I had to go out and spend money on toiletries,night wear and my medicine because of not having my luggage. Just totally disgusted by the overall experience and wouldn't wish it on anyone."

I requested for change of seats since my children are minors and their response was 'change by yourself after you board'. After complaining several times and emphasizing that it is against the law to have minor sit by themselves, they reluctantly allocated new seats with "this guy is a pain in the ass" look. I never had experienced anything like this before!"

Cons: "Paid $330.00 +/- for a one way ticket. Some how i messed up on the date and had it for 8/3/18 instead of 8/2/18. Had to pay an additional $500 + for the change. I understand that the fault didn't lie with AA, however, the rate for changing the ticket borders on the ridiculous. I have to travel quite a bit as of late for work, I am doing all i can to Avoid using American. There were others on the flight that paid for first class that didn't pay as much as me and i was stuck in boarding group 6. It really feels as though American is only in it for the dollars, not the customer service."

They sat there and watched me for an hour not telling me I could not use cash to check in my luggage at the gate after they told me it was double the amount to check it in at the gate. The sight u use on the boarding pass u download on the phone is not clear. It says baggage fee +$25.00. I thought it was 25.00 till the women in Phoenix showed me the + sign. She said “it is confusing”. I did not buy the ticket because it was for an unexpected funeral of my sister. My other sister did so I didn’t see all the stuff from Travelocity. After telling me it would be $50.00 the check in male and female at the gate saw me sitting there for an hour and never told me I couldn’t pay cash. By the time it was boarding time if a nice woman did not offer to use her credit card and I have her the $50 cash I would have missed my flight. The manager at the gate in Portland even told me I would miss my flight. The two check in staff at the gate said “well we didn’t know you only had cash” and they weren’t even concerned that I was going to miss my flight. It would of been nice of them to tell me this when I sat there for an hour after they told me They we’re doubling the price. I would of had time to go back through security, only pay $25.00 and the other nice passenger would have not had to use her credit card. Very rude and poor service especially after a sad occasion of burying your sister!"

I finally tore a page out of the AA magazine and wedged it against the screen so I could actually sleep without it constantly blinking on and disturbing me. Next time, I'm going to smash the screen. Or use the existing and publicly available research to improve boarding mechanisms... but that would mean you lose an opportunity to squeeze extra cash out of people for 'priority boarding'. Cons: "I was on the last row in a window seat. Throughout the entire flight tiny ice pellets kept flying out of the vent system above my head. When I mentioned it to the flight attendant, she just shrugged and said "it's just the air conditioner ", like tough luck. That was the only time I saw the attendant. No drinks, no snacks. I guess she didn't have time for the last 4 rows of seats, although the flight was 1 1/2 hours long."

Cons: "Kiosks service was confusing. I paid for my baggage and received my boarding pass. However, I was supposed to stay at my kiosk until an agent came. There were 10 kiosks with only 2 agents helping people and no screen notification or sign asking customers to wait. In addition, TSA pre-check is not available at this airport."
Cons: "Delays, delays, delays. Total of 4 hours delayed."
Pros: "The young ladies who booked hotel after flight was cancelled and worked to get ne on a different flight closer to my interview was great."
Cons: "3-4 delays. Boarded the flight and then told we did not make the cut off time and pilot could not legally fly!!!!!! The stewards was NOT nice at all. The way she scolded a man for changing seats was embarrassing. I was utterly disgusted. Tgeybdud not explain the sense of urgency needed when boarding. Passengers would have moved faster."

Cons: "I was sitting in the boarding area and it was a quiet space, but I didn't hear the boarding announcement. I did get up when I saw that others were but meanwhile still didn't hear continuing announcements. Thank goodness for the excellent boarding sign which noted what zone was boarding."

Cons: "I was one of the last to broad the aircraft and found that my seat was given to another customer. I was asked by the flight attendant if I could seat all the way in the back by the restrooms. I was not happy with this at all but could live with it. Once we landed I waited on my bags at baggage claim. Found that my luggage had been damaged."

Cons: "PHX is a large airport, and my emailed ticket said Brussles Airlines, Terminal 4. First off, Brussles Airlines is not a carrier at PHX, and secondly no one knew that United was their partner. There was no information provided to me to go to United, which was in Terminal 2. After making a phone call to Brussles Airlines, I ended up getting to the check in gate ten minutes after boarding started. It was a lovely rest of the trip after that though! But please include partner information im the email next time!"
