Then he called out to see if a passenger was on board...shouldn’t he know? He had the list in his hand. Another baggage issue. Third, he asked if there were children under 10...was thoroughly confused when he only found one. It was a bit unsettling to the point where we were wondering where we were really going to end up. But our pilot, Hercules, got us there."

Pros: "My flight had a really tight connection at London Heathrow. Then my flight from Vienna arrived 10 minutes late which made it even worse. A very nice BA agent met me as I deplaned at London Heathrow and ran with me thru Terminal 3. Helped me clear security with a priority card and ran to my gate with 2 minutes to spare. The women was really nice and if it was not for her I am sure I would not have made my connection. I don't know if there is anyway to track her down and thank her but I would like to do so. The flight attendants were OK but not excessively helpful."

I will never fly America Airlines again due to my incoming flight to Toronto and the out bound to Philadelphia (cancelled on the way to Philly for no apparent reason)."

They kept delaying the flight, 5 minutes at a time, for 4.5 hours. It flew out of LGA, it was a 9pm flight. The airport food sources were closed, and AA kept us until 1am-- no food, no internet, and, because LGA has terrible cell reception, no phone service. Once we got on the plane, everyone was really hungry, and the plane had no snacks. No entertainment because the TV system was broken. It was just a miserable experience. I regret trying to save $20 by booking that flight. I have had nothing but terrile experiences on American Airlines-- NEVER AGAIN."

On this flight, I was pleasantly surprised...the flight left on time and arrived early, the bags were a little slow but acceptable, and the crew was good. The only complaint is the typical lack of room on UA planes. Fortunately the flight was less than 2 hours."

I have experienced worse on recent UA flights...at least this time my knees weren't actually touching the seat in front of me, and the person in front of me chose not to recline their seat so it stayed that way. The other issue with this flight was the boarding process, which was really slow. Fortunately, they towed the plane to the gate over an hour before departure and started boarding almost immediately so we still managed to leave on time."

Cons: "My flight was delayed by an hour and a half. That's the amount of time I could have spent to drive home to Milwaukee. I stuck around because there was no indication of a flight cancellation. I would rather hop on a 15-30min flight than go through the hassle of renting a car. BUT the flight did get canceled, the next flight was completely booked and the next flight out after that was at NIGHT. I arrived in Chicago in the morning. The gate agent told us all to head to United customer service. There I received RUDE, poor excuse of a "service" only to be told they don't give refunds at the counter as we were told by the gate agent. So do that on your own time. THEN I had to buy my bus ticket and spend 1.5-2hrs on top of already waiting 1.5hrs for the flight that got canceled. HORRIBLE. Will never fly United again. Did i mention upon my arrival home I found out American was WIDE open seat wise to chicago?? And no one checked for me!"
