Cons: "I don't think it could be made better but legroom on this flight was cramped. Certain planes in the JAL fleet have really cramped legroom and uncomfortable seats."

Flew into ITM and flew out KIX and boarding ticket it says only OSAKA so I didnt know. I barely made the flight....if they had accommodate the transportation I would understand. But they tell you, you have to make it there on your own. Another CRAZY information is that I thought at the very least the baggage will be transferred. But nope! You have to pick up the baggage and ride the train across town to the other station. Whoever made this itinerary should be really fired and no longer work at this company. You take a great airline and make the experience so bad."

Next time we'll try HNL-SAI entry to Nam. The Boeing 787 was a great ride to/from Ha Noi, particularly with JAL service."

My 6' husband's knees were touching the seat in front of him, and the seats were super narrow. I can't remember being so cramped in my entire life. That's really my biggest complaint, but when the flight is 6 1/2 hours, being cramped gets old really quick."

Pros: "My 96-yr-old father was given an airport wheelchair after we checked his own transport chair. He was wheeled through security and to the departure gate. We were advised they changed us to a bulkhead row w/an unoccupied seat adjacent to his. Twice during the flight one of the flight attendants came to tell him that she would help him off the plane so to wait for her after the rest of the passengers disembarked. The meal was very tasty.Chicken karaage was not crispy but I wouldn't expect it to be. The rest of the items were well seasoned with the right consistency. Dessert was a flan custard with passion fruit sauce (very Hawaii!), even including a few seeds from the fruit as garnish."

The movie selection was solid (but badly organized) and the TV show selection wasn't terrible. It should all be better. Come on ANA! Contact me for recommendations."

The starter (vermicelli) was overly salty, dry and severely undercooked. The main course was acceptable but the portion of chicken was more like side dish not main. Missing sides."

My husband and daughter were in First Class. The service was below average to say the least - more training required from check in to on board - (in Sydney the staff on the ground went above and beyond) In Singapore it was very fake and contained no sincerity. The lounge itself was also ordinary compared to others, no Amenity kits or PJs in business class - even Virgin Australia has that! I was so excited to be travelling Singapore again given past experiences but now Im not sure I will want to fly them again."

Pros: "All of the staff were super helpful and friendly. Most were able to communicate in English as well. I would highly recommend requesting ahead of time a VOML (Oriental Vegetarian Meal). Although I was unsure of some of the asian vegetables used, all of the meals had a delicious flavor and always came with a side of fruit, a little desert, and a bun. For those skeptical of airplane food, this was definitely a safe bet!"
Cons: "That they do not show what zone is boarding on the TV monitor near the boarding gate, so you have to listen carefully through several translations. The entertainment system while on flight was a bit out of date (quality of the screen was a bit poor), but they did have several good viewing options. I also found that all of the planes did not have a/c controls that you can automatically adjust."

Somehow a very tight connection still was met, but my baggage did not make the connection. So far (one day later) they have located one of my bags and said it will be delivered soon. The other is still missing."

Pros: "The flight in Premium Economy is a good experience, worth the price of the ticket. I am accustomed to very long flights between Southeast Asia and Europe: this one compares favorably."
Cons: "Nothing wrong with the flight. Being a frequent flier I used the very short line in LAX to get my boarding pass. All other passengers were queuing up a very, very, long line. Since every single passenger has to go through a face to face session with a physical person, CI should really have more personnel available at LAX for the check-in procedures. The business lounge, provided by Korean Airlines, is a big disappointment. Food not worth mentioning. Going through security at TPE for passengers in transit there is no short line. The only line is very, very long, although quick enough. The facility for this procedure should also be renewed."

Pros: "I liked most of the crew. They were courteous and attentive. They were also very helpful in getting passengers situated and seated. I also like that when I had an issue with a crew member a manager and her boss both came to talk to me about what happened and offered apologies. They handled the situation with respect and class."
Cons: "There were two things I didn't like. First was that my on board entertainment set top was not working and I had to change seats. Once in a new seat though I was good and comfortable until a crew member had issues with my placement in an empty row that he wanted to use later in the flight to take a nap. What he did next was not nice, lacked communication and almost ruined the long flight for me. If it wasn't for the rest of the crew being great and his managers apologizing and listening to the full complaint I would probably have decided never to take China airlines again. Will I fly China airlines again? Yes, I will."

And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."
