I couldn't complete my web checkin at the AliItalia web site. Landed in JFK, still sucks as an airport, nobody helps, nobody explains anything, very poor signs and instructions, Global Entry kiosk are hard to spot. My connection ticket didn't have the TSA/PRECHECK legend, went to AliItalia counter, the lady at AliItalia barely said anything when I asked for help with that, her immediate answer was to disengage and sent me to another terminal "to talk to Delta". She didn't explain or didn't want to give an explanation until I started to act as an already 9hr30min flight frustrated customer in a very old, very poor plane with poor food service. Again, I bought an over $1,000 ticket with DELTA, NOT ALIITALIA, if Delta send people with their "partners" at least make sure that they are taken care of properly.

Ordered dinner, was almost as tasty as a Stouffers meal (it was some type of glop of lamb). 7 hours into flight the menu advertised a warm chocolate chip cookie, asked for one was told they THOUGHT they were out, came back about an hour later said the found one, but it wasn't warm, so I passed (not a real fan of eating food they found) About 8 hours into flight , the attendant said out of the blue that they were sorry about not providing the meal all together as requested, but that the other attendant didn't know they offered that service.

Pros: The woman who helped us at the desk by the gate was possibly the single most helpful, kind Delta employee I’ve ever met. She wheeled me down the jetway and upgraded our seats. I wish I knew her name. She has very curly dark blonde hair and is petite.

Pros: It was wonderful to have a non-stop from Rome to Atlanta. The flight was comfortable and punctual. The in-flight entertainment was very good and helped pass the long flight.

I don't know how you can mess up crackers, but they were terrible, even slathered with the accompanying marinara. Also not sure that I ever met a shortbread cookie I didn't like until this trip; why lace it with artificial strawberry flavor?

Cons: Gate changed in the last minute and non-English speaking wheeler chair customer (my 89 years old mother) was left at the old gate by their wheeler chair services and no agent at the gate knew about her. Both round trip flights! This is totally NOT acceptable. She could have been lost and with no ability to help herself and miss the flights. It was lucky that she found Chinese speaking customers to help her.

Pros: Whereas our flight out from Raleigh to JFK where everything that could possibly go wrong did(late crew, boarding computer problem, mechanical issues with the plane, gate problems, missed connection) this last leg of our trip back was flawless. Everything was on time, and the crew was friendly and attentive. We had exit row seats so the leg room for this 90 minute flight was great compared to our first part (London-Atlanta)

This was compounded by sitting next to a man so large that part of my space was taken, and this was Delta Comfort. Had I been given the requested seat, I would not have the sore neck and back I now have from leaning for 2 hours.

Pros: Pilot almost barrel-rolled us climbing out of JFK, so if started well enough.... Ground assistance (wheel chair) left me with a badly bruised left big toe and I didn't think we'd ever get through the TSA. The pat-down I received was more like a sexual assault and I didn't even get a happy ending. We made it to RDU, so the exercise was a success, but it was a huge hassle.

Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!

Pros: The crew was fantastic! Our needs were constantly being met and just about the time you thought you might want a snack or a meal, the attendants were already heading down the aisle. Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs.

Cons: Per usual, KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Strange choice of in-flight movies; no accounting for taste, I guess.

Cons: When I booked the flight, it did not say that I was not allowed to check any bags. My wife and I had one each, and it costed us €140 total to bring the luggage. If I had known there was a slightly more expensive ticket that would have allowed us to check a luggage each, I would of course have chosen that. Very poor information provided.

Cons: You only get one free non-alcoholic drink on this flight and that's really stingy for a 7+ hour a long haul. Drinks should be free on a long haul, especially non-alcoholic ones. There aren't any free small snacks like chips or peanuts. You have to pay for everything and the menu is exorbitantly over priced. It's a cheap and insulting customer strategy. They can save a few bucks in overhead on each customer this way, but they are losing money in the long run because I'll never book with them again due to their tawdry actions. I doubt I am alone.

Pros: The pilots were excellent : smooth takeoff and landing. The plane seemed a bit shaky at times in the air; perhaps it was windy, although the skies were clear. Good food; good stewardesses. Entertainment had very good movie choices and games.

Pros: I’ve been very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness of the aircraft and the disregard of the aircraft overall. It was quite old, fair enough, but there where some missing pieces here and there that didn’t make me feel safe. The flight overall was good, British Airways crew are always very competent and professional, which is the reason why I mainly fly with BA. But this is the first time I had some concerns on the lack of safety checks especially because I travelled with my 2 years old son.

We have been told very firmly by taciturn lady at Fumicino Rome that this are new rules nad they are to be obeyed! compassion is not forte in our experience of British Airways.

Cons: Left late. Was told we would still arrive on time. Sat waiting for a gate to open which took all most 45 minutes. We had 12 minutes to depart, go through security and RUN to another terminal and navigate a foreign AirPort and run onto a BA plane that we were told would not wait for the numerous passengers trying to reach the plane. And then sat for over 30 minutes on the plane while the "luggage" was being loaded. Then was told our luggage never made it to our plane. Given both flights were BA I was totally disappointed for this short-term anxiety that was unnecessary.

Cons: Business class was 3x3 with the middle seat locked up with the tray table. First time that I’d seen this... looked strange.

Cons: Appeared that there was some inconsistencies in what was allowed to be carried-on. When I checked in, my roller-bag suitcase carry-on was not allowed to be carried on and it made me scramble at the last minute to grab items I wanted for in-flight use. The odd thing was that the flight was less than half full and there was lots of storage space. Plus a young male was allowed to board with a very large duffel bag (larger than my roller), an over-sized skate board, and a personal backpack and a pillow.

Cons: Like all of the flights we had with British Airways, it was delayed. Flight delays happen all of the time but the real issue was that there was very little information shared with us as to why, how long, etc. We ended up sitting on the tarmac for more than an hour without so much as an offer of water by the crew. When we did get into the air, it took the crew a full hour to reach all of the rows with refreshments, none of which (including water) were complimentary.

Cons: It took FOREVER to get our boarding passes. We did wind up checking our bags, but there was no option to do self check and have boarding passes printed at a kiosk, so everyone had to go through the line and the line was incredibly slow. There were just as many lines for people who had checked in online and just needed to drop their bags - this made no sense to me! There should only have been one line for that and the rest should have been dedicated to getting the rest of the passengers checked in.

Pros: The airline attendants were very nice and helpful. I had to stow my backpack in the overhead since I was sitting in a front seat with no underseat storage. The flight attendant was very helpful in finding a storage place for me near my seat since I was unable to find a place that wasn't towards the rear of the plane. I've always enjoyed flying with British Airways. Always first class service no matter where you sit.

Cons: We were delayed getting out of Rome, making our connection a little stressful.

Cons: Apart from still objecting to the principle of treating non-Business class customers like the budget airlines, the food selection on European flight leg was ok, but sales system is so slow and laborious that in future I'll probably buy in the departures terminal and carry on board.

Pros: The flight I booked through Kayak was cancelled and I was not told until I called three weeks later to check on my seat assignment.

Cons: Crew was not helpful at the end of the flight when we had a very short turnaround time due to delay and my girlfriend had to run to catch the other flight and she has recently had hip surgery. The crew was asked 3 times for help and their response was "you will be fine". We were not fine also the security crew at Heathrow was incredibly slow and there were 3 standing around talking and one very slow very rude lady going through bags which caused us also to be delayed and have to run to catch connecting flight to SF just barely made it - totally unacceptable.

Cons: We races to get to the plane from connecting flight that was late getting in. Then we sat on the plane 2+ hours duew to tire needing replaced, then the air was not working so it was terribly hot and stuffy, then the movie system was not working. Wish we could have gotten off plane during delay. Long flight to begin with, sitting for 2 extra hours was not fun. With all that being said, I am glad they took care of the issues and that our safety was first. Once we got in the air, a very good flight!

Pros: Hard to say after they lost my luggage, cramped space, no leg room because of electronics box under seat, then the person in front of me decided to recline all the way back on a 12 hour flight. So I lost my luggage, and had some smelly stranger practically laying on my lap for 12 hours. Talk about insult to injury!
Cons: They forced me to check my bag, even before I boarded the plane and said there wouldn't be any room. Then they lost my bag. Worst thing I ever did was listen to the lady at the ticketing booth! Also, the way they do boarding is a total joke. All they care about is their first class passengers. For the rest, it's a free for all! Terrible, even Southwest has more organization! Sputhwest might not have assigned seating, but they're much more organized and significantly cheaper. How do you lose someone's luggage British Airways?!?!?!!!

Cons: We were asked to check in our luggage as there was not sufficient space in the cabin which obviously delayed our plans of getting a train to other location from the airport after lading as we had to collect the bags etc

Cons: I cannot believe you have to pay for your drinks now. The only thing which made BA one of the last remaining "experience" airlines has now made it become like a normal train journey. I'd prefer to pay 10 pounds more in my ticket and still have the impression my drinks, soft or not, are offered.

Cons: I have both celiac and a mushroom allergy -- no meal option was proviided to accommodate both. Sure enough, my gluten-free meal contained mushrooms. (It's surprising to me that, since celiacs often have other food allergies/sensitivities, the meal contained a pretty common allergen.) Stuff happens sometimes, but it felt a bit as if the flight attendant felt inconvenienced by my inability to eat the meal. Also, usually disabled passengers are given the opportunity to pre-board -- the wheelchair didn't arrive until quite late, so I was one of the last people, if not the last, on the flight, something that makes getting settled a lot more difficult than when I've been allowed to pre-board. I realize that wheelchair attendants are employed by the airport, not the airline, but he gate agent seemed unconcerned about the fact that nobody had arrived to pick up wheelchair passengers despite the fact that everyone else was already boarding. Finally, the flight departed/arrived quite late, which meant that I had about 10 minutes to spend in the Heathrow Club World lounge before having to wait for a wheelcehair attendant to take me to my connecting flight.

Cons: Our BA flight from Rome to Paris was operated by Vueling. Vueling staff in Rome lacked knowledge of whether or not our bags could be transferred properly to our BA connection and onto our home city. Our bags did not connect and arrived 2 days after we did. Vueling desks were extremely unorganized, staff were not helpful, and boarding the plane after 2 buses hauled the passengers far out onto the concourse was a nightmare. We love BA, but we will never again purchase a flight where Vueling is involved.

Cons: Our flight was plagued by issues which were both avoidable and unavoidable. Here is a list - * I was able to check-in online but my husband was not and kept receiving error messages (no big deal) * Upon arrival at the check-in counter, the line was incredibly long. I understand this happens but of the employees working, only 2 were checking in bags and 3 others were just standing there chatting and talking into walky talkies. * Flight from Rome to Heathrow was late for no apparent reason, landed 45 minutes prior to our connection flight. I inquired with our flight attendant about the potential to make boarding and he said they would let us know. We landed on the tarmac and had to be bussed to the terminal. Not once after we landed did the flight crew mention one word about connecting flights. Never have I had that experience in 44 years. Additionally, there was no direction regarding priority for boarding the busses. When we finally entered the terminal, an airline employee displayed a sign calling for passengers connecting on a flight to San Diego which was taking off just 10 minutes after ours to San Jose. A choice few of these folks were driven over to their boarding gate while many of us were left behind. * When we made it the recommended "Fastrack Express" the attendant informed us that we had already been cancelled out of our connecting flight to San Jose (this was 30 minutes before take off)! We were directed to go wait in line to re-book our flights. * After an hour in line we learned that the couple behind us had already been re-booked onto that evening flight to SJ, which would have been the next out. I wonder how that happens when you are further behind in line? After waiting 4.5 hours in line. We were told that and approximately 3 other convenient flights which would have been a possibility were no longer available since we had been made to wait for so long. There were no places to sit, no numbering system, we did not eat at all that day until 11pm and that was after waiting another 45 minutes to get our passports stamped and then stupid bus ride. *We were forced to miss hosting my best friend's baby shower the next morning. We were sent on an hour long bus trip to another airport in Gatwick to sleep in a hotel for 6 hours and then return bus trip back to Heathrow only to fly into an airport which is an hour away from our home as as opposed to 10 minutes. *Not once in all that time did a manager come out and let customers know the cause of the inconvenience. The window service to re-book was haughty and entitled, rather than thoughtful and efficient. I was insulted by the lack of customer service, the shoddy organization, communication and lack common sense. The only saving grace was that they booked us on a different airline for our return flight where we received decent service. We incurred extra charges due to the change in arrival location - all around failure on British Airways. Not happy at all.

Cons: Boarding at Lisbon airport was one of the worst experiences. Passengers were asked to line up at least 30 minutes before boarding started and it was hot in the terminal. As boarding started, passengers were split into groups by boarding zones...premium passengers boarded first as expected, then people with small bags. This is where the problem was because a group of four passengers who had one small bag (that could fit under seat) were allowed to go before passengers in boarding zones A/B. The whole idea is people who could fit bags under their seat would board first, but the tap team made a mess and allowed many passengers with large bags in as well. I was one of the last ones to be boarded and stranded on the line for over 40 minutes with my backpack...after traveling for a month and being delayed in Rome, last thing you want is stupid mistakes like this to cause you stress.

Pros: I was able to easily store my carryon which is the maximum size you can bring in the overhead compartment and store my large zippered bag underneath the seat with still plenty of space for my legs.

Cons: They gave my 70-year old mother only a few hours notice that they were changing her one-stop four-hour 6AM flight into an 8AM multi stop 14-hour marathon. In fact, she was already asleep when they changed her flight, so she was already at the airport when she found out about the change. To do this to a 70-year old woman is reprehensible. Worse, after 2-hours with customer service, nobody there made any real attempt to remedy the situation or offer any compensation. Worst airline experience EVER.

Cons: FLight was late into Lisbon. There were several other people connecting from Lisbon to Boston on our flight from Rome and flight attendants kept lying to us telling us that the flight to Boston will wait for us to arrive. As soon as we landed in Lisbon we were informed that we could not get on the flight to Boston and had to stay an extra day in Lisbon to fly to BOS the next day. TAP gave us a voucher to stay at the Marriott, with lunch and dinner vouchers. The hotel would not let us use the lunch voucher so we had to pay our own lunch. Our dinner voucher was only for a buffett style dinner. The only meat on the buffet was pork which i cannot eat. TAP representative were unfriendly and unhelpful. They ignore you and dont look at you when you talk. We tried to complain to TAP and they had us running in circle to different counters no one would help us, then we were told that we could sit and complain and miss our flight or just go to our gate. TAP rebooked us on a SATA flight ot Boston without even telling us.
