Cons: "I packed a SOLID body butter that was brand new. I thought that because it was NOT a liquid but a SOLID it would be okay. Wrong! I took every precaution and even called prior to packing. I didn’t think this would be a problem. So, out it went! My SOLID deodorant was fine, though."

Then, when I got back to Athens for my return flight to LAX I found it had been canceled and had to once again purchase a new flight to get home. Also, not happy that Kayak doesn’t have a customer service number to call."

Cons: "We paid extra to have a bassinet as we were traveling with a baby. The entire row (a family) behind us was very sick, coughing, sneezing, and blowing their noses the whole flight. As we were concerned for our daughters health, we asked the flight attendants if we could lmove to the bulkhead that was open at the front of the plane. They wanted to charge us $500 EACH to move, even though the seats were open. One of the flight attendants even commented how terrible it was for our baby to have a row of sick people behind us, yet they refused to move us. Fast forward, our daughter ended up getting sick during our trip to Florence, and now my husband is sick. As such, we’ve had to miss out on things during our vacation. It would not have been difficult to move us to empty seats in the front of the plane, so we could use the bassinet we paid for. This small gesture would have made our flight and our trip much better."

Cons: "Seats are too close together and seat really doesn't recline. To close to the seat in front and can't bend over to put your head on tray to sleep. Just to cramped up and I'm a small person 5'4". Very uncomfortable for a long flight!"

I was stopped by the people in front of the plane putting away their luggage and standing in the aisle. Not enough room between the rows. Passenger in front of me most picture straight into my face"

Pros: "Professional, friendly, helpful staff, especially the Manager at Gates A17 and A18 who helped make sure I got a seat on LH011 after two other, earlier choices I had been put on were cancelled."
Cons: "Lufthansa must work on its domestic-to-international hub feeder system, which is unpredictable. E-mails were sent too late to be useful for knowing what was happening to the original LH009, then LH007 flights, both of which were ultimately cancelled, making the connection to LH400 dicey for the FRA to JFK leg of the trip. Telephone or SMS should have been used for faster contact. I had already printed boarding passes for LH009 about 20 hours before flight time and ultimately arrived at HAM two hours before flight time and thought everything was in order. It ultimately was not, and my checked baggage never made it onto the connecting flight."

Cons: "They had overbooked the flight and asked to reroute me. I asked if I would still be able to get to my destination at the same time and to make sure I would have a window seat. Everything from the moment I said yes was a terrible. They rebooked me twice on two different routes when I was in the air. Said a steward would meet me (never happened) instead I was running to catch flights on different airlines in two different airports. The entire situation was disgusting. The running was with all of my luggage. Because of the rebooking I was in the last row of 75 rows on a plane with an additional connection. Every flight had delays creating more chaos for the next flight. The only helpful airline in the bunch was Delta."

Pros: "Attention to details, big clean bathrooms, service with a smile, friendly flight attendants, overall a great experience. I think American, United and Delta and other airlines could learn a lot from this Company."
Cons: "Not much, just the USB port on my chair was not working. No biggie. Reported it and should be fixed asap."

Cons: "On the long haul flight the seats started to hurt after a few hours. The seats on the short haul flight felt more comfortable."

Cons: "This airline has little respect for its customers. In the economy/coach cabin, they squeeze the seat distances to such an extent that, when the person in front of you leans their chair back, you cannot get out of your seat at an upright angle. You have to significantly bend your body. To not loose your balance, you have to grab on to the seat in front of you and that disturbs the other passenger. If they're sleeping, they can be woken up by that. Lufthansa does not care much for its passengers. Nor do many other companies, for that matter, but I think Lufthansa is taking things further than most airlines. It is a disgrace. Their brand is not what it once was."
