Cons: The check in process for Delta was a chaotic mess. There was no one to assist passengers, lines were crazy long. I overheard so many people complaining about missing flights and they could not get any help. I also think the amount Delta charges for luggage was insane.Read more about Delta
Cons: The check in process for Delta was a chaotic mess. There was no one to assist passengers, lines were crazy long. I overheard so many people complaining about missing flights and they could not get any help. I also think the amount Delta charges for luggage was insane.
Pros: Snacks and entertainment was good, and the flights were timely.
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Arriving 40 minutes ahead of schedule. Delta makes more an effort to provide spacing between passengers and provides sanitizer wipes both on boarding and with the snack pack.
Pros: Don’t go overboard
Pros: Not one of my good experiences with Delta. Two hours delay in the flight
Cons: Information on the flight delay as communication was. at least very poor. Also A 220 was ok but First Class was so so
Pros: Crew were helpful and cheerful.
Cons: Flight on time! Missed connections. In hotel overnight. Missed the event I was travelling to attend!
Pros: The Crew
Cons: No AC...
Pros: The fight was very professionally carried out.
Cons: The gate agent hurried ineffectively to board our slightly delayed flight (around 10 min). She left open the Priority Lane and boarded all pax there, having to step 4 steps to the left to scan every boarding pass.
Pros: There were a few hiccups with the overall flight process, but the crew was very friendly and informed everyone in a timely manner of the situation. There were also good snacks. Also, flexible baggage policy, which was great.
Cons: The boarding situation is odd and less organized or structured than any of the other airlines I've flown with.
Pros: Got to Houston on time
Cons: WiFi that I paid for on Delta didn't work, flight was delayed at take off due to waiting for restroom supplies; lead flight attendant had a major accent and was difficult to understand. She also stated to keep my mother's walker outside the plane when entering the plane
Pros: Good flight as always with Delta. Sat in economy comfort, so of course the seats was comfortable. Flight Attendants were great.
Pros: Flight was delayed for more than 3 hours.
Cons: Could have left on or close to schedule.
Cons: Wifi was not working
Cons: Old plane, long delay, sketchy WiFi.
Pros: Excellent hospitality I asked for a cup of coffee at an odd time, the attendant went out of his way to brew fresh pot and served me, instead of just saying "Sorry sir, we don't have any coffee at this time...."
Pros: Basic flight... likedthe tomato juice and snack mix
Cons: Announcements startled me every time due to volume
Pros: Free messaging during flight was REALLY nice!!! Smooth flight, early arrival, good coffee, variety of drinks, entertainment system worked very well and fast.
Cons: Seat bottom cushion was not comfortable, also I think my seat was broken as any time I leaned forward it returned to upright position. Food was good but need more snack for a long haul flight. Needed more drink offers between meals.
Pros: Boarding, flight, landing
Cons: Baggage claim was unmanned Ground transportation was awful Delta & all Harrisburg staff was not responsive, for example w/baggage unmanned a sign said "go to ticket counter" when I got to ticket counter Delta agent didn't notice me in Sky Priority line for 5 minutes because she was texting on her personal cellphone.
Pros: There were actual meals served on the flight. They were pretty good. Free movies available.
Cons: There was one cranky flight attendant. The seats don’t recline quite enough to be able to sleep.
Pros: Friendliness of flight attendants
Cons: I wasn't awake long enough to find fault
Pros: The crew was good
Cons: The flight was incredibly uncomfortable. The Delta team in Houston was not very pleasant.
Pros: The flight was very good, no complaints, good service and we flew on schedule
Cons: We were split into two boarding groups, one for priority and one for everyone else. This was good but the priority line was just a bit too far away for the announcements to be heard. This added a little bit of confusion. This was at gate B36 at JFK Airport's Terminal 4.
Pros: The crew were fantastic and tried their best the delay.
Cons: Delayed flight. 2 hours delay. Had to rebook a connecting flight and hence was very tight to board the next flight
Pros: Food and service was nice
Cons: Very long route to my final destination
Pros: Crew was fantastic and very helpful.
Cons: Not sure who was in charge of loading the plane with food for purchase, but they forgot it all entirely. The crew was kind enough to give extra snacks. Kinda curious how you forgot to load a plane with food for purchase and how did the crew not notice in advance? I would think that is one of their checks of the cabin. Not mention who ever signed off saying they filled the plane with food for purchase lied. Very frustrating not only for the crew but for the passengers.
Cons: Small seater aircraft was cramped
Cons: I couldn’t watch a movie and I couldn’t fall asleep because the the person in front of me had a light on.
Pros: In flight tracking
Cons: Irregular serbice
Pros: CVG isn't a huge airport, but it has a good amount of things to keep you entertained/well fed.
Cons: CVG security line isn't terrible, but there seemingly is ALWAYS a decent wait. When a flight is full, like this one, it's never very comfortable – even a short flight.
Cons: 1 hour delay, no explanation, no weather problems, late for my meeting in Houston.
Pros: the seats were ok
Cons: was little late
Pros: The gate agent and cabin crew handled passenger's misery with friendly grace and professionalism. Also, it was an old plane and so the seats, even in coach, were comfortable.
Cons: Plane was around 45 minutes late in arriving at our Minneapolis gate. Flight was further delayed by something (unspecified) being "frozen." WORST part was that the temperature in the seating area at the gate was horribly cold. Departing passengers at a neighboring gate were bound for Fargo and sat with their parkas on and with parka hoods up. We Houston-bound had packed our coats & boots and were shivering. Then when we finally boarded the crew announced that the plane's water system was broken and so we would have no hot coffee or hot tea or hot anything. No water, also and obviously, in the restroom sink. But sani-wipes were provided in the sink basin.
Pros: Quick flight, great landing and takeoff.
Cons: Everything was great today.
Pros: Staff smooth flight great landing and free movies
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: Same as above
Cons: Same as above
Pros: All I need to say.
Pros: Could not use the bathroom
Pros: entertainment services
Cons: Delta doesn't manage their flight schedules and personnel with backup or standby crew in order to assist whenever there are delays across domestic flights. The plane was late to arrive at the gate and we were also told that while the pilot was ready to take off, we couldn't leave because we were waiting for a flight attendant to land from Pittsburgh (we were in La Guardia airport in NYC). delta would rather I convenience the flyer instead of hiring more personnel or figuring out standby or backup plans for delayed flights.
Cons: Delayed by an hour!
Cons: Late taking off, and then unable to get to gate on arrival
Pros: Chicken kale salad was inedible. I did not know chicken had gristle!
Cons: Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide.
Pros: Good seat, easy on and off, everything went a little ahead of schedule and smooth
Pros: I liked the in-flight entertainment and the crew was very pleasant
Cons: The seats are awful. If you're 6 ft or taller, your legs barely fit if at all. Boarding is ridiculous.
Pros: Every thing except food!
Cons: Not enough food provided by airline!
Cons: The food was not as usual.
Pros: The crew was great
Cons: 1-2 +cms leg space
Pros: Despite being a short flight, they gave food
Cons: Nothing. All ok
Pros: Nice and attentive crew.
Cons: Seats not comfortable in premier economy.
Pros: Nothing !! Such a bullshit flight ever !!!
Cons: No tv fo 14 hr long flight !! Flight delayed for 1 he !! No proper arranged to board .. it was kiosk!! Food quality was worse. No space to seat !! Can’t sleep .. no leg space !! Worst fight till the date !!!
Pros: Late departure, dirty, staff not friendly.
Pros: The food selection and drinks, given our coach class, were excellent. Nice attention to the passengers.
Pros: Crew was very friendly. Food was excellent
Pros: The cue lines per zone are a brilliant idea!
Pros: The crew was pleasant and boarding efficient I lucked out with first class
Cons: Not to be late ,and not to loose my luggege
Pros: Plane was new, and seatback screen responsive and functional.
Cons: Economy seats not very comfortable, very tightly packed together
Cons: Not really an Air France flight, AF not interested in taking care of their frequent fliers.
Pros: Air France has the best crews! They really go the extra mile.
Cons: My skis were lost on the way to Riga and had to be delivered 2 days later to Vilnius. That said, the situation was handled very professionally.
Cons: Better in flight entertainment
Pros: Short flight so I can't really complain. It was no frills, standard small aircraft with no high tech entertainment system. Seats were fairly comfortable
Pros: Good selection of movies
Pros: Cheap ticket
Cons: The fact that you cheapskates don't allow credit or refund is downright usury. I didn't take that flight because of medical issues that caused me to cancel my trip 2 weeks in advance. I pleaded with you to be able to take a credit, to no avail. You lost a customer.
Pros: The crew worked hard, but the food was below the French standards.
Cons: The flight was delayed for 2.5 hours and the passengers spent this time in the cabin without a/c.
Pros: On time.
Cons: Did not seat together passengers, although booked and checked in at the same time.
Pros: Food was good and again, staff were friendly and professional. Flight was on time and efficient dis-embark mentioned.
Cons: Slight issue with headphone connection, was not the only passenger.
Cons: I will not use o recommend to anyone to buy a ticket with the agency, at the airport in China we were treated like criminals because as they said we were not register in the system as passengers it was really a nightmare
Pros: If the flight would have leave in time we would receive our luggage in time
Cons: Please see comments above about this flight.
Cons: The seat seemed smaller and space was very uncomfortable. The boarding process was very painful because we had to wait for a longtime.
Pros: Easy, fast, comfortable, no hassles
Cons: People may think, that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel.
Cons: Its been a week. My trip has ended. I still do not have my bags. Terrible customer service.
Pros: Service was excellent, top of line Food ,some of the best I’ve had on a airline Seats & pillows comfy But we were in La Première! Also the equipment- a380 was terrific
Cons: Only 1 bathroom (toilet) for all of first class
Pros: Good service at gate and on board
Pros: It es a good flight back
Cons: Items missing on duty free purchases
Pros: Flight was only 50% full. Room to spread out.
Cons: Leg room cramp. Flight arrived late as a result missed connection home.
Pros: It was on time
Cons: Food was AWFUL! Better to serve nothing
Pros: Pretty decent
Cons: Not much
Cons: Disappointed to get delayed due to control tower issues at CdG. Landed more than 30 mins late in London
Cons: The crew was not very polite.
Pros: Service was much better than on the flight from MIA to CDG 3 weeks before - that was very poor. Entertainment was excellent - great selection of movies. Premium Economy was definitely worth the upgrade cost.
Cons: Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board.
Pros: Amazing service, seat and FOOD
Pros: The boarding process was smooth and the crew friendly. Flight ran on time.
Cons: Unloading the baggage took over 90 minutes, and there was no explanation for the delay and nobody from Air France in sight on the ground in Boston.
Cons: Our first leg from Paris was delayed and we missed our flight to Dubrovnik. We then had to hire a car and drive 6 hours to ensure we wouldn't lose a day more of our holiday.
Cons: I was forced to rebook my 3rd leg after taking trains in the middle.
Pros: The service provided by Jet and Air France was excellent. The wheelchair service did help very much
Cons: Wheel chairs for my ill and aged parents was not provided
Pros: Loved the lovely food and wine from Air France, they even serve fresh french bread with camembert, ice cream, champagne (in economy) and brandy with your coffee!
Cons: The cabin on the 777-200 was far too hot (about 25c) and with no individual air vent I found this unbearable on a 12 hour flight. And despite the flight taking place entirely during daylight hours and leaving at 10:30 am, inexplicably we were made to all pull our blinds down and the lights went off after a couple of hours - in the middle of the day and for about 8 hours! So although I had paid for a window seat there was nothing to see apart from the window shade. As it was the middle of the day I could not go to sleep, the person in front of me reclined fully so for me the flight was a hot, claustropobic, dark hell. An utterly miserable experience. I felt like I was going mad, trapped in my own little cell.
Cons: Couldn't adjust the seat and the cushion wasn't comfortable neither seat or back. The bottom back was like a board across the bottom and hurts.
Pros: Spacious cabin, clean and bright. Attentive crew offering snacks and a drink for an hour flight.
Cons: Although incoming plane arrived late, flight home arrived 20 minutes early.
Pros: Super comfortable even in coach (upstairs). I was impressed with service and quantity and quality of food. Would be pleased to fly them again.
Cons: Seat did not recline as much as normal aircraft.
Pros: Courtesy staff excellent!
Cons: Console for gaming poked guy in front. Needed joystick
Pros: The crew was professional.
Pros: Amazing crew!
Cons: Keep traveler's updated on delays.
Pros: Smooth flight
Cons: More room on plane. Seats are very close together
Cons: Flight delayed
Pros: The space in economy plus. But the crew making sure we had room due to social distancing the best they could with what space they had to work with on the plane.
Pros: MUCH BETTER experience than our American Airlines flight when we left last week. More friendly people.
Pros: The crew was very nice and professional. The flight arrived early and that was great.
Cons: It was a bit overcrowded and the internet was a bit spotty
Pros: I like that I was finally able to come home
Cons: The United Airlines reps could have shown some empathy to the passengers who were delayed. The arline knew we had connecting flights and could've alerted the other flight that we were there and to wait on us. The connecting flight was scheduled to leave at 9:50. I arrived at the gate at 9:49 only to find that the flight had not only boarded but had already left. The reps at the counter showed no level of empathy and acted put out when asked to provide transportation to the reassigned gate. Lastly, the flight could've offered something more than a $10 food voucher, especially since the majority of the food in the airport is greater than $10.
Cons: Higher Priced seating was left empty and people were not spaced properly in the cheap seats in the back despite the extra room on board at takeoff.
Pros: Great value
Cons: The seats weren't very comfortable, but I could make due.
Cons: there was no flight. pay attention, kayak.
Cons: More space on the flight
Pros: Was able to get an Economy Plus seat, which is nice - great legroom for an almost 6' tall person and power plug is very handy. Entertainment & screens on the 787 is very good. Regular distributions of water was very helpful since I wasn't able to fill up my bottle before getting on the flight.
Cons: Not a great amount of food available, and one of the larger cabin crew members kept brushing my arm as she walked past, which didn't help me get any sleep.
Pros: Came close to missing flight because of gate delay because of connecting flight, but one of the flight attendants saw I was flustered and sweaty and gave me a cup of water before the flight even took off. Very thoughtful and nice.
Cons: On time departure. A comfortable seat.
Pros: People caring for people. We flew for a familiar emergency and the personnel on board understood the situation and was very kind.
Pros: Helpful crew and loads of space on bulkhead with bassinet (had to pay extra for the seats though but worth it when travelling with five month old).
Cons: Misinformed about luggage being checked all the way to Auckland - like other US airports all luggage must be collected and handed over again for onward journeys. Also travel cot was lost in transit.
Pros: Staff was all friendly and exhibited positive and helpful attitudes. I also think the price and route was an excellent deal for this flight. It was actually such a good deal, it’s the main reason I even went.
Cons: I think the baggage restrictions thing is really slimey and a shameful scam. I actually wouldn’t have minded paying around $50 more for my ticket and hand the bag included than be misled into thinking I could take luggage and finding out after it’s too late that I have to pay for my luggage. I think it’s a really sleazy business tactic (akin to resort fees). Fortunately for me however, I don’t travel with luggage so it doesn’t directly affect me. Still think it’s. Shitty way to do business though.
Pros: Not much
Cons: Cabin AirConditioning fault. Air bridge fault all delayed flights from Fort Lauderdale to San Antonio
Pros: United seems to have simplified how it separates the boarding groups, so getting on the plane was well organized. The 787 aircraft was spacious and comfortable, which seems to put both passengers and crew in a good mood. Lots of entertainment options were available, so the three hour flight flew by. And we arrived early! A great experience on United.
Pros: Landed early
Cons: No wifi or substantial snacks/dinner. Paid for bag
Cons: Fellow passengers; too many howling kids with clueless parents
Pros: The journey was smooth
Pros: Boarding and checking in was great..
Cons: there where some issues with the airplane from the beginning we were inform that the seat belt and cigarette icons lights were no working . but then they have to call technicians to do a recheck on the plane so there more issues no just about the lights we have to stay in the plane until fixed some people lost their connection flights. the terminal where we landed was a long walk to customs then pick up bags and transport to the next terminal no enough time to eat between flights. to stressful .
Cons: My friend and I have taken our hiking packs to Alaska, California, Washington, and all along the East coast. Never have we been asked to check our packs. I was mostly surprised, at first. Once I was seated a man in front of me had his hiking pack and two ukuleles in their cases, neither of which could fit under his seat. That's when I became frustrated. O This plane sucks: our knees were slammed into the seat in front of us because the chairs are so close together. No USB plugs. Plane was dirty, scuff marks on the wall and ceiling. There was paper in the pouch that looked like a mouse had chewed on it.
Cons: We we're delayed at customs and missed our flight. We were told we were re-booked on a flight, so we ran across the airport, with two small children, to make that flight only to be told that weren't actually re-booked and needed to go standby. We then waited in line at customer service for two hours to be informed that United won't pay for a hotel. The customer service rep. did offer that if we wanted to take our kids across the airport, now at 11:30 at night, we could look for a United Supervisor in Terminal E, and if we were lucky enough to find one, they might override the policy and cover the hotel. Really! I understand that United doesn't have control over customs, but United did book an international flight with just over an hour layover, knowing that any slowdown in customs means missed flights. That's fine. The problem I have is when it happened, United's Customer Service model was to provide misinformation, incredible slow service, and what seemed like a complete lack of interest by United employees to do anything to make the situation better. There were no supervisors at the service counter, only 1 representative for an hour or so, and when the other representatives showed up, they were discussing going on break and going home. All with a very long line of people stuck in the airport waiting to get some help. I could accept this as an isolated instance, but since booking this trip, I have been getting the same level of service over the phone while trying to submit a refund request for my son who did not join us on the trip. United's 24 hour refund policy has taken 6 weeks and many hours online and on the phone and I still have no idea what the status of that request is, and apparently neither does anybody at United. The interaction I have had with your employees have been friendly and courteous, but extremely time consuming, with a lot of incorrect information and no resolution. Very mediocre at best.
Pros: The space of the plane since I volunteered to be at the emergency door I felt comfortable...
Cons: Not giving me my seat number because my ticket was not a standby ticket and I seem to think that the agent thought that I was on standby but I have to go to him several time to make him understand that my ticket had a confirmation number and I did a reserve and I needed a seat number it was not on standby when he checked it he said okay and I also explained to him that I was a military personnel ... The agent should treat us with respect you should have gave me a better information and just throw me away then going back to him several times for the correct solution...
Pros: On time.
Cons: New looking plane but the TVs behind all the chairs were locked without a credit card. The new chairs looked great until you sat in them. I'm 5'10" and my knees were already brushing up against the seatback in front of me. If you push the recline button on the armrest, the chair doesn't go back (of course it doesn't, the person's legs behind me are probably up against my chair anyway). Multiple people around me were also asking around if the chairs recline. I have a mild back injury and sitting up at 90 degrees the entire way was very uncomfortable.
Pros: The ticket staff. The only thing about the Harlingen airport is that it needs more than a couple of exray machines ....the Valley is woefully behind in staff training and technology. It took forever to get through the short lines...it was too long of a wait.
Cons: The way that a couple of young AA men who were biligirent, combative and vulgar upset about their seat assignments. I told one of the young men to stop using vulgarity and no way to treat the lady that was doing her job, she continued treating them with courtesy and they kept mumbling under their breath God knows what. So young and already so bitter. They were towering over her and took a confrontational stance...she finally called security. I would not allowed them on the plane. I commend the young lady there in Harlingen.
Pros: Finally getting to SEA
Cons: The Captain kept lying to the passengers why we were delaid ! Finally after 40 minutes sitting on the ramp he came on and apolized for telling us the wrong information but actually what happened was someone loaded all the luggage in the aft baggage compdartment incorrectly and they had to reload the the bags and move then to the forward compartment This certainty didn't give you a safe feeling knowing there ground crew didn't know ho to load there plane correctly! Another reason not to fly United Airlines! Everett Johnson, Bellevue Wash.
Pros: Flight attendants were friendly.
Cons: The most uncomfortable seat I have ever ridden on a flight. My back and posterior were in pain for over a day after the flight. Terrible treatment of passengers to pack a few more people in like cattle. Thinnest seats I have ever seen that felt and looked like hard plastic. This was an Embraer 175 jet...will never fly on one of these again. Had a hard landing in excellent weather. Flew the same route back to Charlotte on an American Airlines A320...these seats were comfortable and the landing was smooth even with a 20mph crosswind.
Pros: The flight attendants were nice, unlike the people at the ticket and gate counters.
Cons: My flight was delayed by nearly two hours, causing me to have to miss my connection. Though they knew for hours that the flight would be delayed, they did not have enough people working at the check in counters. There were not that many people in line, but I had to wait more than 20 minutes before being able to speak to someone. The representative informed me that I would have to be rebooked onto a later connection because the delay would cause my to miss my original connecting flight, and when I told her that I needed an earlier time to avoid missing a meeting, she just said "I have nothing earlier." She was barely even apologetic. Then she was unable to print my boarding pass for my connection. I had a 2 hour and 45 minute layover in Houston whereas in my original flight it was 1 hour.
Pros: Safe landing in windy conditions.
Cons: Air-con failure delayed departure. No complimentary food or OH. Poor legroom. Nothing
Cons: I was warned about booking with this airline but I had to see it for myself before listening to others now I wish I had done just that. First of all, outdated planes, no Tv screens, expensive wifi. How is it only $3 one way and then $5 the other especially after making us wait for 3 hours and 22 minutes extra. Exhausting flights both to Albuquerque from Houston and from Houston to Boston. Poor communication. Poor planning ahead. Very dissatisfied. Going with Jet Blue from now on. They never disappoint, even if there was a delay in flight.
Cons: Ended up sitting on the tarmac for 30-40 minutes. Many people almost missed or did miss flights.
Pros: I like everything!!everyone was so nice that it makes you feel so welcome and that you're like in home!!!
Pros: The crew was very nice as we got on.
Cons: As usually United over booked and even though I brought my ticket in advance I some how did not have a seat assigned to me when I checked in. Most of the plane had boarded before I had a ticket in my hand. The agent was rude as she could be because I didn't understand how that's possible for me not to have a seat. I think that it's absolutely ridiculous that it's even possible to over sale a plane since there's obviously only a certain number of seats. I think it's ridiculous that people have to offer up their seat and take another flight, I chose a flight time because that's when I wanted to leave and get to where I was going for a reason. No other industry is allowed to treat their customers this way so why does the airline industry do it? Also there's no tv or movies for us to watch while in a 4 hour flight.
Pros: crew, takeoff, landing and flight were good on each flight. no complaints there.
Cons: from COS to FLL: first flight was late taking off. connecting flight was on time. this is a bad combination. i was literally seconds from missing my connecting flight, and that was after sprinting from one terminal to another. captain on the first flight announced that takeoff was delayed because they were waiting for flight charts to finish downloading. really? WELL THEN GET THERE 20 MINUTES EARLIER AND BE PREPARED TO LEAVE *ON TIME* SO THAT PASSENGERS DON'T MISS (OR NEARLY MISS) THEIR CONNECTIONS!!!
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating
Cons: There was some sort of mix up with seat assignments two guys had the same seat assignment. The very nice gentleman who was sitting in my seat due this stood and allowed me to have my seat as it was on the isle and I was in boarding group 5 and my seat was all the way at the end by the bathrooms and needed to be able to stretch my legs into the isle. There was absolutely no leg room what so ever. The dude next to me spent the entire trip jabbing me in the side with his elbow so that he could access what little space I did have. I was unable to move my legs because every two seconds the entire plane was trekking to the back to use the bathroom, because while there was a third bathroom on the plane towards the front, for whatever reason nobody seemed to be using it.
Pros: Everything really was superb. Food rated low because of a measly biscuit on a 6 hour flight. Entertainment rated low because I even had to pay to gain access to the flight tracker. And, as far as airlines go, comfort should've been 5 stars, but I really could have used a back pillow. Or even a back pillow option (had I asked an attendant - all of whom were awesome). PS. Kayak's regular emails kept me unusually updated on flight progress and their communication was the main factor in my decision to complete this survey.
Pros: On the trip from Des Moines to Houston, timeliness of flight was great. The boarding went smooth and was done quickly. The crew were friendly and courteous. Overall the first half of the trip was fine.
Cons: I was extremely disappointed in the condition of my luggage when I picked it up plane side. The wheel was broke off and all the pockets had been unzipped and it appeared they had been rummaged through. I had to drag my bag through the terminal. I spoke with 3 individuals with United who referred me onto the next and each unwilling as the previous to help. I myself am in customer service and would never treat my customers the way I was treated by the employees representing your Airline. I would go above and beyond to make the sure that the customers experience was a great one in spite of the unfotunate incident so they would return. I have never flown United before, and I will not consider your airline in the future.
Pros: Text and email alerts.
Cons: Everything. We arrived 2 hours early and my daughter worked very hard to fit everything she needed into a carry on bag which was not easy. Her flight was delayed, delayed again, delayed again, and then cancelled. She was flying alone and should have received top priority and been one of the first called up to figure out how to get her to her destination. But that did not happen. She didn't know what to do at first then got in the long line of people and waited her turn. ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT HER ONLY OPTION WAS TO FLY OUT ON A LATER FLIGHT TO HOUSTON WHICH WOULD MAKE HER MISS HER CONNECTING FLIGHT ANT THEN STAY THE NIGHT ALONE IN HOUSTON AND WAIT THE ENTIRE NEXT DAY THERE UNTIL 9 THE NEXT NIGHT TO CATCH HER FINAL FLIGHT TO SALT LAKE CITY. I cannot even explain how angry and horrified I was that your airline thought that was acceptable for an unaccompanied minor! Clearly this one option that was offered to her by you was not accepted. Then she calls and a guy tells her he can get her there and is going to book her new flights.....only to get disconnected and never called her back. After that there was no one to be found at the desks for your airline. At this point I had driven back to the airport (spent hours driving and waiting) when a wonderful lady from a different airline helped my daughter out and got her on a different airline. However she had to check her bag due to her seating after all the hard work she put in to not checking her bag.
Pros: It got me home.
Cons: Boarding was terrible. Couldn't hear the PA's for boarding. Didn't get the boarding group thing since there was absolutely no division of where groups should be and no room for the group lines until it backs into the wall. Upon boarding I noticed we were in the center seating which was not what I had booked directly with United. When I had originally called, I explained there were four of us and the explained we could have 2 and 2 by a window but in separate groups or 2 and 2 behind the others in the middle rows. I wanted the window seats. Upon getting the res notification I noticed it was in the center so I called to have it switched to the window rows as previously requested and he said no problem and he would change them. I guess I should have followed up again since once on the plane we were in the center seats. I explained to one of the flight attendants since this was kind of a big deal. She was going to check with the gate agent and get back to me. I never heard from her again even though she knew where we were sitting. I guess she was busy and forgot! The four of us were tired and fell asleep which caused us to miss the meal which was served very early in the flight. No problem until later in the flight I asked the female flight attendant in the back if I could get a meal or some snacks for my daughter since she was now hungry. She told me she would check on it when the seat belt sign was turned off. At this time it had been smooth for quite some time and many passengers and other flight attendants were up and walking around. So if this fa was so concerned shouldn't she be telling everyone else to sit down instead of sitting in the back READING A BOOK? I still didn't have a problem as we patiently waited until she just didn't acknowledge us. Finally, I made the same request to a male fa while the same female was right behind him. He was great and came back soon with a meal I believe he may have retrieved from 1st class. He said the original ones in the back had been sitting to long. Great job to him. Sorry I do not have names. The Lufthansa crew on the way over to Frankfurt worked nearly nonstop, this crew hardly worked. Not impressed at all. By the way, I never write reviews.
Pros: Flight times were accurate.
Cons: As soon as we arrived to the airport, checking in was the biggest hassle. We were harassed by a guy working the ticket counter named Guilermo. He was EXTREMELY rude and continued to harass us and followed us after we checked in and we're already at the security check point. It's $25 to check a bag but if you check 2 bags their website says its $35 for both. We were charged $50 to check two bags. Even after Guilermo told both of us that they wouldn't charge us for the second bag to be checked. The guy that checked our bags was also extremely rude and clearly didn't care. Once we started boarding the flight several passengers had to check their bags at the gate because there "wasn't enough room on the plane". Not really sure how this was fair since we had just paid $50 to check two bags and were lied to about it when several people just checked their bags for free. We chose to fly with United because of the good deals they have on flights but after our experience I would MUCH rather pay more money and have a lot better customer service. We had such a horrible experience it almost ruined our first day of our week long trip. I'm. It really sure if it's obvious to the employees of United but traveling for most people is a very special occasion. This occasion happen to be a very special one to us as it was a family vacation and seeing family we haven't seen in years. The poor attitudes and rude demeanor from the United staff is all we could think about even after we reached our destination.
Pros: My flight was overbooked, and I was in one of the later boarding groups. When I got on the plane, someone else was in my seat, and apparently had been told by the crew to sit there. There were no extra seats visible. Clearly upset, a very nice flight attendant brought me back to the galley and chatted with me (not reacting negatively to my less-than-stellar attitude given the situation) while another went to "handle it." Not sure what magic she worked, but I ended up with a window seat in an exit row with lots of leg room. An unfortunate situation was handled very well and I'm really appreciative!
Cons: I couldn't get the WiFi to work and my seat didn't recline (because it was an exit row).
Pros: Seats were okay as far as comfort level
Cons: This flight was overbooked. I had to be back at work the next day, so I really needed to take it. The gate agents wouldn't tell me what was going on, only that the flight was overbooked and that they were "trying to get me a seat." I stood there while all of the groups boarded, waiting for my ticket. I was the last person given a ticket. By the time I finally got to board, all overhead space was taken, so I had to gate check my bag. And then someone had taken the seat I was given, so I had to ask him to move, and he started crying (child). He cried for 20 minutes, so that was fun. Also, this was a red eye - I really wanted to sleep, but right as I was dozing off, the flight attendants turned on the lights for drink service. Overall, just a really poor experience and very hard to sleep.
Pros: Absolutely nothing. Everything was piss poor.
Cons: Everything. First I wish my flight wasn’t canceled a d then received notice on the same day
Pros: Everything was good except the long layover
Cons: Shorter layover
Pros: It was just a flight. Nothing to rave about. Just a typical up and over flight. The flight left Athens over an hour late and got to Brussels almost 90mins late.
Cons: We weren't offered complimentary beverage service. They did a beverage service for paid drinks and that took well over an hour. We were only given a simple single piece of chocolate while waiting to take off
Cons: The Florence Airport has difficulty with baggage. Had to wait for over an hour.
Cons: The app and trying to find boarding details prior.
Cons: Free coffee
Pros: Crew and food
Cons: At least give a glass of water.
Pros: Paid for Business , got a minor economy service .
Cons: Almost no advantages for business ticket traveller
Cons: Reject luggage when it fits is aggravating unacceptable Refuse to get cup of coffee when trapped by sleeping passenger Reject cuz luggage 1 lb over when they sent the other luggage on I could have tfr’d l lb to. Check in totally unhelpful 3 security checks by you is hassle and people rude .. tr
Pros: The flight attendants were wonderful and the movies and space for the kids was great!
Cons: Water could have been served complementary
Pros: Best Econ service for a long time.Beats the Comp hands down.
Pros: Flight was cancelled.
Cons: It was very cold they need to lower the temperature.
Pros: Helpful services.
Pros: Edficient boarding and pleasant onboard service
Cons: Cleanliness of plane and limited movies
Pros: I don't think I liked anything about Brussels Airlines, compared to British Airways or American Airlines. The reason why I booked on Brussels Airlines was because American Airlines will only allow my family to check in luggage when we travelled to Accra in 2016. On our return flight on British Airways, we were allowed to check in bags and not 1
Cons: The flight was delayed and seating arrangements for my family was not well done.
Pros: Excellent service. Friendly staff.
Pros: Entertainment choices
Pros: Brussels Air was on time, attendants were courteous, plane was clean and in great condition. For a discount flight, it was great!
Pros: I liked the organization and service
Pros: Not much. Flight was pleasant and smooth.
Cons: They called us for boarding before anyone was at the gate and we all had to wait on a stairwell until they opened. It made no sense and seemed dangerous to have so many people waiting on the stairs. Nothing was served on an hour flight, not even water unless you paid for it. Never encountered that before on any other airlines.
Pros: While the flight left late, the service on board was good as was the comfort provided. Staff friendly. I actually was pleasantly surprised overall given a long past experience on the old SABENA.
Cons: None, overall a decent transatlantic flight without any problems.
Pros: in time food good good sleep multiple languages spoken by the announcer
Cons: the movies - music background to loud couldnt here what they were saying and most of the movies no subtitles
Pros: On time
Cons: Small aircraft. Not enough space. I was asked to check in my hand luggage. Austrian airlines should change the aircraft they use for this route
Cons: I never boarded Brussels airlines. United Airlines put me on TAP or TP which I did like. But my luggage wasn’t forwarded until the 15th dec. Brussels had many natural disasters. My problems I believe were with either United Airlines or Swissport Luggage department
Cons: The service and constant mistakes on rebooking a cancelled flight that ended in more than 6 hours delays and luggage lost
Cons: They did not even offer water to drink for free.
Pros: The crew was outstanding. All amenities were available.
Cons: I can't think of anything.
Pros: Safe flight
Cons: They dropped our connection. Took 3 hours to straighten it out
Pros: Great moives and enteratinment system. Comfy seat. attentive staff on board. Also minimal annoucements, which i love because i don't like to be disturbed in my sleep to hear about the weather.
Cons: Was stuck on plane for 3 hours before they had to cancel it due to computer issues. Missed connenction flight ( 27 hour delay for connecting flight) with them as well as a result, had to stay 2 extra nights (in great accommodation they provided, at least) had minimal information about what to do in the morning (almost missed the bus to the airport because they only had a little sign noting it) Overall they took care of us from the delays, but I still missed a day and a half of work because of it.
Pros: On time, good price, convenient, !
Cons: Charge for coffee and water
Pros: No major issues. Crew provided help making a short connection at Brussels.
Cons: Flight was slightly delayed. Entertainment selection was limited but OK. Seat comfort in coach is low, not much padding; but then, most airlines seem to think comfort is not needed in coach.
Pros: Quick flight, on time.
Cons: Boarding at Brussels airport had to go through a gate, a bus, then out across the airport to the tarmac. Not really a problem, but should be aware if travelling this way. Warning to travellers using this short flight: food/drink only available with payment.
Cons: To small of a choice to choose from. More options and also newer movies would have been better
Cons: Gate was only announced 25 min before boarding
Cons: Called and made a reservation directly with Air Brussels to make sure we got a bassinet seat for our infant and that did not happen. Old airplane and very bad customer service all around. Took over 2 hours to check in at 4am in the morning.
Cons: Lack of any real help with lost luggage. Man on the phone in Brussel asked for File complaint numbers and found nothing. Absolutely no information whatsoever. He gave us a number to call in Florence, which was automated. File number was requested but not found. For all we know our luggage may have been thrown away. Completely unacceptable. Never ever use Brussels Airline.
Cons: 1. During check in, they change my seat number that i choose during the reservation process from a front window seat to a rear isle seat 2. Flight was supposed to land in Hamburg. Because of a storm, they went to Hannover. They announced that the time we will stay in Hannover is unknown. Maybe 2 hours... but then no news from the crew during our stop. 3. Several passeNgers asked to get out in Hannover. The crew said they will ask if possible. After one hour waiting in Hannover they did not even ask the airport authorities. Passengers insisted. The crew then said no because they do not want to go through the luggage finding process. 4. Weather was too hot. Waiting time was too long. Passengers Needed drinks and food. Crew only sold these without even offering free snacks, sandwitches, or drinks. 5. Babies and kids were there. No food nor drinks. They survived during 5 extra hours on the plane schedule on biscuits and water. Personnel did not even think of ordering food from hannover airport while waiting there. They only SOLD the snacks they have. 6. We returned to humburg with 5 hours delay over our original schedule. Stayed 2 hours until we got our luggages on the belt 7. Some passengers had to go back to hannover by train. We discover that all trains were stopped die to problems caused by the storm on the railway. They had the choice either to take very expensive taxis or to sleep over in Hamburg!! 8. This could have been avoided if brussel airline had some good will to at least help those passengers get their luggage and leave in Hannover! 9. Overall: very bad experience and crue attitude in Brussel Airlines!
Pros: Flight departed on time and arrived early. Crew was accommodating and polite.
Cons: Food selection and quality are below average compared to other international economy class flights. Disappointed to find no vegetarian options.
Cons: The flight was similar to a low-cost airline but I was not informed of this when booking. Uncomfortable seats with very little legroom, and food was only available by purchase. Not worth paying the cost of a regular flight for a 5 hour flight!
Pros: They were responsive. They had lots of gate agents. You had to initiate the conversation though.
Cons: The flight was delayed 4.5 hrs. The check-in process was not smooth. After additional security screening at the gate everyone was left on the jetway until everyone had their tickets scanned. They were late loading cargo and food.
Pros: The seats were great, we were seated in an exit row, so loads of legroom, we are tall so this is very important. Crew was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: No fault of the airlines, but I was seated next to a very large family with little kids and a baby. I'm usually pretty tolerant, but the back of my seat was kicked for 8 hours and the kids kept running right in front of me causing me to constantly move my legs. Ugh. Food was ok, nothing special, it edible.
Pros: Alles goed
Cons: The delay (due to weather) that caused me to miss the connection.
Pros: The plane was clean and on time.
Cons: They charged for water! I couldn't get regular water on the plane. I had spent down all my euro, so I didn't have the 3 euro for a bottle of water. They would not accept American money either. After a while, I had to take a medication and needed water so went to one of the crew in his station to ask for it, explaining the situation. He gave me some water, but pretty much shamed me in the process. He was saying it was hard for the crew to have to charge, but they were made to do it now, and what would it look like if other passengers saw him giving me the water and not charging?! OMG!
Pros: The plane took off a few minutes late but arrived on time.
Cons: We arrived at the airport at 4:30 for 6:25 flight and there were only 3 open windows to check baggage for 4 different airlines. There were over 200 people in line extending out the door and no one was present to explain what was happening. Soon additional clerks arrived and the line began to move, but it took 45 minutes. The gate area was not large enough for all the passengers and there were seats for only a few while we waited and waited.
Pros: The flight attendant was friendly.
Cons: My bag was lost. I was in Africa for 4 days before it finally came in. During the flight, there were several hours that we were never checked on or asked if we wanted something to drink.
Cons: The flight was canceled. I found out the day before my departure - the airlines didn't even contact me to let me know - and I never got reimbursed for the canceled flight. I had to purchase a $1500 new ticket to get back home in time. I wrote to the Brussels Airlines and they never addressed these complains.
