Cons: "My only complaint was with check-in. I used the self-serve kiosk, which was easy to follow and efficient. The problem arose when I needed to check my bag. The computer instructs the passenger to go to the "baggage drop-off area," which I did. However, there was nobody there to receive my bag or to check my ID and give me a boarding pass. There was staff helping other customers at the "full-service" area, and I tried to get their attention. All I got in return was a head shake "no." This was especially frustrating since one of the staff members was observing other staff -- not actually working the computer to check in customers. I understand that she may not be able to leave her post to operate another post, but it seems reasonable to walk the mere 10 feet over to me to explain that I am in the right area and someone will assist me shortly. I ended up getting in line, which defeats the purpose of the kiosk, only to see a staff member show up to the drop off area. Going back, everything went fine from there."

The flight attendants spoke clearly and were attentive to the you boy, probably 6, who was sitting next to me and was traveling alone. The seats were as comfortable as it gets on a plane and then bam! Surprise, the head rest bends on either side forming a protective cocoon so that your head doesn't slide forward constantly while you doze off. THAT was my favorite part about the flight. The pilots were ahead of schedule, the flight was smooth. Overall, awesome, comfortable flight."

During the boarding, I had just gotten to the door of the plane when the flight attendants stop the long line of passengers boarding to serve everyone in first class juice or cocktails or something, when they had already been given bottles of water! Standing there tired and footsore, while everyone in first class got their second drink, kicked back in their cushy, spacious seats, when they had only been there a few minutes anyway, seemed absolutely ridiculous. What is this, a holdover from the feudal system??"

If I had known how slow the process was I would have opted to sleep in the airport so I got more than 3 hours of sleep."

Cons: "United Airlines has one job, to move people from one location to the next. I'm concerned that United thinks it's in the data transfer business or the package hauling business or some kind of "gotcha' Internet business. There were never enough people at United to help me with my problem. Those real human employees that I found were mostly overworked, over regimented and procedure focused."
Pros: "That being said, I liked that they has Moscow Mules for purchase. The gate agent was very kind & helped check my husbands bag as the overhead bin space was full. The crew was fine."
Cons: "My first beef with United is that I needed to change my flight 36 hours after purchasing it & wanted a 200.00 change fee for a 79.00 flight, it was more cost effective to purchase a new ticket to with another airline than change my ticket. Silly really."

Cons: "Seats are packed in, no wifi, arrived way early sat on tar mat no fresh air my chest was hurting from the smell of jet fumes until we finally pulled into a gate!"
Pros: "Nice crew ,on time , no extra fee for carry on and drinks. Over all comfortable. I will fly United again !!!!!"
Cons: "It was snowing in Aspen when we tried to land. We left late for whatever reason I can't remember and then a de-icing that they said would only take 10 minutes took 30. Aspen airport has a strict closure law of 11pm. We didn't get above Aspen until 11:05 then the runway wasn't cleared off so we had to circle around and attempt again. They couldn't keep up with the snow to keep the runway clear. If we would have been 15 minutes earlier and had not been delayed for numerous reasons, we would have been able to land since the storm was just starting and the people on the runway at aspen airport would have had more time to clear the runway instead of it being after their shift was over. We didn't land back in Denver until 12:15 and I didn't get to my $250 room until 1:30. Why is it that I have to pay for errors of other people? Not to mention that I missed almost a full day of work and will be docked pay for that as well (another $100) because we didn't get back into Aspen the following day until after 1:00 (also because of awaiting aircraft). I am sick of awaiting aircraft excuses as well!!! These are united's fault and travelers recieve zero compensation for their tardiness!!!"
Cons: "Waiting for 3 hrs past boarding time for crew to arrive. Waiting on plane for 11/2 for plane to b de iced. Waiting for crew to get permission to fly because they went past hrs to fly"
Cons: "Seats are are thin and uncomfortable. Flight delayed from Chicago to Allentown because of an empty chair that could not unrecline. Ended up landing 35 minutes late."
Cons: "I was charged 25.00 for luggage both ways which I wasn't told in advance.Also sat in airport a long time before being told my flight was cancelled and it was last flight.My daughter was by her self and didn't have money.She ask them could they put her in hotel and they told her no only discount.My daughter then told them she had no money and the clerk was very rude and told her well that's all they were going to do.At that point my daughter called me upset and crying because they didn't tell her prior and was rude about it.She do not fly and I had just had surgery and I could not go to her grand mother funeral with her.I had to call around to see if anyone knew someone in New Orleans to go get her for the night.My sister friend ended up picking her up 2hr later and she didn't know her but we had no choice cause her aunt had already left to go back home.It was a very upsetting situation and very stressful.I travel alot and I flew with this airlines before years ago and it was fine.Very disappointed about this whole trip."
Cons: "The fact that they kept delaying it by 30 minute intervals for four hours until eventually it was cancelled. Oh and now the new flight is delayed 30 minutes."
