My flight was delayed 12 hours overnight due to "weather" and since it was reportedly because of uncontrollable weather delta didn't have to do anything for me so I slept in the JFK airport overnight, they wouldn't even give a $59 pass to their sky miles club for the afternoon. It felt like an easy excuse so they wouldn't have to do anything since there were other airlines still flying out of JFK and to go CLE before my rescheduled flight which makes me believe it wasn't all weather. Since the flight was delayed 12 hours instead of being cancelled they wouldn't let me switch to a different airline either. Then, in the morning when it was rescheduled to it was again delayed because they first couldn't find a captain and then couldn't find a fort mate. We finally took off and arrived in Cleveland only to wait another 30 minutes for a gate and a ground crew that they couldn't find. I will never fly delta again."

The rest of the flight was quiet, uneventful, and pleasant in part due to their good nature. I cannot have gluten or soy, and I was brought a complimentary bag of potato chips that were gluten free - the one and only time this has happened! I hope to fly with this crew again someday."

I waited in line for 2 hours to get on another flight home and the attendant first suggested to fly me to Charlotte then Cleveland where I would arrive a day late after I'd been traveling with my elderly parents for 24 hours. Additionally, once we changed flights and had to go to Newark, it took an hour to print (yes, print) our new itineraries for United and then when the cab should have arrived immediately, we waited 45 minutes. I was displeased."

The bag check process was trouble at both legs. They have lower weight limits than the major carriers and that really should be highlighted better when you book with Allegiant. Also, bag checkin for the flight I was on started at 7:45am. There were only 2 people at the checkin counter and one of them was busy doing something and ignoring the customers. So that was a little annoying."

Cons: "Rental car I paid for on Allegiant website didn't include $50 in airport and sales taxes making it look like the Allegiant rentals were about the same as renting directly from rental car companies. Problem is that Allegiant didn't include taxes in the quote or amount I paid online. Surprise when I got to my destination and was told it would be $50 more. Alamo agent said I wasn't the first person to have that problem. Then on return my bag was damaged and was told I could place a claim at the ticket counter. It would have been helpful to have an agent there or a way to contact an agent. No such luck. After bag charges, poor service and hidden fees Allegiant isn't really a great deal."

Cons: "We were in Cleveland and our flight got cancelled. We confirmed a flight out of Canton. Drove the hour only to find that flight to be cancelled also. Drive from Canton to Chicago and arrived at about 2 in the morning. We had tried to change our flight to leave two days earlier. The fee for changing flights was more than the tickets were initially but when you cancel it its tough break for us."

Cons: "Delayed for 4 hours."

Pros: "I made it alive"

Pros: "The price was great, you accomodated my service dog and everything was on time and smooth. All in all, great experience. And i have passed out from fear of flying before, so this says something!!"
Cons: "It took a while to board and the crew on my first flight was not informed of my service animal. They wanted her to go in her bag but they left me alone after i explained and there was no issue on the return flight. I also think a complimentary snack on a 5hr flight is a good idea and can go a log way..."

Pros: "The flight crew let us know we should anticipate turbulence."
Cons: "No entertainment, no allergy friendly snacks, no help from crew with child kicking me while the mother slept"

Pros: "Crew nice and friendly."
Cons: "Free in-flight entertainment should be offered on all flights of 2+ hours through the United app. Had a family with young kids next to me who would have benefited from it (I saw the father trying to connect to it through the app), and overall it would make the flight a much more pleasant experience. After boarding a full hour later than what was originally said, it would have been nice to kick back with a movie for the flight."

Pros: "It wasn't over crowded."
Cons: "When arriving to the airport it was a bit confusing first finding where to get our connecting flight, that may have been an airport problem. But once we got to the right gate our plane was cancel or re-gated/scheduled three times. We had to walk all over the airport with less and less time to spare to make our flight out. When asking for direction or where to go we could never get a straight answer, it seem as if no one knew where to send us. I felt if I was being herded and hustled on getting a flight home, I had no choice in the matter of getting my flight out. If it wasn't for another passenger flying on the same plane we may have missed our flight all together because she was getting alerts on her phone for changes or updates. Once on the flight the air-condition was linking on one of our seat and we were first told to put a blanket over our head until take off, then we saw some empty seats so we asked to move. Once arriving at Cleveland airport we only discover our luggage had not arrived yet, not only did it not arrive we were told it had not yet left London Hethrow Airport and we would maybe get it in 24 hours. This was a problem because some of our personals we needed were in that luggage and we just had to make due and wait and see. We got our luggage the next day only for me to notice my lock was not on my luggage I do not know if this was taken off or I mistakenly left it off but I really do not think I did but I will check with the hotel to see if I left it there. I have always liked United but this really made me think on who to plan my next trip with later this year. And certainly will do my best to avoid coming through New Jersey. :("

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Flight was delayed over six hours. No explanation was given as to why and the flight was supposed to arrive at 6:45 and we got in at 12:30. Poor service at the gate and then we got on the plane and sat on the Tarmac for an hour with no explanation again. The air wasn't on and not drinks or snacks were offered for our wait time. a disappointing way to end an otherwise great weekend away."

Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "First the flight was delayed more than 1.5 hrs and then I get a text that my suitcase was coming in the next flight which there was none, to then find out that my suitcase was there after my ride was returning to then come back to pick me up. Very unorganized."

Cons: "They asked us to line up approx. 1 hour before the plane was ready for boarding. Everyone stood around and got frustrated because no information was communicated to the passengers. No one knew where the plane was or when we would board."

Pros: "Delays handled with curtesy and information."

Cons: "My bag is lost from Chicago to Cleveland. 5 bags needed retagged in Chicago....4 of 5 made it to Cleveland."

Pros: "The crew were excellent. They made up for the hassle of changing terminals at the last minute."
Cons: "When all of the passengers and crew are at the listed gate well before boarding and the gate is changed to a different terminal it adds a lot of stress to the situation. To the crews credit they did not let it effect their professional attitude. I was highly impressed by the employees of the airline to keep things on time and positive. Overall that made the difference between being a bad experience and becoming one of the best flight experiences I have had in years. This flight crew should be considered an example of how to treat customers well."

Pros: "nothing"
Cons: "Delayed in Sacramento due to weather which is understandable. However, my connecting flight in San Francisco left 8 minutes early causing me to miss the flight. It was the last flight out for the night.... Had to sleep at the airport for 5 hours until another flight in the morning. My flight in the morning caused me to have a middle seat, which was very uncomfortable for the next 5 hours."

Pros: "The price was right and the flight was direct"
Cons: "Overhead is always a huge hassle. Airlines should just stop offering overhead storage to make embarkation/disembarkation much faster."

Cons: "Boarding was chaotic...front to back??? WHY when opposite works so well!!"

Pros: "I did not use food or entertainment. No answer avail for not used Crew were great. All crews were great. Helped a lot of people. For all four segments."

Cons: "It was a small plane, minimal carry on capacity, seats were uncomfortable, and the ride was very bumpy."

Pros: "Nice leg room flight crew was very nice and attentive"
Cons: "Gate personnel very rude and unwilling to try to help. Our tickets were supposed to be together but they ended up spaced apart. Gate crew would not work with us to sit together even though there were seats that had opened up together from volunteers getting bumped from the flight."

Pros: "that i finally got on the flight and we arrived safely"
Cons: "when i got to the airport I was told i did not have a seat and to sit down. i think if you purchase a seat you should have one when you arrive. due to people willing to forfeit their seats I was finally allowed to board the plane but it was after the departure time. I know people can have a bad day and dealing with the public can be challenging but I feel that I could have been treated a little nicer and not demeaning."

Pros: "It was a short flight. The desk attendant in Washington was most accommodating. I always appreciate a smooth landing."

Cons: "From Savannah to DC was fine, such a short trip, no food and quick to pour and take your cups. Always nice staff. Coming back, we were delayed for 5 hours until finally informed it was canceled. They said "crew issues" over the loud speaker and then later said "weather" (because weather you don't have to refund for. I understand delays but the counter attendants were wither not informed or not providing information. It was so important for me to be back for Monday morning I would have rented a car to drive the 10 hours. It would have been nice if they had given some inclining that it was going to be canceled instead of having us wait for a delay. I had to be sneaked on to a flight the next morning that a co-worker was told was full, then I sat next to an empty seat. I wasn't offered anything in the ways of a hotel or car, leaving the airport at 11p and having to return at 6a. I understand delays, just didn't think this was handled the best for the amount of money I paid. Funny enough I tried to move te flight two weeks earlier and they said yea no problem, for $300, almost as much as the flight. Ridiculous."

Cons: "The reading light was so weak that it was impossible to read."

Pros: "The captain, crew and gate personnel were very friendly and helpful, despite what I think had been a long day for all of them too. I appreciated their efforts to provide drinks for everyone despite the crazy short flight."
Cons: "I was rather annoyed that the inflight video monitors played commercials for the entirety of the flight (almost no one elected to pay $8 for TV on what was supposed to be about a one hour trip). The cabin was obnoxiously bright as a result, and it was difficult to avoid being distracted and irritated by the flickering. United should have those screens turned off unless users pay for them-- it would save valuable energy too, wouldn't it? I was also frustrated that we were delayed a number of times because of mechanical difficulties, but I'm grateful that we took off knowing everything worked. Between the late in-bound crew and the mehanical hold ups, we could have all taken the bus and arrived sooner."

Cons: "There was some problem with the inbound aircraft, so we got delayed 4hrs. I should have been there when we took off! The flight was oversold & packed. Theres a surcharge for everything, including TV! But they announced that because of the delay, they would turn them on for everyone. Except they intermittently worked for half od the plane. The wifi was also spotty. Given the poor state of that equptment, I guess I should be happy we got to our destination at all."

Pros: "Generally, I've been satisfied with United flights, but this one tried anyone's patience."

Cons: "The plane was too small I was claosterphoic and there was a guy coughing on me the entire flight."

Cons: "That both legs of my flight were cancelled for "mechanical" reasons. I was rebooked on Delta which was a very friendly, accommodating experience, including having my bags come through on a very tight connection."
