My next flight was at 18:55 and I asked Virgin Atlantic agent am I allowed to stay in the room until time for my flight comes, he confirmed yes and gave me breakfast, lunch, and dinner voucher. However, next day around 12 I got call from Front Desk that I have to leave my room right away because it's time to chack out and If I want to stay longer I have to pay. I called Virgin Atlantic agancy again and the agent run my information and said to me I can stayin the room longer. After that I called front desk to confirm that but they said they didn't hear anything from Virgin Atlantic and I have to leave the room by 1pm. All of this was really unpleasant!"

Cons: "I didn't make it to Siem Reap because the first leg of the trip from IAD to London was cancelled by Virgin Atlantic after it was fully boarded. The excuse was that a flight attendant had food poisoning and was unable to fly and so the entire flight was cancelled. The Virgin team seemed unconcerned and showed NO sense of urgency to try and get people rebooked. Their solution was to rebook everyone on an evening flight the next day. If a passenger was only going to London, that was probably fine. But for people with connecting flights -- or like me with multiple connecting flights -- that wasn't acceptable."

Cons: "On an 8 hour flight there’s no complimentary meal. I paid for a meal and it was worse than free plane food and starved for the rest of the trip. The chairs were horribly uncomfortable with no lower back support and we were not even given pillows and blankets. There was also no free entertainment. I rented a tablet and had it taken away an hour before landing while I was in the middle of a movie. I might have been ok with that if the flight attendant had politely asked for it back rather than rudely waving and pointing while I stared at her blankly trying to figure out what she wanted. Next time I’ll pay a bit more for an airline that respects its passengers and our comfort."

Cons: "1) While there is more room in the front, there is less room in the width because the trays are built into the armrests instead of in the seat in the front. Because of that, the armrests take more space below and remain static, while the normal armrests can be lifted up and have nothing below the armrest. 2) The text describing the "deal" for the exit row, which costs more, said that the seats have limited recline compared to normal seats. The fact is that the window seat did not recline at all. The button stayed pushed in all the way and the seat would not move at all. We do not know whether it was broken or intentionally disabled. 3) The attendant's approach was somewhat dismissive at first, but on the good side, she quickly rectified and came through with offers and a more understanding attitude, she was nice. 4) We brought this up to the flight attendants' attention, but the best they could do was to give us 1 free headset and any food we wanted. This was not much since we did not want the food. A refund for that extra payment for that seat would have been a better move. 5) The middle seat (it's a row of 3), has a metal box hanging from the front seat, taking a bit more than half the width of the space, so you can only put your feet under the right side of the front seat. 6) I don't think we'll do exit rows again on Icelandair. We did it before on other airlines with good results. 7) Not sure how the prices compare per mile with other airlines really, but on Icelandair, if you get the "Economy Standard", you really don't get much, no peanuts or snacks, no food, only soft drinks, no video games, only movies and music, and you have to bring your own headset or buy one, along with that the better classes of service run out quickly (I booked maybe 6 months ahead) and are rather spendy in comparison with standard."

One attendant would situate you and your belongings and then the next would come and make you move everything and this happened more than once before taking off. The attendants were also giving away seats that people had tickets for and forcing a lot of people to move seats more than once. They also would not take trash more than the one time about an hour after the drinks service, so slow drinkers were forced to keep all their trash for the entire flight and ending up leaving it in the seats because no one is going to take their trash off the plane with them when they had asked the flight attendants to take it during the flight and were refused. Also for a 7 hour flight, at least offering pretzels would be polite. The plane slid off the runway upon arrival and then we had to wait 2 hours for a ground crew to come with stairs and a bus to unload us. Communication to the customers was extremely poor during this time, we had almost no idea what was happening, and with where our bags were, we waited in the airport for an hour before they announced that they wouldn’t be unloading our bags for another few hours."

It was not communicates that food was a microtransaction on flight and was so overpriced so we went nearly 13 hours without food because the flights were also delayed on the tarmac. The de-icing tow truck in Iceland was broken down so we were delayed two hours on the layover. On return, both Icelandair gates opened late. During the layover we were kettled in hot container units before 20 min before being bussed to the plane and held for 15 minutes. Then, the icing on the cake was landing back at Gatwick and seeing my brand new luggage I bought on the trip damaged with thr back pocked ripped out along the bottom seam. I will never again ride with these rude, price-gouging, apathetic amateurs."

When we were given seat assignments at checkin and asked why we'd had no input into the seat selection, they said we should have called in advance. It was really frustrating, especially because we ended up in th back of the plane. I was in a middle seat, winch don't have any space for a bag under the seats in front of them. Then there were no meals served on the overnight flight. I bought a small salad for 12 euros. I have never in my life taken an overnight flight where they don't serve at least dinner, if not both dinner and breakfast. The flight was on time and the attendants were friendly, but I wasn't terribly impressed otherwise."

Long story short we had to buy all new tickets. JustFly.com only refunded $200 of our original ticket cost after assessing numerous cancellation fees (over $700 in cancel fees). We won't be booming JustFly again. Happy Honeymoon to us, once we finally got there."

The BA staff at the rear of the plane were extremely helpful and professional. Very unfortunately for me, I had developed a cough prior to flying, and when a couple of passengers complained they handled the situation very professionally and did not make things in any way awkward for me. Would most certainly recommend BA/Iberia to my friends for future travel.

At the time, I thought 7 hours was strange and I'd assume the crew would need more like 8-10 hours to rest. Unfortunately because we were told so late, all hotels were booked up. I live in NYC and would've gone home for the night however because we needed to be back by 6am (what the agent suggested), there seemed no point in leaving. We were not provided with any pillows or blankets until 4 in the morning. At 6am the next morning, we were told the crew needed "more rest time" and that our new departure time would be 9:30. How is it that the crew now needs more time? Shouldn't that have been figured out at 1am? Before we board, one of the agents thinks they will "lighten the mood" with the following comment - "Who would've thought a little bad weather would've caused this?" Absolutely not a time for jokes and people were very angry. We finally board for what we think is finally a 9:30am take off. No - now two new issues - 1, the co pilot is late (LATE? how can you be late when a flight has been delayed 16 hours) and 2, they needed to remove package from the plane for people who were no longer taking this flight. In the end, we took off around 11:30am which messed up a lot of peoples connecting flights, pick ups at the airport, etc. I will never fly this airline again."
