Pros: "Excellent customer service by the flight attendants. Easy to drop off baggage once tagged. Great smooth flight."
Cons: "Once again we were told the wrong baggage claim carousel on board the plane. This seems to happen everytime I fly Alaska. If it is changes they need to announce it downstairs in baggage instead of people having to realize on their own. I had picked my seats online when I made my reservation and when I went to check in they were not assigned to me and I had to pick again. My original seats were not available. Doesn’t make sense to have me pick seats and then take them away. The flight was not full so that was not the issue."

Subsequently went to costumer service holding a 3 yr old in my hand to hear the supervisor state it is not our problem. The reality is it is your problem. I understand things happen but it is the job of customer service to make the customer feel better. No empathy what so ever. I am a physician that gets graded on my interaction with plp daily. I am giving her a zero. Giving a voucher does not fulfill my need for compassion. I can pay for my own Starbucks thank you."

Pros: "On the ground ..TSA said I needed a new boarding pass..3 kiosck wouldn't. Work. Friendly re sent me to Alaska desk where they printed me a new boarding pass but when I went to TSA. I had no passport. Sooooo..back to t he Alaska desk and a wonderful rep named Diane helped me hunt through all my "stuff"...then began talking to all reps helping process passengers. She never gave up. And found my passport at the desk that had made me a new boarding pass. I was so upset I couldn't think straight but she did!, many thanks to this kind lady."

The family next to me had 9 bags in the over head. There were two adults and two children 3 and 4."

Cons: "Arrived at 5:00 am for an 8:30 am flight. Not enough agents and there were a bunch of minors flying ahead of me so lines were long to pay for and check my bags. The flight was delayed slightly leaving due to a "maintenance issue." Two workers pulled up in a minivan and boarded the plane to fix it. I paid for premium plus seating which was spacious but the guy in the aisle seat had a brace on his shattered knee so getting in and out to use the bathroom was still an ordeal--should have saved myself the $50. When we arrived in Tampa their was an issue with aligning the jetway to the plane's door--we stood around for 10 minutes waiting for that to be resolved before we deplaned."

After when I was taking to the end of the jetway she wouldn’t let me take it and said she had to do it” the whole situation was handling poorly and I watched her be rude to people prior to me. Also the outlet at the gate didn’t work."

I got to Dallas I was furious complain to customer relations. I at least wanted them to let me in to the admirals club so I could be comfortable for the next four hours. They refuse that but one lady at the customer relations apartment did give me a meal voucher which made me feel a little better."

Not just over one or even ten gates but fro gate D51 to gate D1. In the Miami Airport that is at least a 1 mile walk. At the time they switched gates there was no notification that the flight was also delayed by nearly or should I say over an hour. This causing people to scramble, run and drag children to make sure they weren't late for boarding then when everyone arrives to the new gate, they flight is delayed by 30! Minutes. That alone pisses people off but then after waiting that time, it's delayed again at least another 30 minutes. Just not well managed!!!"

I had to end up paying the same for that portion of my round-trip as I would have if I'd just booked through United. $60 in checked baggage. NOT happy with Kayak more than anything."

Flight was going to be on time but then we waited a long time in small seats for a couple passengers from other flight that came in late. Some of these passengers showed up with food. So apperantly they did have time for that. Entertainment was pain to navigate and hard to avoid buttons on arm rest when using it as arm rest."

Cons: "My fiancee and I bought tickets months ago from SB to Seattle (by way of SF) with seats next to each other. The flight was cancelled the day-of. She was automatically rebooked. I was not. I called in and could not get a seat on the flight that she was rebooked to. The alternative I was offered was to fly out the next morning with a 9 hour layover in SF. I elected to go to the airport and sit on standby to get onto her flight. Her flight was scheduled to leave at 8:30. No planes arrived and no announcements were made until 9:30 (telling us that the flight would depart at 10:30. No agents were at the desk and there were at least 15 people in line. Many of them opted to go back outside of security to ask the font desk what was going on. Finally, a very angry woman came to the gate counter at 10:00 as she repeatedly told the passengers that she was supposed to get off her shift hours ago. As she began the boarding process, she told me that there was a seat on the flight. I responded by asking if she could book me on the connecting flight from SF to SeaTac. She responded frustratedly that I should have taken care of that earlier (which of course I couldn't do until I knew I had a seat on this flight). We got to SF and ran to our connecting flight (with only 9 minutes to spare). My wife paid $329 for a one-way flight from SB to Seattle (which is a LOT) expecting to leave SB at 6:15pm and arrive in Seattle at 10:30pm (by way of SF). Instead, what she got for her $329 was a very stressful experience of not knowing if I would be joining her and she got on a flight with me at 10:30 and landed in Seattle at 1:30am. We received poor Customer Service and vouchers or compensation for our inconvenience."

Pros: "Waited 9 hours while they "tried to find a crew" - then they cancelled it. Rude staff - completely disorganized. Had to wait in line for over two hours after it was cancelled to rebook for the next day."

Pros: "I loved the TV, the seats, the window view"

Pros: "Boarding was handled well. When we hit turbulence the pilot immediately made an announcement that it was storms and OK. Nice landing. We were on time."
Cons: "The cabin crew was nearly nonexistent, surly to the point of rude when any customer asked a question and more interested in chatting at the back with each other than serving customers. One drink cart (no snacks for a 3-hour flight) pass, then be prepared to keep your trash in the extremely tight space until the pilot starts the descent. Bare bones travel without the discounted price."

Pros: "If just two rows of seats could be removed it would make things so much better. I'm only 5' tall and still barely have enough room. My boyfriend is 6' tall and can't even move once he's in. Of course it's hard financially to pay $300 extra per ticket to visit family so we suffer through."

Cons: "The seating, lack of food, being late"

Pros: "The staff was very pleasant on the plane and the pilot was excellent."
Cons: "Half of the plane was empty. Though the extra seats are considered "economy plus" if the seats are not occupied, there should be last minute seat upgrades at no charge for the comfort of the passengers, instead of trying to "nickel and dime" us. The passengers that get upgraded would have more room and there would be less congestion in regular economy seating and would amplify the pleasant nature of people while traveling."
