I had about 30 minutes to change planes in Beijing cause of the flight delay (still had to switch terminals, check in and go through the border). I was met by an airline representative near the plane with a special bus and accompanied through all the bureaucracy very quickly. Excellent airline staff.

Everything was poor
Food was quite good and there were plenty of TV and movie options to choose from. Little perks like warm washcloths before meals and a packet with slippers, an eye mask and a a toothbrush were a nice touch for an economy seat. Staff had a very helpful attitude.
pls work out a system checking in luggages to destination directly, instead of rechecking in at transferring hub like Beijing. Can be stressful under time pressure. If there’s any flight delay, the whole trip can be messed up.
The staff was friendly and attentive and were up often with beverage service
The entertainment system was awful. The sound quality was terrible and the touch screen was horribly misaligned
Nobody helped me switch my flight around, I hate you.

Crew from lax to xiamen were good they took care of my meal from xiamen to bkk . They offered me their food which was pretty generous of them
I called 24 hrs prior to my flight to ask for Vegetarian meal but that was not available... There was so much problem with food . And the toilets were very very dirty :(
