Cons: JAL cabin attendants and people from customer center were very professional and nice

Read more about Japan Airlines

Cons: JAL cabin attendants and people from customer center were very professional and nice

Cons: Needs more variety of movies

Pros: Was able to get home toward Los Angeles with delays and change in plane so did not get proper seating as reserved.
Cons: The plane was delayed from Tokyo to Los Angeles due to a pilot staffing issue. The plane stopped in Honolulu at 6:00AM in the morning and no staff was able to assist so they made everyone go through the run-around to have the luggage scanned for agriculture. Then they stated that even though we had pre-check, we did not qualify and the boarding pass was not issued with Honolulu to LAX. Over 5 hours delay and did not know that we could have stayed in Hawaii free room and meals. Terrible and one of the worst vacations ever for returning to the US. The food was not great.

Pros: The coach seats were larger than those on domestic flights. The window glass was dimmable for ideal lighting.
Cons: The arm rests did not go up all the way. This made it difficult to maximize comfort with my wife.

Pros: Very friendly and accommodating crew.

Pros: It wasn't JAL it was American.

Pros: The crew was organized and efficient.
Cons: Entertainment: movie choices were limited.

Cons: Seat cushion could use more cushioning. Larger portions of drinks served

Cons: Good space with large seats. Good food and service.

Pros: Good service

Pros: Friendly, clean. Great movie selection.
Cons: I wasn't allowed to reserve a seat - apparently they don't allow Kayak customers to reserve seats now. I was forced into a middle seat and was uncomfortable and dehydrated the majority of the trip. Nice girl at baggage check said she'd ask a manager to move me, and to let them know at the gate, but the people at the gate said no. I felt discriminated against because I didn't book through them and/or I'm not Japanese. They historically love to put mushrooms in their food, like a fetish. This left me with one choice for the entree - some version of oyakodon - eggs and chicken. In my box there were two enormous chunks of fat/skin and another unidentifiable part of the chicken, and about the amount of edible chicken as 1 1/2 nuggets from Chick-Fil-A. There was more lotus root than chicken, so basically I had a box of rice and scrambled eggs with garnish. For the second meal, it was the Yoshinoya gyudon - a small serving of thinly sliced beef with rice. If I bought this fresh at a Yoshinoya restaurant, it would cost about $3. It's the rough equivalent of serving you a McDouble - cheap and filling and a coin toss if you get stomach pains. I lost that coin toss. Unless there is a big fare difference or I find out that their reserved seat policies are changed, I will choose ANA or another carrier. I used to enjoy JAL, but I cannot abide by idiotic decisions that seemed designed to punish people for using 3rd-party booking sites or who are not Japanese.

Pros: Food was acceptable. Stewardess very helpful
Cons: On a long flight it is good to have a good movie. Selection very bad. Seats r not comfortable seat turns into bed but lower part is too low. Poor design. Food not very good

Pros: Service and Entertainment were great. Lots of legroom is great.
Cons: There are no air vents per seat so on the whole I was very hot and uncomfortable during the flight. One other detail: this is not Japan Airlines fault, but at LAX we had to sit on the runway for an hour because there was some confusion about the parking space for the plane. After a nine hour flight, to sit and wait for another hour was very uncool.

Cons: The attendants were very pleasant and efficient. I will certainly prefer to fly JAL, especially if you could offer the lower rates. On the down side, it was very difficult to contact their customer service line. However their online help desk was very responsive.

Pros: On time Cleanliness
Cons: The food for people with special needs is horrible Most of the staff has poor communication in English on international flights

Pros: Thier food tasted excellent!
Cons: Wish there was a vegetarian option too.

Pros: As expected everything was not overly done nor less of comfort and services. The food was Excellent quality and prepared with care. The airplane was new types and flew fast and smooth.
Cons: The Kansai airport was huge and super fancy. Shere number of people were like the Zoo and its designed to move people through all the retail shops to get to my gate.

Pros: Able to accommodate many dietary requirements and friendly crew

Pros: Attendants appeared intolerant and impatient. Not the pleasant courteous crew flying into Japan.

Pros: Everything. Was just outstanding.
Cons: No complaints

Pros: Great service and terrific vegan meals served. Facilities were clean and personnel were very helpful and provided terrific service to the passengers.

Pros: Entertainment options were good
Cons: Food was mediocre and long waits for restroom

Pros: The food was good. Seats were as comfortable as any flight is.
Cons: There were no diet soft drinks available on the flight.

Pros: As usual A1 service all the way!

Pros: There was more leg room than most airlines, friendly staff, and good movies and food selection.

Pros: I love flying jal
Cons: It's not so much the flight as it was the plane, the 787 seats recline too much for the limited legroom you get so if the person I front of you reclines all the way you will ride with there seat in your knees the whole way

Pros: everything, the courtesy of the entire crew, the way they show care and respect and compassion to the passengers especially the seniors
Cons: flight delays

Pros: Flight attendants provide fantastic service with a smile. Business class meals are top notch.

Cons: The father next to me that spilled two drinks on me. I didn't even get an apology. Beyond sold out plane too...

Pros: Everything was perfect! Thank you for a great experience!

Pros: I am all right for travelling by Japan airlines this trips to Taipei. My hometown.

Pros: Had Hindu vegetarian meals, which were good for airplane food and much better than the "standard" fare for the rest of the plane. The flight attendants were very nice and helpful.
Cons: Space under the seat in front of me was very cramped - a large box for electronics got in the way and made it difficult to get into a comfortable position, which is tough for an 11-hour flight.. The plane was completely full, and my husband and I had to sit in separate rows - I was never able to switch the seats, even though I called several times and tried at the airport as well. Entertainment selection not as good as the American flight out. The JAL website (English version at least) is not very easy to use.

Pros: There was a huge amount of new and classic movies to chose from to pass the time. The crew was friendly and professional. The food was decent. I like the variety of food choices and some of the dishes were delicious (salmon and rice). The seats are pretty comfortable. They aren't great for sleeping in, but the flight was decently quiet and dark for some time. I would recommend bringing a pair of earplugs and a neck pillow.
Cons: The bread could be better. I would have the bread be softer and warm. A warm croissant as a substitute would be amazing. The butter could be softer (like margarine) so that way it can actually be spread onto the bread.

Pros: The cabin crew was professional, friendly and courteous. It's always refreshing to fly an Asian airline for the impeccable customer service. The 787 left me with minimal jet lag. The odd shaped pillows provided great back support.
Cons: The seats were comfortable but old fashioned. The WiFi was spotty and it would have been nice to have Asian food options.

Pros: Everything! JAL employees go above and beyond to deliver perfect customer service with a genuine smile.
Cons: Nothing! No complaints here

Pros: I like everything about my flight
Cons: There was nothing to dislike

Pros: Food

Pros: Comfortable and spacious for economy class. Very helpful staff.
Cons: If I have to be picky the movie selection didn't seem great.

Pros: The flight was great! Premium Economy on JAL is worth the price. The leg rest was a huge perk and luckily nobody was sitting next to me so it felt extra roomy!
Cons: The entertainment selection wasn't as robust as other flights. I had to make sure and "save" things for the flight back so I wasn't bored. I always pack a book or game along the way, so it really wasn't that much of an issue.

Pros: I forgot to make prior arrangements for a special meal due to allergy concerns. I notified the crew onboard, and they were attentive to my issue and helped me avoid certain foods which may cause an allergy attack.
Cons: The seats felt very dated and uncomfortable. The entertainment options were very limited.

Pros: Attendants were very supportive. Food was very good.
Cons: Restroom smelled bad

Pros: Very attentive service, very comfortable seats on economy, good food, excellent attention to detail

Pros: the crews were very professional and caring. the food was the best of all so far
Cons: the only thing was this flight was delayed and we missed the flight at LAX, but JAL reserved a hotel room near by for us so that we were able to refresh ourselves and relax till the next flight. thank you JAL!

Pros: the AA flight to japan was the worst flight I've ever been on! tv sreen didn't work, space was tight, food terrible, two sets of headphones bad, I could go on but I don't even want to think about it anymore
Cons: getting off

Pros: Service with a smile goes even longer for long flights. Excellent service throughout the flight. Loved the feeling of spaciousness, even in Economy. Great sleep as a result.
Cons: Number of movies available in Entertainment was limited, especially compared to competitors like Singapore Airlines. Ran out of good choices on a long flight.

Pros: The good: The food was tasty given we were on an airplane. Better entertainment selection than my AA flight to Japan. I prefer the 3-3-3 seat layout to the 2-5-2 because even though I had a middle seat there was only one person to get past in either direction.
Cons: The bad: The plane was warm. I understand some people get cold, but since blankets are provided I would much prefer a colder plan than a warmer one. The warmth made it hard to sleep, which is a big problem on an overnight flight. JAL does not provide individual air vents to passengers seated where I was. I understand the reason for this, but I wish there was some way to get more comfortable. The seats were standard airline economy seats, roomy enough and with enough legroom for my sub-6-foot frame, but not the most comfortable.

Pros: I've been always flying with U.S. airlines this past several years just because transits are easier. I forgot about how friendly and nicer JAL crews are. Their food is much much better. They served us with a cup of Haagen-Dazs icecream for dessert while a Fatboy is normally served by other airlines. I was impressed by how spacious the foot area of their economy seat is. Because I felt quite comfortable, I slept five hours straight during the flight which is phenomenal to me. I will definitely fly with JAL again!

Pros: Great movie selection, food was decent, good beverage service, good temperature in the cabin, good leg room

Pros: Customer service is great.

Pros: Japan Airlines was a pleasure, from beginning to end & in between. The flight attendants emulate joy in their service to others, they are observant to the clients' needs even before they are asked for help. In a long flight such as this was, it was obvious that they also tend to the comfort of the passengers by ensuring that the restrooms are always clean & presentable. Will fly them again whenever I have the opportunity.
Cons: Can't say that I have ANY complaints at all!!

Pros: Awesome crew
Cons: Old seating

Pros: The cabin crew was so warm and friendly, always ready with a smile and eager to help.
Cons: Simply an older aircraft and the entertainment options were lacking compared to other carriers. The news video NHK would not fast forward or rewind but would always start over. Otherwise it was a good flight thanks

Pros: Friendly, helpful, attentive crew; good amount of storage in business class; very good food with an excellent variety.

Pros: Seating was fine
Cons: If flight cost less lol

Cons: my original connection time or lay by was reduced to 50min. Didn’t get an express passage through security check point and my gate on this fateful day was 58A the furthest away after security check - so a long run for me and just made it to the queue 10min to flight

Cons: Seat cushion could have been softer

Pros: The crew is amazing but that is to expect since it was a Japanese crew that operated from Narita.
Cons: The vegetarian food was terrible; unless they mistook my request and did a vegan option. The first meal was an o-k noodle stirfry type of thing but the breakfast was a porridge that had no flavor. Hopefully it was a misunderstanding but worth noting.

Pros: The entertainment options were great, the food was great, the staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: It took a while for them to serve the first meal and I don't know that there was a need for a second meal. I would have preferred to sleep.

Pros: Crew were super attentive. Friendly and helpful. Food was decent. Nice change from standard fare.
Cons: This seemed an older plane so the size of the economy class seating harkened back to the days when your legs were numb halfway through the flight.

Pros: The crew was not amazing and the plane was ok. Our flight to LAX NH106 was delayed 6 hours. We slept in the airline lounge and given minimal compensation.
Cons: Place the passengers in a hotel rather than have us us crammed in a lounge where you can hear angry passengers arguing.

Pros: It was a quick flight, and as it left at night Japan time, I was able to actually sleep 7 hours or so of the full flight.

Pros: Staff and crew were great. Very accommodating.
Cons: I unfortunately got placed in the middle of one large person and one person who had a strong body odor. Unfortunate but it happens.

Pros: Zero
Cons: Asked specifically at the ticketing counter not to be seated in a non-emergency row. Were seated in an emergency row. For a 12 hour flight with seats that don't recline and nothing the on-board staff could do about the ticket counter's negligence and bad faith other than apologize. Seated upright for an overnight flight (for the second time on the same trip) for 12 hours. Not a pleasant experience. Had a feeling ANA would be bush league. This trip confirmed those suspicions. It wasn't the crew's fault (though they, unfortunately bore the brunt of my displeasure) so much as the counter's fault, but airlines charging what they are shouldn't be putting passengers or crew in this position. The ticket counter folks literally mislead us. They specifically told us that these were not emergency row seats and that we would have reclining seats and seatback displays in front of us like everyone else. The entire reason I asked is because we got stuck in the last row on the way in with seats that don't recline, which blows for a 12 hour red-eye flight. Instead we got seats that did not recline and a fold out screen that came from the right-hand arm rest. Not the end of the world if one had no choice, but certainly not what I paid for and certainly not what the ticketing counter people stated we were getting (under specific inquiry about the very point). The ticketing counter in particular seems to be skeevy, at best. To the detriment of their own crew, who is left apologizing for things they can do nothing about. As stated, this is a bush league international carrier. Avoid unless you love sleepless nights crossing the international dateline...

Pros: Flight attendants were incredible!

Cons: Seats are almost impossible to sit comfortably for such a long flight. Not nearly enough legroom.

Pros: Ground staff and in-flight crew were excellent. The food was very good. The business class seat was comfortable.
Cons: Got flagged for secondary screening prior to boarding, although it probably wasn't ANA's decision. Video quality of the In-flight entertainment wasn't that great. The AC power plug could have been in a better spot. My power adapter would not fit.

Pros: Packed in like sardines with no ability to recline for a red eye flight of 10h was excruciating. Food was not good on this flight though the kids meal was a nice touch.
Cons: Seats, food

Pros: Everything
Cons: Everything the whole team was great.

Pros: Meals were decent. Staff friendly. Had no problems and was able to sleep a bit.
Cons: The economy seats on my plane were strange, they didn't really recline but rather the bottom part of the seat moves forward to make your body less vertical.

Pros: very clean over a 9 hr flight , great seat and flight attendant

Cons: The seats in economy are ok and not a good comfortable seat.. and needs improvement on food menu choices. But no problem boarding, the attendants are courteous and nice..

Pros: Been flying with ANA ever since I started living in Japan, and it has always been a pleasure. No complaints whatsoever.
Cons: No problems.

Pros: The crew is attentive and kind, the promptness is the airline, they aren’t afraid to serve you top notch food and dessert
Cons: The only thing that soured my trip was on the way back, it was a passenger who was just way overboard disgusting. First of all he takes off his shoes and then his socks and crosses his legs so his barefoot is right next to my tray table. Then he proceeds to unbutton his pants and unbuckle his belt. Reaches down into his nethers and takes a good whiff of his hand. This passenger continually kept encroaching into my seat, either sitting on a portion of my leg or putting his shoulder over my shoulder, even at one point used me as lean on. It was a 9 hour flight of misery... I was definitely uncomfortable for majority of that flight due to the passenger in 40A on flight NH176

Pros: This was my first time flying ANA (LAX to Haneda and back) and I have to admit it was surprisingly great. I am a pretty tall guy and found the room for my feet in economy to be more than adequate even though i found myself in a middle seat both flights. The flight attendants were extremely attentive, even as my flights were both overnight/red-eyes. The selection of movies available at each seat was pretty good and included your standard Hollywood stuff along with a decent selection of Japanese film, television, and various documentaries. Whether or not subtitles are available for non-Japanese speakers for Japanese language media was kind of hit and miss (I actually did browse around quite a bit), but I was impressed nonetheless. I would warn some western based travelers that they may not find the food to be all that appetizing. I chose the Japanese style option both flights (rice, miso, salad, fish), however I know that had I had any of my family members along for the flight they would have gone with the international option and they probably wouldn't have enjoyed it all that much.

Pros: The staff is very nice.
Cons: The exonomy seats.

Pros: I'm always in awe at how the crew operates, everything is tidy and the services are efficient and utmost hospitality. Look forward to flying with ANA again.

Pros: Friendly staff and great food. Cabin was spacious even for Economy.

Pros: Crews' performance was good.
Cons: Full capacity ! Because of CODE SHARING ? = One Airplane for 2-Airline's Customers.

Pros: The boarding process, on-time departure and in-flight service were all great and it has the on time arrival.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Movies
Cons: Food needs improvement

Pros: Enough room for relax, I love this one
Cons: none

Pros: Enough room for relax
Cons: none

Pros: Comfort... enough room for relax
Cons: none

Cons: Felt very cramped, seats very close together, headphone jack comes out of the side of the armrest, should come out the front of the armrest, I busted the ends off of two of my headphone cables.

Pros: Very nice flight attendants
Cons: Seats don't recline in economy section. Seat slides forward, but seat back is fixed. Very uncomfortable for 10 hour flight. Breakfast was very smelly

Pros: Service was nice way more room than American Delta or United for economy
Cons: None

Cons: No individual air conditioning. Centralized AC got hot. Old plane 777 Once I got to lax, there were no guide on getting to domestic connecting flight (united). After getting pampered with awesome ANA service, you get slapped with horrible united customer service.

Pros: Great service! Wonderful flight attendants, smooth flight and ice cream! Will always fly with ANA!

Pros: ANA airline was great! I love the service and the crew was very friendly, answers questions with a smile. I will definitely choose this airline for my travels, I know how they treat the coustomers.
Cons: NONE

Pros: Good staff, good service, good entertainment
Cons: Although my partner and I bought our tickets together and booked them almost 9 months in advance, we were not seated together, which made the flight more difficult and uncomfortable.

Pros: Good Business Class, will fly them again. Excellent service.
Cons: No meal served upon take off, snacks only.

Pros: I could upgrade my seat from a regular economy seat to a premium economy seat about 24 hours in advance. The flight attendants were generally attentive and thanks to the kindness of my ajacent passenger to my left, I could sometimes go to restrooms.
Cons: I usually take an aisle seat, but it was not available this time. Furthermore, my ajacent passenger to my right hand side had cold and often coughed and I myseld caught cold from him during this flight....

Pros: Crew was outstanding Food and service was excellent
Cons: Inflight entertainment was extremely limited. For a nine hour flight there was limited movies in English. Especially as we had seen most of the movies on the previous flight.

Pros: Crew is always awesome
Cons: Needed more Japanese movie options

Pros: Was able to request a gluten-free meal for the flight
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Crew services
Cons: Seat space, window side, especially foot area no space for my bag and legs

Cons: Person sitting next me passenger wanted fight with me. She told me this is her space arm rest I can not use for over 9 hours. She smelled alcohol and perfume. which made very uncomfortable bad bad

Pros: Very friendly and attentive service, good movie selection on new screens.
Cons: TSA-style pat-down at the gate in Narita before allowed to board.

Pros: I liked the friendly staff, the movie selection was also great!
Cons: The food wasn't great and they fed us as soon as we boarded and right before we landed. There was about 8 hours in between and we were starving!

Pros: I like the whole experience overall I would definitely Fly ANA again
Cons: I like the whole experience overall

Cons: Flight crew is great!

Pros: Amazing crew, Great flight.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.

Pros: Absolute epic flight in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis. Thank you all the crews. You’ve done amazing job!

Pros: Had a whole row to myself
Cons: Food wasn’t great

Pros: Good food. Very clean bathrooms. Great service

Pros: I really liked the food selection they provided in economy. Also enjoyed how they would time dinner and breakfast depending on our location. Left in the afternoon, had dinner while still in the Korean timezone. Snoozed for 7 or so hours and it was time for breakfast when we reached the pacific time zone. I especially enjoyed their in flight exercises before landing, it really felt great to get some proper circulation after sitting for a few hours.
Cons: While traveling on the long haul flights, I really liked flying on the Airbus; flight from Los Angeles to Seoul was initially on an Airbus, very modern with better screen and power outlets! My flight from Seoul to Los Angeles was on a Boeing which felt a bit older; entertainment screen was smaller and had a strange viewing angle (you have to adjust the tile until you get a clear view). While not really bad, I could've paid more attention to see if they inform which type of planes are being used during booking.

Pros: Crew was great. I have flown on Asiana a few times before and they are always good. The Korean meal is the best airplane food I have had.
Cons: More movie choices. Game choices and cartoon series for kids

Pros: The crew was great, food was great and the seats wider and comfortable !

Pros: Airplane and service
Cons: None. Maybe save money and ride first class

Pros: The price. Significantly cheaper than our normal ride on EVA through Taipei. Having said that...won't do it again.
Cons: We travel between the US and Asia a couple of times a year and normally fly on EVA, who has wonderful service and great food. We took Asiana this time because the ticket price was significantly less than EVA. Below are the reasons we won't do it again. 1. The food was awful. My wife had the Asian dishes and I had the Western dishes. Both were well below the quality of food we're used to on EVA. 2. Transit in Seoul. On the way to Bangkok from LA we had 50 minutes to transit Seoul to our next flight. The transit security line was quite long and it was obvious that we, along with a few dozen other passengers, weren't going to be able to make the connection. After much complaining from us and our fellow passengers they ran us through another security line. Rushed to the airplane and made it. On returning to LA from Bangkok it was exactly the opposite. The only option was nearly 8 hours connection in Seoul. But we had plenty of time to negotiate the transit security line. These connect times did not occur because of a last-minute ticket purchase. I purchased these tickets in July for a December/January flight to Bangkok and return. 3. Inflight service was not at the level of EVA. Like any other Asian carrier, the flight attendants were light years ahead of ANY US airline crew, but below the standard of EVA. Waking you up to eat a meal (I typically don't eat dinner at 1AM), etc. I was sleeping with my seat reclined and the flight attendant took it upon herself to upright my seat at meal time and woke me up, presumably so the person in the seat behind me was more comfortable with space to eat their meal, but hey...I purchased the seat to sleep just like the other passenger purchased the seat to eat, so I think I had just as much right to "my space and comfort" as the other passenger did. Just little stuff that doesn't happen on EVA. 4. Inflight entertainment is lacking as compared to EVA. Few movie and TV choices, few game choices. 5. We sat in economy. The seats were not very comfortable. Seems the cushions were thin and it became like sitting on plywood after a while. Legroom on the 747 flight wasn't so great, but there was plenty of legroom on the A380. The A380 seating was still kinda hard, but the legroom sure helped. 6. Boarding process. Poorly organized. Nobody pays a bit of attention to "boarding by row number". Consequently it's a bit of chaos during boarding. The old saying, "you get what you pay for" is true. For a flight of that length I won't choose to save the $200 or so per ticket and will ride on EVA. We've proven to ourselves that EVA is just pretty hard to beat.

Pros: Plane are clean
Cons: The food is really good

Pros: Asiana air is so nice, they give all customers slipper to feel comfortable on flight.
Cons: Food is just so so and they should give snack for long flights.

Pros:

Cons: I searched for business class trips on kayak, selected one and booked it through Kayak.com. When I checked in I found out I’d been the victim of a bait and switch and was actually on an economy ticket, but at $3500–a solidly business class fare. Lesson learned, never trust Kayak.com for the booking, the scoundrels.

Pros: Stewardesses were great!
Cons: Turbulence was horrible and couldn’t understand the captain’s English very well.

Pros: The attendants were very nice and the food and drinks service was good.
Cons: The seats are pretty uncomfortable.

Pros: Facial mask pack service

Pros: Flight was not over crowded. Got to rest. Crew very helpful and friendly
Cons: Food disappointing

Pros: Crew friendly and approachable.
Cons: Food was okay, but that crew should have condiments handy when requested and not have to go retrieve in pantry which takes some time

Pros: Some crew members were very kind and helpful.
Cons: This airline puts priority on Korean speaking men non Korean women with a helpless child. First of all, my child was too large for the bassinet so I held him the entire time. Fine, I get it's for safety. But to make matters worse, my child had a fever and cried out of discomfort for the first 3 hours of a 10 hour flight. A male passenger complained and instead of defending a mother and a helpless sick child, the flight crew kept insisting ways to make my baby stop crying. Do you think I wanted to hear my child in that much pain? No, of course not. One male crew member told me to take my child to the back of thr aircraft (away from the complaining man). Ummm... I paid for my seat just like everyone else!! To be treated differently just because my baby is crying is HORRIBLE. To top it off, the seats are the worst I've ever sat in. My back and butt were in so much pain from those horrible seats. Bottom line- I will NEVER fly with this airline again after the mistreatment my baby and I received. This airline puts Korean speaking men above anyone else's needs, including a helpless 14 month old who feels horrible and doesn't know how else to communicate pain. I'll add that we were on a 10 hour flight after a 9 hour layover in Incheon and a 4 hour plane ride that was DELAYED from 1:45AM to 3:45AM. We were extremely tired and had been through so much already. If the crew had been more protective of us and understanding to the fact that he's a BABY I would have let the complaints slide. Last note- this airline delayed us 3 separate times. Yes.. 3 separate occasions. Do I need to say anything more?

Pros: The exceptional service combined with the great food and cleanliness of the cabin was great.

Cons: For whatever reason they had me go to the end of the line even though my ticket was for business class. I wasn’t upset, byt just a little confused. Other than that everyone else was pretty polite.

Pros: They served grewl twice I thought I was getting grewl with road kill to eat
Cons: The food and seemed like one of the lady's working there did not like her job

Pros: leg room was better than most.
Cons: seat cushions were kinda hard

Pros: On time
Cons: The air was not pure it circulated and I got sick next time make sure the ac is working properly and there was no choice for food selection it the same during the entirety flight the flight attendants did not understand English I have to point or using signs language

Pros: The crew was wonderful, accommodating and pleasant throughout the long flight. Meals were delicious (drink selection even included complimentary red/white wine!), good selection of movies on private screens and packaged slippers, blankets and toothbrush/toothpaste were provided for everyone.
Cons: Seats should have more padding for the long flight.

Cons: Delay, delay, delay from boarding, taking off to baggage arrival. Staff wasn't too attentive to passengers considering all the delay for example, giving ample snack for the late dinner. The dinner was terrible, options were horrid for non Koreans. The chicken was pink w old texture. Quality of food was immensely poor for Asiana. The staff on our row weren't pleasant and consistently didn't serve water or any liquids during this long flight.

Pros: A380 service, well staffed. Comfortable lay flat seats in 1-2-1 upper deck configuration. Food was good and crew was very accomafstig on service timing. They went out of their way to meet customer desires to sleep first eat later!
Cons: English Movies consisted of only latest first run. No selection of Chinese language films (big china transit clientele) hardly any TV shows to browse from other than Korean

Pros: We really enjoyed the size and comfort of the Airbus 380. Very quiet and powerful as we crossed the Pacific Ocean. The crew were very helpful and always friendly throughout the entire 11 hours back home.

Pros: I am on the plus size and I always have a hard time choosing an airline that would be comfortable for my size. Its was my first time to fly with Asiana and I was so impressed with how generous their seat space is.
Cons: Food is not the great

Pros: Good attention
Cons: The flight from Korea to San Francisco was so late more than 2 hours

Cons: They changed our seat assignments, putting someone on the end of our row even though there were many other empty seats. As a result of the constriction, my feet and ankles swelled up. I can barely walk.

Pros: NA
Cons: NA

Pros: Good selection of in-flight movies. Liked the TV screens in the back of the seat in front of each passenger. Departure and arrival on time with no delays.
Cons: Excessive announcements in both Korean and English. Seats VERY uncomfortable. Flight attendants made everyone put down their window shades and did not give the option for people to make up their own minds. In flight meals, while hot and included in the ticket price, were not the greatest.

Pros: The staff was really friendly and kind, but people just on the plane in general were pretty bad. (Although a cute baby kept walking around and not sleeping almost the entire flight, I was just glad that I was going back home).
Cons: The people in the back of me was so rude, they did not let me put my seat back although the Asiana staff told me I could, but they just kept complaining.

Cons: 1. The stewards were not friendly, especially she kept on forgetting to give me food since I was unfortunately sitting by the window next to 2 big men in the middle and aisle seats. 2. In LA while getting my luggages from the caroussel, I asked the porters 3 times to help me lift, but they ignored me and just attended to the ones with wheelchairs. Even if I'm not in a wheelchair, I am a seniour, and there are aches already in my body here and there. So that day, my back was aching til the following day. Lesson learned, other airlines are much much better than Asiana when it comes to treatment given to seniours. My first time to try, maybe the last.

Pros: I usually fly Korean Air. This time I flew Asiana. The plane was clean and comfortable, the service friendly and good, the food way better than Korean Air, the entertainment system easy to use with many choices.
Cons: Everything was good.

Pros: I love the a380 airbus!!!! U also helped me with my knee needs...i needed to keep rt knee straight
Cons: Got sick from veg food

Cons: No good Korean movies to watch.

Pros: Crew is professional and courteous! I was sleeping when they came by with meal service and they left me a sticky note telling me to contact them for food when I woke up ( nice). Food pretty decent for airline food.

Cons: The flight was late more 2 hours. The beverage didn't deliver usually and enough.

Pros: Service is good
Cons: There is so much of delaying and layover

Cons: No vegetarian food.

Pros: Again, Asiana offers very good and efficient service for the money. Overall I would definitely fly them again and recommend them to anyone who asked.
Cons: My only complaint is that the cabin staff were often not visible for hours at a time. On my flight from LA to Seoul, the crew was constantly in the aisles offering water and juice without being summoned by passengers. There were a few times when I wished that someone would come by with water or juice, but didn't want to press the call button to get them. Lunch options as we neared LAX were both Asian style, and a middle-ground option would have been appreciated. On the outbound flight to Seoul we had breakfast options that included pancakes.

Pros: Clean bathroom, well maintain during flight unlike some airlines 5 stars for that
Cons: Chicken was grilled marked than steam result tuff rubbery. Hostess refused to exchange it with beef saying thete eas no more on the spot, not even asking others waitresses from different raw, while later on when everyone wad sleeping I went to asked for water and there you go. She ead eating the beef from economic class and a dish from first class. I always thought that customers are valuable because we pay their salaries?! Very desapointed from this hotess from the Philli. Who during the who flight treat me like dirt, maybe she hates Americain? Also most of movies are children oriented only a few for mature minds and they are over a year old. First time on Asiana and last time even been a star alliance member what a disappointment!

Pros: Crew members were helpful and nice.
Cons: 1.Flight Network said that the transaction was in US dollars. Therefore there shouldn't have been a currency exchange fee from my US bank. However, Flight Network charged Canadian dollars, so my US bank charged me a 3% exchange fee and the Canadian bank charged me another $8 fee resulting in a combined $32 extra to the price.of my ticket. Flight Network was not honest about the currency of the transaction. Kayak should require that Flight Network and any other vendors be honest about the currency of the transaction. 2. The extra 5 hours of layover at Incheon Airport was a total drag. It caused me to miss my connecting flight from LAX to Mexico City, so by the time I got into Mexico City there were no more buses running to Queretaro. I had to book a room in Mexico City at an additional expense and pay for taxi fare that I would not have needed if Asiana Airlines hadn't added 5 extra hours of layover to my trip.

Pros: Seating on that Airbus was very comfortable with a lot of leg room and we sat in economy class. Food also was excellent.

Pros: Clean and crew were excellent and responsive. Good communication and good choices of food. Economy seat seems to be wider and more comfortable than Air China which I flew last April. Also Incheon Airport WiFi was easy to connect compare to China airports.
Cons: My entertainment remote was broken already!

Pros: Overall, the long flights between the US and Korea were quite comfortable, the food was decent, and the crew was efficient.
Cons: The connecting flights, from Korea to Vietnam were not as comfortable (understandably as it was a smaller plane), and the food was close to inedible on the shorter flights. I'm not sure why the quality of good goes down so much on the shorter flights.

Pros: The planes took off and landed smoothly and without crashing
Cons: The connection time allowed in Istanbul was too short. Anything less than 2.5 hrs is too short. Covid social distancing was a joke in Istanbul and the business class boarded with everyone else - the airline run out of meals in business class!!! I will not fly with TK again.

Pros: Crew was amazing, very attentive to our needs flying with an infant.
Cons: Boarding process

Cons: Please improve food. Same cold sandwich was given again and again. There was no tea, coffee, cold drink, fruit or chocolates. The menu was very bad. We are disappointed with food.

Cons: Seats were torn and adjustments were malfunctional. No drinks were offered. Wifi did not work either.

Pros: Nothing. This was the worst flight I've been on in years.
Cons: The food was awful, the lounge was worse than the free ones, and the service was absolutely the worst I've experienced in years.

Pros: The crew were super patient there was a traveller was so irritating kept complaining about everything and ,moving from one seat to another even insulting the crew but they never lost their cool I thought that was wonderful .i learnt something.
Cons: If a tooth paste and brush was provided in the little pack it would have made life better.

Cons: Better food options but that’s for all airlines!

Cons: Little more comfortable seats. However, allowing to check in two bags free of extra cost is great!

Pros: I like everything about this airline... from the ticket prices, to their membership in Star Alliance, to their awesome customer service.

Pros: Amazing
Cons: Yes amazing

Pros: Food service and choice of meals was good. Nice movie and Show selection.
Cons: The aircraft was dirty the bathroom was not up kept. The boarding process was horrible considering I’ve flown with Turkish Airlines before. The seat was extremely uncomfortable and the passengers were kicking the chair behind me and in front of me the entire time:/ The plane got really cold towards the end of the flight! The crew seemed irritated and we’re talking in the back quite a bit when we needed assistance. I was disappointed with this flight to be honest !

Pros: Entertainment package
Cons: I paid extra money for the upgrade to sit the exit but only to be told after boarding that due to my size and age that I can’t sit on the exit aisle. Then I said okay, I’ll move if I get a refund and the the flight attendant said that they will. So then I swapped to a middle seat by the attendants directive all the way in the back. After the plane takes off, the flight attendant said that can not refund me the upgrade. I was extremely frustrated and felt discriminated because of my age and size. I demanded to sit back to my original assigned seat but they refused. Not to mention, the flight was delayed!! Unpleasant experience and a rip off.

Pros: Excellent Staff very courteous and professional 5 star +
Cons: The Internet is complicated and not working all the time. Business class seats are dated need to be upgraded, comparing to other airlines.

Pros: The transfer gates are always further away and there is no staff at the gates to help you. It's always a mad dash to catch your connecting flight. Turkish airport should consider transferring passengers with close connections through a faster line. Also, the security screening between flights doesn't offer any priority for passengers with tight connections

Pros: Only two thing. The bathrooms and the intertainment
Cons: Seats are very compacted, lack of space and so close to reduced leg room resulting an agonizing experience to a new level of torture, unnacceptable on 14 hrs of imtercontinental flight. One word “horrid”

Pros: The food was good and the entertainment was fine.
Cons: After missing our connecting flight in Istanbul on our Turkish Airlines flight on January 9th from LAX-Addis Ababa (due to a nearly 45 minute delayed flight), my sister and I had to spend 24 hours in Istanbul and still pay for a night in our 4 star hotel in Addis, despite the fact that we weren't there. So, in preparation for our flight back to LAX, I spent hours on the phone with a Turkish Airlines representative to ensure that we would not miss our connecting flight on the way back to LAX on January 29 (Jomo Kenyatta-IST-LAX). The TA representative spoke very little English and became incredibly frustrated with me when I expressed my concern about how closely scheduled our connecting flights in Istanbul were. The representative said she could "help us" by seating us at the back of the plane from Jomo Kenyatta-IST, as she was "mostly sure" that our plane would deboard from the back of the plane once we arrived in Istanbul and, in theory, we wouldn't have to wait behind all the other customers to exit. This was totally incorrect: our plane only deboarded from the front exit door and the seats she selected at the back would surely have caused us to miss our next flight were it not for the fact that the plane wasn't full and we arrived only a few minutes late. Still, by the time we got off the plane in IST, our connecting flight was already 15 minutes into boarding. We showed the TA attendants our boarding passes at the long security line, and at first they both said, "don't worry, it will be fine". I had to convince them to let us skip the line as we would clearly have missed our flight. Once we finally made it through security we ran through the ENTIRE Istanbul airport to get to our gate, as we could hear them calling the final boarding call for our flight to LAX. We literally ran as fast as we could for almost 20 minutes straight, with all of our bags, which ended up being over a mile, I would guess. When we got to our gate, we had to go through yet another security line - WHY??? Apparently there was a celebrity in front of us, and while we were sweating and nervous about missing our flight, the security agents were taking selfies with the celebrity. It was insulting and rude and totally unprofessional. The take away for me is that Turkish Airlines should NOT be allowed to sell flights to people that give them less than an hour to make international connecting, especially in an airport as large and disorganized as Istanbul, and especially when Turkish Airlines flights are often late or delayed. This was one of the most stressful flying experiences of my life.

Pros: The crew is always very friendly and helpful. Plenty of space in the overhead bins. Food is very delicious and you can always get either one of the options, whereas, in other airlines, you have to settle for the least favorite one if your seat is closer to the tail. They have sandwiches and cakes available during the whole flight.
Cons: The seats are cramped just like any other airline.

Pros: All was perfect
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Service and food is good, crew is helpful
Cons: Seats would have been sufficient for a one hour flight but not for 13 hrs. I am 5.11. not enough leg room and not wide enough.

Cons: our luggages were left in instanbul so when we arrived in kenya we waited for long before being told our bags were left in instanbul, were had to come next day to collect, stressful experience because we were staying like 80 miles away

Pros: When I missed my flight from Belgrade to Istanbul due to plane being late 45 min.and I missed my flight to LA, they gave me a free accommodation and meals.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that nobody told me that Ataturk Airport in Istanbul is so big that you can not make to connect flight on time for an hour.Especially if you flight has been late to depart like mine from Belgrade due to the rain. I thought I will make it to the connect flight to LA but the gate was already closed. I was instructed to do multiple errands, to get Turkish visa, etc all on my expense to be able to exit the transit as an American citizen and be able to take Turkish airlines bus to the hotel. The hotel was fine and the meals. The problem was that they calculate bus traveling time wrong in the hotel and put people on the bus next day too late, so due to the traffic jam, we barely made it to the airport, and then we had to stress the officials to put us on the fast passport control lane due to boarding time.

Cons: More service with flight attendants walking around to offer drinks would have been better

Pros: friendly service, excellent crew, comfortable seats Actually it was my daughter recommendation to fly Turkish Airlines as she flies it almost exclusively We love Turkish Airlines As for Istanbul airport, I had an excellent experience while transiting. Well equipped, clean, nice restaurants and food Good experience overall I loved my flight
Cons: turbulence throughout but this is beyond your control I know, we just had nasty weather not on our way from Los Angeles to Istanbul though

Pros: Eat fare , amazing customer services . Turkish airlines s pretty good. And affordable ..
Cons: Nothing , it was all good

Pros: The comfort of the seats, entertainment, & food were great as always. The only Turkish Airlines flight I had during this trip that was not delayed, however needed to be due to the previous flight. The crew did hold the flight for all of us from the delayed flight from Athens.
Cons: An elderly woman was booked in a window seat and she insisted she take my aisle seat without any additional available aisle seats. However, this would be better handled when she requested for assistance during her booking process. The crew should've anticipate her needs and booked an aisle seat, or even be the ones to ask me or another passenger if I would be willing to trade. I was placed on the spot and no courtesy was shown to me. My legs were completely swollen and in pain because I wasn't able to stand periodically. I too booked my flight early and requested my seats appropriately for my health needs.

Cons: You had a very disrespectful, illogical, anal retentive person at the ticket gate just before getting on the shuttle. She would not allow us to wait for the rest of our party of 2 to go on the shuttle to the plane together. They were delayed because of your personal continually bringing other people to cut in line in front of them. There was plenty of time and the shuttle was already full, and we wanted to wait for the next shuttle to board the airplane together. She came out several times from inside of the building shouting at the three of us to get on the shuttle even when the person managing the shuttle flow at the bottom of the stairs was about to let us wait for the next shuttle. What was her problem(?) - she could use a lot more people skills and realize who pays her salary - the customers. She really tarnished the whole image and impression I originally had of TA. Also, there was no way to go to the bathroom without going through a long line of security again at the last gate before the shuttle which did not make sense.

Pros: The flight was great and the service was wonderful. The plane was new and clean. A huge plus was the video entertainment in every seat along with headphones and USB Charging Port. They poured me a double Glenlivet scotch on the rocks at NO CHARGE!
Cons: I booked three round-trip tickets from LAX to Athens. Our daughter did not fly with us there but we checked with ticketing in LAX and they booked her seat anyway. The issue came when we tried to leave Athens the airlines then said that I had to purchase a one-way ticket! They informed me that the flight was cancelled for my daughter because she didn't fly to Athens. The ticket was almost $1,500.00 and I intend to get my money back but it was unfortunate that they had to charge me for it in the first place.

Pros: Free movies that are current, Free food/drinks/alcohol, Pillow, blanket, eye blinds, slippers, socks. The flight was 12+ hours long, and the ability to watch movies, tv shows, play games, listen to music on the large pad in each seat was pretty amazing. Free over the ear headphones... Very amazing flight
Cons: Bathrooms were a bit dirty...but there was a lot of people on the flight and they didn't start dirty.

Pros: Nothing in particular
Cons: The food service was really bad. Not happy with the meal choice.

Cons: My luggage just disappeared on my second leg to Istanbul. 2 email notifications that luggage was not found. Wrong contact phone number at initial report and was not addressed despite report and upload. Also a representative emailed that luggage was erroneously recorded as "delivered" which is not true. I still don't have my luggage after 14 days. No further responses despite extensive documentation and receipts. This is bad!!!

Cons: The flight was cancelled due to weather conditions, that's fine! I never found out till I had to contact the airlines and verify of this piece of information after I heard it from news. Kayak never notified me, nor offered any alternatives!! Poor service!

Pros: Service by the onboard crew was flawless. Food was excellent, and fully reclining seats in Business Class made a 13+ hour flight very comfortable.

Pros: Crew and entertainment were okay.
Cons: Less than 20 minutes to catch this plane because of delays. The flight was longer than scheduled because of delays on the airline side and US customs limited processing capability. I felt really tired when I got out of LAX.

Cons: Our flight was LAX > Istanbul > Oman The connection in Istanbul was canceled. The transfer desk was very overwhelmed by the volume of customers. After 3 hours of waiting I finally got someone to get us on a flight to Qatar and then to our final destination Oman. That person then left work before printing the tickets and I had to start all over again. It was a very stressful and tiring ordeal and cost us an entire day of our vacation.

Cons: The flight from Los angeles was 3 hours late when I got to Instanbul Turkey was nobody there to help us I lost my flight and they lie to us about available flights I ask them to speak to a supervisor they told me the only Supervisor was outside the airport they wanted me to pay $30 for a visa and go through customs was the first time I flew Turkish airways and will be the last one

Pros: Everything was good except the airplane.. i was on row 13 and the cabinet was warm and air-condition was not working fine.. i reported this ti the flight attendant. She confirmed the temp was set to 23 C however it was definitely not less that 26C .. also it took long time to serve the hot meal although we were on rhe plane and the flight depart8 got delayed for 90 minutes due to technical problem. On the other hand, seat were comfortable and flight attendants were so nice and friendly.. also Turkish lounge and airport were good

Pros: One stewardess was very helpful, even though she could not speak English.
Cons: 13 1/2 hour flight three rows from the rear of the plane. I feel and smell like a sardine. The food was horrid. I tasted it, but thought best of eating it for fear of food poisoning. It also looked disgusting. Couldn't understand any of the announcements.

Pros: Decent entertainment system, reasonably priced in-flight wifi, decent food and friendly accommodating staff.
Cons: Boarding process can be a bit chaotic, but they do well to organize it by groups or seats/rows, so still miles better than any US carrier.

Pros: Crew was helpful
Cons: Not having extra legroom is one thing but not having enough space to fit ones leg reminded me of the slave ships where slaves were placed so tight that they did not have any moving space. I am not even a tall guy - just 5'10". It was bad especially when one travels internationally for 14 hours non-stop. There should be some federal regulation regarding this.

Cons: I like it everything. Turkish airline was great flight with great food and great service during the flight , great way to flight , thumbs up Turkish airline !!!

Pros: Leg rooms are much smaller compare to other airlines.

Pros: Food was ok Service in plane was good
Cons: My chair would not recline easily. This happened twice now on Turkish airlines No wifi---not good Ticket counter attendant at airport check in should be more customer friendly Large groups and families check in at ticket counter should be different than that of one or two people check in Air hostesses in the plane seems too serious I did not like the screen setup on the tv

Pros: Two really good meals and there were snacks in the back for the time inbetween. The crew was friendly. This was the best flight I've experienced in a few years.
Cons: Too little leg room. My knees touched the seat in front.

Pros: Very bad experience i have to think twice before I book airfare now !!
Cons: They need to have emergency back up plans for the passengers who is stuck in the airport it must be international law!

Pros: Movies!
Cons: This is one of the worst airlines I have flown with. I travel internationally frequently, I had used Turkish Airlines on a domestic flight in Turkey back in the 90's. It was a decent experience. So I decided to book my flight to Athens with Turkish Airlines. I bought a nonstop flight from LAX to with one and a half hour layover in Istanbul and then flying to Athens on the same day. I was assigned bulkhead seats on the way over. On the day of the Parcher at the Turkish airline counter in LAX I was informed that my seat assignments were changed. The agent could not/ would not give me a satisfactory answer as to why! During the course of the same conversation I was also informed that my layover Istanbul is not 1 1/2 hours, instead it is seven hours and I will be flying out to Athens The following day. My flight was randomly changed to a later flight without my knowledge! After a long wait at the ticketing counter, the manager switched us back to the original itinerary. Sadly it doesn't end here. The take off was about an hour and a half delayed. This was about exactly the same amount of time I had as layover Istanbul airport. I asked several flight attendants about how will Turkish Airlines will handle this delay as my connection to Athens was in jeopardy. Again not one flight attendant could give me a straight answer. Some said "well hopefully you will make it to the next flight". One said "the pilot we will make up for the lost time". I also noticed that my original bulkhead seat assignments were given to three ladies who were friends of a first class flight attendant! it was really annoying to watch the flight attendant bring them treats from the first class kitchen area. It was clear that our seats were intentionally switched as a special favor. Long story short, upon arrival we were told that the our connecting flight is at gate 501 only to find out there was no plane at the gate!! We never found out what happened to our original connection to Athens, but we ended up waiting an additional 5 1/2 hours in the airport for then next day flight. No explanation given, no accommodations provided, no apologies!

Pros: I liked the fact that they gave us two meals and offered drinks three times. I have gone on a different airline that charged for everything and wouldn't even sell water.
Cons: The main dishes were okay and so were the desserts. For some reason the side dishes were weird and didn't taste as well.

Pros: We had a connecting flight in Instanbul, Turkey, and a representative met us at our arrival gate from Rome and walked us through security and to our connecting flight to LAX. I thought that was great because we would've been completely lost if we had to do it on our own. Security check in was thorough. We had to go through security screening AGAIN (already did it in Rome and had to throw away our waters purchased in the airport), and two different lines for passport check. My husband had to go through a third security line because he had a carry-on. Boarding was well organized with passengers lining up by their boarding letter - no crowding - and people sitting at the back of the plane boarded first (after 1st class). The flight itself was great. The food was delicious. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. They gave us a water bottle, lots of current and blockbuster movies to choose from. They provided pillows, blankets, and earphones at no extra charge. Would definitely fly again.
Cons: The seats were a little tight. They woke us when it was time to eat. Not sure why they didn't just let us sleep, and then give us our food when we woke up. Not really a big deal since I wanted to stay awake on the flight home, but I may have wanted to sleep.

Pros: The entire experience was great, good meals, great entertainment system, wifi on board, great attention.
Cons: The seats are not the most comfortable for such a long flight. My seat would not recline which made the super long flight feel even longer.

Pros: Direct flight is good. Dinner was good.
Cons: Food for dinner was good but lunch was not not great. Crew was very unfriendly to especially Turkish passengers. Short answer for questions and no smile at all especially the ones on our side.

Cons: The plane didn’t have water in the bathrooms in the back of the plane so we had to use wet wipes to clean our hands afterwards. Entertainment system was slow. No complementary meals offered even though it was an international flight.

Cons: if the Monitor would work and not 1 hr late

Pros: Price
Cons: Connection time in Vancouver is horrible and international transfer process is awful Especially with small children

Cons: One of my checked baggage was lost.

Pros: I liked that they served three meals - one hot lunch, one sandwich, and one breakfast. Also that they frequently came through with water refills. Very good entertainment system, although it was off for rebooting for about the first 30 minutes in the air. French red wine blend was excellent. They seem to always have French wines.
Cons: Attendants restocked the bathrooms, but didn't seem to clean them much (sticky floors - yuk). Wish they had some English newspapers on board to read. The food was only fair.

Pros: The on board crew were pleasant for the most part. It was a full flight so they were also working hard. Check-in was easy, and the gate area had plenty of space to wait to board. We did get some sort of unspecific voucher for something for the entertainment system not working... have to log onto their site to even find out what it's for.
Cons: Entertainment system didn't work, so luckily we had loaded up devices with stuff for the kids. We were hopeful that my son could watch a couple of movies, but they tried to reset it... at least we got a voucher. One seat back was missing the USB outlet and one didn't work in our row of three. Regular power (of which there are two... why don't the window seat get one?) was half working... so luckily everything was charged. The gate agent threatened to boot anyone off the plane to the next day if you tried to board before your zone was called... that seemed questionable.

Cons: My 5-hour flight was delayed 5 hours. Missed all my scheduled events. I had planned for up to 3 hours of issues (delays, traffic, luggage issues, etc.) and it was still not enough to allow me to make my meeting on time. Additionally, the in-flight entertainment system linked to my seat was defective and only provided sound in one ear.

Cons: I never got on that flight because the flight from Montreal to Toronto was delayed so I would have missed the connection. The flight from Montreal was late. I showed up a the airport three times before I got on a plane. Air Canada asked me to check in online but the system didn't work. Because of the storm, Air Canada couldn't even place me on hold so I had to go to the airport earlier in the day. When I complained about not being able to check in online, they asked gaslighted me and kept repeating that their system was "a great product" and that there was no way it didn't work. One person finally told me that it was because I had a pet in cabin. I could have saved a lot of frustration if someone had told me that. I also think that for a flight that left late and caused me to change plans and leave on a different day with another delayed flight because of the luggage conveyor belt that didn't work - which paralyzed an entire airport - they could have offered us a complimentary meal on the plane.

Pros: the best ever the asian male steward was excellent he made my 12 year old girl happy and special by treating her with efficient service when she ordered food and kind words

Pros: The crew was so nice and helpful. They are all wonderful people at LAX and Regina, SK.
Cons: The plane was hot and cramped. The air didn’t work right causing the flight to be warm and sweaty. My tray table was broken and wasn’t able to hold food and drinks flatly.

Pros: The plane was quite new, and that's pretty much it.
Cons: The food is unsuitable for human consumption and so as some of the crew were unsuitable for the position.

Cons: The attendant’s name is Karen. She first caught my attention was the way she talked to the passengers. She was like a parent or a teacher telling her kids to share but not solving their problem over the head bin. Then before we were landing, the passenger next to me asked for her help to put her bag into the head bin because she’s not tall enough. Karen said she’s doing security check and never came back. I managed to help my neighbor passenger before landing and was very impressed to this flight attendant.

Pros: The fly attendants were very nice. The plane is old. The overhead storage is so small that it was hard to fit in carry on luggage's.

Pros: I have never flown Air Canada before and it was one of the best airlines I have ever flown! Entertainment was great! The outlets were clutch. I got a sandwich and it was really delicious !
Cons: I didn't find anything I didn't like!

Cons: This review is about Air Canada from Los Angeles to Vancouver. Our flight was cancelled the flight for technical reason, without a notice. We found out when we got to the airport with four children. We were put on a later flight that also left Los Angeles later than the scheduled time. We arrived to Vancouver so late that we could not make the latest BC Ferry to Victoria that left at 9:00 pm. We lost our hotel reservation in Victoria. We were stranded in Vancouver till we could find a hotel that cost us an extra $600 (US dollars), an extra reservation for the ferry and lost a precious half a day of our vacation. When we complained about this wasted time and money Air Canada did not utter not even a clear simple apology. It offered a lousy discount on our next flight with the company, believing that we may ever use such an uncaring company

Pros: That even though there is a delay, we still made it around the same time
Cons: That there was a delay in the first place

Pros: Good leg room in coach
Cons: Flight was late leaving, the boarding process was messed up and could not understand the person doing the announcements (was speaking too fast)...

Cons: Delayed by 2 hours, half and hour in the airport and another 1.5 hours on the tarmac (probably why I got sick just days after, sitting in the germ tube for that long) Seat did not recline, but was supposed to... No pretzels or peanuts offered like other airlines, just drinks Missed my connecting flight in LAX because of delay, but not after running frantically to my gate clear on the other side of LAX, customer service offered nothing to compensate for the flight we had just missed or any solutions for getting us home.

Pros: Pilot kept us up to date and apologized.
Cons: Other passengers could not make it through customs to the gate and needed to have their luggage removed from the plane. This delayed us and started a chain reaction that made us exit the plane 2 hours late.

Pros: friendly pilot
Cons: Delayed 25 minutes, and threatened to fly without 15 passengers due to strong headwinds and need to reduce weight. Never heard that one before.

Cons: After making if through a very busy customs and security line i make it to my gate only to find out that they lost my bag and they can't let me on my flight. I have been waiting in line for 3 hours to know what they are going to do to fix it and i'm still waiting.... i have flown with them before and it was fine but this is just ridiculous.

Pros: The flight itself was comfortable.
Cons: The flight came in 20 minutes late, and managed to leave 1 hour late -- I've never before seen a flight become even MORE late because of the boarding agent. There was no communication whatsoever. There was only one agent working the gate. When it was time for passengers who needed help boarding, he took them back one at a time, leaving the gate completely unstaffed. When he came back, he strolled like there was no urgency whatsoever. Every other airline I'm on tries to speed up boarding if the plane is already late. I was amazed that they didn't even add a second agent to the gate.

Pros: The plane was on time, boarding was orderly and smooth, service was excellent, and they did a good job on the weather. As a pilot, I would rate it an all around excellent flight.

Cons: flight attendant burned my stomach and belly ,she fck lazy gave me and put a broken cup of hot tea into another good cup instead of threw that broken cup away and should give me only one good tea cup , so the fluid drained out between two cup, and fck burned me . How the stupid she is !!! After that they didn't come to ask me anything until i come to show them and complained , and requested a report. I got a picture and all evidence to show .i swore that its fck hot and burned me too...ooo....bad !!

Cons: Air Canada failed to transfer my bag from flight 1 to connecting flight 2. This not only happened to me but to other people traveling on the same connecting flight as well. My bag was delivered later then the promised time, it was also returned damaged. It is now almost one week since I have taken my flight and I am unable to process a claim because they have not updated my file via their Bag Tracer program. It is clear that they still have a lot of work to do to be considered a real commercial air line company

Cons: Air canada canceled the direct flight from Calgary to LA as I booked. The replaced flight is indirect one via veccover. I end up needed get up in dark driving from lake Louise to Calgary to catch the flight and got home after 13 hours in total. The reason of the calculation was no enough customer and there was no compensation being offered.

Pros: Nice plane on short flight. Why can't they use the nice planes on the long haul flights?

Cons: We sat in the back rows of the plane so it was hours before we were even offered water and by the time they finally got to us there was no food to PURCHASE. Bad enough we were not fed on this long flight but there wasn't even anything to purchase. By the time they FINALLY got to us to provide us something to drink, they came through wanting to take it from us. I was VERY disappointed with this leg of the trip as it was not at all what we have experienced on the first leg of this very long day of flying. There was no time between transfers to use the restroom, let alone buy food, had we known.

Cons: Air Canada has to know that generally, the flight from Toronto to LA would be bumpy. Even if they did not know, the weather forecast can tell them that. Problem is that they always SELL the food first, before serving the customers the much needed drinks for hydration. That is a pathetic service attitude. "We will sell first, and only if time left, we will serve free drinks." That stinks!! I even saw them some kids, who wanted to get to their seat (from bathroom trip), sending to wait near bathroom because the food cart they were selling from was in the way. This kind of customer hostility to kids is unforeseen.

Pros: They didnt loose my luggage this time.
Cons: do your self a favor and find a different airline. When i got home and talked to others about my travels the said " what did you expect, i wont fly air canada" I wish i would have know before i booked my flight.

Pros: Boarding was relatively painless. Flight was on time. What i didnt like was the crew. The flight from Toronto to Los Angeles was five hours. They had the fasten seat belts light on the entire trip because they said the turbulence was bad. I have been on alot of flights and let me tell you that the turbulence was not bad at all. After three hours prople decided enough was enough and started going to the restroom. The crew would get all bent out of shape and get on the PA yo please stay in your seats and not use the restrooms at this time. Really!! Well that didnt happen. The only thing they give you is one free drink. No penuts, cookies or pretzels. If you want food you have to pay for it. I sat by the window and my window was all greasy. I couldent really see out of it. I did use the rest room and it was pretty clean.
Cons: Flight was on time and the restroom was clean

Pros: The flight was pretty good. The flight attendants were very nice. The seats are pretty roomy and Im about 6'3. The seat backs have a nice screen and a usb port as well as a standard electrical plug.
Cons: Checking in was terrible there and back. On the way to vancouver we showed up 2 hours early but the computers went out about 20 minutes after we arrived and stayed off till after our flight. No apologies, no responsibilities taken. That day was part of our small vacation. We got put on standby for the next flight 7 hours later. My family layed around the terminal without 100% surety that we'd get the next flight. We did but they split us up. I switched seats with someone and we all sat in the very rear seat of the plane, which was hard on my long legs and just added to a terrible experience. Ruined a whole day of vacation. Coming back the check in was just rudeness. A stark difference from the flight itself.

Pros: Customer service was bad. I had to wait long line to check in bags. they took like 20 minutes to handle one transaction. I had to line up some where else to pay cash for my baggage after I checked in my bags. When I lined up somewhere else, a lady told me her computer was down and her printer was not working and told me to go to the next line. I lined up and waited for 20 minutes on the next line. after she finished, she told me to wait for one minute. I told her i can't wait or i would be late for the flight. she helped me and when i realized if i lined at immigration i would miss the flight. i was smart enough to ask for passengers in front of the line to let me cut. i was lucky enough they let me and i made it through.

Pros: The crew was friendly.
Cons: I hate the new policy where you have to pay extra to reserve any seat whatsoever. I got stuck in the emergency exit row, with no right arm rest, which made the flight very uncomfortable. My earbuds supplied by air canada were of the poorest quality, and I could barely hear the movie. Finally, when it was time to order food, there were hot meals listed on the menu, but the flight crew had to check to see if they were available.

Pros: Nothing fantastic but it was a good flight even after being delayed a while. Our plane had something wrong so they took us off the plane and we had to wait until they found a new plane for us, thank goodness we were in Canada at the hub where there must've been extra planes.
Cons: I could not understand one word the stewardess said. I'm not sure if it was an accent thing or a speak too fast too close to the microphone thing but had it been an important message I wouldn't have made it. The music on the entertainment

Pros: There was a decent selection of in flight movies
Cons: -the aux plug for the headphones wasn't working properly. Resulting in me having to hold the headphones in place the entire flight -the first time the attendant went by with the food selections for purchase she walked right past me and went on to run out of food by the time I finally got her attention. -I had to ask the people behind me several times to please stop their child from kicking the back of my seat. Although the attendant made eye contact me one of the times she made no intervention on my behalf. - my return flight was in short: neglectful and arduous. I probably wouldn't recommend Air Canada after a flight like that.

Pros: Clean aircraft.
Cons: Seats being marked @ $ 16 and $42 upto 24 hours before flight

Pros: Safe landing, excellent flight steward.
Cons: We checked in 2.5 hrs before our flight but this was not early enough to guarantee our seats, and we were put on standby. That was a bummer. I still have this old-fashioned notion that paying in full for the seat was the guarantee for the seats. The A/C was broken during initial taxi and takeoff. The flight was delayed 30 minutes.

Pros: Crew was nice
Cons: Air Canada lost my luggage, didn't get it back for about a week after I came home.

Pros: Good movie selections and a personal screen as opposed to needing to use a personal device.
Cons: It was much warmer in the middle of the plane than towards the front of the plane. I had requested the assistance of the crew several times by pushing the button [which lit up the light above my seat] but there was never a response. Only when they passed by my seat would I be able to get their attention by flagging them down. My seat was broken and trouble shooting was not an option for the crew.

Pros: We arrived nearly on time.
Cons: They changed our gate three times and boarding was inefficient (it took them almost an hour to load a small plane) and led to a late takeoff. The customs process was ridiculous. Crew did not seem to care. No food was provided on a 6 hour flight that boarded at 6pm. Most people would not have thought that they needed to eat dinner before the flight. You had the option of purchasing snacks. The people in the rear of the plan did not receive the honor of buying snacks (or even getting a cup of water) until 3 or 4 hours into the flight. Uncomfortable seats. Avoid Air Canada until they get their act together or they lower their prices to reflect their new status as a discount airline.

Pros: Safe and on time. I liked the opportunity to check in my carry on luggage.
Cons: TV's did not work and the flight attendant bumped into me every time she walked down the aisle. Earphone plugs did not function properly. Outlet to charge my phone was missing.

Pros: I liked coming back home on time as scheduled.
Cons: My flight to Vancouver was delayed and i was not even notified by email or any means. I arrived there very late and it cost me money when I had planned to take the train which was no longer running when I got there!

Cons: Not serving a meal on a 5 1/2 hour transcontinental flight is unacceptable. Just because you can get away with it doesn't make it good policy.

Pros: Despite departing late we made it relatively on time
Cons: My screen didn't work. The outlet in the seat was also broken. The connection to the Internet was weak and there was a lot of turbulence.

Pros: Nothing. The experience was a headache.
Cons: Layover that was booked through KAYAK was already 9 hours long. I was fine and willing to accept that for the lower cost. Flight then gets delayed from 8:00 to 9:00 PM, okay, that's fine. Then flight gets delayed from 9:00 to 12:00. This forces me to miss my hotel reservation in LAX, This was one of the worst flying experiences I've ever dealt with. Then the airline doesn't even have the decency to give me a pillow because I was sitting in coach. If this is what airlines are becoming, i can't wait for the hyperloop one to force them into bankruptcy. The lack of respect for their paying customers is asinine.

Pros: I had a wonderful experience with the crew on broad. The pilot was amazing. The cabin Attendent in first class was very lovely and sweet. She was the reason for my nice experience since I had a horrible time with the gate staff.
Cons: I had a horrible time with the gate staff. They made me check my bag at the gate even though it fits in the overhead bin. I did three flight with air canada prior to this flight with the same carryon. I didn't appreciate the ladies attitude. She said I don't care who or what class you fly so took my roller and tagged it. Then she let the guy next to me get on with his bigger roller only because he was first class. I had to upgrade myself to first class to keep my roller on me. I had things that I couldn't part from my carry on. Cost me $500 US dollar and then she said to me. What ever thrills you. Wow. I am star alliance gold with two airlines and I have never ever been treated this way ever. I will never take air canada ever again. The 1800 customer service isn't any better.

Cons: Entertainment system was not working and in one of our seats the Audio was not working

Pros: No food offered on a 6 hour flight, but nice flight crew and good entertainment system.

Pros: The service was friendly, eventhough I was forced to check in my carry on.
Cons: I checked in 5hrs early to find out that I had to check in my carry on. To my disappointment, as I finally boarded, I noticed that LOTS of people had carry ons that were either the same size or larger. As we landed, the passenger next to asked me to help take her carry on down from the top storage area (as it was extremely heavy). Her bag could've been 50lbs! The plane was over burdened with people's carry ons. What disappoints me the most is that I checked in early, but my carry on did not make it aboard the plane while other people's carry on did!
