When our flight was delayed in Denver the agent at the check in gate worked very hard to get our flight plans changed with as little impact as possible.

We understand that delays happen but due to a delay on American Airlines we have lost our luggage and it doesn't seem likely it will be returned. We had five pieces of luggage lost during our flight from the U.S. to Spain. When we arrived in Madrid we were told that all five pieces had been located. When we went to pick them up the next day there were only four pieces at the airport. We were told the fifth suitcase would be delivered when it was located. It's ten days later and there's no sign of the luggage. It has taken multiple phone calls to get the information about the luggage correct. They assure me that they have everything correctly documented and then when I call back they haven't changed a thing. It has been a very frustrating process overall.

We had a specific situation on our flight tonight that was especially disruptive. Shortly after take-off, my fiancé who was traveling with me, felt the teenager (most likely a minor) directly behind him pushing his seat. My fiancé turned around to ask her to stop. Rather than apologizing and stopping, the teenager immediately began complaining about how my fiancé was encroaching on her space. My fiancé replied that it was well within his rights to lean his seat back. The teenager responded with further complaints. Her comments were out of line and rude. It was clear that she was not satisfied with my fiancé having his seat leaning back. My fiancé eventually put his seat back, and the teenager stopped complaining. We believed that the situation had been resolved, but apparently the teenager was not satisfied. Instead, she went to a flight attendant and lodged a complaint against my fiancé. Rather than hear our side, the flight attendant immediately asked us to move to a different seat. We were forced to move, against our will, to two separate middle seats further forward in the plane. We no longer were able to sit next to each other for the remaining five hours of the flight. And this was all because one particular teenager did not want my fiancé to put his seat back, which he is certainly allowed to do. Overall, the situation was handled poorly. We paid to sit together on a flight, but due to one other passenger's attitude, we were forced to sit in seats that we did not choose apart from one another. The flight attendant should have at least heard our side of the story and offered us an alternative. Instead, we were forced to accommodate another passenger who was in the wrong. Not to mention, throughout this entire process - which lasted about 30 minutes - I was not able to use the GoGo Inflight Internet Package I had just paid for. That was money wasted. The experience was embarrassing, disruptive, and awkward. We love Alaska Airlines, and we are usually pleased with their customer service. However, tonight, the customer service we received did not meet our needs; instead the flight attendant exacerbated the situation and we left our flight feeling frazzled, angry and disappointed.

The check-in process took 50 minutes at the counter as the staff told me that I needed a visa for China (transit) while that info was incorrect. I had to deal with online customer service while the person at the counter couldn’t help. It finally took 3 people at the counter to send me away. Once on the plane for a 14+ hour flight, I couldn’t use the bathrooms freely as they were filthy. The staff obviously didn’t maintain the bathrooms during the entire flight. The food served made me wish that I had bought take-out food for 3-meals prior to my boarding. the quantity of food was inadequate for the long flight as well. 1 extra snack would have been appreciated. I will likely book my future trans-Pacific flights with another airline.

Flight attendants were nice

First time (and hopefully last) flying Alaskan. Boarding was ok, not the most efficient but it worked. Once aboard a predicted snow storm started (in Seattle so not the first time this has happened) and we had to de-ice. This process was exceptionally long, in fact so long that we had to add fuel for the trip. These two delays conveniently “timed out” the pilots, brilliant! Total delay was over 4 hours, all to be blamed on their ineptitude. Seems like the norm for airlines these days but this was blatant mismanagement.

United Airlines has really deteriorated. Paid entertainment for an international flight is really nickle-and-diming it, especially since it was direct tv which is only available over the continental US!

First flight was delayed causing us to miss the 2nd flight and we ended sleeping on a chair at the airport waiting for a morning flight. AMERICAN AIRLINES didn't even have the decency to put us in a hotel for the night due to their delay. Then they added a 2nd lay over which was delayed for hours also. Traveling was to visit my mother who had cancer and I was sick so this made the trip even more distasteful.

We no longer were able to sit next to each other for the remaining five hours of the flight. And this was all because one particular teenager did not want my fiancé to put his seat back, which he is certainly allowed to do. Overall, the situation was handled poorly. We paid to sit together on a flight, but due to one other passenger's attitude, we were forced to sit in seats that we did not choose apart from one another. The flight attendant should have at least heard our side of the story and offered us an alternative. Instead, we were forced to accommodate another passenger who was in the wrong. Not to mention, throughout this entire process - which lasted about 30 minutes - I was not able to use the GoGo Inflight Internet Package I had just paid for. That was money wasted. The experience was embarrassing, disruptive, and awkward. We love Alaska Airlines, and we are usually pleased with their customer service. However, tonight, the customer service we received did not meet our needs; instead the flight attendant exacerbated the situation and we left our flight feeling frazzled, angry and disappointed.

We especially liked the in flight movies which you could rent on a tablet like device similar in size to an iPad. Also, we appreciate airlines that still board the plane by row starting in the rear. That is the most sensible way to board a plane. Also, I had plenty of legroom while seated.

We left Chicago close to 6 hours late and they didn't bother to put anyones luggage onboard. So we arrive close to 6 hours late and no luggage so we have to wait in line to fill out paperwork to have our luggage located/delivered along with everybody else who had checked baggage. That can not be a cost effective way to run your business

The staff was courteous and efficient. The entertainment selections were diverse. The seating was adequate for a long haul flight.

The check-in process took 50 minutes at the counter as the staff told me that I needed a visa for China (transit) while that info was incorrect. I had to deal with online customer service while the person at the counter couldn’t help. It finally took 3 people at the counter to send me away. Once on the plane for a 14+ hour flight, I couldn’t use the bathrooms freely as they were filthy. The staff obviously didn’t maintain the bathrooms during the entire flight. The food served made me wish that I had bought take-out food for 3-meals prior to my boarding. the quantity of food was inadequate for the long flight as well. 1 extra snack would have been appreciated. I will likely book my future trans-Pacific flights with another airline.

When our flight was delayed in Denver the agent at the check in gate worked very hard to get our flight plans changed with as little impact as possible.

We understand that delays happen but due to a delay on American Airlines we have lost our luggage and it doesn't seem likely it will be returned. We had five pieces of luggage lost during our flight from the U.S. to Spain. When we arrived in Madrid we were told that all five pieces had been located. When we went to pick them up the next day there were only four pieces at the airport. We were told the fifth suitcase would be delivered when it was located. It's ten days later and there's no sign of the luggage. It has taken multiple phone calls to get the information about the luggage correct. They assure me that they have everything correctly documented and then when I call back they haven't changed a thing. It has been a very frustrating process overall.

We booked american because it was a direct flight. No explanation was given for the switch. Then we almost missed our connection because we sat on the tarmak in Barcelona for an hour. Again no explanation . Very stressful and irritating.

None of the experience was pleasant

First flight was delayed causing us to miss the 2nd flight and we ended sleeping on a chair at the airport waiting for a morning flight. AMERICAN AIRLINES didn't even have the decency to put us in a hotel for the night due to their delay. Then they added a 2nd lay over which was delayed for hours also. Traveling was to visit my mother who had cancer and I was sick so this made the trip even more distasteful.

We had a specific situation on our flight tonight that was especially disruptive. Shortly after take-off, my fiancé who was traveling with me, felt the teenager (most likely a minor) directly behind him pushing his seat. My fiancé turned around to ask her to stop. Rather than apologizing and stopping, the teenager immediately began complaining about how my fiancé was encroaching on her space. My fiancé replied that it was well within his rights to lean his seat back. The teenager responded with further complaints. Her comments were out of line and rude. It was clear that she was not satisfied with my fiancé having his seat leaning back. My fiancé eventually put his seat back, and the teenager stopped complaining. We believed that the situation had been resolved, but apparently the teenager was not satisfied. Instead, she went to a flight attendant and lodged a complaint against my fiancé. Flight attendants were nice

First time (and hopefully last) flying Alaskan. Boarding was ok, not the most efficient but it worked. Once aboard a predicted snow storm started (in Seattle so not the first time this has happened) and we had to de-ice. This process was exceptionally long, in fact so long that we had to add fuel for the trip. These two delays conveniently “timed out” the pilots, brilliant! Total delay was over 4 hours, all to be blamed on their ineptitude. Seems like the norm for airlines these days but this was blatant mismanagement.
