New aircraft was late arriving from toronto as usual and the toilet was busted meaning 25 people had to be shed from the flight to allow it to leave and we were then delayed and hour as baggage was transferred to another aircraft. Not AC's best performance.
They changed planes and the seats I paid for at reservation were different on the new plane. No warning!!
Short flight - 37 minutes or so.
Bathroom door kept swinging open.
Crew was friendly and responsive. Gate crew kept passengers informed of the delays. Flight itself was ok.
Flight ETD was 8:25 but plane developed a mechanical problem. After about 20 minutes waiting for maintenance the Captain decided to go back to the gate for fuel and repairs. After maintenance came on board the decision was made to deplane. Finally, a plane from Chicago was scheduled to take us to San Diego. After boarding at about 12:30, it was discovered that catering never loaded food. We waited for over an hour for food to be delivered. At close to 2pm the Captain, who kept us aware of what was going on, asked us if we would agree to leave without a full delivery of food, and all agreed. So by 2pm we were finally enroute to San Diego but having a seat in the back meant we only got to eat what was left, which for me, was a small cheese pack.
the flight attendants and service were amazing and perfect. The green tea from All Nippon Airline was awesome.
All the food were terribly salty, inedible because the beef was hard like rock, I was unable to eat or chew. The sauce was salty and terrible so threw them away. In general, the food were inedible and poorly prepared that means they were not considerate and discreet about cooking, selecting material,too. The airline only pick the terribly cheap meat to scam and mistreat the passengers. I felt I was ripped off and sadden.

I had to put up with *loud* banter from 2 flight attendants at the back of the plane throughout the entire flight, which was freakin' annoying to say the least. I'm NOT interested which pilot or male attendant you find cute or want to make out with. You also really shouldn't laugh at passengers' faces after telling them to resume their seat to the upright position. A real shame since their performance "on the floor" was perfect.

Landed in Canada to let off a "sick" passenger, sat there for hours and after the pilot made countless excuses, including needing to refuel, needing a new route, and needing to de-ice the plane, he finally announced that we're headed all the way back to Newark for some unknown reason. Worst flight ever. Couldn't be any less happy. F*** this airline. Will never use again. Ruined my vacation, thanks a lot.

The flight existed
China Eastern made no efforts to get me and several other passengers through the crowded airport security in time to board. They never called out our names over intercom or even delayed boarding at all, and simply closed the gates and took off without us although we were only five minutes late to the gate (15m before takeoff). We were refused a hotel for the night and had to figure out and pay for our own accommodation until the next flight takes off. Prior to all of this, I had to cancel one of the three flights I booked because ONE letter in the last name of a passenger was missing. This mistake cost me around $800 and a ton of hassle. I will never book with Justfly and China Eastern again, and Kayak shouldn't have a well-known fraudulent Booker like Just fly in their search results.
Last minute seating was good - got a window seat with an empty seat between me and another passenger for the long flight. Big bonus.
Flight was late getting out of the gate and there were only 2 lavatories working (out of 5) for the entire economy section of plane. No drink service except for with the one meal served during the flight - which was okay by me, because who wants an extra trip to the bathroom when the lavs aren't working?

I began asking for my wheelchair escort the minute I got off the plane. I was assured in Houston they would be there when I got to Detroit. They were not. The request was clearly spelled out on my boarding pass along with my personal oxygen equipment information. I kept asking different staff and they would call for me then say somebody would be there. I waited for an entire hour and only when I started to cry did somebody do something. It was terribly stressful.
Equipment was nice and well maintained. Seats are comfortable for coach. Video at each seat. Friendly staff.
Everything is good except our lunch as described below.
They ran out of chicken breast in our lunch packages, so the stewardess went back to get it. After 10 minutes she still did not show up, we turned on the help light, and still no one came. Finally she passed by and we reminded her the 2 chicken breast lunch packs, she said : "Sorry, I've forgotten about them" and ran back to get them for us.

Plane not full so had 2 seats to myself. Stewardesses nice but didn’t all speak English.
Only got asked for a drink one time. I could have used a snack,but I was trying to sleep so maybe they just didn’t disturb me. Left bright lights on whole trip. No Wi-Fi on this flight available.
Took a red eye, so slept most of the way. Crew was super chill and let me sleep the whole way. Minor turbulence, but the captain made announcements and made sure everyone felt at ease. Quick to unload passengers once we arrived at the gate. Didn't use the in-flight entertainment but there was a cool and updated map feature that was much better and more high-tech than previous AC flights I have taken. Also enjoyed how the cabin door separated economy from business class, so we didn't have to wait for the entire front of the plane to unload from the same door.
Baggage claim took FOREVER. Air Canada needs to work on this. Waited over 1 hour.
Entertainment. GoGo did not want to work for me at 1 he before arrival.
Give me a coupon for food before takeoff or on arrival. Skip the CupofNoodles. After Japan and Shanghai, cup of noodles seem really in bad taste.

I did not like the attitude of the obese old man (I, too, am an obese old woman) as I saw it toward some of my cabin mates.
Everything is good except our lunch as described below.

Unexpected delay for take off after being told the flight was going to be on time. They couldn’t give us a reason or an eta on take off while waiting at the gate which affected my ride situation once I landed in Seattle.

Check in and boarding went very smoothly. The crew was very attentive. They came through the cabin several times with the drink cart. And after dinner was served, gave everyone a bottle of water. Good choice of movies, food was good and the light breakfast was actually very filling. Excellent croissants. Overall great flight.
