I'm always not too crazy about how coach airline seats are designed, so nothing great there either but that's par for the industry so I can't single Alaska out. It was pretty solid all around. I really like Alaska in general. Somehow my seat selection for my initial flight from Portland, OR to Oakland, CA got clobbered and I got reassigned to the last row and couldn't recline my seat back much at all, which was annoying seeing as I purchased me and my buddy's seats way in advance. I put some time and effort selecting two aisle seats next to each other so that we could shoot the breeze on the flight down which didn't get to happen, and his seat selection remainded intact somehow even though I was the one that bought the tickets, but I've already lodged a complaint about that so I shouldn't really go into that here. The flight back from Sacramento was tip top actually, so really no complaints. 9.5 out of 10."

One always had to wait in line with 3/4 people in front of you ..at minimum….. while you waited , the crew made it clear that you were in their way …. Fair enough as we had to stand partially in the galley…

They also will do everything in their power to not give award miles to pattern airline clubs. It doesn't matter if you give them your United number and even register your United number with the flight for United. They will apply it to the Lufthansa Club and pretend it was just in the state and never actually give you the miles no matter how many times you try. This is not from one experience with Lufthansa / Austrian. I've had this experience many times with every flight I take with these terrible Airlines. Pros: "Original flight delayed. They bumped me to the earlier flight which was available cuz it was delayed also. That allowed me to make my connection but I got there about the same time as the later flight should have. The hour-long wait on the tarmac made the flight memorable."
Pros: "Airline staff was very friendly."
Cons: "The temperature in the cabin was almost unbearably hot throughout the entire flight. And to give some perspective: I'm someone who is usually always cold on airplanes and typically not a fan of a/c. And I wore shorts & a t-shirt on the plane which I was nervous about doing because like I said, I'm always cold, but thank goodness I did for that flight."
Pros: "I was glad to see that the security check line was moving quickly. Sacramento is usually my go to airport when in northern California because it's so much easier to get to where you need to in a timely fashion too."
Pros: "Loved the Great Falls airport!! Who goes to an airport that has leather couches that you can lay down on and take a quick nap!! Beautiful airport!!"
Pros: "The price was awesome. The crew was attentive. Five hour or more flights deserves more than a bag of pretzels with only 5 pretzels in the bag. The flight also needs more technology, wifi, movies and televisions."

Cons: "that they didn't really advertise how small of a plane I would be flying. I guess you're supposed to research every plane before purchasing tickets now."
Pros: "Nothing at all Delta is very reliable the people that work for Delta are very nice the people that work for United have a lot to learn they need training learn how to talk to passengers I was called a third-grader just because I didn't know where my seat was very irritating"
Cons: "Nothing whatsoever I would never fly United ever again not when there's Delta Delta is very friendly United is not friendly at all the people are very rude it seems like they don't want to mess with nobody this is a very big mess"
