I had to put my bag in a further bin because there was no room in the one next to my seat and when I returned to my seat, the man was still there. I told an attendant, but the man only gave me the number of HIS seat and told me it was the same. I told him it was NOT the same. I assumed he wanted to sit next to a friend, so I just let it go and the flight attendant just kind of drifted away. I also didn't want to be the one getting tackled by an Air Marshall for causing a fuss. Turns out, that man didn't even know the person he was sitting next to. I suspect he just wanted to get out of the plane sooner. Either way, this shouldn't be allowed to happen - what's the point of choosing your seats if someone else can just take it from you?"

Cons: "First the flight was delayed for 1.5 hours as it left the previous city late, no reason was given, however when the plane finally arrived we boarded a hot plane that was experiencing electrical problems. The plane was rebooted multiple times, making it even warmer as the air was shut off with the plane. We waited on board at the gate for over an hour to be told we would deplane and reboard a new plane. All in I experienced a 3.5 hour delay on a late night flight. The second plane was much more comfortable, but didn’t make up for the long delays"

I even moved to the bank of the plane, to read my book in peace, only to end up hearing 1 very loud FA talking!"

I understand the rule is that the doors close at 10 min before take off. The gate agent immediately put me on standby for the next flight and notified me that there was a good chance I could get on that flight."
Cons: "Did not get to sample the food as I fell asleep as soon as we got into the air. I kept waking up however because the seats were not very comfortable. There was not any space to recline the seats so my back was upright and it was difficult to be in a comfortable position. I have been in worse seats with other airlines, so the seats on this plane were not terrible, but travelers would benefit from an ability to recline, even slightly, and an adjustable neck padding."

Subsequently went to costumer service holding a 3 yr old in my hand to hear the supervisor state it is not our problem. The reality is it is your problem. I understand things happen but it is the job of customer service to make the customer feel better. No empathy what so ever. I am a physician that gets graded on my interaction with plp daily. I am giving her a zero. Giving a voucher does not fulfill my need for compassion. I can pay for my own Starbucks thank you."

The flight itself felt like an older 737-800 while it had power there were only two and the two others in my row snagged them. I was in Delta Comfort and have to say the extra leg room isn’t a lot."

Cons: "Flight delays cause cascade of irritable passengers. Flight out of Phoenix delayed due to late departure from previous location. We were told mechanical reasons was the cause of the delay. This caused many passengers to miss their connecting flight in Atlanta. When we arrived after midnight, one gate person was attempting to help 50 people with morning connecting flights and room accommodations. The airline knew 3 hours prior that they would have tired, hungry, frustrated passengers. To then have to wait more than an hour in a line to get a bed and or a meal was too much for most people. There were other smaller examples of how Delta's staff or procedures were not customer centric. I will avoid Delta for travel in the future, and I am getting out of their stock."

Cons: "Our flight was originally scheduled for departure at 7:45 PM. We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."

In Dallas I had to run from one flight to the next. The only reason I made was because the connecting flight eas also delayed. In rhe end we landed at SFO (instead of OAK) over 2 hours later than originally scheduled. To make matters worse, there was a backup on the Dublin grade, making the drive home to Tracy over three hours long. arrived at SAT at 4:30 PM CDT and arrived home in Tracy after 3:30 AM OFT. oh yeah, and my luggage didn't make it at all..."

She told me that I either “had to check my bag or find alternative way home” . After when I was taking to the end of the jetway she wouldn’t let me take it and said she had to do it” the whole situation was handling poorly and I watched her be rude to people prior to me. Also the outlet at the gate didn’t work."

Flight from London - Chicago was delayed 6 hours. Of course missed connection in Chicago. Spent night in Chicago and arrived home 48 hours after leaving for Venice airport."

I understood she needed to be under the seat for take off and landing but I was told by the ticket agent and flight attendants on my first flight that she could sit on my lap during the flight. Everything was great on the way there. On the returning flight,.... the flight attendant was so RUDE to me. She saw that after we were airborne and at a steady altitude, I brought my dog "Kacey" up into my lap. She immediately raised her voice and stated the dog needed to remain on the ground. I politely explained her condition BUT she refused to listen to anything. I put my poor old dog back under the seat. After approx 20 min I could hear her patting very loud. I lifted her again and asked a different flight attendant for some water. She was very hot on the floor. Or course, the flight attendant saw my little chihuahua drinking the water and said that after she drinks a little more, she must remain under the seat. By now, my husband is getting annoyed. He tried explaining to the flight attendant the medical needs that my dog has " she's on protein shakes" which were approved their security. and how fragile she is. She can't BARK, SEE, or HEAR. Yes, we will be putting her down soon but we took her to Montana for my daughter to say her GOODBYES!! Sorry to say, but that flight attendant has turned me away from UNITED AIR LINES forever. Got to the airport & our seats were split up by desk clerk & she didn't even inform us of seat assignment change. She also put 2 of us in the Exit row without informing us. Did not know we were assigned to Exit row until we boarded. Our overhead bins were full with other passengers carryons. This should not be. Why can't passengers use their own overhead bins. Stewardess would not help us, she said find a spot up front, if not you'll have to check carryons. Terrible."

Cons: "New screens are nice, but $8 to watch TV for a couple of hours? Take a hint from JetBlue, United, STOP NICKEL AND DIMING CUSTOMERS! This on top of there being two solid rows of economy comfort seating open, and not letting us move back one row to the economy comfort seats since ours wouldn't recline because they were in front of that exit row. On United website, it would've been $25 to upgrade each seat (not horrible), and the flight attendant told us we couldn't when we asked that they were $100+ seats and that there's nothing she could do. Thanks United. Guess I'll go back to being a JetBlue customer."

Pros: "They only had one plane, it was weather delayed at its previous airport, then it ariver with mechanical problems. Customer service promised me the flight would be leaving that day, it ended up being cancelled. We were at the airport for 9 hours before they cancelled which meant that rebook in a flight on a different airline cost twice as much and was difficult and could only be done for the next day. Customer service was useless. The gate crews are third party contractors and can't do anything because of frontier's policies. I reported them to Dept of transportation and they keep sending the response that they have too many complaints to respond to and they wI'll get to it eventually."

This caused all passengers to have to be unloaded and wait numerous hours before knowing if/when we were leaving. They passed out a handful of breakfast voucher then stopped until about an hour later they gave the rest of us our vouchers."

Prices for baggage were discounted because of the offseason, but I would have been annoyed if I paid the much higher "normal" pricing. The math would have made the tickets more than major airlines that include food, entertainment, and staffed baggage check-in counters."
Cons: "Each time waited 25-45 minutes before staff arrived at baggage check-in. Then 4 employees would come at the same time. I understand saving costs, but couldn't they just use less staff to always have somebody at the counter? The labor cost would be the same."
Pros: "Even though there was a ton of cancellations and delays from the day before due to Chicago weather, we had no problems with leaving on time and even arrived at our destination early. Flight crew was pleasant. Too bad TSA security took forever. They must have been short of help. Only one person checking tickets & ID's and only 1 lane for the scanners. Wtf? Good thing we got to airport early or we'd miss our flight."
