Checked the route through Brisbane, and those flights we're all there, departed and landed all on-time... so wondering what the reason was for the change of the itinerary without a cause (no cancel or delayed flights through Brisbane)"

I tried to pre-pay for extra luggage on-line before the flight but the web site would not allow me to do so. We paid $100 per extra bag at check-in."

Was not able to get more than one glass of wine, even though I missed the first beverage service, that is my fault though, but I don't recall it being an issue getting a drink between services. Entertainment systems had contrast issues and it seemed like a lot of people 8 - 10 had issues since they were using iPads instead of the built in monitors. A lot of wear showing on the entertainment systems remotes."

After calling the helpline I was informed that it is impossible to change the seat after checking in until I am at the airport. No other airline has such an obscure, in efficient rule. Virgin takes pride in being a step above their competition - I didn't see it. I have flown international on Delta, American Airlines, British Airlines, United, and others and any difference in the experience was negligible."
Pros: "Due to earlier late connecting flight into LAX, I assume, my bags didn't make it with me, and arrived two days late. But your man Fred from PNG Air was right there in POM Jackson's airport to take my information and somehow two days later I did receive the bags! Thanks! The flight itselfe was fine in every other way."
Cons: "Maybe when I checked in for the last two flights if your check-in agents could've told me more clearly about where in the system my bags were, it would've been less of a surprise to find out in POM that they were not with me. I did ask, but got answers like 'we'll try to transfer them' or 'your bags are in the system', which were not too informative, but maybe as complete as those workers could ascertain, I don't know. I would've liked to be able to check in on line in advance for this and other flights on this trip, if you ever decide to open up that facility (without a charge), it would be appreciated."

Cons: "My bag was not put on the correct flight so I had no bag for 3 days, they were slow in getting my bag to Bali from Sydney. It was really unacceptable. I talked to 5 different people to make sure my bag was put on the correct plane, even asked before boarding if it was on and they said yes.The food was horrible, I only ate it because I was starving. Flight was delayed from Sydney to Bali, which caused me to miss my pick up. Not sure if I'll fly with them again."

I don't know how you can mess up crackers, but they were terrible, even slathered with the accompanying marinara. Both round trip flights! This is totally NOT acceptable. She could have been lost and with no ability to help herself and miss the flights. It was lucky that she found Chinese speaking customers to help her."
Pros: "Whereas our flight out from Raleigh to JFK where everything that could possibly go wrong did(late crew, boarding computer problem, mechanical issues with the plane, gate problems, missed connection) this last leg of our trip back was flawless. Everything was on time, and the crew was friendly and attentive. We had exit row seats so the leg room for this 90 minute flight was great compared to our first part (London-Atlanta)"

This was compounded by sitting next to a man so large that part of my space was taken, and this was Delta Comfort. Had I been given the requested seat, I would not have the sore neck and back I now have from leaning for 2 hours."
Pros: "Pilot almost barrel-rolled us climbing out of JFK, so if started well enough.... Ground assistance (wheel chair) left me with a badly bruised left big toe and I didn't think we'd ever get through the TSA. The pat-down I received was more like a sexual assault and I didn't even get a happy ending. We made it to RDU, so the exercise was a success, but it was a huge hassle."

Cons: "Traveled with elderly father...all great until Boston Logan Airport. Wheel chairs supposedly went to wring gate. 5 or 6 needed chairs. Waited min of 10-15 minutes standing!!! My father requested to use bathroom... Boston Lufthansa staff refused to let him step back in plane leaving him standing and very uncomfortable!!! Staff on plane and others applauded at how poorly handled this was. Then finally got chair.. At end of ramp saw a min of 4 chairs and 3 people doing nothing... Still had 4 or 5 people waiting for assistance. Our assistant did not speak English... Or minimal... I told him where we needed to go for scheduled bus he did not listen... Dropping my Dad a significant distance from where I told him... He refused to take him there. Other wheel chair person was dropped there.. So not out of range... But found out they were dropped at wrong stop too!!! However... I believed that most was Logan's fault... But the lack of compassion on Boston Lufthansa was very upsetting to all... But .. Still believe Lufthansa is a wonderful airline and I will in time try to forgive that agent."

Cons: "The process of obtaining our boarding pass in Rome was slow because the first person that was handling seemed not to be familiar with the process. A second person took over and everything went smooth and fast."

Was rebooked on another carrier, but United couldn't get our baggage back to us in time to make that flight thanks to the absolute circus that ensued at the gate. 9:55am flight turns into a night at the airport hotel with vouchers that would only allow us to eat from the horrible buffett (ordering off the hotel menu was not covered). Put on same flight the follow day. Wait for it.... Delayed again (no weather). Would never have booked a flight with United in the first place due to similar issues in the past , but got duped when I booked this Luftansa flight and found out after the fact that it was operated by United. Never again, again."

I felt sea sick and a lady behind me was actually throwing up it was so rough."

We were supposed to use our mobile device to access in-flight entertainment via the United app. There were serious buffering issues and only a minute or two of movie would play at once. Also, there was no in-flight charging facility. For a 10.5 hour flight where passengers are expected to use their own personal devices for entrainment, they should at least provide charging facilities. The seats were super uncomfortable. Minimum cushion and recline. Although I requested vegetarian meal while booking the flight (way ahead of my trip) I was told that they were out of any vegetarian options."

Cons: "It was a morning flight but check in counters were very less and as s result there was long queue. For a morning flight when the passengers get up almost at wee hours to report to airport , the check in should be faster so that they get some time before boarding for a cup of tea or coffee."

Cons: "When a bought my ticket, I had asked in the office about WiFi. They told me that you have WiFi on the plane. I had checked this information on KLM.com and saw the same, that you have WiFi. This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

Cons: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

In Rome had to check in & go through security at Terminal 5 then get bussed to Terminal 3. Only airport where we had to take out all electronics, including converter plugs, headphones, etc, place in a flimsy clear plastic bag ( that broke ) to go through security. Line to check bags pretty slow for number of passengers. Glad we had plenty of time."

We were boarded an hour ahead of departure from Rome for our 10+ hour flight, only to be held on the ground for a one hour delay. Barring equipment malfunction, this is a totally unacceptable way to treat people. Be assured that I will avoid Rome in the future if at all possible. Even before the flight, I had to wait in a baggage check line in Rome for 2 hours while ever British airways employee attempted to address an issue with a single tour group check in. They gave us no information and just had us stand there waiting, refusing to let the line move, implying we are less important than the tour group. It was a miserable traveling experience."

Altho this flight was 'billed' as a British Airways flight, it was operated by American. A little confusing when one thinks they are ticketing on a specific carrier only to be 'baited and switched' to another. That said, the equipment was in great condition, the video worked during the flight, the movie choices were very current. The food was airplane food. What more can one say."

Cons: "This is an 8 hour flight connecting to the United States from London and one expects it to be super comfortable but rather it is one of the worst flights I have over flown. The seats do not incline much and don't have enough cushioning or a proper headrest and footrest. Also the inflight entertainment is below standards. There are no personal entertainment screens but hardly 5-6 common monitors in the entire economy cabin which must be seating almost 80 - 120 people. The movie selection was also sub par. The audio channels also mixed with each other causing poor audio quality due to disruption."

Cons: "Fog over London delayed our flight from Rome. Instead of dealing with this proactively, BA made us sit in the plane on the tarmac for three hours. When we finally arrived in Rome, instead of automatically rebooking us, they directed everyone to a queue. That queue, managed on a first in, first out basis, took FOUR HOURS, during which we missed more flights that would have gotten us home. If, instead, the queue had been managed by departing flights, more people would have gotten to their destinations in a timely fashion. We eventually we booked on a flight to NY and got a rental car. We were offered no compensation for this ordeal."
