Great. Better than average US carriers on overseas flights. Still room for improvement to rise up the average Asian and Middle East airlines.
Our flight was canceled, then they moved us to a different flight number yet we didn’t receive notifications timely. We had to find out the latest on our own / later AA sent a text with the updated info..
They didn't tell me they changed my flight. So I got confused on what happened to my flight.
Overall, a solid flight experience. Boarding was quick and efficient, even with a full and overbooked flight. The flight crew did a great job providing attentive and friendly service throughout. I flew in economy, and while the seats were acceptable, they could definitely use more cushioning, especially for a 14-hour flight. By the end, it was quite uncomfortable to remain seated. Legroom was also limited, particularly with a bag stored under the seat and the passenger in front reclining. That said, everything else went smoothly, and I appreciated the professionalism of the crew.

The crew was nice, the food could be better, and at least 2 bathroom stalls were out of service.
great experience - staff were kind and attentive and food was excellent. very comfortable flight that felt much shorter than 14 hours.
Too bad the plane didn't work after we taxied out to get in line for take-off. We went back to the gate and waited for almost 90 minutes for them to find a plane that worked. Waited another hour to board. When we got to Rochester we waited for over an hour for our bags to appear. The agent said they only had three people working to load and unload baggage. A one hour flight took an extra four hours. It would have been faster to rent a car at JFK and drive to Rochester.
They layover in Japan was too long , it took 11 hours.
I hope they never ran out of the menu choice one makes. They often do.
The boarding process, food is one of the best, seats are roomier with better leg room.. the attendants are nice and accommodating…
One of the best 14 hour flights I've ever had. Crew was friendly throughout which can be difficult on longer flights. The crew being kind and respectful is very important for me. Plane felt clean and I was able to get some well needed uninterrupted sleep. I put them slightly above Cathay Pacific as far as cleanliness the only down side was a lack of entertainment selections, but hey I am an American taking a trip on a Japanese airline so I cannot complain. Thank you ANA and the Tokyo airport all very friendly. Will see you soon
This was the best airline I’ve ever taken. The staff are amazing. The food was great. The pilot was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this airline.

The cabin was hot. I was sweating during the whole trip.
ANA crews are superb, very responsive and caring. Boarding was smooth and so as the landing. Great flights we had with ANA.
Crew were efficient and friendly. But my seat was very uncomfortable . Was seated at last row window seat 27. Too cramp
The crew was so accommodating. If I asked for extra snack they gave it to me. In economy the seats were wide and plenty of legroom. The backrest should have reclined a little more. Instead it barely moved. The footrest was helpful. Overall, my experience was good and I would recommend ANA as an alternative to other oversees low-cost airlines.
We did not receive our special meal request (vegetarian). The crew was apologetic but then kept interrupting me at least 6 times to ask to see my email or access the web to show verification. (I did not have internet access while on the plane). They kept asking the same questions and taking down the same information. It became exasperating. I understand these errors occur but the constant questioning was disrupted and only compounded the error.
