Cons: "Although my wife and I booked our flight together we did not get to sit together. My wife paid for the $54 upgrade but the only benefit was she could bring a checked bag. We both got middle seats not near each other. I believe she should have gotten a better seat with her upgrade but that was not the case. Normally jet blue is great. I have had them get my family seats together even when we didn’t book together. At that time they surprised me at how customer oriented they were and I gave an excellent rating. This time was very disappointing. We paid for the upgrade but got limited benefits. I am surprised at the difference in customer care in just a few months."

I used to book JetBlue only bexause.tbus is the only airline that offers TV service and but it's time has changed and service has degraded as it seems. I would recommend to fix the TV and or at least put bigger screen. I fly from India to Dubai that is same flight time and they offer same service that they offer in their emrites double floor plane except smaller screen but same function. I am disappointed with the entertainment service and going forward I would not be willing to go with JetBlue unless I don't have any choice. Thanks Neo"

Cons: "One of the main reasons why I chose Jetblue its because it is an ALMOST 4-5 star experience with great affordable ticket prices. Unfortunaltelly the ALMOST it is so, due such an important role such a host/hostess at the airport representing so poorly the company, EVERY TIME I leave from fortlauderdale airport. Once the check-in kiosk fails to complete to check you in (and I am ok with machines poor work) you are directed to a crew members in the counters. A host/hostess from jetblue standing in front of the counters, instead of greet you properly or showing some sort of degree of willingness to welcome you or help you tell you "yes, what do you need... ? That never fails! It feels like you are breaking in into a zone you are not suppose to be, and annoyingly you are disturbing these people. It so confusing why they have those attitudes, specially at that position, where you really need to clear up the bad weed in choosing your personnel. I think these few"crew members" can make a smooth transition to nightclub bouncers, where I'm sure will be a great fit."

Cons: "Only 1 flight per day to from Austin, Tx. Our 4:11 pm flight on Monday, Oct 9th was delayed 2 houra bc of weather in NY. That was understandable. However, our flight was delayed another 4 hours bc of no gate, held up earlier flight to Boston bc of late passenger and countless other issues. Such as maintence, rebooting plane systems, etc. Employees were clues and every employee gave different explanations. Once we boarded the flight crew was nasty and rude. Lastly, after boarding we were held at gate for another half hour before taking off. This was first time in many years i flew on jetblue bc i switched to american post jetblue tarmac nightmare. I will never fly jetblue again ever."

Jet Blue claimed they could not put me on the next flight because it was full and was on another airline. They put me in a hotel for the remainder of the night , all the next day and the following night. I had paid for a 4 day vacation at a resort in Argentina so my 4 day stay became a 2 day stay because Jet Blue would not purchase a seat from a booked passenger on the next flight as I requested. I will never use this airline again and would strongly advise anyone who wants or needs to be at their destination on time avoid them."

Cons: "When I bought my ticket I was not able to pic a seat. I am big guy and seat choice is a big deal. This was an obvious attempt to get you to upgrade to an even more leg room seat for a cost. When I called the customer no service line they told me i have get that done at the airport. I got to the air port early and they said you have to get that done at the gate but you can upgrade if you want. When i went to the gate they said you have to wait until 30min before the fight but you can upgrade. These are just shady sales techniques."

When we arrived at the airport they said we were lucky to catch the flight because it had been delayed. Cons: "Para empezar creo q el del counter tiene un negocio con el que rapea las maletas porq me dijo que mi maleta esta overside y que la rapee para bajarle el tamaño. Que??? Cuando fuu a la maquina de plastico el tipo me dijo no son $15, son $25 porq es overside y en avianca te van a cobrar $240. Yo le dije q le ponga el plastico dejandome el mismo tamaño por 15, cuando regrese al counter ya me pasaron la maleta como valida de peso y tamaño solo porq le puse el plastico. La comida es siempre la misma cada vez q vuelo, deben variar. La asafata estaba de mal humor y apurada un poco mas me tira la comida. Ultimamente avianca esta malo, solo porq el pasaje es un poci mas barato q otras aerolineas creen que pueden tratar mal al pasajero."

Cons: "When arriving at the airport in Bogota not only the flight was delayed but the gate was changed and the person at the counter in the gate wrote the wrong gate on the ticket and flight to Lima was missed. They booked the passenger in the next flight 9 hours after. They did not provide any food nor hotel so passenger to stay at the airport. My guess, they overbooked the flight as they always do, this trip was for my son (20) traveling by himself for the first time, they took advantage of his inexperience; this is is my 3rd bad experience with Avianca and definitely the last one!"

Pros: "Tried to have two of my children's flight changed to our flight but the Avianca flight person said they could not do the change in Cusco and instead to do it in Lima.. The flight left 45 min late to Lima and arrived 20 min late. We ran to the Avianca counter and they then told us we were too late to make the change after 10 min of talking. We all missed our flight to bogota as a result and they told us flippantly we would have to pay to fly the next morning because the next flight that night was full. They then tried to dismiss us with a phone number to call to get help. After I protested, the supervisor finally cane over and after explaining how many times we were not helped and given false info, she finally miraculously found seats on the next flight and put us on it, in the very back of the plane even though there were many seats throughout the plane available. It should NEVER have come to that. I am disgusted with Avianca's customer service."

Lied to in Lima about there being no seats on the next flight. Not helped and instead just given a phone number. To make matters worse, I also felt like we were racially discrimated against. We are African American and were treated poorly compared to the two Peruvian men who missed their flight as well. Avianca has a problem if this is its policy."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 2 hours in Santiago while on the runway due to technical difficulties. This caused my missed connection in Lima, therefore I had to wait from 10:45am to 5:30pm in Lima airport for a flight to Bogota, then after that catch another flight to Miami. I lost a whole day I had planned in Miami, arrived at 2:30AM when nobody could pick me up. Avianca didn't give me a voucher for food or transportation or even access to VIP lounges in Lima. I will never fly Avianca."

Cons: "They did not load my luggage in the airplane because there was not enough room. They promised to deliver it to my hotel at the night of the same day, but they did not. They gave me the same excuse, there was not enough room in the airplane, even though my luggage had a priority to be in the airplane. I had to discuss it with the call center stuff for a long time to make the arrangement to receive it as soon as possible. The call center stuff was not very helpful and just gave me a lot of unreasonable excuses. I am very disappointing with Avianca."

Cons: "I had 15 hours layover in Amsterdam so I got me a hotel.one hour after I got to the hotel I got a notification from Kayak app asking me to go get my bag from Schiphol. My bag was supposed to be directly shipped to PDX. I had to leave my hotel back to the airport and spend 2 hours trying to find it only to be told that it was going to PDX. I lost my $170 hotel room, over $70 for taxis and ended up spending the night on the floor at Schipol. I do not think I'll ever use Kayak again. The travel guarantee is a joke too."

The flight also boarded and departed mostly on time, and the onboard wifi was great."

Pros: "Crew was not helpful. Our flight was diverted to Memphis to refuel due to bad weather in Atlanta. The crew would not contact the Atlanta base about connections. Although I ended up making my connecting flight (as it was delayed 2 hours) my baggage has yet to arrive."

Cons: "Allowing the option to change your ticket date, but failing all debit and credit cards payments offered, actually means that they are not allowing flight changes due to COVID related issues like they say they do. We had to book new tickets with another airline to get home."

Cons: "I needed to change my ticket and Kayak had another agency issue the ticket. Kayak does not change tickets and the third party and the airline said only Kayak could make the change. Having to purchase a whole new ticket from the airline, save the money and frustration and avoid Kayak and just book directly with the airline. The ticket would have and should have been changed with no fees. $325 lesson learned."

Cons: "Could provide a menu card, like every other airline. Instead of listing every single option to everyone on the plane. And maybe use bigger cups that hold more than 3-4 ounces?? Especially when the airport takes away peoples liquids (see below). Ridiculous. Not necessarily with flight, more with Lima airport “security” - they took away ALL bottled liquids more than 3 oz. AT THE GATE. Even bottled water purchased 20 feet from the gate. And they couldn’t explain why. Just got a bunch of shrugs. Why take sealed water purchased at their own airport away before an international 8+ hour flight???"

A bag which I’ve used for hundreds of flights as a carry on “weighed too much” and suddenly required checkin with a charge despite it being a carry on for the first leg. No one could explain to me the difference of the weight in the overhead versus the belly of the plane. I will NEVER fly LATAM again and will make sure that I spend a lot more than $30 for all of my future travels in their region. Too bad that their rules are designed to steal from the customer. I won’t be fooled again."

Cons: "They made a mistake at the check in counter and gave my wife someone else’s boarding pass which was for a different flight. As we tried to board the flight, the woman at the gate told us it was the wrong flight and wouldn’t let her on. I showed her our reservation and she refused to help. She kept pushing back and told me the other flight arrives at the same time which wasn’t true. It was an hour later. She had no interest in helping us resolve this issue until I had To get assertive and threaten to file a complaint. I boarded the flight and the flight attendants questioned us why Y wasn’t on the flight. I told them she was stopped. After lots of back and forth the woman at the gate realized the mistake. Y boarded the flight. We didn’t receive an apology for the horrendous treatment of a customer. At this point we had nowhere to store carryon."

Cons: "Apparently you need to be at the airport 2hrs before your flight leaves otherwise you cant print your ticket and have to wait in a 1-2hr line to have them tell you you have now missed your flight and charge you $30USD to change to another flight. When it only takes literally 3min to get through security and to the gates. not sure why they couldn't give us our tickets when we were then an hr early. Then they said we were at gate 5. We went and waited there. About 20min before departure we noticed the flight info had changed and wasnt ours. No announcement. Nothing. We had to run upstairs to our new gate and barely made that flight. Extremely dissatisfied with customer service and lack of communication. Basically a company looking to get money wherever they can at the expense of foreign travelers."

Cons: "I arrived 3 hours early to my flight, which I had been notified that morning of a 2hr delay. Fortunately the woman who checked me in realized there was 1 seat available on the last flight that would get me to Lima in time for my connection flight (departing same time as my flight pre-delay). She personally got me to the front of the line, and ran with me just about to the gate, where I caught a shuttle to the plane. If she hadn't done so, and if I hadn't checked in so early, I would have been forced to stay in Lima 24hrs, despite buying a rightful seat and having reservations in Buenos Aires. It is appalling and unacceptable that y'all continue to overbook flights, causing incredible trouble, inconvenience and potential harm to your customers. For a service that costs so much, the only acceptable delays are weather and mechanically related. if it hadn't been for amazing staff immediately, I would've been furiously waiting in a city I didn't need or want to be in. Customer service will continue to grow your business or impede it negatively-- how y'all act is up to you. I appreciate how well I was taken care of by several kind individuals."

Pros: "Despite having a high "Sapphire" status with this One World Partner and being promised "preferente" seats by the airline when I reserved seats months ago, I was unable to view the seats or check in online. Both their App and their online system were down and unavailable. We were never able to view our actual seats online. The "preferred seats" my group on 5 could not have been worse!! We were seated consistently in row 11 or the very last row of the aircraft immediately in front of the lavatory, where the seats do not recline at all and where you hear and smell the bathroom for the entire flight.. There was NO space to breathe in our seats. I have traveled on dozens of airlines and this experience and these seats were the WORST! After this happened once, I specifically asked to insure that it would not happen again and was told that seats on my next flights were good but they were the same horrible seats. Part of our itinerary was on LAN and part was on TAM, who have now combined into 1 airline, but still operate on separate systems. So LAN customer service could not see the seats for TAM flights and vice versa. Their online system reflected a changed time for our return flight from 145pm to 250pm from Rio. We verified it 3 times (even though we could not check in or view our seats because of "technical difficulties" we could see the new departure tie, and the change was confirmed by our Sheraton concierge, but when we arrived to the airport they informed us that we had arrived to late for our 145pm flight! We showed them the app that showed our flight was changed to 250pm and they could not explain the problem. We were delayed 4 hours and arrived too late for dinner in Santiago. The final 4 hour flight at 4am flight from Santiago to Lima was torture. The seat in front was literally 6 inches in front of my face when they reclined and I could not recline. It was absolute TORTURE! Avoid this airline! To add the agony, they have lost my bag and do not know where it is!"

La verdad no creo volver a viajar con Latam."

Pros: "Flying on a Boing 787 is wonderful. The overall service from Latam is top quality; the crew was welcoming and very attentive. Food could be improved, specially offering vegetarian alternative for all of the food services. The movie selection could be improved (in variety and vintage). Music selection was very good for my taste."
Cons: "I was unable to choose my seats on line in advance, which created a stressful situation when at check-in we found that my wife and I were not seated together. Fortunately for the first leg of the trip (Santiago-Lima) there was an empty seat by her and I took it; and for the second leg (Lima-Los Angeles) the passenger next to her was upgraded on the last minute and left his seat for me. Latam has great service, but must let customers choose their seats or guarantee assigning adjacent seats to passengers traveling together, The process for servicing of the plane during the stop-over in Lima could be improved. I know it is hard to do minor cleaning, tidy-up, and replacement of pillows & blankets while many passengers remain on board, but at least there should be an announcement describing what the passengers are to expect during the stop-over."

Pros: "The staff was friendly and very attentitive. The entertainment is available in a huge selection and works great. It was great that I was able to create my own playlist with as many songs as I liked from their music library, for the duration of my flight. Staff woke me up and asked me if I wanted food in the morning which I thought was nice. On other airlines, Sometimes they just let you sleep and you miss out. Lighting is great for sleeping. Food is OKAY (im a picky eater) with vegetarian options. Provided pillow, blankets,AND HEADPHONES! Headphones are a must have for a long flight so it's great that they provide it. It was my firat flight with Latam and I look forward to flying with them again."
Cons: "I didn't like that latam doesn't offer wifi like some other airlines such as jetblue. Also I would like more interaction from the pilot over the intercom, its more personal and comfortable for passangers. Other than that great airline."

Pros: "The meal offerings given my "special" menu request (vegetarian) was better than expected, portions were of a nice quantity, the food wasn't bland, and in terms of variety they offered a good food selection. The available entertainment catalog (movies, TV shows, etc) was vast, and included recently released films. I also love that LAN offers pillows, blankets (of good, warm material) and headsets. The crew was attentive and helpful. The plane plane was clean, which is expected to be but not always ends up being that way."
Cons: "The plane looked like an older model, which is not a problem itself, the problems were: my seat was missing the cup holder ring (looked like it broke) meaning no place to keep a cup to drink water throughout the flight. The remote for the "t.v."/entertainment system, that is nestled on the side of the seat, wasn't working and the touch screen glitched (it would freeze, or kick me back to the root menu while I was browsing through options) Small technical problems that given the $$ flights cost, one expects them to work properly."

Cons: "The boarding process felt like a heads of cattle. We had to walk two miles through 5 wings of the terminal. Once we got there, thought we'd be just on time but ended up waiting in the terminal for 30 extra minutes, then boarded a bus which sat for another 20, then on the plane we sat for at least 30 more minutes. It was not a good experience. The food was also just average with little options to choose from"

Cons: "The plane was not clean at all. Mine and my friend's seatbelts both had chewed gum stuck on them which we had to cover with some plastic wrap to keep it from getting on our clothing. Our tray tables were disgusting. It looked like someone had spilled food all over them and no one ever cleaned it, so we had to clean the tables ourselves."

Cons: "My wife and I had a 3 hour, 15 minute delay because of a hydraulic issue. I understand that this needed to be repaired or checked out. However, it would have been helpful to have received periodic updates from the crew about what was happening. We went for over an hour without knowing what was going to happen while we sat on the plane."

Cons: "I have a very bad experience. The first flight was delayed, so many people including me missed the connecting flight. They kept us till 2AM at the airport and made us take out all our luggage before taking us to a hotel. Then, there was a Flight leaving the same day at noon, but instead of acommodating us there, they made us wait till 11:59 PM for the next flight. They told us that it was a direct flight as it was initially scheduled from Lima to La Paz, but that was not true as we had to stop in Santa Cruz first. To sum up, there was a 28-hour delay in total. I was supposed to get to La Paz on Jan. 28 and ended up arriving on the 29. No explanations were given, but it is clear that they oversold as all flights were full. Avoid this airline if you can."

Cons: "The flight itself was fine, but connecting through Mexico City airport is troublesome and time consuming. Mexican authorities make everyone go through a long line at customs. Since we checked in through Delta in San Antonio, we did not have a boarding pass for the Lima portion. , We had to exit into the main concourse to get our boarding pass. At that point we were on standby for seats and barely made our connection."

When you speak to customer service they talk to you like your a dummy."

Also they made me check my carry on because it was slightly larger than the recommended size, even though it fits in their recommend size criteria."

Again, seat comfort was not great, especially for an over night flight, but that's the chance taken in economy seating."
