  • When flying from Seattle to Auckland, you’ll definitely have a layover or two since no nonstop flights cover this route. Your layover destination (s) will be influenced by the airline you opt to travel with. If you board a one-stop Air New Zealand flight, you’ll layover at Vancouver (YVR). In contrast, if you board a two-stop Qantas Airways flight, you’ll layover at San Francisco (SFO) and Sydney (SYD).
  • Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) features one main terminal split into six concourses – A, B, C, D, North Satellite, and South Satellite. The concourse you’ll be served at will be influenced by the airline you travel with. If you travel with Air Canada or United Airlines, you’ll depart from Concourse A. On the contrary, if you opt to journey with Emirates or Qatar Airways, you’ll depart from the South Satellite.
  • Qatar Airways is the airline you should travel with if you’re eco-conscious. This is because, time and again, this airline has showcased its commitment to safeguarding the environment. To minimize its carbon footprint, this airline operates a fleet of young and fuel-efficient planes. It has partnered with IATA and Climate Care to launch a voluntary offset program for its clients, invested heavily in sustainable aviation fuel research, and reduced wastage from its flight cabins.
  • Your carry-on baggage allowance will depend on your fare when traveling with Air New Zealand. If you hold an Economy fare, you get one carry-on bag plus one small personal item, while if you hold a Premium Economy or Business Premier fare, you can bring on two bags plus one small item. To be allowed onboard, your carry-on bag’s dimensions should not exceed 46.5 inches. Your carry-on can weigh up to 15 lbs if you hold an Economy fare ticket and 30 lbs if you hold a Premium Economy or Business Premier fare.
  • If you want to travel to SEA using public transport, the best way is via Sound Transit’s Link Light Rail, which connects the airport and downtown Seattle. Besides being the least expensive means of getting to the airport, this option is not subject to Seattle’s traffic conditions. On Mondays to Saturdays, this service operates from 5:00 am to 1:00 am. There is nothing critical to complain about but I would say the snacks are pretty bad Airline staff could be aggressive the way they move through the aisles and the plane I also got hustled for a small wallet size men bag and force the consolidated with my carry on item we're talking about a wallet size bag.

Departed on time and had an efficient boarding process. The inflight wifi was not working on one of the flights.

How can I review what was denied to me. Instead of offering to let me pay for the ticket I got booted of my flight with no way home and no choice but to purchase another ticket for 12 hours later. Filing a complaint with the DOT

From Las Vegas to Boise all went well. However, our flight was delayed in Boise and I missed my connecting flight from Seattle to Pasco. Moreover, the last flight to Pasco was full and I was booked on the 11:30 flight Sunday and given a hotel accommodation. However, I was scheduled to deliver the Sunday morning service at my church and needed to arrive no later than 10:00. Therefore, I booked a Delta flight scheduled to arrive in Pasco at 23:09. My piece of luggage checked in Las Vegas arrived in Pasco earlier today. I waited at the airport for over an hour last night to speak with an Alaska agent to no avail. I went back after church this morning in search of my piece of luggage and it could not be located. After waiting for 40 minutes to speak to the agent authorized to take my claim, he announced that he was closing the counter to assist on the flight line but not before providing me with a telephone number that would help me with filing my claim. Before I was able to make the call (due to other factors) I received a call from Alaska agent informing me that my luggage had just arrived and I am now waiting for it to be delivered. I deliberately took the more complicated route home to ensure that I would be home in plenty of time to prepare for myself for the Sunday service and accommodate my relatives’ needs. I believe the airport is undermanned given the number of flights coming in and going out. It was fiasco last night with three flights waiting for luggage and another flight landing within minutes. Today’s problems stemmed from a lack of cross training and a serious amount of cargo/baggage going out and too few people scheduled to cover.

The cabin crew was absolutely wonderful, the service was great and it was just a good flight overall.

I like them since I live in Alaska and I don't have much choice

The flight attendants were nice, but the cabin and seats were uncomfortable.

Food was terrible, noisy plane & would never pay to fly first class again. Seats in regular price are too small, no leg room & center aisle much too, too small. Seats in 1st class larger but not comfortable.

Overall, once we took off, our flight was good. Flight departure was significantly delayed due to mechanical issues. Upon arrival, it took wayyy too long to retrieve checked bags.

The ticket I purchased through Kayak did not show up in my Alaska Airlines app, and neither of the codes given to me worked for online check in. I've never had to show up to the airport at 6am wondering if I've been scammed. Cheap flight fare or whatever does not play well with airlines and I will be wary of using Kayak in the future.

Very quick flight so no time for refreshments. We took off. Then landed. The end. Seats were too tight. Very cramped Grateful for the short flight cos moving around wasn’t possible

I was not even on that flight and did not even book a ticket. Kayak did a phenomenal job

The disembarking steps in Wellington were precarious and I felt quite insecure. There was no one on the tarmac to greet us and help. The embarking ramp in Blenheim was much more satisfactory. The rest of the flight was fine.

Entertainment screen froze and had to be reset. Noticed it happened to other passengers as well.

My flying experience was not great. The temperature was ridiculously low. I had a sweater and a big jacket and even then. Since my ticket was an economy ticket, I suppose I didn’t deserve a blanket as they were only available for business. The result, o got a cold I have not been able to shake off in 6 days which has absolutely ruined my stay in Japan as I hasn’t had the chance to leave my hotel room. Everything else that was good, had overshadowed by this. BE A LITTLE MORE HUMAN

The food was not as good as Air New Zealand. The veg pasta was pass-able but the veg cibotta sandwich was dry, hard and not up to par. The coach staff were attentive and accommodating.

Air conditioning was turned to the wrong setting. Way too hot. The entertainment system kept resetting and didn’t work half the flight. Said something to the crew. They didn’t do anything to help. Plane had a mechanical problem that resulted in 2.5 hour delay. Boarded the plane, had to disembark and get back on.

Good and appreciate the effort Air Zealand puts into using more environmentally friendly food containers and utensils. yay! One of the better airlines for this for sure. Still some bad stuff, but at least Air NZ is trying. :) Also really enjoyed the bluetooth option for personal headsets. :)

I was trying to get confirmation on if my luggage was going to be moved to the earlier flight (I requested standby to get home earlier) and was unable to get help from those working at the counter. The request to be moved to an earlier flight was handled smoothly through the app and appreciate the ease of the request.

Kayak did not propagate my United miles account and I had to manually get credit.

The flight was comfortable and uneventful, which is what I desire

The service from the flight attendants were of supreme quality. They greeted and treated everyone with a wide smile. This is totally absent nowadays. Kudos to them!!!!

Excellent flight and got us around tough weather. Only issue was seat TV did not work and crew tried to reboot.

Very large passenger too space from my own seat. Arm board couldn’t be lowered because of his size. It wads very uncomfortable trip, as the flight was full couldn’t move anywhere having back pain because of the position in which I was the entire flight.

was sitting in the jet bridge for 10 minutes in -20 degree weather waiting for my bag

Outdated equipment in disrepair, wifi inoperable. Broken seats, taped air vents, generally poor condition, the 717 showed its age and lack of upkeep.

My flight out of Baton Rouge to Atlanta was delayed by a half hour. This got us into Atlanta airport 30 minutes late. I ran through the airport to get to my connecting flight. As I approached the boarding gate, I saw the boarding door was still open and a passenger was being checked in. But when I got to the gate, the boarding agent told me they had already given away my seat and there were no empty seats on that flight. So I had to take a later flight. That has never happened to me before. Very frustrating.

Connection through Atlanta was difficult. Mechanical issue on plane caused a two hour delay. New gate was a mile away.

No WiFi. Comfort plus should have alcohol provided, crew only offered water or tea. Who the heck wants tea?

The flight was delayed and oversold. I volunteered to give up my seat for compensation. Thinking I could get a good night's sleep instead of arriving home at 2 am. It took over an hour to get the new reservation confirmed, three different gate attendants, and two red coats. It took even longer to confirm the overnight hotel, and when I arrived, the line was 45 minutes long, with two people checking in, and at least 15 people slowly, very slowly—no food except frozen convenience food, no coupon for food from airlines. Slept, headed back to the airport, and that flight had an equipment change and a gate change just as they were about to board. It took an additional hour to board as they cleaned the plane from storage.

Seated dude next to me even though lots of empty rows. But main thing was we sat on the tarmac after landing for 30 minutes because of, in the words of the dude who sat next to me, “operational incompetence”. We got changing directions about where to pick up gate checked bags. Pilot and flight attendant were awesome though.

The food was terrible this time. Otherwise pleasant, quiet, on-time.

It was a pretty standard flight... until the almost hour and a half spent on the taxi way. I get that the weather has been poor but the delay had nothing to do with the weather and more to do with a plane with several issues tying up the gate. I get that that happens from time to time but this has been EVERY flight I've been on for the past 5 years and I fly 3 to 5 times a year. This isn't just United... it's American, it's Delta. It's an issue with the entire industry. I work for UPS and packages on a cargo plane get better service than people do these days. Anymore I HATE flying.

Flight arrived 30 min early and bag was waiting at the baggage pickup. United Club HNL was one of the nicest in the system

Unfortunately weather delayed our flight waiting for our plane to arrive and due to a little snow time was needed to deice the plane so departure was very delayed and I missed the connecting flight

Very good. Because of the delays with my previous flight, I missed my connection, but I was able to book another flight through the United app easily.

I wish there were outlets to charge my iPhone. The crew was great; we had a female pilot who was great with explaining what was happening and delays,

The flight crew where really good. Better then the crew from BNE to SFO

Food should be changed in menu Many muslims travels in this airlime they need to add one Halal meal

Delayed, toilets did not flush, pilot parked to far away from Gate

The plane was delayed substantially due to a mechanical problem, that being said, the airline was very fair with providing a meal coupon for us. I would rather arrive late on a mechanically sound plane than the alternative. The food served in the plane was just awful, however and I recommend a new catering company.

I waiting for 2 hrs to retrieve my luggage. Didn't get home till 3am.

The flight left late and I didn’t get a glass of bubbly upon boarding (which I’m used to when booking business class on other flights), but otherwise it was a pleasant flight with lovely, helpful crew members and I enjoyed my meal.

Flight cancellations, delays, mass confusion and disorganization! That’s Air Canada for you, nothing new. I would have chosen a different airline if it were an option, and Air Canada continues to prove they don’t care about their customers.

everything was fine. but paying for 1 piece of check-in luggage and denying passengers to board with carry-on luggage which by air line's standards does not fit is not acceptable. when one travels for a longer time one needs to have some essentials

Couldn't fit knees, only 1 toilet working, didn't get anything to drink cause the stewards were not able to get to us

Flight was canceled for a reason they knew hours before but did not mention. Next the gate chnage from 37 to 38 at least 10 times. Ridiculous.

The flight from SFO to YVR was delayed and my bag did not make it to my next flight from YVR to SYD. It took almost 3 days after I landed to get my bag and when I got it, it was filled with dust

Our biggest complaint about Air Canada is that if you don’t like your seat during check-in, there’s a fee to move elsewhere. On our flight from YUL to FFL, we were charged to change seats—just regular seats. What’s maddening is that the plane wasn’t even full; there were even a few people sleeping in the middle row sections (entire rows, completely empty), using them as beds. In my opinion, charging passengers for seat changes is a cash grab by Air Canada. They are definitely not the airline they were back in the day. I suppose they need to gouge the consumer now that they pay their attendants while on ground. One out of 10.

Nothing specific. Cabin temperature was too high for some reason.
