I can see having to pay for the seat to reserve it, and having to pay if I'm using 2 seats and the plane is full otherwise, but if the flight isn't full, I should be able to get a refund for one of the seats. It's discrimination and it's not okay. Or, you know, have seats that fit all your customers. Also the SiriusXM sound was of extremely poor quality."

Cons: "Night flights should include blankets and pillows. (at no extra cost) Just like a hotel. Traveling with bulky blankets and pillows in order to be able to sleep on a night flight is not always possible. JB provides eyemask and ear plugs, which is ridiculous. I can bring my own eyemask and ear plugs. I even paid extra for upgrade seats! The headrests are not adjustable and the recline is barely noticeable. It was a long 6 hour flight! No entertainment. I have flown other airlines to South America and been able to enjoy full feature recent release films, TV shows and games. Why can't JB figure out how to do that on their international flights? No meals. All other airlines offer meal service on their international flights. I pay as much for JB flights as I have for other airlines going to South America. The value for JB tickets just isn't there. To fly JB, picture yourself getting on board with your own pillows, blankets, entertainment and food. That about sums it up."

Pros: "Delta is the airline to fly if you have to fly (like I did) during a pandemic. They made sure at every turn we felt as safe as possible. They had passengers distanced from each other the whole time, handed out sanitizing wipes as we walked on the plane, made sure folks kept their masks on, gave us individual little baggies with snacks and water bottles that also had individual hand sanitizer packets. I felt so much more safe flying Delta on my way home to Hawaii in July than I did when I flew American Airlines on my way to the mainland in June."

We didn't get our seats until we got to the gate because apparently we bought our tickets too soon to take off, which was three weeks. Also, staff claimed there wasn't enough bin space so asked people to check their bags. We saw people with two big bags get on board at the start, and then staff made everyone at the back of the line check their bags. But there was plenty of bin space before take off. And we were seated in the last row which can't recline."

Pros: "The gate agents did a good job of making sure the boarding process was organized, despite confusion with two Chicago-bound flights departing from the same gate in a short window. Delay was communicated far enough in advance that I didn't travel to the airport until it was necessary."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 3 hours due to the incoming aircraft, but nobody at the gate or onboard offered any explanation or even acknowledged the delay. The aircraft did not handle turbulence well at all... one of roughest flights in recent memory despite avoiding weather. Wifi had weak signal (on a 70-person jet!) and the streaming entertainment did not work the entire time... it either did not load or I got an error message."

While standing in line to board the plane (no jetway), there were three groups waiting for three different flights. Crew was uninterested. Cons: "I never experienced the flight because I wasn't given a seat. The airline oversold the flight and I never got to go. I missed my once in a lifetime experience because the airline is greedy at my (and other people's) expense. I missed out on a priceless experience. Not only that, the bag that I checked did not make it off the flight so I remained in DC while my bag went to Medellin. I had to purchase new toiletries and had to make arrangements to get back to the airport. As of now, I do not plan on choosing American Airline nor LATAM for my future flights."

Nobody (kayak, vayama, air canada or brussel airlines) gave me any kind of information about those new requirements and I ended up cancelling the whole trip as I couldn't find any other flight to get to Europe. Really upsetting...."

Cons: "Quando embarcamos, quase todos os espaços para as malas já estavam ocupados, o espaço lateral das poltronas era muito apertado, a reclinação era péssima, praticamente inexistente. Since I am a physician, it wasn't easy to arrange coverage so I could make it to delhi for a particular event. And this delay in flight was a major disappointment and made all the effort futile."

I lined up and waited for 20 minutes on the next line. after she finished, she told me to wait for one minute. I told her i can't wait or i would be late for the flight. she helped me and when i realized if i lined at immigration i would miss the flight. i was smart enough to ask for passengers in front of the line to let me cut. i was lucky enough they let me and i made it through."

Cons: "Flight left two hours late. They split my wife and I up despite having our tickets for two months and checking in well before the flight and then lost our luggage and delivered it a full day later than they told us."

Cons: "A very obese man sat on my side and took half of my seat. The crew ignored me till we were on the air. They were very unprofessional. They found a seat for me. I approached them and told them that I was willing to pay half of a business seat, just let me go. The crew was unwilling and threanned me by returning the plane before it took off. I was not treated with respect. Next Tuesday I will fly back to Los Angeles with air Canada. I am sorry but this experience has taught me to fly no more with your company. Rabbi Moises Benzaquen"

Cons: "The light and entertainment system controls are in the arm rest and is very easy to accidentally turn lights on/off or turn the screen off for yourself or your neighbor. The show was at 11 am and I arrived at Richmond at that time. Your airline sucks. To make it worst on my way to Aguascalientes I got stuck in Houston for the night and half a day because yall delayed flights due to snow that never happened. I had to before for food vouchers because I had already gone over my budget with the delay. Overall it was a horrible experience."

The bag claim services from when I landed in Richmond didn't have a clue on how to contact Newark or to confirm my bags will be on the flight for that day. I had to do the research and find it myself while she watched a movie on her iPad. Needless to say if I could give a negative star rating I would. I missed the banquet and received my bags the next day and still couldn't get a reason from either airport on why they got left behind."
