Cons: "I sat in seat 12A- the window was so hot it was burning my arm and I was extremely hot. Not sure if it’s from the engine heat or sun but it’s probably a mechanical issue that the 737 should address. Horribly uncomfortable trip."

Pros: "Crew was fantastic. They offered to valet my bag as I was boarding when they saw that it was cumbersome for me. The stewardess put me in a great seat when I was helpful to another passenger upon boarding. Also everyone seemed to be quite attentive and helpful during the covid situation, where people are a bit unnerved. I appreciated the effort to make everyone happy."

Another hour and a half or so later, we finally took off for JFK. We missed our first connecting flight and the second connecting flight I was able to rebook."

Pros: "Plane was delayed repeatedly, then cancelled. I missed work and was originally offered a flight for twi days later. That wouldve been three days in an airport ? I had to purchase a room, taxi, and then spend the following day in the airport as that flight was repeatedly delayed. I booked a direct flight and was not rescheduled for such. Still waiting for reply from American Airlines. First time flying with this carrier and disappointed is an understatement."

I was able to change online, but didn't like that I wasn't put in those seats to begin with (only because the back row seats don't recline)."

Felt very unsafe. They had to find new tug to pull the plane out. Safety is lacking, they can not check equipment before flights"

Pros: "Small aircraft, not crowded. The single window seat on the left side of the plane allowed me to stretch my legs."

Cons: "My second (of three) flights was late. United texted me that my next gate was a “2 minute walk” from my arrival gate. Instead, it was a 15 minute walk plus a shuttle bus away. The gate didn’t change, the info was just wrong. Fortunately, my third flight was delayed about 30 minutes. But this also was not communicated in the United text until late."

Cons: "United airlines employee Mearle at the check in counter was extremely disrespectful, Rude, and arrogant towards everyone in line at the counter Trying to check in. Many customers including us waitted in the check in line for 35 minutes or more while Mearle proceeded to chat on her cell phone (personal call), and taking a break leaning the check in counter while everyone waited on her so she could assist with check in. Finally the passengers in front of us voice their concern to mearle stating that everyone is going to miss theirs flights if she didn't assist us all right away. Mearle responded by snapping back by saying "it's not my fault that united keep us understaffed and pay us enough to care " then laughed and walked away again. At this point we realized that if we did not get immediate assistance, that we would surly miss our flight. I walked in front of the line on behalf of everyone standing in line and reiterated to Mearle in a firm tone that she insisting check in the remaining 12 passengers immediately. Mearle snapped back telling me to "worry about my own self and don't tell me how to do my own job". Feeling very stressed out And worried about missing my flight went and stood back in line again. A few moments later I over heard Mearle tell the passengers ahead of us " you're too late. You've missed your flight" these passengers became very upset with Mearle telling her that she's the reason they missed the flight and Mearle laughed and said out loud to everyone else in line.. "you all missed your flight. You all should be more responsible next time and get here earlier" and then Mearle walked away never to be see again. Many of us missed our flight which caused many of us to also miss our connecting flights. We immediately called the 800 number and filed a complaint. Then we were forced to drive three hours in traffic to LAX where we caught a later flight and barely made it to our destination in time for our work event. We swore that because of Mearle and her disgusting behavior that we will never ever fly united again (and I fly a lot for my job) and since that horrible experience with Mearle two months ago, I've flown on four trips spending over $2300 dollars and every flight has been booked through American Airlines. Do to Mearle's bad attitude, disrespectful personality, and poor representation of united we will never do business with united again. We suggest united airlines remove Mearle from Having any contact with the general public as we are sure that Mearle is loosing customers for united at a very rapid pace."

Pros: "The crew onboard the United flights were very friendly and capable. Plus I downloaded the United app and was able to watch any show I could think of but Landed on Westworld, cause I can never catch-up."
Cons: "Virtually no food included on an $800 dollar 5 hr flight. I even upgraded economy elite. In the equivalent range Alaskan gives a very nice fo-meal in a box. Finally, I arrived for my flight from San Luis Obispo an hour and 45 minutes early and stood in line to check my small bag for the first 45 minutes. At which point the desk agent made the announcement she would no longer take bags. Luckily my bag was small enough to be considered a carry on so I just went to security. I don't know what people with large bags behind me did? then it takes another 45 mins to get through security at which point they see my 5 inch knife on X-ray machine. Which I packed 3 days earlier when I planned to check my bag. Lost the knife, fine, my fault, goodbye favorite pocket knife. but now I am randomly selected for explosives LOL by TSA. I get to the gate the gate agent scans a ticket for the person infront of me. I step up and the same gate agent puts her hand over the scanner and says sorry it is late!? There were 6 other people behind me and this is a 22 person plane. So I still not upset walk back out of the security area because TSA closes the area in between flights and call United. They get me on the next flight out and rescheduled my following flight only a 3 hour wait. An hour goes by and the first desk agent, they have been holding the first flight because enough people aren't onboard. SLB is a joke."

Cons: "Passengers for numerous regional flights had to wait in a crowded area before going to our gates in the basement. There was no attendant that I could see to tell us what was going on until 30 minutes or less before departure. I had never seen this arrangement before and was not pleased with it. On board, there was no snack, only a beverage, which I did not want."

Cons: "Continual delays. UAL staff did not address issue of whether folks would miss connections in ORD. Yet we were seated next to the AA counter where their staff was actively working on this issue (missed connections in ORD). Seemed like AA cared a bit more."

Cons: "I was flying from Pittsburgh to Chicago to Fairbanks. My flight from Pittsburgh was delayed. My connecting flight from Chicago to Fairbanks was in the very next gate. But as I exited my first flight, my connecting flight pulled away from the gate. I was extremely disappointed."

I was seated near the rear of the plane, and there was no food left to purchase when the flight attendant got to the back of the plane (no time to purchase during layover, because my flight into connecting city had been delayed, and I barely made my connecting flight). I was starving!!"

They first announced a 20 min delay, followed by another 30 min, then 30 more and then 30 more than then 30 more! They basically kept us at the gate for 2 1/2 hours until the found another plane. For a business like United, and flying out of their hub this is completely unacceptable. We ended up leaving at 11pm for a flight scheduled at 8. They didnt give anything in the plane to make up for it. No food, no free wifi, nothing."

Cons: "Our flight was 2 hours late, the customer service was horrid and didn't even acknowledge people who needed help at the front desk. They we're too busy talking to their coworkers. We then get on the plane and it's old, run down, and the take off and landing were the roughest I've ever encountered. Nobody was remotely professional and we landed after our rental car company closed so we had to go back to the airport the next day. NEVER FLYING UNITED AGAIN!!!"
