They couldn’t get the bridge way to the plane so we sat for half an hour in the no ac plane instead of getting us a stair or other gate."

Everything went pretty smoothly: from check-in to boarding to baggage pick-up at the destination (Atlanta). The plain was clean and in great condition. The flight crew and ground staff were excellent. I just wish Delta and other airlines increased leg room in coach. But I guess that will not happen without a mandate from the government.
Even tho we paid to have seat next to each other we had to give them up, and my husband who just had major surgery on his hand was given an isle seat which was part of the reason we PAID to have seats next to each other and him in a middle seat

Even if you have a ticket labeled as Group 1, you may still be one of the last boarded because of all the different programs that have priority over you. Would be better to limit the advance boarding to people who need extra help and a single program. This leads to the question, why are there so many different programs? Wouldn't it be easier to have a single loyalty program? If you don't qualify for advance boarding because you did not purchase a first class seat, or you haven't reached the advance boarding requirements, you don't qualify. Let's start thinking about the customer again, and less on the profit margin. How would one of your executives feel if they had a boarding Group 2 and 85% of the plane was already boarded by the time your group was called, thereby limiting the space for your correct size carry-on? One more thing that would be beneficial, enforce the size limit for carry-on luggage. I have been to airports that limit the size with a box on the x-ray machine so you can not even get an oversized piece of luggage through security. Just one idea for the industry."

I emailed American Airlines last week but hadn’t gotten a response yet so when they announced that we would exit by stairs, I was almost in tears as I gathered my belongings. To my surprise, American Airlines had a ramp for us to use. I don’t know it it was a coincidence or if they responded that quickly knowing I was on the plane through todays’s technology. Cons: "The American Airlines staff assured us that if we got stuck in DC we would receive hotel vouchers. Not only did we not receive hotel vouchers but we were denied access to our rescheduled flight the next day and forced to rent a car to get us from DC to Massachusetts in time for our event. This "misunderstanding" cost us 2 days of our trip and an additional $500 all together. I have never been more disappointed by an airline in all my years of travel! If we'd been told the truth from the beginning we would of rescheduled the flight for the following day from our original destination and saved ourselves 2 headaches and a ton of money."

It was a code shared flight between Lufthansa and United and each airline kept sending us to the other to get any answers or help. neither were helpful. Cons: "The flight was not with Lufthansa, but it was actually through United, which was extremely confusing as I did my ticket confirmation, seat booking and meal choice through Lufthansa prior to my trip. To find out on the day of the flight that I had to check in and go through United was extremely annoying, as the counters are in different terminals and it was unnecessarily stressful. The flight itself was crammed, with absolutely no leg space, and not even enough space under the seat to stow my backpack (which had fit perfectly on my Brussels Airlines flight to Madrid). I had requested the Asian vegetarian meal, and the snack we got prior to landing was pretty much two slices of cucumber on a small bun (and an apple on the side) - extremely dry and hard to eat. I asked for mayo, but the flight neither had that, nor any other condiments to make the "sandwich" more edible."

This should be more clear, so that I can bring my own lunch if there will be none provided."

There was an hour and a half delay to repair something on the plane when we made an emergency medical landing in Boston. I didn't mind the landing; I minded the excessive delay and wonder what would have happened if we didn't stop in Boston? What would have happened to the plan?"

At UA, I was handed a boarding pass which advised that my seat will be assigned at the gate. I saw on the monitor where the available seats were-1 window, the remainder middle row. I got the feeling that since I bought a ticket which cost less than what the other United Airlines customers paid for, then I was being relegated to seats that the other travelers didn't desire."

Despite originally being told that we were trying to get out ahead of storms so we wanted to get going quickly, we ended up boarding and then sitting there for probably an hour and a half. The pilot/copilot were great at letting us know what was going on, but the fact that both the first and second leg of my journey were delayed was excrutiately annoying. Having already been traveling for over 8 hours, the last thing I wanted to do was be even later and extend the flight even longer, obviously. The entertainment also was not available due to some problem in the circuit for the entirety of sitting there waiting to taking off and the first 15 minutes of the trip. Again, the attendants did everything they could and were very attentive, it was just frustrating to not really be sure that entertainment was going to be available for the 9 hour flight you just sat down for. Thereafter the entertainment was great. The food was, again, pretty mediocre compared to other transatlantic flights I've taken. The lasagna was not very good tasting at all. The sandwich they brought near the end of the flight was tasty though. Another plus was full sized cans of juice as opposed to a tiny glass. Honestly once this flight got off the ground it was good. However the combination of the delays, plus my terrible previous flight (which was the one directly operated by Lufthansa, the second flight was farmed out to United) just made the whole journey pretty awful, and probably the worst of my life. On my flight from Munich to Cairo, three weeks ago, Lufthansa left my bag in Munich despite the fact that I had an 8 hour layover - which you'd think would be more than enough to put a bag on a plane. They were very quick about delivering my bag once it arrived, but that previous experience with Lufthansa just served to bring down my opinion of the entire airline. Honesty, I had been told by friends that Lufthansa was a pretty good airline, that didn't show at all. There's a pretty big chance I'll never willingly fly Lufthansa again if there's even a remotely comparable option (which there almost always is)."

Flying from ATL to Denver was the worst experience I’ve had on a flight in 25 years. Frontier (especially at Atlanta) was the most careless and apathetic group of gate attendants I’ve ever experienced. After a 2.5 hour delay on our flight I arrived at the gate an hour before boarding. No less than twenty people came up to the desk wondering if the flight was still even going to happen. In the hour I sat there the gate attendant made exactly ZERO announcements as to what was going on. The single Frontier gate is at the end of the D terminal concourse owned by Delta, and I must say Frontier is doing a great job advertising for Delta. As you proceed further down the terminal toward the end where Frontier is, it’s like descending into hell. It goes from a reasonably quiet typical airport setting to a crowded chaotic nightmare where no one is in charge or is interested in helping. Not enough seating (even for mother’s and families struggling with kids who were miserable from the heat), air conditioning was either turned off or broken, no place to charge anything. Never again.

I was the only one in line and the "Customer Service" person was indignant and reminded me that i was the last person to sign in. I guess the last people to sign in, or maybe all people that sign in get treated with utter disrespect. I am 3 minutes late, Frontier is 3 hours and 45 minutes late and i am the one who gets treated with disrespect . Horrible!!!!! Inexpensive airline, NO they are a CHEAP airline that doesn't give a damn about its customers. I will be going to the internet, the Points Guys, the FAA, and to their corporate offices next. Although I won't be expecting a response from their corporate offices because the culture of CHEAP customer service starts at the top!"
