Seats too close together. Seats should not recline without additional space between seats.. Meal service and seat reclining is a huge problem.
Gate change at boarding was announced last minute and was far away from the original gate, and no text or email was sent to alert you; they kept spraying air freshener ugh! You could barely hear the announcements;
It was a very pleasant return flight. Their crew took great care of us and seemed to have so much pride to represent their destination and airline. We were on a Boeing plane and it reminded me that I really prefer the Airbus. We were in coach and when the person in front of me decided to sit in my lap, I could hardly move. The most important thing to know is that at CDG in Terminal 2, the passport control/border crossing is past the shopping mall and restaurant area. We thought the line was for Starbucks, but there was a 45-50 minute wait to get to the entrance to passport control. It would have been great if the airline staff could have warned us about it when we checked in. Not having any knowledge of it, we stopped for a little breakfast and were caught totally by surprise by the length of the line. The CDG staff did an excellent job of triage, trying to identify those who might miss their flights. But what a stressful hour that was, and totally avoidable had we understood. On board the food was quite good but it's still airline food, and the menu on the flight services screen at our seats did not align with what was actually served for the main meal. Pilots made an extra effort to find good air for us so there was very little turbulence, unusual for a winter flight.
Our flight was canceled a few hours prior to our scheduled departure. I was advised to book a new flight on another airline and we would be reimbursed for the original flight. Of course, that was denied and we're out $700. Many Alaska Airlines were canceled that day due to computer issues. This is completely unfair to us and we should be reimbursed for the extra money we had to spend.
My daughter and I were seated together, but our TVs weren’t working. They moved us to different seats with working tvs, but we couldn’t be together anymore.
I hope you can influence the airport at Papeete. It is in need of upgrading. Only 1 plug to charge in the open area, only 2 once you have passed security. Security was extremely outdated. They had me turn on my computer, and my camera. 9/11 was a long time ago. There were only a few ceiling fans so the comfort level was really low while waiting for my flight.
The staff on the flight were very friendly and willing to assist in anything possible. The food was plentiful, and the trip went very smoothly with the flight, arriving an hour early. Very impressed with the flight attendance with Air Tahiti Nui!
I’m not an airline food fan but the service was excellent!
There is no legroom for someone who is even a little taller than average. The woman in front of me leaned her seat back all the way, so that my knees were wedged up against her seat. When I asked her to adjust it, she flatly refused, and the flight attendant basically told me that I would have to put up with it - for an 11-hour flight! I will not use this airline again.
Really good experience. Was reasonably priced, Boarding was easy, on time, and service was great. No complaints at all :)
I love Alaska! We arrived on the later side without seat assignments only to find the had oversold the flight by 1. The attendants worked extra hard to find a way for our party of 7 to stay together and we made it on the flight! Loved the free WiFi also!
I paid for the WiFi and it didn’t work during the whole flight
Impressed that Alaska Air(for our domestic flight) transferred our checked bags to EVA (for our international flights) so that we didn't have to handle them, & we just picked them up at our final destination.
The flight was on time and got in early which allowed us to get to our next flight.
The plane not having any overhead bin space was inconvenient. Anytime my luggage has to be checked it ends up covered in scratches and that’s not covered by the airlines for replacement/repair. The WiFi did not work or was not offered for the flight from Seattle to Vancouver.
I enjoyed the movie selection. I’m glad I saw ahead of time to bring personal ear buds. I don’t normally have them with me and airlines used to give them out.
Most of it was good. The flights were on time. The staff were helpful and friendly. I had a short time connecting flights and they let me deplane first and I made the connection. On the outbound from DTW to SEA I was seated in the middle of two very large people. I am petite and even with my arms crossed they were both hanging over into my seat touching me. The meal had way too much pepper and spice, my lips were burning. Other than those two issues, I was pleased with the service and the trip and will use Alaska Air again.
Delay for switching planes. Then delay after delay (mechanical) after boarding so that we were almost 3 hrs late, getting in at 230am. Crew was good.
man & woman back side flight attendant was very rude. I live in Seattle. I use a lot of time Alaska flights. I always like them for fact that my favorite airline employees very rude. It’s disappointing. .
The seats were spacious and comfortable. Even in basic economy. However, the flight boarded 30 minutes late.
Totally worth the miles to upgrade to Delta Comfort. Plenty of legroom.
This was my first time flying Delta ever and I had a great experience!
Smallest leg room I've ever had on a plane.
They took all carry-on luggage from Groups 6 -9 - I was group 5 and waiting in line to board - they made me check my luggage too. That then went to baggage claim and delayed departure from the airport. There was overhead room in my seating area - Delta over reacted. Also, had a gentleman next to me that took up 1/2 my seat.
Excellent!!! Aeromexico is a great airline. What was not that good is the service provided by Kayak. It is never clear and not easy to manage.
Flight delay was frustrating, also you cannot checkin online without delta app, web browser check-in throw errors
The gate agent was most helpful in getting me on to fly standby. I greatly appreciate it.
bulkhead seat had very little legroom - even in bsiness class.
The plane was an older model, so it wasn’t as comfortable as others. The flight attendants were not helpful during onboarding. It was a full flight so there was chaos finding space for baggage.
Sorry I didn't realize I was writing a review for each leg. Please see my previous review - it applies to the entire flight, not just a single leg.
Very old flight - time to retire it for newer airplanes
2+ hours delayed Outlet in row 12 did not work Tv monitors did not work Lights kept off the entire flight for at 5pm-7pm flight
Very disappointing given gate agent behavior. Filed a formal complaint with United.
Do not like the size of the overhead bin. I think staff should monitor the size of suitcases that are being carried on by passengers to ensure they meet the size requirement.
Crew was great (professional, attentive, prompt). Snacks for 4 hrs flight is deplorable.
Flight delayed. WiFi connectivity very poor if not existant. Last minute arrival forced me to run to catch my connection.
Both of my flights arrived early and check in process was smooth
Terrible. No customer service, no food, no drinks on a 6 hour premier economy booking.
Short flight, but no drink/snack service. The flights both going and coming were delayed.
Much better than Spirit. I was please by the easy fast check in and boarding
Boarding delayed 20 minutes for no reason, no wifi, in flight entertainment, or snacks / waters?
Didn't get a seat assignment until the last minute even though i picked a seat.
American has been able to implement an algorithm that makes it possible for nearly every one of my evening flights to be late. Congratulations!
I was on a small regional flight from Detroit to Philadelphia. When we landed the outside cruise needed to turn something off with the engine, which took quite a long time. Then, when they allowed us to get off the plane it was outside. They took their time, unloading all the luggage and waited till they unloaded all the luggage before they brought it over to us. It was 9 o’clock at night freezing cold out, and there was no proactive hustle to try to get people their luggage. It was really one of the worst experiences I think I’ve ever had with American until a manager came over. I don’t think they were going to even consider pulling the luggage over to the people that had been waiting outside for at least 10 minutes in the freezing cold.
The flight was fine, once we got underway. It was more than hour delayed
Beverage service was not good. Also just one service in 5 hr 30 min flight. No ask fir water ir anything beside one time beverage service.
Waited for oxygen tanks for 30 minutes after boarding was complete.
The seats are too uncomfortable for anyone over 5ft 8in. I'm 5'10" with a back and hip issue and I was in pai for the full duration of the flight.
The flight was on time/early, attentive crew, and everything overall went smoothly. Disappointed that WIFI was not working for the flight.
One day, I do so hope for a gluten free snack! Seems like with the rest of the world FINALLY figuring out what gluten free is, American Airlines would too. Fingers crossed!!
