Pros: "The plane and flight was fine, as was the crew on board. The crew within the Salt Lake airport could have been better. Not sure if it was the gentlemans first time but overall he and the woman working the boarding were very slow and could have been more efficient. We boarded late (may be out of their control) but when we started boarding there was too much wasted time between calling up the military/people with longer boarding needs/wheelchairs etc. They waited until they were completely boarded and settled prior to calling the next group then spent time fiddling with the sign that splits the boarding lanes etc. Just appeared that there was no sense of efficiency. Polite people though."

Cons: "The airline booked us on two flights from SLC to BWI. Unfortunately, our seats on our original connection were released so when we arrived at our gate our only option was to split up and take middle seats - even though we had paid over $100 ea. for upgrades. Delta offered nothing for this. One of the flight attendants was in a terrible mood - she was cold and rude and would not even look at passengers - which her fellow crewmates noticed and tried to compensate for."

Cons: "My itinerary was changed multiple times, most importantly impacting my arrival time into Victoria BC. This flight was changed twice, the first time I received an email notification telling me the new flight was an hour later. When I got my check-in email 24 hours before my trip was to begin I noticed the arrival time for my return flight had been changed again, this time arriving another hour later. I received no notice for this change. Other than a shuttle service, there are no late night public transit options from the Victoria airport into town--a 25 minute drive. I was left with 10 minutes between the late arrival of my flight to claim my bags, clear customs and try to make the last shuttle. I specifically purchased my ticket so I would have plenty of time to make this connection. I missed it and wound up having to take a $60 (not including tip) taxi to get into town. Changing my itinerary to arrive 2 hours later without notifying me is unacceptable. I've never had any pot-purchase itinerary changes happen to me on Alaska Airlines, which also has regular service between Seattle and Victoria. I'm inclined to make sure I always use them from now on."

Not a bad flight by any means but I guess I have been spoiled by superior service on all of my other weekly Delta flights."

Pros: "Our plane had mechanical issue with a parking brake which they left us know about once we loaded the plane. Unfortunately it was going to take to long so they switched us to another plane."
Cons: "Airlines in general need to enforce the carry on luggage rules. If it doesn't match the dimensions for the carry on specks then make the people Check it. Don't let it go. If I paid for a seat and I'm allowed two carry ons then there should be room for them. Don't ask people to check bags because of a full plane. The crew should have there own place to store their belongings, not where the passengers do and take their space. The life rafts need to be easy to get to but again should take up a spot a passenger has paid for their luggage to go. If that is the only space for these items then don't allow passengers to bring two items if in those seats or on the whole plane. It's really disappointing when your told you may have to check your bag because there's not enough room."

Pros: "I paid only $100 more round trip to DTW from SLC then I would have with other carriers, minus the hassle of connecting flights and paying fees that they don't tell you about up front (like $25 for a carry-on bag, oh and a another $12 per leg for a window seat). My experience, like my previous Delta experiences was absolutely enjoyable. From the quick boarding, super friendly gate agents, and flight crew, to the free on board entertainment, Delta has won me over once again. Oh and did I mention how great it is to board a flight, relax and watch a good movie, take a small nap, and deplane at your destination! Awesome!!"

I Forgot to bring my iPad Pro with me on this trip...and had no adequate access to any entertainment content."

Cons: "MSP baggage service was probably the longest delay I have ever experienced w Delta~40 minutes. (Overshadows the ahead of time arrival). Also, I had an oversize item-ski bag-which for some reason they did not deliver through the designated "oversize baggage" door but instead put out against the wall through a side door well down the terminal from the designated door. I might still be standing there except my traveling companion walked down that way and found it."

Pros: "I loved the service provided by the flight attendants as as well as the gate attendant who poked, prodded and did what he could to ensure our already late flight took off before it got stuck waiting for a gate at LAX. Thanks to him and the work of the crew, not only did the flight leave ASAP, our flight arrived early."
Cons: "I didn't like that the monitor for my seat was on the fritz and inoperable, which became a huge issue because of what follows. Making matters exponentially worse was the roughly 30-minute delay we experienced when we landed. Although our flight arrived at LAX early - in spite of the late departure from SLC - we were left waiting for a gate and were forced to wait for a gate. Inexplicably, the AC was turned off and the passengers all began to virtually cook while stuck in our seats. Also, due to another asinine snafu (the grounds crew didn't push a flight far out enough and blocked our plane along with eight others, which delayed our flight further. Adding insult to injury, my baggage was over 30 minutes late, too."

Why didn't they let us just sit in the airport until Delta knew one way or another? Been sitting, trapped in the plane, no AC, no announcement from the flight crew. Could be waiting in relative comfort inside the airport!!"

First landing attempt had to be aborted, the landing not being cleared by the control tower. Then we cruised, circling over the Ocean, and the lights of the city again. Finally we landed. Taxiing on the tarmac was interrupted many times, and took overall 30 minutes. The pilot kept informing us. I was probably not the only passenger that had and urgent need to reach a bathroom... Of course, Delta should not be blamed"

When we checked in at SLC the agent used my last name, which showed me the extra mile Delta staff will go to make the travel with them professional and curious. The flight left on time and when we arrived in Detroit our bags were already there waiting for us. Couldn't have asked for more!"

Over and over again I see people including myself and my traveling companion’s having to check their carry-on bag because their “too big” this is nonsense. These are standard size bags. It’s more than enough space on board the plane. In a way in which the gate check individuals handle this interaction is a palling you’re insulting demanding and don’t give you a chance to rearrange your luggage so I can go into their absurd dimensions"

As a result many people pulled their bags on and fought and struggled to force their luggage above, only to give up. The on-board agents recognized early the problem and then proceeded to allow many other passengers to stroll by them with their large roll-on bags, only to delay the boarding process and frustrate everyone. When making their safety announcement the flight attendant was clearly competing for fastest speaking human and rushed through at blazing speeds. In all my 30+ years of travel, I’ve never heard anything like it."

Pros: "Time was good. Ground service was good. In-flight was okay. Because I love Cathay so much I took a 3 hour longer trip through LA (vs. Seattle) and paid more. But I was berating myself for that. But the flight back was Cathay service at its finest."

Cons: "We were not told our passports needed to have an expiration past six months of travel even though we got back before the expiration. We entered our passport info including our expiration dates and we’re given no warning. We even had our boarding passes prior to showing up at the airport. We will not use Kayak in the future and will book direct through the airline moving forward."

Cons: "charged a surprise of $175 for my third bag although Kayak mentioned i should be charged $75 at the time of booking. AA says it is due to Jordanyan Airlines, why was I surprised by this extra charge?!"

It has been a while since I have flown United, I appreciated the spacious seating, comfortable seats and improved planes. Thanks for making the flight easy and enjoyable, it seems like the company has been working on making general improvements to their flights and it’s paying off."

Pros: "The crew was nice. When I finally arrived in Denver, Marlin in customer service was the only saving grace for United for me. When I asked for options for an earlier flight into Rapid City so I didn’t have to wait 24 hours and miss my visit with my sister, he looked at different hubs (Chicago, Minneapolis) to see if they had any available flights into Rapid, he checked for double bookings, and when he couldn’t find anything, he put me on the standby list for the first flight out in the morning and wrote down the flight information for all of the United flights from Denver for the following day. Marlin provided excellent customer service and was a huge credit to the company."
Cons: "The flight was supposed to leave at 3:56 pm and didn’t leave until 7:30 pm. I would estimate at least 15-20 people missed connecting flights because of the delay. According to the United app, the delay initially started in Portland due to mechanical issues, which took over 3 hours. Then, there was a weather delay in San Francisco according to the gate agent - there was a ground hold and no planes were landing or flying out. At some point, I would think another plane would have been an option rather than delaying a flight for this long and disrupting holiday travel for so many people."

The traffic made it feel like I was sitting on a bench in Grand Central Station. I chose an aisle seat but ended up mysteriously in the middle seat. I had extra leg room but if I’d eaten the free 5 pretzels I wouldn’t have been able to fit it my seat any longer. The WiFi wasn’t working for the first hour of the flight. The flight attendant got really annoyed when we didn’t look up when he came by with beverages the first time. We all had headphones on and were looking at our personal screens. The activity by the rest room was constant so we didn’t notice it wasn’t just someone waiting for the loo. The luggage took so long to come out I thought my conference would be over before I got it. Overall, I thought it was bad and confirmed why I don’t fly United. Old, dingy planes, poor service. The pilot was pleasant and communicative so there was at least that..."

Cons: "Flight from Calgary to Denver delayed three and half hours. Informed of this delay thirty minutes before scheduled departure when our plane hadn’t even left Denver yet to head to Calgary. ( 2.5 hr flight) once finally made it to Denver was informed that we missed connecting flight to Boston. We were then informed since it’s for “weather” reasons earlier in the day that caused a sequence of delays they couldn’t accommodate us for hotel. We were given two “blankets” which were as thin as a sheet and each one bottle of water. Some other people around us received good voucherS. We did not. We walked around the airport for close to an hour looking for anyplace we could lay down and sleep. None were to be found. We tried to sleep on the floor but was so cold and uncomfortable I literally got sick to my stomach. Another fun thing added to mix. We were placed on another flight as 6 the next morning. After no sleeping at all we boarded our next flight Which was not a direct flight to Boston but would be from Denver to Newark then Newark to Boston. We were suppose to originally land in Boston at 0600 Monday. Instead we arrived at 1430 after getting zero sleep. My husband and I were also unable to sit together which was extra special for people around me because after not sleeping I continued to be sick to my stomach."

Pros: "Seats were comfortable, we were in first class. United provided a good selection of recent movies."
Cons: "United stewardesses have little to no interest in their duties. Questions were clearly an annoyance to them. The leg of flight from Denver to Des Moines was very uncomfortable, seats much to tigh, no leg room. Gate staff in Denver were exceptional. United needs to revisit their time for loading. We preloaded, I had a broken leg, I was traveling with a special needs woman. We just reached our seats when other passengers were prodding us to sit so they could board no time to settle. Not impressed"

Pros: "The flight attendants were so nice, and although our flight was delayed and hour and fifteen minutes and our layover was an hour and fifteen minutes, we were able to make our connection! Since our connection to Portland in Denver was the last flight of the night, they were able to hold it for us. This was wonderful because there weren’t many flights out that weren’t booked solid for the next day. The attendants on this flight were great about updating us with information for the connections and telling us when we would land in Denver."

Pros: "For the first time I did not fly on a puddle jumper. Not only was it a real jet, it had good seat comfort and leg room even in economy class. The crew was friendly and attentive. They came by with offerings of water at least 4 times for a 2+ hour flight. Contrast that with my last two 5 hour flights on Virgin and American where they came by with water — ONCE. WiFi wasn’t working for either flight and of course the lack of decent food is discouraging. The coffee has improved which is a plus. Overall, good job, United! Nice not to be jammed in like sardines for once."
Cons: "Every time I fly to Denver, we land in one terminal and your connection is in another terminal that requires a train ride to get there. ,ayovers are short — generally barely an hour. If the flight is late you stand a very good chance of missing your connection, as I’m betting happened to over half the passengers on this flight. I was the lucky exception — this aircraft was actually the connecting flight too. Why can’t all United connections be in the same terminal? It makes no sense."

Knowing this, they didn't bring enough luggage carts, so they only brought some of the luggage to the baggage claim and didn't tell us this. 5-6 of us waited and waited and finally asked someone who told us that they had to go back to the plane to get the rest of the luggage. Those of us still waiting got to wait another half hour for our luggage. Talk all they want, United just can't seem to get it right. PS: those of us who had to wait were the ones who got to the San Antonio airport the earliest and thus our luggage was on the plane first."

The woman at the desk said, can't help you, go to the help desk. At the help desk they never said sorry, just rebooked us for a flight leaving 6.5 hoursgot later. Here are some food vouchers (which don't work at all of the food places in the airport). Have a good day."

This is a normal behavior however, there employee decided to stop boarding because she said people were crowding. she stop boarding for another 20 minutes. Now, this was a large flight and there wasn't enough room for everyone to stand off to the side. She was rude and there was no reason for this especially when the flight attendant was already late. The plane was delayed 45 minutes due to this"

That was a lie bc when we checked in at the gate to get our seats the lady said no one was sitting next to each other! That lady was rude and short tempered! Awful experience will never fly again!!"

Pros: "The friendly co-travelers as there is no food or entertainment for people on a budget. Better than my flight TO SLC which was cancelled the first day, then delayed the 2nd day. Airport services saved my day by carting me to the connecting flight TO SLC from Denver as there was only 15 minutes to get from one end of the concourse to the other. A little difficult to run there at my age. Any chance of allowing people with connecting flights disembark first instead of last in this situation?"
Cons: "Due to inclement weather conditions no liquids were served. Small bottles of water would be great - less likely to spill over in bad weather and thirst would also be quenched. Lack of luggage space for those of us with the correct allowance hand luggage instead of all the extra large pieces because people don't want to go to baggage claims or pay for baggage. Truly their suitcase not paid for is the same as mine paid for. Difference is the inconvenience of having to keep my hand luggage at my feet because of the larger pieces filled by passengers in group 1, 2, and 3 over my designated seat area."

Cons: "Unable to pre-check online. Unable to check at the check in machines--had to go up and check in at the counter, long wait because there was only one clerk. We were then given a ticket just to get through security and had to check in a second time when we get to the gate for seat assignment, which is ridiculous. Why couldn't that be done at the 1st check-in? The clerk told me she will call me when she has the seat assignment/ boarding ticket but she never did and I had to go back up to ask for them when it was getting close to boarding time. At the last moment minutes, volunteers could check in their carry on for free....It would have been nice (and less hassle) to have that option at the 1st check-in."

I know everyone complains about so many things, and this wasn't the end of the world, but still, it's not ideal. The seating/etc seemed more disorganized than usual for this flight."

Cons: "I'm usually a patient person, but my flight was supposed to leave at 525am and didn't leave until 730. This was the first flight in the morning. We boarded, waiting 30 minutes on the plane, they told us to get off because there were computer issues. Why wasn't that checked before everybody was boarded? Once we got on the plane we had to wait another 30 minutes for the crew to get someone's luggage from under the plane. Why wasn't that done while the computer was getting fixed? I didn't get to Denver until 1040am missed my flight and didn't get to get on my connection until 500pm. In the meantime I called to get on a different flight at 1, but the guy on the phone didn't actually book me a seat. The gate people weren't very nice."

I did so, but when I looked in the overhead bin after the flight, it was empty. When we arrived in Denver, I waited at the baggage carousel, watched everyone pick up there bags, until there were only 5 or 6 bags going around. I then went to a counter behind the carousel and asked about my bag. I was only then told that my bag had been there the whole time I was waiting."

Arrived late to Denver because of weather, but my stroller that I had left on the jetway in Seattle was never put on the plane which I didn't know until I got to minot. I was going to wait for it in denver, but I would have missed my flight to minot had I waited 5 more minutes. We arrived to minot only to find out that our 3 suitcases, one stroller and 2 car seats were never in the flight. Awful! And my connecting flight was even delayed an extra 55 min so I don't quite know where my things are."

Cons: "I paid for 2 round trip tickets and because my son was not there for the first leg, they resold the seat. So they got my money and the other person's money for the same seat. I wanted both seats and paid for both seats. It is theft and should not be allowed. The flight attendant was extremely rude and dismissive. It is a poor practice. You could have at least asked first before rebooking the seat. At least have offered compensation or something. I probably would have said yes Anyway. It's the principle of the process being wrong to the consumer which only benefits the corporation."

Cons: "My flight was scheduled to leave at 4:51 pm. I arrived at the airport 2 and a half hours before my flight was to leave and I read the departure board to see that the flight was delayed due to maintenance. Then I saw that it was delayed again because we were waiting for a flight coming in from the Bahamas. Well my flight didn't take off until about 7:30 pm. I arrived in Denver around 10:00 pm which made me miss my shuttle to the Springs. I am a diabetic and was in need of my medication so I needed to get home. I spent extra money to take a bus to downtown Denver and a grayhound bus to the springs and a cab to my home. So my trip cost my an extra $55.00 dollars I didn't have. I have always taken United but after this experience, I will never again take United."

Cons: "Recently United decided to cancel all of their flights to Denver due to an April snow storm. United was the only company that chose to cancel rather than delay flights. Our flight was cancelled 24 hrs before any snow fell. Their solution was to offer us another flight over 72 hrs out. After spending 6 hrs on the phone with this company (not exaggerating) I feel entitled to say that this company holds zero accountability or concern for their customers. We had to spend an additional $500 to get to our destination last minute through JetBlue."

Pros: "The crew is AMAZING!!! Personal, professionals, they go above and beyond my personal standard of customer service. Very comfortable atmosphere. Not to be mistaken with the uncomfortable seats. I like to think United doesn't overlook the work ethic their employees represent the company with on a day to day basis."
Cons: "I travel for work from Grand Junction, Colorado to Dickinson, North Dakota every 4 to 6 weeks. I always fly United. On one occasion I met family in Colorado Springs, so I bought a round trip ticket from Dickinson to Colorado Springs. I missed the second half of my round trip flight from Colorado Springs to Dickinson. I had to pay my own cab fare from Colorado Springs to Denver to catch my flight, because your plane, that i paid for a flight on, had mechanical issues and didn't make it to Colorado Springs. Second, my flight in Denver was cancelled 3 times and almost a fourth. I all but got down on my knees and begged to catch the fourth flight they tried to cancel. Third, I didn't even get to fly into Dickinson. So instead of somebody coming and picking me up in Dickinson which is a 30-minute drive from where I work, somebody had to drive 3 hours to Williston where you guys ended up getting me. Which cost me 3 hours of gas money to get picked up, instead of 30 min of gas money. I didn't get either of the flights back to North Dakota that I paid for. I've asked for the reasonable request that I be refunded 50% of the cost of the airfare and the $235 it cost for cab fare. When I contacted United about this I got the runaround from everybody. At this point I've pretty much accepted the loss, and the financial hit. I'll continue to fly United only because it's pretty much my only option. Just make sure you keep the crew around. They're great. I'd hate for the experience to go from unsatisfying, to miserable."

Cons: "We arrived at the airport to find out Frontier had failed to notify us our flight had been delayed. There was no call or email notification. Because of this delay, we would be missing our connecting flight from Denver to Miami, and because of that, missing our check in time to board our Cruise in Miami. We could not find any reasonable one way plane ticket from SLC to Miami to arrive in time that was less than $700 per person. We ended up having to make the choice to miss our cruise, our vacation, and all our flights. Over $1000 down the drain. Absolutely Unbelievable. I am shocked and disappointed by this, I cannot believe what a huge let down this is. The one thing I can say is that Frontier did attempt to make amends by offering a small $100 flight voucher (although frankly after this experience, why on earth should I fly with them?) but the attempts to fix it, like offering to rebook us (for a fee I should add) to fly to Orlando, but that WE’D have to pay to find a way to Miami (which is at least a 3 hour drive!) were absolute nonsense. I’m out $1000, I missed an amazing opportunity, I lost my vacation, and I now have had to waste limited time off days at work. Absolutely horrific experience"

I needed to get on my next flight! It was 11pm and I still had to flight all night, so it was very exhausting and stressful! I was running thru the airport to my next flight."

Want to carry on a bag or push everything you need into a small backpack? Oh, need to take clothes? Well that's $40...per carry on, $60+ at the airport. Oh, you wanted to sit down? That will cost you...$10 per seat minimum, again more at the airport. Btw, those fees only cover one leg of the trip. You can save by leaving your luggage there. See how helpful we are? You think you are getting a good fare but the fees have made my trip almost three times the initial fare. United is testing similar "economy" fares. None of this information is presented upfront so it's a bait and switch scenario. Also, trying to reach a human being is nearly impossible. I feel sorry for the customer service reps, they should get hazard pay. They have to try to justify these ridiculous policies. Save yourself money and frustration and NEVER FLY FRONTIER AIRLINES!!!!!!!"

Cons: "The planes were old, made strange noises, no Wi-Fi, TV, or any amenities. Seemed way more cramped than other airlines. Expect to wait in an extremely long line to check in. The first flight, the plane made a very strange noise at the wing till we had been in the air for a long time. The connecting flight, the flight attendant told us that the plane had weight or balance issues, and we were all seated the way we needed to be for the plane to fly properly, so we could not change seats (a portion of the middle of the plane had empty seats). It was extremely uncomfortable, as the seats didn't recline at all, and I'm extremely short, but was cramped up against the seat in front of me. Only one arm rest that was about an inch & a half wide per seat. Also, I think they offered soda, but no snacks. They charge for all baggage, the carry on bag costs $45, while the checked bag is $40 ($80 for 2 checked bags one way), & they have specific "linear" dimensions for the size of the CHECKED bags, or they will charge something like $100 extra. Even though the actual flight was cheap, the price of baggage & feeling so cramped, & scared that the plane wasn't working properly, I wouldn't fly this airline again."

Cons: "This was my first frontier flight and I plan to not take them again. My total flight cost came out to be the same as a normal flight on better airlines after all was said and done. The base price of the flight is cheaper than others, but just know that the add-ons is where they get you. Paying for every little thing is absolutely ridiculous (60$ for checked bag round trip, seating assignments that ranged from $15-$27 but the type of seat or leg room does not change between those prices, only water was available for free...all other sodas and juices cost money). Be prepared to pay for your carry on as well if it doesn't fit under your seat infront of you. On top of this, the seats are like sitting in plastic folding chairs. No cushioning on seat or back and they do not recline, which makes paying extra for a seat even more frustrating. No wifi or in flight entertainment on board either...this is the 21st century, if other 'budget' airlines can provide the minimum of wifi then frontier should as well, to make up for everything I stated above. The flight attendants were fine, nothing spectacular though. I've had friendlier attendants on other flights. A man a few rows behind me threw up as we were preparing to land as well. I know this has nothing to do with the flight, but it was the first time I've had something like that occur on a flight."

This is the first time I have actually listened to the entire flight preparation speech in years... and IF the plane had gone down... I would have died happy and laughing... Sure hope we get to sit together! Lame. The seats were one step above folding lawn chairs. Lame. When the flight crew refers to the 6 inch by 3 inch "table" as a "barbie tray" that makes it funny, but no less lame. Before this flight I truly had no opinion about which airline I should fly, but now I do have a preference... Literally anyone other than Frontier."

Cons: "Although the flight itself was cheaper than competitors initially being charged for every single thing made it more expensive in the end and I felt like they cared more about taking my money than me as a consumer. After all the charges I ended up paying more than flying another airline. They charged for food (even snacks for my kid), seating (it's necessary that my wife and I sit together with a 1 year old), carry-ons (which are ridiculously overpriced), and checked bags (normal for airlines although they charged more than Delta and United). In the end I paid about $50 more than I would have flying DELTA. The plain didn't have wifi so my kid could watch something during the flight, and the seats didn't recline. Further, my son wasn't listed on our boarding passes so they made us wait until everyone else had boarded to get us new boarding passes because there was only 1 attendant. Even after printing new passes they didn't work. The flight was delayed and then, because there was only a single attendant, we were extremely late to our next flight. They were so late that even with a two hour delay we wouldn't have made our connecting flight except that it was our connecting flight."

Cons: "My departure was a nightmare. I was in the airport from 8pm to 3am. And that's just for an hour flight. It incontinence my family who had to pick me up. No pilot could be found, then a flight attendant was not counted for so the second delay happen. When we finally made it to our destination we must have waited 25min on the plane which seemed like an eternity. They didn't have a gate ready and it took time to find airport personnel to help us with a port to exit the plane. Now granted Frotier sent me a flight voucher as an apology but I am still very frustrated that I kept telling my family that it was still delayed. He didn't sleep hardly anything. And it took a toll on my holiday family visit."

Cons: "I missed this flight because my train trip delayed my arrival to the airport until 30 minutes til flight time. There's this rule that Frontier had, on a sign on the vacant desk that said that check-in ended 45 minutes prior to boarding, as well as checking bags. I had missed the window, so I missed the flight. It was not my fault. Also, the travel insurance I'd bought could do nothing for me in this case. Another passenger was in the same predicament and was very upset. I ended up getting a flight on Southwest last minute at the counter down the row in the airport and making it safely to my destination, even though it was a hassle. Southwest is a real airline and they always come through."

Cons: "In order to check in for my flight, I had to pay $10 for my economy seat and pay $20 for a carry on. Drinks and snacks on board were purchase only. Why do I have to pay for a seat I have already paid for? This is very lousy service to add on fees everywhere. I will stick with delta and over airlines in the future."

Pros: "Online check in is a great idea, however when there are no agents at the gate to take your bags or give you your boarding pass, it really defeats the purpose."
Cons: "When I arrived at the airport, there were no agents t the gate to check my bags with or get my boarding pass from and as a result I missed my flight, The next available flight was the next day, which was too late for me. Frontier is the only airline at the Charlotte airport without a customer kiosk for printing boarding passes. Horrible customer service!"

Cons: "Our flight was oversold. They bumped 27 people do to a "downgrade" of the flight to a smaller plane. This meant they avoid full compensation do to FAA rules. Got bumped 24 hours because Frontier does not partner with other airlines. Despite never having been given a seat assignment they didn't standby tag my checked luggage and sent it ahead so I had to stay an extra night without a change of clothes, etc. Next day the flight was oversold again and they bumped another 25 people. Every flight this trip left and arrived late. The pilot explained that the baggage handlers were in a contract dispute with management as they were overworked and underpaid. As a result they were also short staffed. Saw many miss connecting flights as a result. I will never fly Frontier again."

Pros: "Flight was cheap AF. Paid a total of $416 for two from Wisconsin to Salt Lake City, laying over in Denver, (price includes bag fees - we combined into one checked bag at $25 each way)."
Cons: "3 of the 4 portions of our flight had delays. On the way out, we were stalled on the tarmac waiting for a crew to unload us at our layover in Denver (an hour wait, and while it didn't affect us, a couple of passengers missed their layover). On the return trip, both our morning flight and our second flight after the layover were delayed (each delay lasted only an hour or so), but it is the fact that every step of the way had a delay that was so frustrating to my significant other. Personally, I knew going in that Frontier wasn't the most timely or comfortable team, but they got us to and from our wedding, so they got the job done. Just win, baby."

Pros: "The crew was excellent."
Cons: "This is definitely the bottom of the heap when it comes to airlines. They offer a competitive price on a flight, but once booked they nickel and dime you until the price is higher than a better airline. They charge for seat choice on the whole plane, snacks and drinks, carry on and checked luggage, and there is no entertainment. Plus the seats felt like cardboard, and didn't recline. Definitely not a good choice for a red eye, or any flight over an hour long. Actually, no matter how short your flight is, you'll probably be more comfortable taking the bus. Two big thumbs down."

Cons: "Bsit-and-switch with the fees for any carryon or checked bag and my layover was 7,5 hours after a post-purchase itinerary change; it was originally 2.5 hourts."

Pros: "The flight itself was fine"
Cons: "The fact that you have to pay for a bag that you are carrying on the plane and putting in the overhead bin. They charged $40.00 for my overhead compartment bag. I had one personal bag and one bag that went in the overhead compartment and they still charged $40.00!!! You also have to pay for any 'snacks' or 'drinks' on the flight. Needless to say, I will not be flying with Frontier again."

Cons: "No entertainment on the plane at all. Also no food. We had breakfast that day and that was it. There was no time to get some food during the stopover in denver, so we ate nothing until 9 pm that day. Employees were kind of rude too for no reason. They kept advertising their creditcard. Wouldve been enough to say it once during the flight, but instead they kept on talking about it for the whole flight, which was super annoying!"

Pros: "Plane was clean"
Cons: "Frontier is always late. They never board on time and once they start boarding they try rushing the passengers to make take off time. Arrived to destination 40 minutes late"

Pros: "Although there were delays we arrived at our final destination within 20 minutes. The baggage fees did help keep a lot of people from bringing on bags which helped to get the plane boarded faster. The ticketing counter staff person (female) was brilliant working two workstations to help move the line because the kiosks were not functioning (while one workstation was printing she used another workstation to start the next customer) and she did it with a big smile and was very pleasant."
Cons: "When I purchase an airplane ticket I think my seat should come with the price of the ticket. I had to check in 24 hours before the flight just to get a free seat and then I still ended up paying for one more seat. I needed to pay a baggage fee for a checked or carry on bag. We opted for the checked bag because it was cheaper. Snacks needed to be purchased as well at outrageous prices, two cans of soda and two snacks for $8.99, WOW! The seats did not recline. Flight delays were not explained."

Pros: "I liked the crew, they were very personable and nice."
Cons: "Charging $40 per carry on? Are you kidding me?? We didn't budget for that and almost had to fly with no luggage. For this reason alone we are never taking another flight from Frontier. It's bad enough that Frontier charges for all baggage, but we had no idea when we bought the tickets off Kayak, that it would be an extra $130 for luggage. What a rip off. Then at the airport, the line to get a baggage ticket wasn't that long, but it took almost 45 minutes. Every time we fly Southwest or Delta, it takes only 10 minutes to get our baggage tagged and on our way to security. I was also unpleasantly surprised that even water costs $2. Other airlines give a free drink, but Frontier charges $2. Terrible. And the seats don't recline. In summary for areas to improve: don't charge me for carry on and don't charge me for water."

Cons: "Another passenger's food spilled in my seat. I asked the flight attendant for some help. He brought paper towels -for ME - to clean the mess. He stood there watching while I cleaned up?! Suprisingly poor service from an airline I already expected poor service and attitude from."

Pros: "It was economical. The staff did the best they could with a rough situation."
Cons: "First, I had to pay $40 for a carry on bag. Second, the flight boarded and took off late. Third, we arrived late because of the late takeoff but I wasn't too worried because we landed in plenty of time for me to catch my shuttle but then we sat on the runway waiting for another plane to depart from our gate for 30 minutes (which is actually the same reason our departure was late) so I missed my shuttle."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "-flight got delayed for almost two hours without explanation and so missed connection - stayed another 1 and half hours at an airport nearby the destination because run out of gas -stand in the line from 10pm to 2:30am at the gate customer service desk to look for possible flight and found no seat available for the next 3 days - whole family stayed overnight at the airport due to missed connection but they didn't provide any voucher -have to spend another $1600 to change carrier but got only less than a quarter refund - they charge for carry on"

Pros: "Flight was fine"

Pros: "Plane was fine and the pilots were good."
Cons: "Both flights I had were delayed the first one by almost two hours. EVERYTHING other than one personal bag costs extra. Not worth the few extra dollars you save and you won't actually end up saving any money if you plan on taking more than one bag."

Cons: "Given the expense of using commercial air for a couple of hours, would it be too much trouble for a company to care about its passengers? Even water was barely offered. I had to make a request. A woman who was claustrophobic had to endure a 4 hour flight in a seat that would have been fine for others, but clearly difficult for her, because crew wouldn't make an effort to find someone who might switch seats with her. Even carry-on luggage is now extra charge? No entertainment and stow tables too tiny for even a personal laptop/notebook. Are the companies cheap because they're broke or did the price of gas go up?? Other people's incomes aren't exactly stellar. Please look at the statistics. These are your primary customers."

Cons: "Where to start? Our first flight was delayed by over two hours with no explanation. Our connecting flight was also significantly delayed. Once we arrived at our destination, we realized our bags had not. All three pieces of our checked luggage are missing. We're on a beach vacation nearly four hours from the airport with no swimsuits, towels, toothbrushes. Thanks for nothing, Frontier!"

Cons: "Was not informed I would have to pay for a Carey on bag. Was in a seat that didn't recline and was uncomfortable the whole time. I will never fly fronter again"

Cons: "Charged for every little thing. Didn't even get complimentary snacks or drinks. Prices ridiculous for food and drink. Seats were not comfortable. Neck was sore. Won't be flying this airline again."

Pros: "Cheap, efficient budget airline, good for weekend getaways with a personal item and no carry ons."
Cons: "water is $, boarding is constantly lagging because people argue with boarding agents about cost of carry ons"

Pros: "It was less crowded with less people having carry ons"
Cons: "I was annoyed to not know when I bought my ticket that I would have to pay for both a carry on and a checked bag."

Cons: "They charge more to carry-on than to check. By the time they made that clear, it was too late to check and they just threatened to raise it from $40 to $60 if I didn't act quickly. Everyone involved—from the gate attendant to customer service—has an impatient, condescending response about how these policy was made clear at the time of purchase. They are obviously very well practiced at explaining their ostensibly clear policies to throngs of ignorant masses who somehow didn't understand them when they purchased their ticket. In fact, their speech is so well rehearsed that you'd almost—almost!—start to question if they have actually made their baggage policies as clear as they think."

Pros: "Flight was on time."
Cons: "Seats are not comfortable, tray tables are tiny, amenities are non existent without a surcharge."

Cons: "Due to failure of communication with a mechanical problem, we were forced off the plane after waiting almost an hour to take off. The staff would not say what the problem was but kept pushing the estimated departure time further and further back. After waiting three hours I finally took the initiative to go in line to the desk to find an alternate route, after already missing my connecting flight. The staff redirected me through Chicago instead of Denver as was originally expected, but failed to redirect my luggage. Upon arrival in Minneapolis my luggage was lost. Being understaffed, it took another half an hour for a staff member to show up, but they could not explain what happened to our luggage. Instead of figuring out the problem, they had us fill out an information sheet and told us, "when they find your luggage they will call you". They tried calling a supervisor to help us but after an hour wait on the supervisor I finally left the airport, six and a half hours after originally expected."
