Pros: "Really nice attendant in front of cabin."
Cons: "The small planes don’t have good overhead compartments and i has fragile stuff in my bag I didn’t want to get harmed with other baggage. They found a place for my bag but it wasn’t what I had expected since I’ve flown with Alaska quite a bit and usually it’s not an issue. Hoping to get my premium seating refunded."

Pros: "The male flight attendant was awesome. Didn't catch his name but he was super funny, witty and charming. The female flight attendant was equally wonderful. Just a wonderful crew. A great flight home after a perfect weekend getaway with a good friend who really needed it."
Cons: "Not much, really. There wasn't a sink in the lavatory on that particular aircraft, I guess due to size or some tradeoff consideration. There was antiseptic lotion though. Not a huge deal. I'm always not too crazy about how coach airline seats are designed, so nothing great there either but that's par for the industry so I can't single Alaska out. It was pretty solid all around. I really like Alaska in general. Somehow my seat selection for my initial flight from Portland, OR to Oakland, CA got clobbered and I got reassigned to the last row and couldn't recline my seat back much at all, which was annoying seeing as I purchased me and my buddy's seats way in advance. I put some time and effort selecting two aisle seats next to each other so that we could shoot the breeze on the flight down which didn't get to happen, and his seat selection remainded intact somehow even though I was the one that bought the tickets, but I've already lodged a complaint about that so I shouldn't really go into that here. The flight back from Sacramento was tip top actually, so really no complaints. 9.5 out of 10."

The gate agent would not find us a new flight, sent us to another gate where that agent split up our party of four into two different flights hours apart because there " were no other seats." Talking with other passengers later in Seattle, found out they got early flight to our same destination when they landed in Seattle! So we finally got home 6 hrs later that expected. We could have drove"

The tickets we had purchased through Kayak were charged but not booked. Juan did everything in his power to get us on that flight. And when the kayak company failed to book in time Juan got us on the next available flight, being to sure to find us the best price and a direct flight, versus the one we had booked earlier. Over all Alaska Airlines will be the standard my future experiences will be based off of if I am unable to travel through them"

That said, you should not be required to hold your arm out and hold the seat back in front of you so that you are not elbowing or shouldering the people beside you. sitting sideways on a seat I paid extra for doesn't seem like a great flight to me."

Got on next flight, 5 hours later, the literal last row of the plane right in front of the bathroom, you know, those seats that don't recline? Travelling with a cranky two year old, made pains to select seats for maximum child comfort and it all flew out the window. Arrived at destination and sat, again, waiting for a gate. Signed up for sky miles previously based on good experiences, but this was one lane thing after another. Advice? Don't act like you're doing me a favor when asking people to check bags cause then it's "free"."

We were re-booked on connecting flights different then the one we originally booked and weren't even notified. They have a Delta app, but it doesn't even work right. Unless you physically go to the gate to check to see if the flight is on time, that is the only was to find out if you are re-booked onto a different flight or not. I have never flown an airline that re-books you on a different flight when they feel like it. I wouldn't recommend Delta Airlines to my worse enemy!"

It would have been very helpful if the gate staff at LAX had advised me to not bother to try to make my connection, or called the next gate to tell them we were running over there. RUNNING. Or at least done something to act like they cared. I am disappointed by the lack of initiative. I understand flights cannot wait, and I would have greatly appreciated being saved the trouble of running to a different terminal and instead taking that time to change my travel plans. They may see travelers struggling like this daily, but to each traveler, a hiccup in travel plans trip is stressful and urgent. I ask Delta staff to please consider that when they come to work. Thank you."

Was in 1st class and didn't get beverage service after boarding. Then, the plane sat on a remote taxiway another 30 minutes before takeoff, fully loaded, no A/C, and still no beverage service. Truly miserable hot and sweaty flight."

Other passengers notice and had told me that they felt sorry for me. I was Embarressed. I was debating on venting on Twitter just yet and also on this review because what difference does it make. What matters the most is that we all got to our destination safely."

Cons: "The lines were too long for a 75 year old. I have recheck but did not get it with American. Security was madness, no one keeping social distance in spite of all your lovely signs. The staff giving directions on the moving table was unintelligible to me and so i left my iPad in my bag and had to spend 20 minutes tearing my bag apart . The gate was the only one not listened on the departure board and so i went the wrong way into the wrong Gs. There was no one around to check with, no one to ask and when i realized i went the wrong way i had to run back . At 75. I was the last one on board. No one helped me. The only friendly and helpful staff i met was Peter on the Chicago to LaCrosse flight. Very disappointed."

I downloaded the united app, and it tells me my flight is not just through american airlines, but through another carrier, american freedom or aomething like that. Very confusing. I called someone, I think american airlines, by this time completely confused. If there are multiple carrier types, I should be able to input my flight number and my info ahould come up for me to view flight info and check in, or seat assignment. In the end I dowloaded 2 or 3 apps, a confusing phone call, and when i got to rhw intial check in I was not treated well by tsa personnel. Maybe my name triggered thw extra search or something.Anyway, that last part is unrelated but my return flight was kind of a struggle."

Pros: "While waiting to board an American pilot sat next to me and was very pleasant. I appreciated his conversation."
Cons: "Delayed getting out of Sacramento. The connection anxiety was intense. we landed as my connection was boarding. De-planing was chaotic and un informed. Seemed like we stood a good 10 mins before the doors opened...some info would have helped. Sometimes they give the gate numbers and everybody on that plane needed to go somewhere. the attendants were not helpful, the one announcer had an accent, a little hard to understand and asked that we all be kind...ok that I can do."

Cons: "Rude flight attendance werent prompt"

Pros: "Flight attendants were very kind"
Cons: "Comfort level was very low. I'm 6'0 y'all and with my seat in an upright posistion my knees were hitting the seat in front of me. My chair barely reclined which cause me to not get any sleep. These two comfort factors made it a restless uncomfortable flight."

Cons: "Despite having a purchased ticket and a seat, I showed up to the airport because I was having problems checking in online. When I arrived at the kiosk it did not print a boarding pass, instead a slip stating I had missed my check-in timeframe and head to the front. I went to the front assuming the counter clerk would resolve the issue but she advised that the only thing she could do is book me on the next flight since the flight was over booked. I was really upset about the situation since I had to be at an event at a specific time. Just make sure you check in as soon as you can. If you are having issues on your phone, call the airline or head to the airport about an hour and a half to two hours early to get your boarding pass."

Cons: "Very uncomfortable flight"

Cons: "I couldn’t check in for my flights ahead of time because the check in system from United and Copa airlines didn’t accept my reservation details. My first flight from Sacramento to San Francisco with United was cancelled and I was not informed until I arrived at the gate for check in. United wanted to rebook me on a flight to Los Angeles and Newark which would have been a delay of 10 hours. After security I had to go to the gate of a delayed flight to San Francisco and ask that they put me back on my original itinerary"

Pros: "On time, smooth"
Cons: "Arriving in LAX with no gate to pull up to. When will United fix this decades-long defficiency?"

Pros: "Fast easy"
Cons: "Pricey"

Pros: "Quick and easy"
Cons: "Plan on wearing your running shoes. United is bad at giving you a lay over that is almost impossible to make. 45 minutes or less for a layover is going to give u a pretty good chance to miss your flights. We went to LAX and had to run from terminal 8 to 7. If it were long we would have missed it.."

Pros: "Not much."
Cons: "There was absolutlely no food. Not eve a bag of peanuts."

Cons: "There was an odor of raw sewage the entire flight. Myself and my son were feeling ill by the time the flight was over."

Cons: "only pretzel, no nuts as option"

Cons: "I was seated next to an obese man who was racist and homophobic, and when I asked the flight attendant if I could move to the empty seat next to me because he was taking up a chunk of my seat, I was told “no” because I am not a united mileage plus member. not so nice! If i pay for an aisle seat I expect to be able to “sit” in the whole seat (and not to mention free from hatred)"

Cons: "Early morning flight and the crew ran out food before they got to row 12."

Pros: "I liked that there was a price for a basic economy ticket considering I can easily fly without a carry on or checked bag. This is a great deal and worth the savings for me as a flyer."
Cons: "The process for vetting those individuals with basic economy tickets is slow, inefficient and seems to make the United employees irritated and less willing to help their guests. While I do not want to see the price go back up, I do think United needs to figure out a way to handle the check-in process for those with basic economy tickets without forcing them to stand in a line with those checking bags. it slows down the check in process for everyone, including those at normal priced fares."

Cons: "No one told us at the gate I was told to go to included on my ticket that it had been changed. I almost missed my flight if I had not asked an assistant at another gate. Then when I got to the correct gate I asked that assistant why there was no announcement of the change. He proceeded to tell me I didn't need to yell at him. That was unprofessional, disrepectful, and bottom line rudeness."

Cons: "Late departing, crew not friendly, having take tiny plane to my destination...man next to me smalled sooo bad I had to turn my face into window to not get sick.not airline fault of course. Landed in Denver at one gate toward end of concourse and second plane s gate not listed anywhere. No board or person knew where. Found it was to be entire other end..pilot mumbled when talking not able understand his fast mumble."

Pros: "Not much. We were late so United gave us free TV access during the flight."
Cons: "The flight was late and let space was very little. We only had one drink and one cookie for a 5+ hour flight."

Pros: "Everyone was pleasant, flights were on time, no baggage lost, very little turbulence."

Cons: "Flight is delayed wonder why I paid for my luggage and my two small suit case not even 25 kilos each , thought limit is 50?"

Pros: "Good leg room"
Cons: "The first class experience was very sub par we did not feel we got our money's worth"

Cons: "Very negative about this company they did two times cancelation, at first was problem with lights in plane and we stay over an hour, then they say that the airplain has mechanical problems and we waited about one more hour, then they returned us to airport and we waited one more hour, finally after 3 hours they start to board us but service was horrible so rod boarding people. So I hade meeting with singing contract in the morning, I was late contract cancelled and I lose my money..... The company did not any compensation. I'm so Negative, negative, about this company, not recommended will never have again"

Pros: "Late boarding, ZERO ENTERTAINMENT when you can pay the same price for American that provides television, old uncomfortable seating."

Cons: "Seats too small no in flight entertainment in first class."

Cons: "My flight was originally at 10:25am and got moved due to fog to 11:00am which is understandable. But the plane gets in and the captain comes off and says he's clocked off. And that the next captain wouldn't be getting in till 2:40. I would think they would've had enough time to line up another captain knowing the fog was causing delays. It made me miss my flight to Houston. I just really think this all could've been avoided"

Pros: "They put me and my son in the very last row of the airplane. I realize this is probably the only way I could afford to fly so I will put up with it, but it isn't very comfortable for 73 year old woman."

Pros: "I was nursing a cold and the staff was offering me drinks and blanket."

Cons: "As usually United over booked and even though I brought my ticket in advance I some how did not have a seat assigned to me when I checked in. Most of the plane had boarded before I had a ticket in my hand. The agent was rude as she could be because I didn't understand how that's possible for me not to have a seat. I think that it's absolutely ridiculous that it's even possible to over sale a plane since there's obviously only a certain number of seats. I think it's ridiculous that people have to offer up their seat and take another flight, I chose a flight time because that's when I wanted to leave and get to where I was going for a reason. No other industry is allowed to treat their customers this way so why does the airline industry do it? Also there's no tv or movies for us to watch while in a 4 hour flight."

Pros: "When I landed in Denver, I needed a wheelchair. The gate where I landed was a LONG way from the gate where I needed to board for my flight to Billings. The person wheeling me didn't think we'd make it to my gate on time----she practically had to run!! As we passed an agent, she asked if they'd call ahead to let them know I was coming. The agent told her they wouldn't hold the plane for me if we didn't make it. I don't know if they did, but I was the last person to board. Thank God!!!!"
Cons: "The person wheeling me to my gate to Billings couldn't find anyone on a cart who get me to my gate faster & on time. I feel that more of them should be available to those of us who need to go such a long distance to our next gate. We barely made it in my wheelchair and had I had to walk that distance, I NEVER would have made my flight to Billings. Also, agents should be able to contact a gate to let them know that a person is having difficulty getting to their next gate!!!"

Cons: "They did no seat anyone in the safety exit row because they were charging $69 to do so. This is a great hazard in case of an emergency there would be no one to open the aircraft exit door and allow people to exit. Rather, it would cause a stir and a bottleneck of people rushing in an attempt to open a door that is far away. Very disappointed."

Pros: "On time, great service"
Cons: "Plane was full. Legroom poor, as I am 6'2". But I was give an isle seat as requested , so able to stretch a little."

Pros: "The plane was new"
Cons: "Won't let you check in in advance so they can give you a terrible seat for a 12 hour flight. They won't even let you check in from the point of departure if it's with one of their partners. They also will do everything in their power to not give award miles to pattern airline clubs. It doesn't matter if you give them your United number and even register your United number with the flight for United. They will apply it to the Lufthansa Club and pretend it was just in the state and never actually give you the miles no matter how many times you try. This is not from one experience with Lufthansa / Austrian. I've had this experience many times with every flight I take with these terrible Airlines. I would never fly lifthansa unless it's at least $200 cheaper than any of their competitors."

Pros: "I was glad to see that the security check line was moving quickly. Sacramento is usually my go to airport when in northern California because it's so much easier to get to where you need to in a timely fashion too."

Pros: "First class was nice but I paid for 1st class for the whole flight and only got it on the first leg. They should have told me that when they took my money."
Cons: "2nd leg was terrible it was over an hour and a half late because they had to replace a toilet seat! I paid for an upgrade for first class and they over booked it so I didn't get it and haven't received my money back. Terrible customer service."

Pros: "that they warned me the plane was extra small and checked my carry-on at the gate for free."
Cons: "that they didn't really advertise how small of a plane I would be flying. I guess you're supposed to research every plane before purchasing tickets now."

Pros: "Easy going"
Cons: "Paying for food and entertainment, should be included in the ticket."

Pros: "Nothing at all Delta is very reliable the people that work for Delta are very nice the people that work for United have a lot to learn they need training learn how to talk to passengers I was called a third-grader just because I didn't know where my seat was very irritating"
Cons: "Nothing whatsoever I would never fly United ever again not when there's Delta Delta is very friendly United is not friendly at all the people are very rude it seems like they don't want to mess with nobody this is a very big mess"

Pros: "Flight quick, everything went smooth. Staff was helpful and friendly."
Cons: "No negative comments."

Pros: "The flight was delayed then delayed then delayed. A 2:30pm flight that flies 25 minutes to SFO to hit a connector leaves 10 hours late. Awful."
