I always preferred EVA air every time I visit Philippines. It’s just this time that I have to be very early to make sure that I don’t miss my flight due to TSA problem. There’s only one choice of food serve which you use to have 2 on our flight from Taiwan to Philippines . Otherwise I will still use EVA air in my future flight.

Amazing customer service. BUT!! It would be nice if the flight attendants SMILE a little more, I know they are doing their job, but it is importantly to smile back and be warm to passengers. Nobody is trying to hit on them, it’s just being polite. So, please Taiwanese flight attendants: SMILE MORE WHEN YOU INTERACT WITH PAYING CUSTOMERS

Flight attendants were very helpful and nice. Would be nice to board on time.

I love EVA airline, but the KAYAK website for not in emergency, urgency and personal issues. For instance, on January 5/2026 with already booked the flight, I have a 15 hours of delay between airport when booked before as my choice. But if I want to go back home (U.S) early, then I have to contact the KAYAK office at I was in other country without phone service and nothing that EVA can do for me. Even I offered to pay more to change from another flight to go to the U.S early, not wasting at15 hours of delay, but EVA could not help me until I call KAYAK at an Island of nation. No office of KAYAK from any nation and times of difference in the world. However, everything and everyone is the best. Therefore, please KAYAK making much more easy for both the airline and passenger in some issues at the middle of nowhere in some country when no need to call KAYAK for some emergency, urgency, sick, etc or personal reference. Please, please, please no need to call KAYAK office for any changes of flights from urgency or private.

Don’t preorder the diabetic meal if you don’t have to. Whoever creates those meals thinks everyone loves fish, and hates seasoning. In a world where we can find diabetic friendly candy and low card bread, it’s surprising that places are still serving flavorless gelatin and rice cakes. Boarding in Taipei was chaos. They tried to form a line but didn’t manage it. So once the gate was opened, the line didn’t matter and everyone just mobbed to the front.

It was very long way flight but its good I like the food they serve in EVA air its really good!

My ticket was with EVA Airlines, but Asiana Airlines was the ground crew for EVA Airlines. Me and my family member finally received our boarding passes after waiting to check-in, which took over 30 minutes. I had never done a tax refund before, so I crossed immigration without going to customs to receive a stamp for my tax refund. When I went to the tax kiosk on the other side of the immigration gate, NICE Tax Refund asked me to talk to an airline staff member. I could not find any airline staff member, so I went to the Information Desk. The woman at the Information Desk told me and showed me a sign that read that I needed an airline staff member to accompany me to cross immigration again. The woman at the Information Desk phoned EVA Airlines and Asiana Airlines. I also phoned, but there was no answer. There was still 80 minutes before my flight would leave. I waited for 45 minutes. I spoke to Information, not one time, but two times and the woman assured me that this situation happens often and it is nothing to worry about as the airport is small and once the airline staff arrives, it would only take 10 minutes to go get the stamp and I would be able to make my flight. Then, 35 minutes before my flight was scheduled to leave an Asiana Airline employee, accompanied by the woman from the Information Desk came. Asiana asked me to confirm whether I wanted the customs declaration stamp. I answered yes. Then, she said she would like to state that I should take full responsibility if I could not make my flight. She asked whether I wanted her to proceed to contact a staff member to take me to get the stamp. This was very suspicious as there was still 35 minutes remaining until the flight took off. I directly said to her that the question was very strange, but as there was enough time remaining, I did not see a problem and wanted a staff member to accompany me to get the stamp. She went away and came back 5 minutes later and asked me whether I had the item I wanted to declare on me and how many people were traveling with me. I told her I had the item with me and I was here with a family member. She then went away again for another 5 minutes. When she came back she asked whether all members would not be traveling as well. I stated that I am not sure why me or my family member should not board the airplane. At this point, it became apparent that she was not helpful, so I tried to talk to other airline staff. I also talked to a woman wearing a reflective safety vest, who was organizing the gate bollards for boarding and she said she would take me after boarding. When I asked, how I would board the plane, she then said, you will not be able to. I then talked to a man, who spoke Mandarin and appeared to work for EVA Airlines. He told me it was my fault and not his and tried to re-direct me to another person. He was not busy at all. At this point, it became apparent that, Asiana Airlines and EVA Airlines, were more interested in delaying and preventing me from boarding the airplane. In the time the airline staff wasted arguing with me, they could have just brought me to receive the stamp. It seemed apparent that I was not going to receive the stamp or the tax refund, so I stepped into the boarding queue line. Again, the airline staff, the woman in the reflective safety vest asked me to confirm that I would not be getting on the airplane. I was already boarding! There was written signage of the procedure at your airport’s Information Desk. Then, I was passed to multiple airline staff that were not willing to assist accordingly. There was no one at the customs declaration counter and no one else from the airport to assist me. EVA and Asiana Airlines both avoided responsibility and delayed the procedure. They were rude and indirect about the situation with every attempt to prevent me from boarding. Deterring foreigners to depart from a foreign country over tax refund issues is unlawful.

Flight was canceled was only given only a 8 hour lead time. Had to fight to be put on another airline (United Airlines) that was leaving earlier then the one EVA and rescheduled.

The EVA air staff at Narita did a terrible job with signage and communication. Despite getting to the airport hours before, they had me queue in line and did not communicate that passengers for Kaohsiung need to step out of line to go to a different line. If you put the flight number at the front of the line, people will think that’s their line. If your staff walk silently down the line with a sign of the flight number, how are we supposed to know you want us to follow unless you speak or write that? I even asked the staff with this sign when we could check our bags and they assumed I was on the later flight to Taipei. Later, Wl only 30 minutes remaining I called for help, and the staff looked at me like I was in the wrong. I had to rush through security and customs and had no time to eat or buy a gift. I’m deeply disappointed in the way they handled it, and it caused unnecessary stress on my vacation.

Very good service and food. Crew was professional and helpful. Cabin and restrooms were kept clean

My seat had many issues. First the chair was broken where reclining was difficult. My usb plug was also broken so charging was impossible.

Multiple late or canceled flights. Lounge was 100 degrees. Food was terrible. The plane was incredibly old, and best of all, a screaming child for 3 hours. All for the low low price of $2,600 one way Hanoi to Shanghai. No idea how Cathay is ranked so high. Cathay is not much better than American Airlines or Spirit. In the future I will go out of my way to not fly Cathay.

The experience was very good. A little disappointed for the delays and the screen. The touch screen was annoying for being so irresponsive. Not a lot of good movie choices for me. The service is great. Food could have more choices though.

I didn't see any flight attendants offer coffee or green tea. There was regular drink service but after a short meal was served didn't notice that happening.

Selected ovo lacto meal because I’m ok with milk products but not any meat. It was terrible. We had the same selection back in October when we had traveled and it was pretty good at that time. It was gross this time.

There could have been more options on the entertainment section Nothing was available for non English speaking passengers

Crew was very good, but could have checked on us when meals were not being served also.

I was mid plane and they were already out of the main beef entree....ugh!

great experience. better than all other airlines flying this route.

I didn't have much experience with Cathay Pacific airlines because of delay and missed connections, the bulk of the trip was on Japan Airlines.

Middle seats SUCK!!!! I paid more money than I should have because of your terrible site Kayak.com. I'll try to use your competitors going forward. I am so disappointed you would play off business class.com as business class seats

The boarding was efficient. The entertainment system was a bit unstable but Air France has a good selection of movies.

They lost my bag and I still have not received it

Communication on the delay, rebooking and how to get a hotel was poor. Mails, airport check-in and transfer desk said different things.

Not consistent with the food quality (I mean taste not freshness)

Safe and stable made me sleepy and I slept and dreamt 😂😂😂😂

Food was really mediocre for premium economy in comparison to other airlines… the crew was nowhere to be found… 14 hour flight…

I don’t like that an equipment change caused my seat to change from 23A to 44A. The boarding was also delayed. The crew were excellent, however and very attentive. The food was not bad.

Worst airlines either. First leg was delayed because of crew not available. My connection was missed so they booked me automatically the next day! But, impossible to get anyone on site, web site does not let me access my reservation anymore, confirmed by useless agents over the phone. My 2-leg trip with part in business class arriving at 4:10pm ends up in an awful 3-leg arriving at 9pm the next day with no way to even choose the seats and of course at the very end of the plane. I can understand problems arrive but the way Air France handle it is just unacceptable. You are on your own. Apparently getting you to your destination is the only thing they consider their duty. The customer experience and fatigue is none of their concern. And I have a status with them. I will reconsider my priorities when flying with Air France and encourage everyone to do the same.

Our flight crew were terrific. And they handle a difficult passenger with finesse.

The meals were not the greatest and lacking of appetite but everything else was spot on

Overall, excellent: check-in, boarding, service, and food. The Business Class seating is a little less private and spacious than the world's premier airlines, but still very good for a long haul flight.

On time. Friendly and helpful flight attendants. The plane was clean. Having a wine available would have been nice.

Your staff was exceptional. Could teach the other airlines-rules on etiquette, and service. Excellent landings on flights, carried out by your pilots. Only complaint is long delay on return flight in Beijing, onto Vancouver.

Worst than I expected, crew was not attentive, meal was as disgusting , they didn’t even drink selections as they would to other passengers. I felt discriminated

cannot get seat information for LAX to IAH when check in in XI,AN

UA is ok. But check in was a very bad experience

I hate that you cannot check in online and when you are at the airport, there aren't any aisle seats left. Also, they could work a little on subtitles for their movies (not everyone is a native English speaker).

Nothing to complain of, the only reason I am not giving better marks is that I am used to flying with ANA and they are the top.

It's terrible that we can't do online check in because we didn't buy the tickets directly from Air china. It was not explained until I contacted Chatdeal and we could not sit together.

The flight was delayed. The staff made us wait in the room that is too small and it was crowded and with no seats available for waiting. They did not tell us why the delay occurred.

While boarding at PVG, there was a ticket checking at the gate, then there was another ticket checking at the bottom of the escalator, which created quite a dangerous congestion. Not sure which idiot made this absolutely unnecessary arrangement.

While boarding at PVG, there was a ticket checking by the gate, then there was another ticket checking right at the bottom of the escalator, which created quite a dangerous congestion. Don't understand why the duplication?

I was traveling alone with an infant, so the crew was incredibly helpful. Both the international and subsequent domestic flights were impeccable.

Plane was good. But food was bad and air host was so rude. I will never fly with China Eastern again

The flight was delayed by 2 hours, although to their credit they delayed my connecting flight so people could reach it. Also their site is a nightmare to navigate on a phone. Everything else was good.

The ticket was last minute buy so no concerns about the pricing this time, but the crew in general could have been more accommodating, helpful.

CTU-KMG-CNX with 1.5 hr connection at KMG. Doable but just barely bc immigration exit from China is at the last flight leg, here: KMG to CNX. We hauled out of the domestic terminal to reenter at the international departures (luggage checked thru to CNX thankfully). Immigration had only two agents, even though KMG gets a HUGE number of foreigners. It took forever for such a shot line. Then security also took a while, so I just just made the connection. Recommend if you exit China with domestic international transfer, plan for 2+ hrs to avoid a heart attack. Airline personnel don’t suffer if you miss the flight, you do. Plan accordingly.

China Eastern as a member of Sky Alliance airlines should have the same standards overall of their partners, Besides the seats comforts everything else is bellow the standard for a business class travelers. A BIG ISSUE FOR NON-CHINESE PASSENGERS IS THE ABILITY TO CHECK IN ONLINE, by making so difficult or almost impossible there is no chance to get a seat assignment ahead of time then go to the airport and get what is left. THIS IS NOT a SKY TEAM modality.

China Eastern as a member of Sky Alliance airlines should have the same standards overall of their partners, Besides the seats comforts everything else is bellow the standard for a business class travelers.
