Pros: "The flight crew went the extra mile to give good service. There were plenty of meals and snacks throughout the trip."
Cons: "The bathrooms are cramped, they are clean however. Seats are also very close together, others must get out if you are in a middle or window seat."
Pros: "Everything, we were on time and everything was perfect."
Cons: "Food is tasteless and it is too crapped. No leg room on planes"
Pros: "Comfortable aisle seat"
Cons: "Better first class deals"
Pros: "The entertainment selection was great. There were a lot of movies available."
Cons: "There was only one working bathroom for coach. I think they said there were 3 working toilets total on the whole plane. I usually like airplane food, but this time it wasn't good. The exit row seats that we "upgraded" to were incredibly narrow, and there's nowhere close to stow your things. Then someone was in our seats when we boarded, and they took all our overhead bin space, so we were left with nothing for our flight. I would Not recommend paying extra for the exit row seats."
Pros: "I like that we made it safely."
Cons: "The crew seemed to not like their job and were very short with customers."
Cons: "For some reason we were forced to check our luggage (standard curry-ons) however it would completely fit to ovehead bins. Also waiting area were completely cut-off from Duty-Free shops - as soon as you passed security - no access to shopping area."
Pros: "The crew were helpful and professional."
Cons: "The options for movies and music for the inflight entertainment were not that good. The AirCanada app for mobile devices was not as user-friendly as I expected it to be."
Pros: "Unfortunately, my first flight was delayed (It happens!) so I missed my connecting flight from TO to Ottawa but the lady at customer service (I wish I got her name) was so good and got me on a flight leaving within the hour. The flight attendant on that flight was so pleasant and accommodating, I'm almost happy to have missed the original flight! Two huge thumbs up for Air Canada - you made my day!"
Pros: "The seating on the airbus 319 in main cabin is very cramped. Prefer Westjet 737. Will use them in future."
Cons: "Even as a member and my status within the Aeroplan program (which I am allowed to have up to 3 bags checked free of charge) I was charged."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "Not comfortable at all, seats are too crowded, and cabin was way too hot!! Some ppl had to undress their babies..."
Pros: "Fantastic service. I will use Air Canada again."
Cons: "The delay was unforeseen but acceptable."
Cons: "Not aconfortable plane"
Pros: "Good flight once we got on board."
Cons: "Plane was about an hour late taking off, seems the maintenance guy lives 45 minutes from the airport and we all had to wait on him to get there to look at a paint chip on the nose, which took about a minute. They might want to have someone on hand."
Cons: "Flight left late"
Cons: "It's hard to believe, but Air Canada did not offer wifi on our international - 9 hour - flight. I had intended to work and my daughter intended to do her homework and entertain herself online. They may have advertised no wifi, but I missed it. Additionally, our outbound and inbound planes were grounded for more than 30 minutes due to mechanical issues. It might be time for Air Canada to upgrade its international fleet!"
Pros: "Aircraft was originally booked solid, but a last minute change of aircraft switched us to a larger aircraft so everyone could spread out and get a little more room. Crew was energetic, enthusiastic and pleasant. Overall the flight was above average, mainly due to the friendliness of the crew."
Cons: "Leg room in economy is always an issue (I'm 6'4"). Thankfully this flight was not booked solid and there was no one sitting in that dread middle seat. The food was Mediocre at best. We ordered a pizza for lunch, the toppings apparently shifted in flight and the cheese and pepperoni slid off the crust and was sitting on one side of the box with the crust on the other... (Advice - Stick with sandwiches, crackers and cheese, etc. instead of the hot meals on Air Canada)."
Pros: "Seats are confortable, meals good and the crew are very nice"
Pros: "Reliable. Easy to board. On time!"
Pros: "the crew members were friendly"
Cons: "that you don't give any snacks for price of ticket. at least peanuts or pretzels. that's ridiculous. southwest reigns."
Pros: "Was moved to a nonstop Flight when my original two segment flight was delayed!! Arrived and hour before scheduled."
Cons: "There was no complimentary checked luggage. Not impressed because usually this is only done by the cheap budget airlines not a national airline."
Pros: "I liked all the assistant they gave to make a person comfortable."
Cons: "That we had no choice for the seat on the plane"
Pros: "Absolutely nothing"
Cons: "A 12 hour delay is not okay. The hotel comp was nice but they split my group of 5 into different hotels. The breakfast voucher did not work. The dinner voucher barely covered the cost at the designated restaurant. Customer service was extremely unaccomadating."
Pros: "Seat number was displayed on the monitor of the sheet."
Cons: "Japanese movies, TV was small."
Cons: "Someone else was sitting in our seats and when asked they said they had lost their boarding pass and hence don't know their seat number. I called the flight attendant for help and he checked our boarding passes and asked us to wait at the back of the plane. He stood there for another 10-15 minutes and we were not helped. Finally, another flight crew member came down to the back and asked us to sit in a row almost to the back with barely any legroom. I am 6'2" and was cramped into the seat. It was horrible!!"
Pros: "SAME AS ABOVE."
Pros: "Loved the leg room. Flight was on time and got our luggages on time, flight attendants were very nice and helpful! overall flight was very comfortable. will fly with Air Canada in the future again :)"
Pros: "Boarding was pretty quick, efficient, on time"
Cons: "Seats had least legroom of any plane I can remember. I'm not that tall and my knees were in the seat pocket the whole 5 hr flight. Also, the seats could stand to be a lot cushier. I felt like I was sitting on a piece of cardboard after the first 2 hours."
Cons: "No free entertainment, no meals, or snacks"
Pros: "Bags were checked all the way through, Canada to US and I didn't have to recheck them before connection into US."
Cons: "That they make you take your headphones off during takeoff and landing - ear buds only makes no sense."
Pros: "Crew Only."
Cons: "AC website states for US and Canada allow 120 mins. We arrived to the airport 130 mins inadvance. We had no checkin bags but we almost missed our flight. (Many people did miss our flight). You need to allow at least 2 -3 hrs for US security checks. Because we almost missed our flight, we didn't have time to purchase food preboarding and the selection in the plane was very limited. My partner is 6'1 and the seat was extremely uncomfortable for him and it was not in our budget to upgrade. There was no free entertainment in the plane. You needed to rent a tableT!"
Cons: "Did not appreciate not having a movie screen. Renting an iPad for such an expensive flight is not good business."
Pros: "Excellent crew and comfortable cabin."
Cons: "I have no criticisms to offer."
Pros: "The person we sat next to. And the great flying of the pilots."
Cons: "I am handicapped. Requested a wheel chair from the curb . Upon arrival, no wheel chair. we waited and waited. Then my friend went and got a wheel chair for me. we then joined our two friends, who also had wheelchairs. however, they had first class and was taken immediately to the first class lounge. I was waiting forever behind the check-in desk in Vancouver. I then put my bags on my chair and used the chair like a walker! Still no help. When I asked for help I was told that I was early and I could wait. Not the right answer. I was told to be at the airport 2 1/2 hrs. early which I was. Until I got to the woman at the boarding desk at E84, I was treated terribly. Since we travel with our friends we had hoped to at least see them. No way. Air Canada mad sure of that. also Not a peanut unless we spent money!!!"
Pros: "Friendly crew and nice experience overall, entertainment top notch"
Cons: "Could not buy food with my debit card.....was hungry"
Pros: "I liked that the head rests bent so I could rest my head on something"
Cons: "There is not a lot of legroom back in the economy section - I'm 5'7" and I kept hitting my knees on the back of the seat in front of me, so if I was any taller that would have been very uncomfortable."
Pros: "Direct, on time, good on-board service, no hassle, excellent value for money"
Pros: "The comfort of a Dash 8 was surprising. The seats have a suitable amount of leg room which I'm actually scared to mention so they don't add an extra seat to each row to take it away. Not too much, not too small, just right for a 6 foot man to not have his knees pressed against the seat in front for the whole ride"
Cons: "Where to start? Dash 8's shake, rattle and roll for the whole trip. Felt like we could fall out of the sky at any time. Staff don't care. Split our group after rescheduling due to aircraft issues despite seats available on both connectors. Said to wait until next stop to fix. Next stop said nothing they can do since we checked a bag. Put 2 hours between arrivals just because they can. Blamed it on the computer. Did provide a $10 meal voucher. Good to know Air Canada values my total trip delay time at $2/hr"
Pros: "Left on time, arrived on time, staff were organized and efficient, luggage came out fast"
