I elected to pay for the upgrades and found very little difference
The new seating arrangement is so over priced for what you get.
Snacks are always pretzels. Why can't you also offer peanuts ?
Flight was hours late, unable to sit next to spouse, I have had so much better experiences. Substantially better, only saving grace was that it was a short flight.
An entire day of delays. Cost lots of money. Meals and a hotel.
Only downside was the legroom and seat width, which is always a problem unless I spend more for a premium seat.

Delta flights recently are always delayed AND at jfk tney get the gates further away (need To walk 20’ to get to them/all the way at the end of the terminal). Not sure whats happening but price doesnt match experience!
Delta continues to set the benchmark for traveler-friendly service with minimal disruption and clear communication within the mainland US (coast to coast). I am consistently pleased to be a Delta customer, and this experience once again met my expectations. There was a brief delay departing from MIA due to a technical issue that required the aircraft to return to the gate. However, the situation was handled professionally and transparently. Fortunately, my planned layover allowed ample buffer time, so the adjustment caused no stress. Overall, another smooth and reassuring experience.
Totally worth the miles to upgrade to Delta Comfort. Plenty of legroom.
This was my first time flying Delta ever and I had a great experience!
Only freetext wifi was available in flight; browsing WiFi required payment. Since the seats had no in flight entertainment, Delta should revisit this policy on this longer flight.
The flight was great as well as the airline staff
Comfort seating was on the tight side. Maybe it was a smaller plane(?)
Excellent flight and got us around tough weather. Only issue was seat TV did not work and crew tried to reboot.
Connection through Atlanta was difficult. Mechanical issue on plane caused a two hour delay. New gate was a mile away.
The flight attendants and the service is getting worse by the day.
They are rarely on time! Very hard to plan your travels when flights or connections keep getting delayed.
Forced to check bags. Crew uninterested in collecting trash. Unclean seats.
Mediocre would be best description. Food bland. Seat biz class uncomfortable to sleep. Crew never dimmed lights completely in an overnight flight to Europe. Would avoid AA if possible.
I am an AA flyer for a very long time... AA has yet to disappoint.
Arriving plane went to wrong gate. Flight Attendant was late. Was in no Hurry when he arrived. Flight was fine. Plane had to wait 20 minutes to get assigned a gate due to designated gate tied up. barely connected.. Boarded extremely late on final leg of trip.
See prior comment about how Kayak mishandled my reservation and delayed my arrival by 6 hours.
Generally good. Flight left on time and the seats are comfortable. Plenty of space in front if you in you choose a comfort plus seat, completely worth spending the extra money given the amount of hours the flight lasts. The food tastes good but I would say it’s a the amount is too little. The crew was friendly and efficient. There was a some turbulence at different points into the flight. American Airlines has good deals to NZ if you book with plenty of time before you plan on going.
I am very appreciative of the help provided to me by Dennis and Whitney. I had lost my phone at EWR airport and they were very kind in assisting me. This included advice on how to file a report and also helping me connect with family. The pilot was also great about keeping passengers updated on the flight progress with regular communications over the system.
The screens were inoperable for movies and such, but everything else was just fine
