We were moved to the international terminal and had to wait over an hour to get through security because they were understaffed. We finally got through security as the doors of our plane were closing. Upon reaching our assigned gate, we were told it had changed. We received one email less than a half hour before boarding of the change but since we were in line for security, did not see it. Our rebooked flight was delayed which meant we wouldn't make our connecting flight in DC. We went to Ft Lauderdale instead and sat near our gate until boarding time. At this point we we were informed of yet another gate change as boarding was supposed to start, however there were no announcements made. Our 2.5 hour non stop flight turned into an over 12 hour travel day"

It’s the situation and handling after was very unprofessional. we were told to collect our bags and go to check in counter and collect our next bookings but instead after collecting check ins we were just given meal ticket and hotel address and given a toll free number to call which is very inappropriate. It should become your responsibility to rebook ya but not leaving it on us to call some number and wait. Though I called and I was told that I was not deboarded to rebook me. For which I tried to go and find an Emirates personnel who refused to talk to the Emirates guy on phone to explain and would just refuse to talk to me. Imagine yourself carrying two check ins and a carry one and running around just to try to get somebody to answer. Mr. Munit on phone was kind enough to be on talk and hold for about 40mins with me. It still ended up unable to book at that time. I was going to India for two day period and my one day had to be spent over in JFK. As humans it’s not the technical difficulty that was an issues it’s the Emirates crews at jfk inability to properly respond and answer arrogantly was the issue. One person instead of answering the questions of an old man was very rude and just blubbered “can’t you just listen to me” that was very inappropriate. It should be her responsibility to listen first. I have always flew Emirates and inflight crew are always very patient and good. This experience makes me think otherwise."

After paying $300 worth of rebooking fees and an additional $150 on a hotel room we finally flew to JFK and made it to Martinique where we enjoyed a 2 day vacation. So unfortunate, this extremely delayed flight by JetBlue cost us a lot of money, time, etc."

Off I went, and off Irma went, I had to change my return travel plans and unfortunatelyJetblue didn't have s direct flight to my new destination, the counter agent in DC went thru possible options and worked with main ticketing to refund my flight for future use, noting it saved me money to rebook online at a cheaper fare, what airline does that theses days. Very pleased and grateful Jetblue made my travel during a tense weather weekend the least of my worries, they were Rock Stars!"

My bag fit the meassurements and still was forced to check it (which I did not want to do as I did not want to be waiting an hour for my bag at my arrival as I had work early the next day. In addition there was airplaine traffic as it was "rush hour" instead of flying at 7:45 we departed almost at 9pm!!!! Have to pay for food Quality of tv monitors very poor And in an uncomfortable position No movie options No wifi although stated the aircraft has Non functioning electrical plug"

I contacted AA in two ocassions and both times their personnel were impersonal and even rude to me with the whole situation. I ended up losing $250 because of choosing American Airlines. I will do my best to avoid traveling with American ever again, and I will spread the word, as well. I felt robbed, so unfair."

The dark haired woman gave the guy next to me headphones and when I held out my hand she just looked at me and walked away as if she'd been called away. Which she hadn't she came back and started with the row immediately behind us and the guy next to me was nice enough to give me his. Also after nearly waiting 4 hours, 9 minutes before boarding we were given food vouchers and told to "run and hurry" and get food "to go" so most people didn't even bother using the vouchers because of that. I've had better flights with American Airlines, I just didn't know this one would be so poor. Definitely way below average expectations."

This same passenger walked to the back where the food and beverages were to serve herself water. Once seen, the flight attendant told her to go back to her seat. My boyfriend's television controller didn't work and he had to use mines. He sat in his seat and had to watch a movie that was in front of my seat. Overall, it was a rough start to his birthday celebration."

It was the most I believable moments I’ve ever encountered. We were forced to sit and hope someone showed up. Finally two women come in at 7am check our bags, then take us to the plane and board us. I boarded with one women who never even gave her boarding pass to them. We asked another employee if they needed it and he said not to worry about it as they didn’t need to scan them. What?!"
Cons: "Baggage waited too long to receive baggage when it was the only plane on there at the time"
Cons: "i would not fly again if possible. My trip consisted of 3 flights, starting in Fort. Lauderdalento to Orlando, Orlando to Denver, and Dever to Aspen. However, The first flight operated by Silver (a partner of United) was delayed due to "maintenance". Due to this delay, we missed our connecting flights and had to get new flights, causing us to have an over night layover in Chicago and then arriving in Aspen Sunday, the next day of our original arrival day. I just want to add that I saw on the departure board that Silver had maybe 16 flights that morning/ afternoon and maybe 7-8 of those flights, including mine, were delay or canceled. Not to mention they never updated their board to reflect our flight was delayed. The only good comment I have was that the Silver attendent who helped us get a new flight was very helpful."

Very long drive and didn't get to Orlando until 1 AM, but better treatment than we got from Silver Airways..."

The customer service staff, both on the ground and in the sky, are surly at best. And the only drink they offer is water. The planes are extremely old and very loud. Bring your earplugs, and make this your airline of last resort. Silver is horrendously appalling! Also, they do not have a customer service hotline to call if you would like to complain about your experience. They insist that you email them. What a joke!"
