I travel a lot and with many other flights internationally and I can tag my bags with different airlines all the way through, but NOT WITH VIRGIN WITH THE SAME AIRLINE ALL THE WAY THROUGH? They can't do it? Then 2 hour delay on the tarmac after taxiing out from the gate at LAX, which got us in late to Brisbane. The food on this leg LAX-BNE for the vegetarian option was terrible, which was strange as on the fist flight over from BNE-LAX it was the best vegetarian food on any flight I've ever had. Strangely 6 months out from our flight I tried calling Delta to upgrade our tickets and was told they had no way of doing it as the Delta computer system isn't linked Virgin system. Then calling Virgin to upgrade I was told I can't as it is a Delta ticker. We tried again a week out from the flight and got the same response and told to try at check-in. We tried then at check in and told they have no idea how to do this as only so many seats are allocated to Delta tickets and they can't access the Delta system?? So very frustrating and we could never upgrade?"

The internet did not work coming back from Central America so if you don't have the entertainment app already on your phone, you couldn't watch any tv since you can't even download the app. Other airlines normally have a monitor so their customers can watch tv and not stain their eyes looking at their phone. But with United, if you don't get beat up the airline, its considered a win."

The two hour delay caused almost half the plane to miss their connecting flights, myself included, and now my carry-on bag with my phone charger, clothes, toothbrush, Cologne, and basically everything I needed, was on its way to my final destination while I was not. The airline gave me vouchers for a hotel and two meals, $10 each, and a plane ticket that I couldn't use cause I had important appointments and meetings to be at, so I had to spend $177 to get a one-way car rental back home."

Why should I have to suffer when I paid extra to have a comfortable flight? So unfair."

The flight itself was very spartan and the lack of cushioning or reclining made it a pretty uncomfortable few hours. After touchdown, we were on the tarmac for at least forty minutes waiting for a gate to open up. This was not a good experience -- I felt like a fifth-class (or lower!) traveler and I will probably pay a little more to avoid flying with this airline in the future."

After fixing it the crew couldn't fly because of federal regulations that states the crew can only work for 8 h. After this whole ordeal, my flight ended up cancelled."

So we flew back to Denver an hour and 20 mins to sit at the Denver airport for 2 hours before they could get us another flight. She plane is cramped and seats uncomfortable so finally we make it to CVG around noon eastern time when we was supposed to be there at 6am eastern time. I call frontier airlines and all they was to do is give me a $50 dollar credit twards another flight with them and I never want to fly though this airline again. I won't recommend anyone to them. And just an FYI to frontier we don't want you to try and get us to apply for a credit card when we finally arrive at our destination we want off the plane please find a different way to promote your airline/credit cards. I would suggest improving customer service and everything though I say that would help you a lot"

Cons: "The bathrooms were disgusting. I understand that the flight crew can only do so much, but they didn't do anything after they were told more than once that the bathrooms were gross. They just gossiped with one another. Also, I am a teacher abroad and have been to many countries in many flights, but this is the first time I have ever been sick in a flight. My head is throbbing from the change of pressure and in all of my years of flying, I have never felt like this. it was a poor experience, and I will be grateful when I don't have to fly with Spirit airlines in the future."
Cons: "Plane was available waiting at airport, weather was ok... switched gates -made only one announcement,had people line up at new gate, then switched gates again had people lineup for boarding,then announced flight will be delayed 1.5 hours - though plane was at gate. Meanwhile about 11 Spirit staff were running around giving conflicting info- Totally a disorganized operation at Chicago O'Hara Spirit crew- and bad communication with passengers. I flew 4 flights in two weeks the crew in O'Hara were totally spaced out. Most likely will select another airline for future travel."

The head flight attendant recognized me in baggage claim and was also polite and wished me safe travels. He didn't have to do that because I'm sure he wanted to get home, however... he went out of his way to wish me well. So impressed!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed 2 hours and they did not communicate this information very well. I was told to go to gate L7 and waited and waited without any information. Then they told us to go to gate L1 and then to go to gate L11 - it was very disorganized . The employees were not helpful and they seemed annoyed at all the questions. It was very crowded in the terminal and they kept telling us to move back to let other passengers off the plane but there was no where to go. All in all it was not a good experience to fly with Spirit."

Spirit customer service was very accommodating at the airport and while our change of flights wasn't ideal, they helped us in a professional and courteous manner. The flight itself was incredibly smooth as was the boarding and de-planing."

The other 10 people would have also missed their flight. The staff was unfriendly listening to us passengers so was the crew on flight."
