First international flight where the meals were not to my taste.
Overall, my experience with EVA Air was mixed. The highlight was that the airline clearly tried to provide a premium dining experience by offering the Michelin-starred Kanpai Classic beef yakiniku rice. However, in the limited space of an economy-class cabin, this meal felt overly oily and not very practical to eat. The sauce and grease made it easy to get one’s hands or tray table dirty, and after the meal many passengers may need to go to the lavatory simply to wash their hands. While the food itself may be high quality, the presentation and practicality did not seem well suited to an in-flight environment. Another disappointing part was the paid Wi-Fi service. I paid for the internet package, but the service did not work properly. What made the experience more frustrating was that passengers then had to spend additional time requesting a refund, and the refund process itself was slow and inconvenient. For an international airline, I think a malfunctioning paid service should be handled more efficiently. As for the seat, I feel EVA Air’s economy-class seats may be more comfortable for Asian passengers or people with smaller body frames, but they may not be as comfortable for taller or larger Western passengers on long-haul flights. The overall cabin environment also varied during the flight. Some passengers were not very mindful of noise, cleanliness, or shared cabin etiquette, which affected the comfort of the journey. I believe clearer reminders from the airline regarding cabin manners and hygiene could help improve the overall passenger experience. In short, EVA Air has some strong points, especially in trying to offer a premium Taiwanese-style service, but there are also areas that need improvement: more practical in-flight meals, a more reliable paid Wi-Fi system, faster refund handling, and better cabin management during long-haul flights.

Crew was good. Sometimes food was eh. The spaghetti is gross for me. First time i got food, they didn’t provide utensils so i ate with my hands. I was hungry. They gave it to me 20 mins later when a crew member came by. I would fly with them again. Nobody is perfect
Eva air was fine - Trip.com via KAYAK sold my family access to a “VIP” lounge fo a layover in Taipei… i’m please look at my pictures. It was a scam, Trip.com knows it and they are perpetrating a fraud through your web site.
EVA airlines was excellent: on time or early, safe, courteous crew. Highly recommended.
The type of the food requested (Asian vegetarian) was not properly met with. They have very limited snack items that may compensate for the main meals.

The flight was on time. Boarding process was smooth. The crew was friendly, helpful, and they kept plane facility clean. The food could've been better.
On time. Easy online check-in. But always give me a middle economy seat with wacky passengers (or even a seat next to the toilet room). Also could be more courtier staff.
I enjoyed the flight, but a little too much turbulence on the flight. Thank you for the meal and entertainment. This kept my kids entertain during the flight. I have to admit comparing the crew from ANA vs United, there was a sense of more accomodation, friendliness and service compared to United crew. I felt for the United crew, it was just a job and it can be seen in there demeanor and delivery.
ANA split my family of 4 by seating us each separately which didn't seem to make much sense. Both ways we were not seated together and the glitch int he online check in system meant we could not change our seats or get boarding passes without seeing a person at the airport counnter. The staff however offered good service in the air.
The food was not great and the seats you need a little bit more space to put your things down around you: the blankets and toiletry bag were good. Flight was on time and bags etc no issues
The pilot was kept warning about the weather terrifying us. The flight attendants were not warm or pleasant.
The overall experience was ok, though there was certainly room for improvement. My husband was asked to check his carry-on bag at the gate due to claims that the flight was “full.” However, upon boarding, we observed ample overhead space and several empty rows of seats. This made the request appear unnecessary and caused some discomfort, particularly as he was the only passenger singled out for this procedure.
The flight was smooth, but there were not enough options for meals and I was given beef when I do not eat beef. The flight going was much better because we received more snacks.
Flight attendant took good care of my mom as she boarded on and off the aircraft from her wheelchair. I did not care much for the food nor the movie options Available. I appreciated the increased legroom available in economy. This was one of the main reasons we chose the airline. Overall, the good value and I would fly again.
I booked a ANA flight, this was just a regular United flight — as always very bad, dirty, rude service, quite frankly really embarrassing to be flying with this after spending time in Japan.
For the price of a seat that is obviously crammed together so as to get many more people onboard and combined with the long flight duration, Free WiFi should be an automatic “Thank You for Flying with Us!” To charge an additional fee when so many other businesses offers it is a bit “cheap” on the airline’s part.
Lovely airport at Haneda. Great food selection. Spacious and private boarding area with dedicated bathroom for each gate.
The quality and the quantity of food was terrible. I was starving to death at the end of the flight. Used serve 3 meals long time ago, now reduced to 2 meals during the 17 hours flight. Never offered wine or tea to us. We have to ask . Extremely hard to get the attention of the flight attendants. They intentionally ignore us to minimize the service. Bathrooms were dirty
Never book through Kayak. They can offload booking to third parties that are completely horrible.
Crew is excellent Wifi needs to be improved in order to connect to the internet.
The flight arrived on time. 2×2 seating meant no one needed to sit in the middle. This was a connectibf flight from Singapore and required going to 3 counters in different levels to check a golf bag
The staff on the plane were attentive and friendly. The frustration with the cabin crew was that we were served second to special diet people. And, we were in economy section. The boarding staff was mediocre. Got scolded for requesting to sit with spouse on 14 hours long flight home. Was told they cannot break up families for us. Didn’t understand how we were denied sitting together as we are husband and wife. After many words of exchange, we were accommodated. Cleaning crew did a horrible job! Bathrooms were unsanitary or dirty from beginning of flight! Didn’t expect sparkling as its economy, but did except decent.
Construction at PDX resulting in very lung walk from the rental car to the gate. SFO, extremely long walk between terminals to get to connecting Singapore airlines flight. My smart watch recorded a total of 3 miles.
I very much liked and appreciated the service on board. The seating arrangement in Business feels uncomfortable. It's not made for tall people, in any case.

My overall experience with Singapore Airlines is great. Will definitely fly Singapore airline again.
Crew is phenomenal. Helpful with anything you may need. Lots of entertainment options. Food was good. On time, no complaints.
Food could be better it was okay. Entertainment seems dated it was something but in this day and age could be a lot better.
The aircraft was massive (A-380) and became crowded with 400+ passengers on board.
Coming back to America was a peaceful flight everyone and everything was perfect
Flight was too cold. I wore a regular cotton tee and it wasn’t enough. It was a night time flight so I would have thought a blanket would be provided to passengers. A 4 hour flight and no options for a meal? I flew Asiana the next day from Seoul to Manilla. Same duration, 4 hours. They give everyone a pillow and blanket and serve a meal. Why is United so cheap and holding back meals and amenities? Also, they promote too much gay stuff and DEI in their advertisements. Please be mindful of other beliefs and don’t shove your gay ideology down my throat.
Staff always with a smile and very helpful with my mom who has mobility issues.
The seats felt very small. We were supplied with pillows and blankets, which was nice. Lots of noise from the bathroom, plus exterior noise. Made it hard to hear the entertainment system, even using my own noise-cancelling headphones. The food was really bad. I generally request a vegetarian meal and one was supplied, but the pasta was cold and hard and there was nothing pleasant about it. Two meals were served on this flight; one was a repeat of the meal I had had on the flight immediately preceding this one, which was bad enough I didn't even try it. Drinks were very limited. All I wanted was water, and on a 10.5 hour flight, I was given 3 cups of about 3 ounces each.
We took business class, It was comfortable and I was able to sleep.
Great service. They could offer vegetarian food and do more to reduce waste.

The crew could have awaken me to eat dinner!! I was so waiting to order the braised duck breast and fell asleep b4 crew got to me to take order. When I awoke, lights were out and food had been served without me eating. I did love the apple juice!
The flight was delayed for over an hour, which made me worry about pets in cargo.

Vegetarian options should be included with every meal. Even just simple steamed vegetables and whole grains would capture a wide audience.
Extensive delays, poor organization to board people, as it felt like chaos to get inside of the plane. No lines, everyone gathering together like a mayhem, very confusing. Passengers out of hand and rude, which is not the airlines fault. However, there should be rules, e.g., not letting one passenger take 2+ spots in the overhead bin.
The bed was alright in business class. Food variety and quality were not up to the mark compared to the business class airfare.
The food and service was great. You have to pay a lot for in flight Internet though which is lame.
Cathay has a great reputation, though it's baseline economy seating is nothing to write home about (and SE Asia flight passengers sometime lack 'routine stateside' etiquette). On the other hand, food was great, flight attendants were nice, and price was very good~
