Food was free and excellent- so was the entertainment (I watched 4 movies on the 14 hour flight). Crew was great. Alcoholic beverages were also free but we don't drink so it didn't matter."

I could not drink either of the wines delta carried. Furthermore, I tend to eat low carb & sugar snacks. All the snacks offered were high in carbs except the peanut packs. Delta only had one peanut pack on board. They had many pretzels , bananas & yogurt bars which were high sugar & carbs! Try carrying some Greek plain yogurt & unsweetened vanilla almond milk. TY for your attention."

They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

When the flight finally left, after I had been waiting for over 5 hours, we were told that they would be flying low, so there would be no beverage service. It would be nice in these situations to simply have bottled water to pass out quickly, or make the announcement prior to boarding so people would be able to bring their own beverages."

This is embarrassing at the gate especially since it looks like we are cutting the line. What good is this "privilege" if you have to assert it every time or hold a credit card in hand with your carryon and boarding pass. This should be included in our ticketing at the time of purchase and upgraded on our boarding pass if we use the damn card for the purchase. It is now not a "privilege" but an inconvenience."

Cons: "They cancel our flight back home and refunded our money back and gave my party and I a 50 dollar voucher to only find out that they used a third party airline (Miami international) to get us home and the manager at the airport was the one that told us that. So we barley made the flight back home. Only to get back and my friends luggage was left at the other airport. Never again will I use this airline. It was my first flying experience ever and they happen to taint the experience. Never again. You get what you pay for. The reps on the phone are not knowledgeable and can barley understand you and your situation. If you do use them talk with the airport directly about everything or you will be given the run around."

Pros: "The flight from Myrtle to Boston was on time and actually landed 15 min early. My boyfriend and I got to sit near each other and had privacy. Super comfy new seats and room to stretch."
Cons: "Our flight from Boston to Myrtle was an hour and 1/2 delayed because of a crew member being late. Very irresponsible. We were all exhausted and some people had connecting flights that may have been missed. Crew talked to each other a lot and missed some passenger requests. I believe the flight attendant said it was a Chicago crew. The $50 luggage fee is a bit much. Thought the old policy was more fair. I like Spirit for its affordability which is going away now."

We were not allowed on the flight and had to pay for another flight that left the next day. We will never fly with spirit airlines again."
Cons: "I DON'T LIKE BEING CHARGED $65.00 FOR A CARRY ON BAG THAT TWO MONTHS EARLIER WAS FREE. IF YOU WANT THE EXTRA MONEY, WHY NOT JUST PUT IT IN THE PRICE OF THE TICKET AND QUIT PRETENDING HOW INEXPENSIVE YOUR AIR FARES ARE."
Cons: "Cancelled flight twenty minutes to boarding - doesn't actually tell anyone. The boarding area is so immensely overcrowded and they make no announcements - just waits for you to notice the sign changed. Then when everyone is hoarded to the ticket counter, there is no attendant to speak to at the front so you're left to guess which of the two lines to stand in - if it matters at all. Half an hour into waiting in line, a desk clerk announces that one line is for refund only and the other for rebooking only.... After waiting half hour in wrong lines. Where's the sign? Where's the courtesy? My JetBlue flight was a half hour late - they sent me a credit automatically. Spirit cancels your flight - and all flights after (so the next available flight was in THREE days) and they make you jump through hoops. NEVER AGAIN."

Cons: "After you add in "extras" such as luggage ($31-35) and a reserved seat ($17-20), the fare is still reasonable but not as low as you may have initially been lead to believe."
