Cons: "New York airports are always delaying landing and getting to the gate by at least 30 mins. Nothing to do with the airline I assume, but still quite frustrating to do detours and spend extra 30/40 mins in air or taxiing."

So even though I was at the airport a full hour before departure, I was not allowed to check in and I missed the flight. I had to be rerouted through Seattle and got home 8 hours later than planned. Very frustrating."

Cons: "My second (of three) flights was late. United texted me that my next gate was a “2 minute walk” from my arrival gate. Instead, it was a 15 minute walk plus a shuttle bus away. The gate didn’t change, the info was just wrong. Fortunately, my third flight was delayed about 30 minutes. But this also was not communicated in the United text until late."

SO WE WERE TOLD TO SEND THEM DIRECTLY TO OUR FINAL DESTINATION. WHEN I BOARDED THE PLANE I COUNTED 7 OVERHEAD STORAGE BINS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE TO MY AISLE WHERE I WAS SEATED WERE NOT FILLED AND THERE WERE SEVERAL SUCH BINS ON MY SIDE OF THE AISLE (I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO COUNT THEM BEFORE I SAT DOWN). I ASKED AN ATTENDANT WHY THIS WAS SO GIVEN WE WERE TOLD THE BINS WERE FILLED JUST AS WE BOARDING FROM THE DEPARTURE AREA. SHE WAS POLITE AND SAID SHE WASN'T SURE ABOUT WHO MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT IN THE TERMINAL BUT THAT IN ANY EVENT MY CARRY ON WOULD ARRIVE SAFE AND SOUND IN VANCOUVER - IT DID BUT WITH MY BOOK FOOD SNACK WHICH i HAD INTENDED TO USE WHILE ON MY WAY TO CHI. AND VAN."

Was reminded of my lowly state by being made to wait till the last second to board. Last row of plane. 2 inches of leg room. Leave it to United to figure out a way to create a class of customer so low that you envy all the other cattle. MOOOOO!"

Cons: "there was absolutely no notfication that we were flying with ANA! I understand the flight was booked with united and you guys are part of the star partnership thing or whatever but it made finding out where to check in very stressful and time consuming! Stop overbooking your flights!"

Cons: "It was the worst flight I ever had in my life, first of all our flight from phenx( arezoina) to New York beget canceled and the company put us in a very bad hot for one night,then they changed our plane to Philadelphia which our flight from there to newhampshire got had be late for more than 3 hours. You are the worst company in this world."

Cons: "If nothing else United has been consistent in their late departures and arrivals backed by absolute lies about the reason for delays. Staff says one thing then Pilot says something completely counter. Then the lack of any sort of heartfelt appology adds to the insult. Every flight was overbooked by at least 5 people. Total incompetence. Moreover, United has made profit so obviously more important than client comfort. The seats were similar to a straight back Dining room chair except with your knees in your chest. They even took away the seat back pouch as a smal comfort to place items to be replaced with an 8 inch high mesh that fits nothing larger than your cell phone. A 6 hour flight and 1 drink service with 1/2 glass of soda. Pay $7.99 only to find out that video does not work through Canada which was the majority of the flight"

Pros: "Flight was good , security and boarding was very unorganized , although I don't blame the airlines I think it more the San Diego Airport, I live there and often drive to John Wayne just to avoid the San Diego Airport Security inside and out is always disaster ."

Cons: "I had a connection flight to San Francisco and then from there to Honolulu and the flight from Portland to SF got delayed 5 times to up to 4 hours late so I would've missed my second flight from SF to HNL. They couldn't do anything about it so they put me on the next available flight, the next MORNING. So I had to go spend a night in a hotel which I had to pay for and wait for the next flight in the morning the next day. Next day the flight got delayed yet again this time little over 2 hours. So I would've missed the flight from San Francisco do Honolulu yet again. This time they managed to find a little later flight and put me on that but still had to wait at the airports for over 8 hours. Super mad about how United works... Had problems with my boss as well because I was supposed to work the next day but they rescheduled my flight for that day. Really not a pleasant experience..."

Pros: "The crew was wonderful. We accidentally left our Camera on the plane and didn't realize it until we got to our hotel. They had found it and returned it directly to our hotel. They saved our honeymoon."
Cons: "We had checked in early and selected seats together because this trip was our honeymoon. We or an alert saying our plane was changed as well as our seats and we were seated on OPPOSITE SIDES of the plane. We were then charged over $200 in order to sit next to each other. I even called United directly and they said there was nothing they could do. That's pretty inexcusable and ridiculous. If the customer service representatives are not Empowered enough to rectify such an egregious inconvenience, then why do they exist?"

Cons: "Customs was ridiculous no one was able to move me forward so I could catch my flight even though I had more than an hour to make the flight there were lines stretching down hallways, machines to expite process not working.I was given an orange to expedite security in hopes of catching my flight but even the folks from United laugh that it didn't really do anything I missed my flight by mere minutes and had to stay in a hotel overnight and catch the Morning flight.I will never fly United again"

I arrived at the airport two hours before my boarding time and the ground crew still somehow managed to not get my bag on the plane. They did get it on the next flight but now it's stuck in Chicago. I called the baggage claim hotline number I was provided and they could not give me an estimate of when or where my bag will be. They told me to call tomorrow and hung up on me! So now I am on a two week vacation without luggage. Absolutely terrible service."
