicate which area I would find my luggage."
