Cons: "This was the rudest and most unprofessional airline staff I have ever worked with in my life. I personally watched the lady at the gate check-in desk straight up lie to a passenger who she didn’t like personally. This passenger was late for boarding by 2-3 minutes (yet still 10 minutes before scheduled take off), and when he arrived at the gate the Silver Airways employee informed him that he would not be allowed to load since the door had already shut and the engines were already running. From my seat though, I could clearly see that the engines were completely still and not yet started. When I noticed this, I started paying closer attention. After pleading with the Silver employee in a civil manner, he began to become agitated with the lack of help he was getting. It was the day after Christmas, and the man was just trying to fly home to his family. The plane was still sitting at the gate, but the Silver employee said (in a very rude fashion) there was nothing she could do except change him to a later flight. 15 minutes go by, and the plane finally starts to back out of the gate. The man who had just missed his flight decided to take the Silver employee up on her offer to switch to the later flight, but when he asked, she looked at her computer and said there was no more space available on the later flight. Disappointed and annoyed, the man left the terminal completely frustrated because she had just offered him a later flight that didn’t have any room left. Or at least that’s what she told him. 2 Minutes later, another man approached the gate desk with the same problem, he missed the same flight. This time though, when she looked up the same exact later flight, it all of a sudden had plenty of space. She even asked the man whether he would prefer an exit row or a window seat. I was left completely dumbfounded. This employee had just told the previous man it was full, and now she was printing a boarding pass for this guy. It was obvious that she liked this man more than the last guy, and that’s why she was able to “help”. This makes me absolutely disgusted with Silver Airlines character and integrity. I will never fly Silver again, and I hope all who read this take my advise."

Pros: "Great airline. The resort is overpriced but beautiful."

Cons: "What's the point of overhead compartments, if carry-on that is in addition to a carrying bag must be stowed, and overhead compartment sits empty?"

Pros: "We boarded and arrived early."
Cons: "Cramped and noisy."

Cons: "delayed 2hrs for mechanical issue. the regular customs area was closed. Had to go to other customs location not attached to airport. Was told a shuttle would pick us up. This did not happen. Missed my next flight."

Cons: "There was no gate agent available to answer questions and flight was delayed without any announcements or updates until after original takeoff time. Lots of confused passengers."

Pros: "Once in the air the flight was smooth and we were able to make up a little of the time delayed from boarding."
Cons: "Flight was initially delayed 30 min due to late arrival of plane from previous flight . Reason unknown. Then apparently the folding stairs from inside the plane we not working correctly and maintenance had to be called in. The repair guy worked on it for about 15 min and got the stairs to fold down. Then we waited another 30-45 min for someone to "sign off" on the repair that was done to the stairs. Well apparently that never happened, because they eventually lifted the stairs back into the plane and rolled up a ramp to the plane for passengers to enter, which had been sitting on the tarmac by the plane the entire time. So we're all wondering if they could just use the ramp instead of the stairs, why the HELL didn't they do that in the first place??? It would have saved us 40-50 minutes in extra delays !!!"

Pros: "Number of available flights from Silver"
Cons: "My Kayak / Travelocity experience was the worst! In (literally) minutes after booking the Thursday flight I realised an error and should have booked the Tuesday flight. I was unable to contact anyone at Kayak, Travelocity or Silver Airlines that evening, so I had to wait til AM. I was charged a fee for Cancelling by Kayak and booked a new reservation with Silver. Ridiculous!"

Pros: "Plane left on time and arrived on time. No delays."
Cons: "Had to wait on trolley for another flight to deplane. Added 30 minutes onto our trip."

Pros: "The flight was fine. Food and entertainment is not applicable because the flight was only 35 minutes"
Cons: "They did not put the luggage on the baggage carousel after landing, but left it sitting who-knows-where -- underneath the airport, or outside the terminal -- and didn't want to look for it without an argument"

Pros: "That I made it there alive."
Cons: "The 2 hour delay. My flight was supposed to arrive at my destination at 3:47pm, yet we didn't board the plane that was supposed to leave at 2:25 until 4:20, despite no weather delays or issues with the plane. The only explanation was the plane was "scheduled" to land at 3:47. Even better they only announced this change 5 minutes before our departure time, and we're very unapologetic about it, as though it's commonplace and completely acceptable. Don't fly Silver Airways, and be careful booking with United, as they will place you in one of these companies. it amazed me at how in the 4 hours I was there, I counted 3 flights that were delayed besides mine. Just horrendous all around."

Pros: "The desk agent at the Ft. Meyers terminal on our flight was hilarious! He was really funny, and it meant a lot to see him make people laugh!!!!"

Cons: "We booked a March 2017 flight in Oct 2016 with only a few seats left. In Jan or so, Silver Airways arbitrarily decides to shorten our 5 day trip by a day and change our return flight to 6am, eliminating any activity on the final day. I called and said it was not acceptable. Their response was that they had the right to do it. No reason given. I know the flight was not cancelled. Assume they just resold my seat for a higher price. GOT A REFUND and flew BAHAMAS AIR."

Pros: "Flights was ok but was 30 minutes late."
Cons: "When I got to Fort Lauderdale no luggage was there . I ask silver airlines and they said everything was uoaded from the plane. Then they called Key West and my luggage was never loaded. I was at the airport at 9:00am and my flight left at 12:45pm approximately. How can you not load my luggage. I finally got my luggage at 1:10am on Sunday ."

Pros: "On time, friendly crew, check in very easy, non-stop flight"
Cons: "Tight quarters, no snack, hard to hear announcements, more expensive than expected"

Cons: "Everything. Late departure is normal for them because their schedule seems to be totally unrealistic and their incoming flights are always late arriving, hence delaying the onward flight. the baggage handling was a joke. On the one hand you could say they were very quick in delivering the checked bags to the carousel but on the other hand they were totally incompetent because the moment the bags arrive they apparently cart them off to their office and lock them up while their employees go off to do other things. In the time it took us to walk from the gate to baggage claim our baggage had been carted off to the office and we had to wait over an hour for the next Silver arrival to find an employee who could open the office and deliver our bags. Additionally there was never any information about the flight on the screens in arrivals and we had to ask a lady at the FLL information desk for help."

Pros: "very efficient got us in ahead of schedule good job"
Cons: "price is high for short flight"

Pros: "The woman at check-in to get my boarding pass at TPA was nice. Our flight attendant was very nice as well."
Cons: "There was no real sign pointing towards were my gate was. Additionally the flight was boarding late and no announcements were made. Also, I didn't know the airplane was that small. The workers at the gate seemed very uninterested in being there as well and had a very "whatever" attitude. We had a lot turbulence but that's something you can't control."

Cons: "This was the worst airline I've ever flown and I don't generally use hyperbole in my reviews. How is it that customer service won't answer the phone except for the 2 hours there is an agent at the gate? I arrived at 9:30pm on 7/21 and received my luggage at 11:30pm on 7/22 even though it arrived on the 11:20 AM flight."

Cons: "Mechanical issues? (3 passengers)-canceled economic reasons?!"

Cons: "They canceled my flight, then canceled the next one, finally got a flight to Miami, which was boarded late and the attendant was extremely rude when I asked about the details of my new flight (like where I was going and when my connection was...). Then, due to weather we were rerouted to Gainsville. They wouldn't let me get out, even though there was a more direct connection in Gainsville to DC than Miami. Instead I go back to Miami, and even though I make the connecting flight, they sold my seat to a standby customer. I didn't get home until 11:30pm. I was suppose to arrive home by 12pm. It was awful and the attendants were so unhelpful and rude that it was actually ridiculous. I complained to United and of course they won't do anything. I don't qualify for a refund because they switched me over to another airline for the final leg of the trip."
